Abstract

AbstractThe digital era requires us to always be creative and innovative. As an educator, we must also be creative and innovative to find new innovations in learning. One of the innovations in learning is by utilizing the Google Docs application. This paper is based on classroom action research on the use of the Google Docs application to support the use of Peer-Review technique in writing for English department students of Widya Dharma University of Klaten. The results of the study show that the Peer-Review technique by utilizing the Google Docs application in writing can 1) train students to think critically, observantly, and thoroughly when reviewing their friends’ writing which can automatically improve their own writing skills; 2) increase the ability to collaborate and work together to have global competitiveness in the 21st century; 3) motivate students to be active in completing writing assignments; 4) make learning in the classroom more meaningful by creating a more lively classroom situation; 5) make students feel more enjoying and active in writing; 6) save paper usage; 7) provide allowance to students for whenever and wherever they want to review the writing of their friends without having to be bound by time and place when learning to write in class; 8) can boost the sharpness of student analysis so that it can be used also in other fields of study.Keywords: Peer-Review Technique, Google Docs Application, Writing Skills  AbstrakEra digital menuntut kita untuk selalu berinovasi dan mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan yang ada. Sebagai seorang pendidik, kita juga harus selalu kreatif dan inovatif untuk mencari inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu inovasi dalam pembelajaran adalah dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Google Docs. Makalah ini berdasarkan penelitian tindakan kelas tentang pemanfaatan aplikasi Google Docs untuk mendukung penggunaan teknik Peer-Review dalam pembelajaran menulis mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas Widya Dharma Klaten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan  teknik Peer-Review dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi Google Docs dalam pembelajaran menulis dapat 1) melatih mahasiswa untuk berfikir kritis, jeli, dan teliti saat menelaah tulisan temannya yang secara otomatis dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis mereka sendiri; 2) meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan bekerja sama agar memiliki daya saing global di abad ke-21; 3) memotivasi mahasiswa untuk aktif dalam menyelesaikan tugas menulis; 4) membuat pembelajaran di kelas menjadi lebih berarti dengan menciptakan situasi di kelas lebih hidup; 5) membuat mahasiswa merasa lebih menikmati dan aktif pada pembelajaran menulis; 6) menghemat penggunaan kertas; 7) memberikan kelonggaran kepada mahasiswa untuk kapanpun dan dimanapun mereka ingin mereview tulisan temannya tanpa harus terikat waktu dan tempat saat pembelajaran menulis di kelas; serta 8) dapat mendongkrak ketajaman analisis mahasiswa sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan pula pada bidang-bidang kajian lain.Kata kunci: Teknik Peer-Review, Aplikasi Google Docs, Kemampuan Menulis

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to analyze the increasing of the teachers’ pedagogical competencies in designing the enrichment program through academic supervision with self assessment on the second semester of the 2018/2019 year academic. This research is a School Action Research (SAR). The location of this research is Elementary School of 4 Jiken, Sub district of Jiken, Regency of Blora. The time of this research is early the first Semester of the 2018/2019 year academic. The subjects of this research are six class teachers (CT) and three subject teachers (ST). Technique of collecting data of this research is non test technique. The instruments of collecting data of this research are the sheets of self assessment, the sheets of observation and documentation. Technique of analyzing data of this research is comparative description. The procedure of this research is using Cycle Model. This research is going on two cycles. The results of this research are 1) pedagogical competencies in designing the enrichment program are increasing lack of competent category (D) become competent category (B) dan pedagogical competencies in designing the enrichment program including in competent category are increasing from 0% on the Early Condition become 22,23% on the First Cycle and 88,88% on the Second Cycle.Keywords: Pedagogical Competencies, The Enrichment Program, Academic Supervision, Self AssessmentAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik merancang program pengayaan Guru SDN 4 Jiken melalui supervisi akademik teknik penilaian diri sendiri Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS). Tempat penelitian di SDN 4 Jiken, Kecamatan Jiken, Kabupaten Blora. Waktu penelitian pada awal Semester II Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019. Subjek penelitian adalah enam Guru Kelas (GK) dan tiga Guru Pelajaran (GP). Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan teknik nontes. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan lembar penilaian diri sendiri, lembar pengamatan dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah deskriptif komparatif. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan Model Siklus. Penelitian selama dua siklus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) kompetensi pedagogik merancang program pengayaan meningkat dari kategori kurang berkompeten (D) menjadi kategori berkompeten (B) dan 2) kompetensi pedagogik merancang program pengayaan yang termasuk kategori berkompeten (B) meningkat dari 0% pada Kondisi Awal menjadi 22,23% pada Siklus I dan 88,88% pada Siklus II. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi Pedagogik, Program Pengayaan, Supervisi Akademik, Penilaian Diri Sendiri.

Abstract

The government has a strong comitment to increase the quality and welfare for teachers. Therefore, Pendidikan Profesi Guru program (Teachers Profession Education) is conducted by Lembaga Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan both public and private which must be given permition by the government. This policy, however, is a time bomb because it still brings a high requirement in the implementation for private LPTK, especially for the quality  and the academic position of the teachers. The quota for the participants is also limited by the government. Therefore for private LPTK which finds it difficult to meet the requirements will be left by the public. Abstract

AbstractIn the Unit Level curriculum Mathematics education needs to be given to all students starting from elementary school to equip students with the ability to think logically, analytically, systematically, critically, and creatively, and the ability to cooperate. The purpose of this study is to increase the activity and student learning outcomes through the Cooperative type STAD learning model. This research is a classroom action research that uses data collection methods with Milles and Hubberman interactive models including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate an increase in activity in students from 63,21% in the first cycle to 84,28% in the second cycle. The development of activity followed by the development of student learning outcomes reached KKM from 30.43% pre cycle, increased 65.22% in cycle one and 91.30% in cycle two. Based on data analysis, it shows that the indicator of success has been achieved in the second cycle, after achieving the indicator of success that is equal to ≥ 80%, and the average learning outcomes have been above the specified minimum completeness ratio (70).Keywords: Cooperative, Method of teaching, STAD Abstrak Dalam kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan  mata pelajaran Matematika perlu diberikan kepada semua peserta didik mulai dari sekolah dasar untuk membekali peserta didik dengan kemampuan berpikir logis, analitis, sistematis, kritis, dan kreatif, serta kemampuan bekerjasama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan model interaktif Milles dan Hubberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan kenaikan keaktifan pada siswa dari 63,21% pada siklus satu menjadi 84,28% pada siklus dua. Perkembangan keaktifan diikuti dengan perkembangan hasil belajar siswa mencapai KKM dari 30,43% pra siklus, meningkat 65,22% pada siklus satu dan 91,30% pada siklus dua. Berdasarkan analisis data, menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan telah tercapai pada siklus kedua, setelah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yaitu sebesar ≥ 80%, dan rata-rata hasil belajar sudah di atas riteria kelengkapan minimum yang ditentukan (70).Kata Kunci : Kooperatif, STAD, Metode mengajar

Abstract

ABSTRACTSlang is a part of sociolinguistic and slang it self elaborated in a social life of human being. Slang ussualy used by a person or a group in dialy life to interact each other. As a person who learn English, word of slang may hard to understand by a non native speakers. Movie with English language where ussualy have content of sociolinguistic like a slang phenomena. Hence, the aims of this research to find out the kind of slang in areas in everyday life in 8 Mile movie.This research was conducted and the method of the research study used qualitative method. The data was collected through watch the movie, read the script of the movie, determining the character which will be analyzed, making notes for aspect in slang language elaborated by some events eses by main character which contained in the movie, classifying the aspects in slang language elaborated by some events and effects related slang language uses by major character which contained in the movie.The results of the research showed the kind of slang in 8 Mile movie such as insult, the human body, sex, work, euphemisms, relationships,  and  unemployment  slang.  The  result  of  each  slang  is  insult  slang  16  words, relationships slang 6 words, the human body 1 word, euphemisms 2 words, unemployment 1 words, sex 3 words and work slang 1 words the total of the slang was Jimmy utered in 8 Mile movie is 30 words. Key words: Slang; 8 Mile movie, Qualitative method, Sociolinguistic study, Slang in 8 Mile movie, Slang in area of everyday life  ABSTRAKBahasa gaul adalah bagian dari sosiolinguistik dan bahasa gaul itu dielaborasi dalam kehidupan sosial manusia. Slang biasanya digunakan oleh seseorang atau kelompok dalam kehidupan dialy untuk berinteraksi satu sama lain. Sebagai orang yang belajar bahasa Inggris, kata slang mungkin sulit dimengerti oleh penutur asli. Film dengan bahasa Inggris dimana biasanya memiliki konten sosiolinguistik seperti fenomena gaul. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis bahasa gaul dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam film 8 Mile. Penelitian ini dilakukan dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui menonton film, membaca skrip film, menentukan karakter yang akan dianalisis, membuat catatan untuk aspek dalam bahasa gaul yang diuraikan oleh beberapa peristiwa oleh karakter utama yang terkandung dalam film, mengklasifikasikan aspek dalam bahasa gaul bahasa yang dielaborasi oleh beberapa peristiwa dan efek terkait bahasa slang digunakan oleh karakter utama yang terkandung dalam film tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jenis slang dalam film 8 Mile seperti penghinaan, tubuh manusia, seks, pekerjaan, eufemisme, hubungan, dan gaul pengangguran. Hasil dari setiap gaul adalah penghinaan gaul 16 kata, hubungan gaul 6 kata, tubuh manusia 1 kata, eufemisme 2 kata, pengangguran 1 kata, seks 3 kata dan kerja gaul 1 kata total gaul yang diucapkan Jimmy dalam film 8 Mile adalah 30 kata. Kata kunci: Slang; Film 8 Mile, Metode Kualitatif, Studi Sosiolinguistik, Slang in 8 Mile film, Slang di bidang kehidupan sehari-hari

Abstract

The problem of this research is “Can study group guidance improve the study result ofSocial Studies of the fourth grade students in SDN 01 Suruh Tasikmadu Karanganyar semester IIin the academic year of 2014/2015”The purpose of this research is to improve the study result of Social Studies through studygroup guidance method with the material is ethnic group and cultura variety to the fourth gradestudents in SDN 01 Suruh Tasikmadu Karangnayr semester II in the academic year of 2014/2015.The kind of this research is Classroom Action Reseacrh with the subject the fourth gradestudents in SDN 01 Suruh Tasikmadu Karanganyar semester II in the academic year of2014/2015. This grade consists of 34 students, this research was carried out for about 3 months,from February until April 2015. This research includes 3 cycles. The data collecting method inthis research is test and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is qualitativedescriptive technique for 3 cycles.The result of this research concludes that study group guidance can improve the studyresult of Social Studies of the fourth grade students in SDN 01 Suruh Tasikmadu Karanganyarsemester II in the academic year of 2014/2015. It can be seen from the score of study result ofsocial studies in the pre and post research that improve in every cycle as well as the indikatordetermined. In the pre research, the score average score is 64, cycle 1 is 68, 72 in cycle II, and82 in cycle 3.Key words: Study group guidance, Study result, Social Studies

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology is simultaneous witheducation in Indonesia. The material taught is not interesting if it is only what it is in thetextbooks. Learning resources for primary education should be presented by using the mediathat invites the students to get closer to the environment. The use of the image to explain thecontent of the material is one of the alternatives. The Purpose of this community serviceprogram was to deliver insight and skill like portable application usage such as Flip BookMaker and Comic Life for creating photonovela media to elementary school teachers. Thisoutreach was conducted at SDN Prawit I no. 69. The method of implementation of communityservice include: 1) preparation, 2) implementation of training includes the presentation of thematerial, practice assignments, evaluation activities, and reflection and closure activities.External Targets expected are primary school teachers who follow the making of photonovelamedia training can apply them yourself on the material to be taught to learners, and todocument them in the form of a CD to be used to teach the next. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to know whether there is a correlation between negative self concept with sosial anxiety to students grade X MIPA at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the 2017/2018 academic year. The population in this research was all students grade X MIPA of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the 2017/2018 academic year with the total number was 165 students Simple random sampling was used as sample with total number was 65 students. In collecting the data used questionnaire and documentation. Questionnare was used to get the data about negative self concept and social anxiety. Whereas, documentation was used to get the students name who became respondent in this research. The technique of data analysis was product moment correlation.Based on the data analysis, it was obtained that the r-count=0,617 next the score of r-count was consulted with r-table product moment with N=65 and the significance level 5% ans 1% was 0.244 and 0.317. Based on the data analysis r-count was high than r-table or 0.244<0.617>0.317. So, the null hypothesis or Ho is rejected and the working hypothesis or Ha accepted. The truth that is “There is positive correlation an significance between negative self-concept with social anxiety to student grade X MIPA at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the 2017/2018 academic year, is accepted in significance level 5% and 1%.Keyword: Correlation, Negative Self-Concept, Social Anxiety. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara konsep diri negatif dengan kecemasan sosial pada siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 165 siswa, sampel penelitian menggunakan Simple Random Sampling sejumlah 65 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Metode angket dipergunakan guna memperoleh data tentang konsep diri negatif dan kecemasan sosial. Sedangkan metode dokumentasi digunakan guna memperoleh data nama siswa yang akan menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai r hitung yaitu sebesar 0,617 selanjutnya nilai r hitung tersebut dikonsultasikan dengan r tabel product moment dengan N = 65 dan taraf signifikasi 5% dan 1% yaitu 0,244 dan 0,317 ternyata hasil analisis data yang diperoleh r hitung lebih besar dari r tabel atau 0,244 < 0,617 > 0,317. Dengan demikian hipotesis nihil atau Ho ditolak dan hipotesis kerja atau Ha diterima kebenarannya yaitu “Ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri negatif dengan kecemasan sosial pada siswa kelas X MIPA SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018”, diterima kebenarannya baik pada taraf signifikasi 5% dan 1%.Kata kunci: Hubungan, Konsep Diri Negatif, Kecemasan Sosial.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to improve students' ability in describing physical condition of area andcitizen through cooperative learning at the eighth I grade of SMP Negeri 26 Surakarta in the academicyear of 2015/2016.The method of the research is a classroom action research. The source of the data acquired fromthe students, the teacher, interaction among them, and in the classroom. The method of collecting the dataused tests and observation. To check data validity, she used investigator triangulation. Meanwhile, thetechnique of analyzing the data used critical descriptive analysis. The procedure of the research isthrough two cycles, and every cycle consists of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting.The result of the research showed that achievement of the students improved. In fact, from 27students, 5 students (29.02%) completed the achievement and 22 students (70.98%) did not complete, sothe mean score was 61.73. In the cycle one, there were 10 students (53.42%) who completed theachievement, and 17 students (46.58) did not complete, so the mean score was 68.15. In the cycle two, thestudents completed the achievement (100%) so the meanscore was 76.88. Therefore, based on the result ofthe research, it could be concluded that learning through cooperative learning can improve theachievement in using the teaching material "physical condition of area and citizen" at the eighth l gradestudents of SMP negeri 26 in the academic year of 2015/2016Keywords: Norms, Optimalizing, Cooperative Learning

Abstract

The purposes of this reasearch are 1) describing the efforts of increasing the elementary school of Turusgede teachers pedagogic competence at the first semester of 2018/2019 academic year in opening and closing the learning by using the self assessment technique and 2) analysing the increase of the elementary school of Turusgede teachers pedagogic competence at the first semester of 2018/2019 academic year in opening and closing the learning by using the self assessment technique. This research is School Action Research (SAR). This research is taken palce in elementary school of Turusgede, Subdistrict of Rembang, Regency of Rembang. The time of this research is the early-middle first semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The subjects of this research are teachers in the elementary school of Turusgede, Subdistrict of Rembang, Regency of Rembang, consist of twelve teachers. The data of this research is teachers pedagogic competence in opening and closing the learning. The techniques of collecting data are using nontest technique and test technique. The tools of collecting data are using the sheets of observation, camera application on hand phone and the form of self assessment. The technique of analizing data in this research is decriptive comparation. The procedure of this research is using Cycle Model, consist of four steps: planning, action, observation and reflection. Each cycle is going on one week. The results of this research are 1) the academic supervision with self assessment technique is previously sharing the form of self assessment to the subjects of this research, 2) self assessment technique is self assessment according to the next theme and matter, 3) self assessment technique is self assessment after the learning finish and 4) teachers pedagogic competence with self assessment technique is increasing and including good category (B) that according with the result of observation and including very good category (A) that according with the result of self assessment. Key words: Pedagogic, Supervision, Self Assessment Technique.
