Abstract

Information systems research and community service institute (LPPM) Sahid. Surakarta University is an institution that has the task to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the implementation of research activities and public service organized by the lecturers who performed in groups or individually. LPPM website already exist, the previous design of the website can be accessed by four users are admin, lecturers, students and visitors then it can be implemented for lecturers and students. In this research researchers completed the admin in order to provide information to visitors and adds reviewers to evaluate the proposal. Data collection methodologyused is the method of observation, and the design methods, the experimental method. The conclusion LPPM website has been tested by the method of McCall and got atotal value of 75.8% quality. According to the results of the test are expected to be applied to the LPPM website USAHID Surakarta to help provide the latest informationand online data processing.

Abstract

Scientific writing will benefit significantly if it is published to the public. Therefore, scientific results can be known and utilized by the community. However, it is also high risky to be imitated by irresponsible parties that this is commonly called plagiarism. One of the subjects must be taken by students at the Sahid Surakarta  University is Final Project or Thesis. Sahid Surakarta University does not have a system for detecting plagiarism of scientific writing automatically. The aims of this research is to make an analysis of plagiarism detection system of scientific writing, especially Final Project or Thesis of students Sahid SurakartaUniversity. Analysis of this system used PIECES method which consists of six elements: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Services.   This result of research is an document analysis of detection system in plagiarism of scientific writing at the Sahid Surakarta University.

Abstract

Selection the type and weight of student violations rather hard done by the College, sometimes a student has a good performance in terms of the lecture but on theother side is less good behavior or attitude compared to other students and vice versa. Assessment methods should be developed to make the selection and evaluation of the students indicated particularly problematic, in order to do the evaluation and handling more structured and transparent so that the students can understand the basic evaluation of College and was treated fairly. In this study, a Decision Support System (DSS) which resulted in a system for support in decision-making to determine  objectively the student in question and it concerns also specific guidance. DSS created using decision table, the criteria used is the index value achievement, long study, long leave of absence (inactive), the number of absences, payments of fees, alcohol, drugs and fighting. The system can display decision tables according to existing theory and display the list of problem students in accordance with the conditions in the decision table. In tests, the system is quite effective in the calculation that uses looping and branching and has been tested using white box.

Abstract

Psychological factors in patients with chronic renal failure conditions are severely affected by prolonged course of the disease, disability and discomfort should depend onthe hemodialysis machine. Hemodialysis therapy in addition to disturbing the physical, complications can trigger mental disorders. Patients with chronic renal failure often have psychological disorders associated with general medical conditions. Anxiety and depression are often psychological disorders experienced. Symptoms that are almost similar to each other will require experts to correctly identify them based on the patients perceived symptoms. Limitations of health practitioners in exploring thepsychological conditions felt by the patient to be one reason for the necessity of a clinical decision support system capable of integrating patient information  (demographic, clinical, social psychological) with a knowledge base with the aim of identifying psychological conditions in a clinical setting that can assist physicians, nurses, psychologists and health practitioners others in making a clinical decision on their patients. The approach in this study uses case-based reasoning (Case-Based Reasoning) (CBR). CBR process through four stages of the process are: retrieve, reuse, revise and retain. If there is a similar case then the reasoning to weigh the nearest case using the Simple Matching Coefficient (SMC) method so that the system is able to streamline the diagnostic process by taking into account the closeness between the base case and the target case. As a result, the system will be able to provide a recommendation picture of the initial diagnosis of the highest percentage of possible types of psychological disturbance suffered with its severity level and the best solution for new cases based on the nearest case solution of the nearest similarity level.

Abstract

The Library of Sahid University at Surakarta still used a manual data processing system by a human. This procedures has some weakness, specially mistake error andused a long time during searching or recording the data.The purpose of this research is to develop the information and data processing system at Sahid University Library. Thesystem that been developed is information and data processing that previously done by human converted to computer based system. These changes are necessary to facilitate data processing and presentation of information properly in order to avoid the weakness a manual system. This research use an object methode, that built depend on library necessary both visitors and library staff. A system can be called qualified if it meets several criteria ofquality. Software quality measurement in this study using McCall methodes with five factors include of correctness, reliability, eficiency, usability and maintenance. Thismethode had chosen because of this methode is familiar and good to measure the quality of software. The resulting product of this research is library information system based from the object that built depend on library necessary. The advantages of this system is moreeasy to finding a book or catalog like borrowing or repayment transactions, input of book data and member and also more easy to make the reports. Finally, the result is thesystem with McCall methodes have 77,151% total quality, that means this system can be applied at Sahid University Library to simplify the data processing and presentation all about Library information.

Abstract

CD rental at Tisanda is uncomputerized that caused slow in time and energy-consuming transaction. Information System of CD rental is an alternative solution to solve problem in the data analysis. CD rental information system is a system that has borrowing and repayment process, including providing information about the number of existing CDs. This study discusses lending transactions, refunds, and penalties. This research method is observation, interviews, and literature. The system is built using Visual Basic as the language program and mySQL as database with mysql-connector-odbc-win32-3:51:23 as connectors. CD Rental Information System includes the CD report, rent, damage, and loss of earnings. This system is more efficient because it can minimize data storage. In addition, it takes less energy and need a short time to input data or reports and data can be accessed more quickly than before. Rental Information System at Tisanda alsouses a barcode reader so the transactions can be faster.

Abstract

Selection of providers of goods and services is a routine work carried out by the Ministry of Public Works Directorate General of Water Resources (DPU DirJen SDA)  Yogyakarta as auctioneer project procurement. The auction process conducted by 2 steps that must be passed by each participant selection, namely the pre-selection andselection process. Pre-selection stage takes a long time from the announcement of the project which will be auctioned to the technical bid evaluation assessment of participant selection document roadmap participants. The next stage of the selection process, this process will not work if the previous stage of the selection of participants who did not pass the next phase still could not accept the results of the selection committee on the assessment of the value of the technical evaluation of bids that have been made by the participant selection, because the rule is no objection period provided to participants if the selection can not accept the results of the assessment selection committee. The selection process will run to the next stage after the selection of participants receiving the results of the assessment of the selection committee and given objection period had expired. Based on the background of the existing problems can be formulated on how to make a design decision support system for the selection of providers of goods and services in DPU DirJen SDAYogyakarta. The decision support system aims to implement a decision support system for the selection of goods and services providers to the selection committee in DPU DirJenSDA Yogyakarta. The system works based on the data input of the selection committee which will then be processed by the system based on the required criteria. The data has been processed the system will be displayed and ranked by graphs of each participant selection. From these results we can conclude the committee which participantsprocurement of goods and services providers are entitled to handle the project.

Abstract

Inventory data information and selling system is a system that provides the information services includes goods inventory, selling and purchasing transactions. Theaxistence of information system is important, in this point, Inventory data information and selling system in Jaya Abadi Motor of Nguter Repair Shop addressed as resarchlocation, beause system used here still simple and manually, where all the activities of incomin and outcoming goods administering are only recorded in ordinary books. This system had some impacts on time expanded used in data processing, searching, and daily goods selling. Another problem has been raised as mistaken on recording, and this not easy to make investigation to the lost and broken goods. The aims of this research is to make easier in minimizing good’s also data goods reporting, increasinginventory monitoring therefore, data processing and goods inventory would be controlled better. Research method used in this study is observation, interview, and literature. Information system used  here is Windows 7 operating system, and uses Visual Basic.Net 2005, also Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Software. Research results from this study are an information system of data inventory and selling called: Inventory data information and selling system in Jaya Abadi Motor Repair Shop of Nguter, has made to provide the goods inventory monitoring in Jaya Abadi Motor Repair Shop of Nguter.

Abstract

Sales of Furniture at Asri Store done manually which services to consumers and recording of goods sold recorded modest. This allows for the difference in the numberof inventory items and the difficulty in knowing revenue each month. Therefore need to be made selling computer-based information systems as an alternative to avoid errors in processing the data on the old system. Sales information system that will be made is built and developed using data modeling with DFD, diimplementasian using visual basic programming language and the use of Microsoft Access databases in data management and storage. The information generated from the sale of informationsystems that report the best-selling items, income statement, and statement of sales transactions. Based on the results of testing with user subjective evaluation, a total of12 respondents (60%) assess quickly the system in service, 11 respondents (55%) assess the performance of the system makes it easy, 13 respondents (65%) believe the system is  easy to use good, 13 respondents (65%) assess the system easy to understand

Abstract

The purpose of the utilization of the waste of natural stone waste is 1) To increase  the capability and knowledge of the technique of utilization of solid waste stone waste   as well as powder professionally and efficiently, 2). Obtaining side income through  knowledge transfer of handicraf and mosaic manufacture, 3) Improving quality of life  by utilizing sawmill waste, 4) Increasing quality and added value of waste of stone  perngerga, 5) Reducing soil contamination due to solid and liquid waste on stone  sawing. 6) Creation of a clean, healthy and comfortable environment and free from  pollution due to sawn stone.Training procedures and practices of utilizing natural stone sawn waste as handycraf and mosaic have been implemented as planned and followed by 30 participants. The training was conducted at the home of one of the community service  team in collaboration with the totogan villagers and the pengarajin sawn stones.  Training begins with an explanation of the basic theories of materials, materials and  materials groups. Participants are taught by the direct practice of utilization of natural  stone sawdust waste both powder and solid. Participants were divided into 2 groups  consisting of 15 participants. Each group made mosaic of stone waste and made a  molding craft with powder, cement, hardener, cobalt and rezin. In this training is also  given how to create a mosaic that is true, strong and artistic and given training how to  make kerajian handycraf with a mixture of waste natural stone powder and cement used  as flower pots. while a mixture of powders, resins, hardener and cobal is molded by  making various handicrafts.   The results obtained that the participants have been able to create a natural stone mosaic with the size 30x30 cm and 40x40 cm and 5 cm thick. Mosaic of this natural stone can be used to be taped to the wall or home-garden home because it is more artistic. In the participants have been able to make miniature handycraf of prambanan temple, ashtray with picture of cat, horse, fish, and bird. At the end of the training each participant is distributed a team of mentoring funds for mosaic and handicraft molding materials as well as supporting materials such as cement and resin. As proof of their participation in training the utilization of natural stone participants are given a certificate. From the participants interest in participating in this training, it can be concluded that this epic skill training activity is very necessary for the citizens and the youth to drop out of school so that they will have additional skills and income which is useful for poverty alleviation.
