Abstract

Small and Medium Micro Enterprises in the city of Surakarta are developing, one of which is engaged in culinary. The culinary business is a very promising businessbecause it can provide more than 50% profit. Surakarta is a culinary city with a variety of foods from all over Indonesia. No exception of typical food from West Sumatra thathas mushroomed in the city of Surakarta and its surroundings. Many Padang restaurants are spread throughout the city of Surakarta and its surroundings. Padangfood is popular because of its distinctive taste and different presentation with food from other regions. In the process of serving using neatly arranged plates and when serving to consumers, the waiter will arrange neatly with his hands. With the many Padang restaurants in Surakarta and the high level of consumer interest in Padang cuisine, the researchers analyzed the UMKM strategy using SWOT analysis, EFE Matrix, IFE Matrix and IE Matrix. EPG Restaurant located in Surakarta is suitable forimplementing management strategies in the form of intensive strategies in the form of market penetration, market development and product development and IntegrationStrategies, namely backward integration, forward integration, and horizontal integration, and the final conclusion is (3) to determine what strategy the right one isused in decision making, then the analysis of Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) is carried out and the results obtained are choosing a product Developmentstrategy with an alternative total score of 3.88 compared to market penetration with a smaller total alternative score of 3, 76

Abstract

In Indonesia the safety program in construction projects has not been a concern of all parties because Indonesia is still listed as the country with the highest level ofaccidents. The number of accidents in Indonesia is also the highest in the ASEAN region. There are almost 32% of accident cases that occur in the construction sector involving all types of construction projects such as the construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, dams and other constructions. One of the hazards of a construction activity is ergonomic hazards, so that from the phenomenon of ergonomic hazards that dominate and even escalate into workplace accidents in the construction sector, it is important to explore the role of ergonomics in preventing work accidents in the construction sector. At the Micro level, an important aspect that is the focus of this paper is the Implementation of Construction Works in the context of Macroergonomics in developing and implementing an Ergonomic Construction Management System. This Management System focuses on the focus of macroergonomics, namely aspects of Human, Technology, Organization and the Environment of the Company.  acroergonomic which covers organizational ergonomics and social ergonomics is the development of microergonomies that need attention in construction activities in Indonesia. Because of the still high number of construction work accidents, the government's efforts are to issue Construction SMK3 and other regulatory packages related to construction work safety. The Owner of the Construction Project must actively monitor and evaluate the implementation of the construction work not only on the dimensions of physical work and fulfillment of the technical requirements of the building but need to proactively monitor and evaluate safety performance, especially in the ergonomics field

Abstract

People will be capable of performing their good if supported by good working environment. The state of the environment a less well may be demanded of time andenergy more which is certainly not support procures design working system efficient and productive. In planning and design working system attention should be given to any factor that could be affect the work environment as, temperature, moisture, lighting, and noise.Methods used in research this is the method fuzzy inference system mamdani. This method used to determine environmental conditions in the work where to known each range of four variables that were used to know space good working for employees. By using the method fuzzy inference mamdani system can be seen that conditions of temperature that is less than 200c , moisture 52.5 % , lighting 200 lux , noise 47.5 then by using the method fuzzy inference system mamdani with the help of the application of matlab then obtained the results of employee performance 90,7. With he knew the environmental conditions study good will be able to know the state of the study employees so that will yield energy good for the environment of the company by therefore digunakanlah the tools to determine a decision by using matlab 2010b.

Abstract

Manufacturing industry is always required to carry out efficiency and effectiveness in the production system. One strategy can be done to achieve is through setting the layout of the facility. By structurizing the layout of good facilities, companies can reduce production costs without reducing the quality of the products produced. One of the companies that designs the facilities layout to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the production system is PT. AGNA INSPIRE, manufacturer of slider frames in the Banjarsari area, Surakarta. The company plans to replace machinery and move the factory to another location. The arrangement of the machines carried out in the previous factory only considered empty space, regardless of the order of the production process. In fact, the company's production is made to stock and the arrangement of the machines should follow the order of the process. Therefore, it is necessary to design the layout of operating machinery facilities by considering thesequence of processes to minimize distance and material handling costs. The method used in determining the layout is the blockplan method. Based on the results of data processing, the proposed layout design was obtained with Material Handling Cost (OMH) of Rp. 651,000. This value is more efficient than OMH in the previous layout of Rp. 1,036,000, -

Abstract

This journal is intended to apply laboratory research on an industrial scale that aims to: 1) identify potential workplace accidents, and 2) Implementation of ergonomics in the garment industry to increase productivity of workers and reduce occupational accidents. Therefore, in the methodology, non-experimental and observational research is conducted by observation of a number of subject variables based on the actual state (in nature), without any manipulation or intervention of the researcher, as this research approach used modeling system and simulation study where data, and the role that is displayed in the picture is translated in mathematics from a reality. The end result of this research 1) Identification of work accident potential can be divided into: a. Initial stage can be identified the initial condition, where the condition of the foot is burdened with body weight and unstable position during work back position many curved due to back aches and pains and Adverse effects for internal organs. b. Phase Improvement of observation after improvement of sitting position where in sitting position and standing position, sitting position where the foot is not burdened with body weight and stable position during work. While standing position where vertical vertical position and weight are balanced in two legs. Application in the industry for comparison of seated and standing working positions In the Garment Industry Seated and standing positions have biomechanical advantages, where the pressure on the spine and waist is 30% lower than the sitting position or standing position continuously. 2) The results of ergonomic application in the workplace / garment industry can increase the productivity of the workers: In the implementation of ergonomics, the initial improvement phase in the garment industry obtained a productivity increase of 28%; decreased cruelty; provide work convenience; reduced complaints against occupational health problems and increased worker income by 15% - 17%;

Abstract

Along with the development of equipment technology has become a basic requirement in various jobs. This means that equipment and technology are importantsupports in an effort to increase productivity for various types of work. To improve work efficiency and productivity, the implementation of occupational safety and healthin the workplace is one form of effort to create a safe, healthy, free from environmental pollution workplaces. So that, it can reduce and or be free from work accidents andPAK which ultimately can improve efficiency and work productivity which leads to maximum profits for the company. In this case the problem that often occurs is thatworkers always do work every day whose work activities are carried out the same and repeat from day to day, so it is feared that in the long run their health will be disrupted. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) are diseases that have symptoms that attack muscles, conditions, tendons, joint ligaments, cartilage and spinal cord. FactorsCausing Complaints on Musculoskeletal Disorders: excessive muscle stretching, repetitive activity, unnatural working attitudes, secondary factors (pressure, vibration, microclimates) and combination causes (age, sex, smoking habits, physical fitness, physical strength, body size (anthropometry)). Steps to Overcome the Complaints of theMusculoskeletal System are by Engineering and Management Engineering.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build Application of Outpatient Registration in the hope that patient registration process easier to do, efficient and has been usingthe latest technology by using Web-based application. In the event of a problem can be detected and repaired more easily and quickly. The current system at Meilia CibuburHospital is a hospital-based hospital system, a running system that has been running well and has helped get the required data officer. But on the desktop technology-based application side is limited by the access that must be in one network of Meilia Hospital only. The author studied the existing system and make the application of Outpatient Registration with the aim of renewal of hospital application technology into web-based application of course with no disrupt and almost the same for the workflow officers with existing systems.

Abstract

Labor scheduling is the allocation of human resources to work stations in accordance with needs, to increase productivity of the company must schedule labor optimally, PT XYZ is a packaging company located in Tangerang-Banten.The company has implemented workforce scheduling with 3 work shifts and 1 day off in 1 week.Human resources are very important to note, therefore, to increase company productivity there needs to be an additional day off for every workforce. To accommodate 3 work shifts per day and 2 days off in 1 week, this study uses the modified Tibrewala, Philippe and Browne algorithm methods. Modification of the algorithm changes and adds from 3 steps to 5 steps and changes the tabular table format for scheduling workers for three shifts. Scheduling workforce with 5 working days and 2 holidays requires a workforce of 20 people in the printing department and 26 people in the laminate section and 32 people in the Slitting section. The excess labor that occurs is 1 man-days in the printing section and 4 man-days on the laminate section, and 13 man days on the slitting section. The excess of the workforce can be  utilized when there are workers who do not enter work due to illness, permission or leave. The scheduling is expected to be able to maintain the health and safety of the workforce so that it can perform optimal work to increase the productivity of the company.

Abstract

Human Resources (HR) is an important component in a company, so a massive and continuous effort is needed in managing HR in a company. As the change in theparadigm of HR management in a company causes the level of competition in the world of HR development consulting business in Indonesia is very tight. Consultant companies that cannot adapt to these changes will automatically be overwhelmed by existing developments. Change is a transformation from the present state to the expected condition in the future, a better condition of course. Change is a sign in life that always takes place constantly. Only companies that have the ability to adapt to change will be able to survive. Change management is one of the important strategies of a company capable of increasing competitiveness. Change management that involves intense relationships between employees and management will boost a company's competitive advantage. The research method uses a qualitative approach through collecting change management literature. Competition in the business world of consultants increasingly demands the improvement of the quality and innovation of personnel and products continuously and consistantly.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know whether there is influence of OHS knowledge, OHS compliance and OHS supervision for mafacture company in Bekasi district to the number of work accident through the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health Management (SMK3) system. The three independent variables in this research are knowledge of OHS (X1), OHS compliance (X2), and OHS supervision (X3) and one dependent variable is Occupational Safety and Health Management System (Y).This research uses Quantitative approach with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) method, data collecting is done by distributing questionnaires to 295 respondents, data processing using Lisrel program, research subject is manufacturing company in Bekasi district industrial area. The result of analysis is known that Knowledge of OHS, OHS Compliance , and OHS Supervisory simultaneously give a significant influence to the implementation of OHS Management System within the company, Lack of knowledge on OHS resulted in lack of Compliance level and lack of Supervision from Institution having authority according to the provisions of law, the forefront of OHS Management System will affect the high of low accidents in company.
