Abstract

Achievement of plant capacity and reducing bottlenecks in the production process at wet blanketworkstation determined on the level worker of musculoskeletal disorders and the cycles time of the productionprocess per slabs. Capabilities and limitations of workers, equipment, task, and environmental organizationsmust be harmonized for level of workers musculoskeletal disorders and the cycles time of the productionprocess per slabs reduction. The problem scale priority based on total ergonomics must be applied early withidentification of 8 aspects of ergonomics, planned and considered systemic, holistic, interdisciplinary andparticipatory and apply the concept of appropriate technology become one of problem solution about this case.Reduction of level of worker musculoskeletal disorders and cycles time of the production process per slabsbased on ergonomics; include redesigning of the ergonomics table and standing-seat chair folding work wetblanket, setting the pattern system of pair work, giving an active break, providing additional nutrition inthe form of sweet tea and snack pempek, provision of personal protective equipment, and redesigning of thephysical work environment. Experimental research was using the treatment by subject design, with involved17 workers samples who perform activities on the conditions of activity before and after the redesign basedon ergonomics. The level worker of muskuluskeletal disorders, and the cycle time of the production processper slabs data were analyzed using Two Pair Sample t-test at a significance level of 5%. The results of studyshowed that after redesign of wet blanket workstation based on ergonomics there was a significant reductionof the level worker of muskuluskeletal disorders as 21.02%, and reduction of the cycles time of the productionprocess per slabs as 21.85%.

Abstract

Usaha kecil menengah (UKM) memiliki peran penting bagi perekonomian di Indonesia karenadapat menggerakkan ekonomi yang berbasis kerakyatan. Agar dapat bertahan dalam persainganglobal saat ini, setiap UKM diharapkan dapat selalu meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya. Usahaini dapat dilakukan melalui adanya pelatihan, peningkatan komitmen karyawan, serta pemenuhankepuasan kerja karyawan. Selain kinerja karyawan, hal penting lainnya adalah tingkat turn overintention karyawan, di mana hal ini dapat merugikan UKM bila tingkat turn over intention tersebuttinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yangberpengaruh terhadap kinerja dan turn over intention karyawan UKM serta memberikan usulanperbaikannya. Sehingga UKM dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dan menurunkan tingkatturn over intention karyawannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Partial LeastSquare (PLS). Abstract

This paper describes a technological business incubation model, developing integrated curriculum with technopreneurship education, as well as the involvement of Industrial Engineering of Tarumanagara University to create technology startup ecosystem. University holds the important role for enhancing technopreneurs in Indonesia. Academics or researchers as technology transfer agents, are responsible to disseminate technology entrepreneurship education broadly. Eventually, technological business incubator will able to accelerate commercialization of innovations or inventions from university researchs.

Abstract

Supply Chain Management (SCM) has been assumed to play an important role in the companys performance and has attracted academician’s attention to research seriously in these recent years. A number of literatures reveal the research of supply chain management developmenth that has implemented RFID technology. Generally, the method is implemented by combining and informing the journal about cost-benefit analysis model in a company that applies RFID tag technology integratedly from production line, delivery up to management of retailer part. Currently, all links from the entire supply chain need to integrate those different parts and have better controls to get better returns. This integration must offer the ability for the company to have a thorough and transparent insight into its supply chain activities. Intelligent supply chains that are primarily supported by RFID technology can meet these integration needs. By using RFID, a company can benefit from several advantages. One of them is cost reduction and time efficiency. This paper attempts to recommend a model to estimate the benefits of implementing RFID in companies that have an integrated supply chain process. The proposed model is used to find out the value of depreciation and RFID price tag that can provide maximum benefit from RFID implementation. Abstract

A design of biodiesel supply chain from waste cooking oil conducted in previous studies. Implementation of supply chain design needs to be studied more in depth and comprehensive. One aspect of the study is a supply chain risk management. Supply chain risk management is important because many events in supply chain which raises operational problems and the cessation of business activity. Because of vulnerability of the supply chain to various internal and external risks, the study of risk sources is needed. This study examines the sources of risk and the weighting that may occur along the supply chain for the distribution of biodiesel from waste cooking oil from suppliers that located in various places until the sale of biodiesel to consumers that are targeted to the public in Padang. The method used in this research is fuzzy AHP with triangular fuzzy number approach. Risk identification is done with the study of literature and assessment by experts. Based on the results obtained sequences risks from largest to smallest weight are raw materials, market, quality, production, transportation, and partnerships.

Abstract

PT XYZ is a company that produce tools, machine parts, and special purpose machines. Based on data from the production department, there are some products with high defect and then need rework. This condition would be very harmful because it will increase the cost that should not be necessary. The research is to find the cause of the occurrence of this defect and then fix it. From the observation result showed that the production of feed roll component has a high defect rate which is 70.59% must be reworked, based on the data during January - September 2016. In October - December 2016 the improvement effort was done by using lean manufacturing approach and PDCA. The results of this improvement provide improved quality of the feed roll component so that the rework gradually decreases and eventually does not exist. Then the cost of production before the repair of Rp 668,694, - reduced to Rp 413,983, -. There was a significant decrease in production cost by 38%.

Abstract

Human realibility is a big tricky problem. Human failure rates depend on three main factors, namelyintrinsic, work environment, and stress. PT. X is a supplier for PT. LG Indonesia manufacturing productsmade from plastics. Human Realibility Assesment is conducted using HEART methods (Human ErrorAssessment and Reduction Technique). In the first phase, task analysis on operators’ activities is done usingHierarchical Task Analysis (HTA). The largest Human Error Probability was found when Operator No. 1did not insert the flash side carefully. The value of this probability is 0.53424. This factor is concluded as themain cause to shroud defectives, which results in customer penalyzing the company.

Abstract

Visual inspection task is the inspection activity of a product with the eye position centered over the moving conveyor, the faster the product is produced, the more critical the time of the inspection operator. The conditions in the long term will result in a decrease in productivity (Manuaba, 1992). The research objective to be achieved, among others: (1) Determining the optimal level of productivity based on the studies measure of performance checks on experimental design in every visual inspection task beverage packaging cup "Panther". (2) Determine the influence of lighting, working position and gender on the productivity of visual inspection task on beverage packaging. The object of research is part operator checks on beverage packaging cup "panther". Here are 10 people who have IQ scores of 90-120 aged 20-25 years. The research method was experimental method. The independent variables consist of lighting levels, working position, and gender. Variable manipulated into 12 groups experimental design. Data processing is done by checking the performance measurement approach. Analysis of experimental data using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), and productivity. The study states that: (1) the highest labor productivity LkB200 experimental design (male, standing working position, the lighting level of 200 Lux) for 0.833. But the productivity of all design experiments have not reached optimal productivity, (2) Areas of different interactions in experimental design factor is the level of lighting in the working position. Abstract

Kecelakaan kapal yang tercatat dalam Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas 1 Banten periode Desember 2012 hingga Januari 2014 menyatakan bahwa jenis kecelakaan yang terjadi di Pelabuhan Banten berupa tubrukan atau benturan, kebakaran, kandas dan tenggelam. Kecelakaan kapal jenis tubrukan merupakan kecelakaan yang sering terjadi di Pelabuhan Banten dengan presentase sebesar 63,64% sebanyak 7 kejadian. Penelitan ini memfokuskan terhadap jenis kecelakaan tubrukan kapal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengklasifikasikan penyebab tubrukan kapal kedalam HFACS dan menentukan rating penyebab tubrukan kapal berdasarkan AHP. Hasilidentifikasi dan klasifikasi penyebab tubrukan kapal berdasarkan faktor HFACS yaitu, unsafe acts (tindakan tidak aman) sebanyak 6 penyebab atau 40% dengan rating AHP sbesar 12.24%, preconditions for unsafe acts (kondisi tertentu penyebab tindakan tidak aman) sebanyak 4 penyebabatau 27% dengan rating AHP sebesar 8.51%, unsafe supervision (kesalahan pada pengawasan) sebanyak 2 penyebab atau 13% dengan rating AHP sebesar 8.24% dan organizational influences (pengaruh organisasi) sebanyak 3 penyebab atau 20% dengan rating AHP sebesar 10.84%.

Abstract

The increasing internet users in Indonesia has encourage companies to take advantage of internet technology in its business (e-commerce). Amid the growth of e-commerce, Rakuten Indonesia (RI) as one of the e-commerce company, have to compete in order to retain its existence. For e-commerce companies, website’s usability has an important role in attracting consumers to conduct transactions. RI website’s usability will be evaluated using Eyetracking usability testing. Eyetracking usability testing use the results of the gaze replay, gaze plots, heat maps, and the area of interest (AOI). The evaluation was done for the website features (product categorization, filtering products, sorting products, product description, saving products, as well as ordering the product), and the placement of the advertisement on the homepage RI website. From the evaluation, it was found 10 problems related RI website’s feature and the improvements was made. From the results of the evaluation of advertisement’s placements based AOI, can be determined the cost of advertising and the content of the advertisement on a specific area on the websites homepage.
