Abstract

Correspondence Information System is a system built with the needs of matters relating to the activities of the letter - correspondence. Correspondence information system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. Every user has different permissions. The existence of this system the user can easily create letters quickly as the letter associated with the final project and job training and letters associated with other Information Engineering study program and equipped with facilities to upload your inbox so that the performance of the user to be more effective and efficient .Testing this letter information system using black box method is the method of testing software that tests the functionality of the application as opposed to the internalstructure or work. System test results showed no significant obstacles found in normal use, most users are satisfied with this system with the services provided.

Abstract

Learning media used for teaching in SD Negeri Sumber 1 Surakarta by the teachers is still conventionally done which are using lectures, and props with the globe. So the students still find it hard to understand the topic, such as the difficulty to distinguish between the bay with a cape. Web-based learning media is an alternative method for interactive learning. The students will be more engaged when assisted with a number of media that supports the interaction process that is being implemented within the capturing of the educational messages conveyed by presenting interesting teaching materials such as the usage of pictures, animation, and video to actively participate in the learning process. The planning of this research is to develop learning media about Earth’s surface using PHP programming language and MySQL database. This design of thisapplication is using UML. The study was conducted using the methodology, ie observation, interview and references. Waterfall method is used as applicationdevelopment method. The testing method used in this research is the Black Box method. The test result indicates that the system is running well.

Abstract

The use of information and communication technology in the learning media isnow an alternative in the learning process. In the course of lectures as a lecturer cannot only rely on writing that is always written in the media whiteboard. The show is certainly conventional and monotonous. In order for the learning process interesting,the use of ICT now has become a necessity and can be more interesting in the learning process.The subject of Islamic education taught should also adjust the development of ICT. As an alternative to the development of learning media, Islamic religious educationmaterials will be developed using ISPRing application. ISpring application is an application that packs material created with power point so that the end result of this teaching materials more interesting by displaying multimedia-based teaching materials In writing, this will be discussed the results of the development of teaching materials of Islamic education that has been packaged in power point will be processed to make it more interesting by using iSpring.

Abstract

Scientific writing will benefit significantly if it is published to the public. Therefore, scientific results can be known and utilized by the community. However, it is also high risky to be imitated by irresponsible parties that this is commonly called plagiarism. One of the subjects must be taken by students at the Sahid Surakarta University is Final Project or Thesis. Sahid Surakarta University does not have a system for detecting plagiarism of scientific writing automatically. The aims of this research is to make an analysis of plagiarism detection system of scientific writing, especially Final Project or Thesis of students Sahid SurakartaUniversity. Analysis of this system used PIECES method which consists of six elements: Performance, Information, Economy, Control, Efficiency and Services. This result of research is an document analysis of detection system in plagiarism of scientific writing at the Sahid Surakarta University.

Abstract

Mascom computer store is one of the stores that serve to sale and purchase of computers. The process in selling notebook, process there is a problem in the service tothe customer. The officer find difficulty in selling notebook to work customer questions that are ambiguous. Of the handle the problem in answering customer questions uses fuzzy logic. The uses fuzzy logic based on, the concept of fuzzy logic, is easy to understand , very flexible logic , on has the tolerance of unpropriate among other. Inthis final project development system of waterfall method un structure based design is used. Decision support system was made by using Visual Basic 6. This decision support system helps in notebook selling that are ambigious becomes easier to understand for the customer. This result of final project is application that can be used by Mascom in decesing notebook for customer.

Abstract

Sat Tahti (Force of Detainees and Evidence) at Polres Boyolali which has the task to manage the evidence in this case a vehicle, provide information about the vehicleseized and prepare for the service to society. Sat Tahti has provided a media that can provide information to the public but tht application is difficult to operate and there isno provided media of communication between the user. So it is necessary to develop the ease of operation and the addition of the communication media between the community and police. The methods used for data collection is observation, interview, and literature. Analysis of the data used is DAD (Data Flow Diagram). The Development method iswaterfall. Assessment is the method of five view. Final results can be explained as follows: (1) Simplify Sat Tahti manage data evidence the vehicle. (2) Provide ease of data retrieval based on the vehicle license plate number of the vehicle. (3) With the development of these applications can improve the communication between the community and police through the medium of communication provided.

Abstract

A university is present in the community to assume the function of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, which is the function of Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. In order for Universities to be in direct contact with the community through the practice of science and technology, then the activities of community service must be done. Program of Community Service (Abdimas) is not only done by lecturers, but also students who are concrete tangible Real Work Lecture (KKN).KKN program at the Institute of Science & Technology AKPRIND Yogyakarta, as well as efforts to improve empathy and awareness of students in the community andapply science, especially science and technology in the midst of society. The process of implementing this KKN also get guidance from lecturers. In the guidance of this KKN,lecturers also play a role in the implementation of community service. With the involvement of this lecturer is expected to implement KKN can run in accordance withthe policy of the Institute. As the implementation of community service, especially at the location of KKN Sendang Tirto Berbah Sleman District, KKN team and lecturers provide science andtechnology themed training. The training provided includes a water rocket targeted at the children's participants and the manufacture of a meteor breaker. Besides that, also given counseling related to the environment.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is an intrakurikuler activity that combines Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi implementation to provide stock to students in the form oflearning experiences and community empowerment. KKN is a vehicle for the application and development of science, technology and arts, carried out outside thecampus, in time, working mechanisms, and certain requirements. KKN program at the Institut Sains & Teknologi AKPRIND Yogyakarta, as well as efforts to improve empathyand awareness of students in the community and apply science, especially science and technology in the midst of society. The process of implementing KKN also get guidance from lecturers. In the guidance of this KKN, lecturers also play a role in the implementation of community service. With the involvement of this lecturer is expectedto implement KKN can run in accordance with the policy of the Institute. Implementation of KKN is done by Gedong Kuning with work program to improve human resource skill to support entrepreneurship interest. Hopefully this program can be implemented well by the community to reduce unemployment and increase income.

Abstract

In 2016, Sahid Surakarta University uses internet access with bandwidth capacity of 15 Mbps, it is obtained from the internet service provider (ISP) and uses Mikrotik Router as a server. Through bandwidth capacity increasing, the allocation for computer laboratory also increased to 2 Mbps so it needs proper bandwidth management that the distribution of bandwidth separates all the computers at the computer laboratory equally. The methods of the research were observation, interview, and review the literatures before implementation. This research was carried out for comparative analysis of two queuing technique. They are Simple Queue and Queue Tree with Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) system. Besides the implementation uses Mikrotik Router OS, the comparison was performed based on four parameters of Quality of Service (QoS) in TIPHON standard, they are throughput, delay , jitter, and packet loss. Tests was performed by 5 client with 5 times of testing for each client. Data collecting was implemented to determine the value of the QoS parameters by Wireshark Network Analyzer when download and upload data simultaneously on an FTP server using FileZilla Client. The results Simple Queue and Queue Tree when uploading data produces a satisfactory value with the index 3.5. Throughput value for Simple Queue and Queue Tree is 75%. Simple Queue has the advantage on delay and jitter parameters, it is 55.11 ms (Simple Queue) than 55.47 ms (Queue Tree) for delay and 55.10 ms (Simple Queue) than 55.46 ms (Queue Tree) for jitter. The results queuing system when download is higher than the upload that is 3.75. It includes a category satisfying. Simple Queue has an advantage in throughput (84%), delay (28.72 ms), and jitter (28.72 ms), Queue Tree has a throughput value (81%), delay (29.72 ms), and jitter (29 , 72 ms).
