Abstract

Employee salary increases are common and have become a right of employees that must be fulfilled by the company if they do their job well. However, in this matter, it is not easy for companies to determine which employees will receive their salary increases. One of them is the Alpha company which has problems in determining employee salary increases which are still carried out without a calculation process so that there is a gap between employees. Therefore, an effective and fast Decision Support System is needed to determine decisions by applying the TOPSIS method as the basis for calculating the decision results.  To assess this system, functional testing has been carried out on the Alpha company and obtained a result of 84.67% showing transparency in determining employee salary increases.

Abstract

Purwodadi Town is one of the areas of Central Java, every time it rains some places will be flooded. And the heavy and long-lasting rainfall resulted in flooding. Floods cause losses for affected communities and damage existing infrastructure. One solution is to make an early warning system for flood disasters, the researchers designed a device based on the nodemcu microcontroller and used telegram as a notification. The researcher applies the prototype method to analyze all the needs starting from the input, output and interface description, then do the design. The results of this study are an early flood hazard detection system with telegram notifications that can be accessed through a website with various features, namely real-time water level information, graphical water level reports, and additional users to get notifications. The prototype produced from this research, the public can know whether a flood occurs or not so that they can anticipate before the flood occurs

Abstract

Marketplace allows Customer to Customer (C2C) transactions between consumers without being bound by place and time. This change also occurs in human spending habits. So it becomes an opportunity for sellers to market their wares. In facing market competition, business people also need analysis to find out what products are selling best. However, there are many factors that affect the complexity of the marketplace in Indonesia. Then a classification-based simulation using KNN and C4.5 is needed, where the weight of each sales product group affects market potential so that it benefits sellers to choose which marketplace is suitable for the goods to be sold. So it can be concluded that (1). Factors that influence the complexity of marketplaces in Indonesia are price, number of sales, discounts, ratings and reviews. (2). The most optimal method used for analysis of sales market potential is K-Nearest Neighbor and C4.5.

Abstract

Decision-making is sometimes often wrong so it can harm certain parties. If the decisions taken are very strategic, you can imagine the losses that will result from these decisions. The Al-Hikmah Mosque, which is located at the Taman Hangtuah Legenda Malaka Batam Center housing complex, is currently experiencing a muezzin vacancy. Al-Hikmah Mosque itself has held a selection for the muezzin. From the selection results, the five best people were obtained. Of the five best people, one will be selected and meets the criteria. The purpose of this research is to make it easier for the Al-Hikmah mosque to make decisions to get the best of the best muezzins. In addition, the mosque can also get choices if the first choice resigns. In this study, the method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) where all participants who meet the criteria will be ranked. The results of the ranking, who were selected to be the best muezzin with the best value or rank were Mr. Abdul Hafiz with a score of 0.845, and Mr. Ihsan as the second alternative with a value of 0.7925. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining the best muezzin has a high degree of accuracy. This can prevent discrimination because the election system is based on logically processed data so that all participants can accept the results obtained.

Abstract

The high incidence of death caused by coronary heart disease has become a global concern in the world of health, where patients with coronary heart disease are no longer only adults and the elderly, yet there are now so many cases of coronary heart disease experienced by underage patients. As a result, it is critical to be able to prevent and reduce the number of instances. One of them is the ability to predict a person's risk of coronary heart disease so that patients can be treated and provided early therapy. The risk of coronary heart disease will be predicted in this study utilizing Stacked long short-term memory algorithms. By appling this algorithm, the accuracy of 81.3% from previous study can be increased to 91.8% by this study.

Abstract

Serdang Dam is one of the water resource dams managed by the Regional Office of the Sumatra II River Basin, which is a technical implementing unit of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing located in North Sumatra Province. Asset management at Serdang Dam has been done manually through recording and bookkeeping, which are then inputted into a document file. This system has several shortcomings, including difficulties in tracing asset information in each activity and the lack of a basis for asset depreciation and acquisition calculations, resulting in suboptimal asset management processes. To overcome these issues, research will be conducted to facilitate the management of Serdang Dam assets by developing an asset management information system using the Straight Line and Simple Additive Weighting methods. The findings of this research will provide a solution to the existing problems by creating a system that can assist in managing Serdang Dam assets in all its activities.

Abstract

Today, with the presence of digital technology, UMKM actors in Indonesia have numerous opportunities to create job opportunities and expand their businesses to the global market. However, not all UMKM actors in Indonesia have sufficient understanding and knowledge of the current digital technology being used. This research aims to design a system that can assist UMKM actors to increasing their product sales volume by developing an effective and efficient web-based application for selecting promotional media for UMKM. The testing of the UMKM AHP Application system, based on a black box method, is conducted to identify any potential issues in the application and ensure its readiness for publication. This testing covers various pages such as Criteria page, Alternative page, AHP Preference Value page, Criteria Analysis page, Alternative Analysis page, Ranking Report page, Report page, Profile page, and Logout page.

Abstract

This research aims to gather the necessary information to build a conceptual model that will be used to measure the success of online learning implemented in higher education institutions. The methodology used in this study is a literature review conducted by comparing various sources such as scientific journals, books, and expert opinions to support the findings. This research employs a quantitative method, where data can be interpreted using statistical analysis, making the quantitative approach more objective, scientific, and rational. The conclusion of this research is a conceptual model that implements the relationship between system quality, service quality, system usage, and user satisfaction with the benefits of e-learning. Furthermore, future related studies can refer to this conceptual model in their implementation.

Abstract

The economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic is becoming increasingly challenging. According to several experts, a global recession is expected to occur in 2023, necessitating contributions from various fields of knowledge to address this situation. Machine learning is one method that can contribute by forecasting stock price movements. This research attempts to address the issues faced by traders in observing the potential movement of BBRI stock under the recession issue in 2023. Furthermore, this study uses linear regression and Bayesian regression methods to find the best model. By using six-month stock data of BBRI, with attributes such as open, high, low, and close as prediction targets, it is found that the model built using linear regression outperforms Bayesian regression. Based on the testing results, the linear regression model achieved a Dstat of 80% and an RMSE of 595.30, while the Bayesian regression model obtained a Dstat of 80% but a higher RMSE of 660.58. Based on the modeling results in this study, it is concluded that in the first semester of 2023, BBRI stock is still moving upward and is not affected by the recession issue in 2023.

Abstract

Agriculture is an important sector in Indonesia. Farming are how most people make a living within the population [1]. Currently, access to consult with agricultural experts is something that farmers don't have as a privilege. The combination of technology and agriculture needs to be developed to make it easier for farmers to consult. Botani Mobile Apps is an Android-based application that has been developed by the Faculty of Agriculture UB. The purpose of this application is to facilitate farmers in agricultural cultivation. User experience is how a person feels when using a product, system, or service [2]. User experience evaluation needs to be done to measure the success of a product design and to get user feedback for further improvement. One method of evaluating user experience is UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire). Evaluation of user experience of the Botanical mobile application using UEQ will be discussed in this study. Based on the results of the UEQ that have been carried out, the 26 questions asked had an average value of more than 1. After grouping the questions on the 6 UEQ Scale, the average results of calculation showed that all scales are in the green area. Based on UEQ characteristics, the highest scores were Attractiveness, Pragmatic and Hedonic qualities, respectively. All the results of the characteristic values were more than 1. Based on the Benchmark calculation, showed that the Attractiveness, Efficiency, Dependability and Novelty scales had good scale results and the Perspicuity and Novelty scales got above average scale results. Based on all the results of the UEQ evaluation, it can be concluded that the user experience on the BOTANI application is good.
