Abstract

Pompa rangkaian seri paralel merupakan rangkaian pompa yang di gunakan untuk memindahkan zat cair bertekanan rendah ke tekanan yang lebih tinggi. Dimana pada alat untuk sistem rangkaian seri dan paralel masih sangat rumit serta pengambilan data karena alat ukur terutama yang kurang baik. Untuk itu di buatlah teknologi terbaru dengan menambahkan microcontroller sebagai pengatur system pengambilan data ,sehingga meminimalisir kerugian dalam pengambilan data meliputi tekanan, kapasitas  serta effisiensi pompa rangkaian seri paralel. Dimana hasil pengujian perbandingan head dan kapasitas pompa rangkaian seri didapatakan  bahwa  pada pompa rangkain seri berbanding terbalik dengan pompa rangkain paralel  dimana pompa rangkaian seri nilai head lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kapasitas (Q). Dimana head terkecil terdapat pada bukaan katup 90° yaitu 7,06152 mH2O pada kapasitas 3,74 x 10-4 m3/s  dan head terbesar terdapat pada pembukaan katup 30° yaitu 11,2939 mH2O pada kapasitas 3,25 x 10-4 m3/s. Sedangkan . pada pompa rangkaian paralel nilai kapasitas lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai kapasitas (Q) pompa rangkain seri  dimana nilai kapasitas terkecil pada bukaan katup 30° yaitu 6,501 x 10-4 m3/s  pada head 5,9604 mH2O dan kapasitas terbesar terdapat pada bukaan katup 90° yaitu 7,52 x 10-4 m3/s  pada head 3,81 mH2O. Pada perbandingan effisiensi dengan kapasitas, pompa rangkaian seri lebih rendah dibandingakan dengan effisiensi pompa paralel  dimana nilai effisiensi pompa seri tertinggi 10,9% pada kapasitas 3,25 x 10-4 m3/s dan effisiensi tertinggi pompa paralel 11,5% pada kapasitas 6,50 x 10-4 m3/s dimana semakin besar nilai kapasitas suatu aliran fluida maka semakin besar pula nilai effisiensi suatu pompa tersebut.

Abstract

Daihatsu Feroza vehicle is one type of official vehicle that is still used to support basic tasks in the ranks of the Army. This vehicle is one of the vehicles that wasteful of fuel. This is influenced by the fuel system used is the conventional fuel system. To overcome this, modifications are made to the fuel system of the feroza service vehicles using a fuel injection system that is more fuel efficient. Testing using the fuel injection system has decreased compared to by using a conventional fuel system at engine power and engine thermal efficiency. From the analysis it was concluded that the effective power and efficiency of the engine produced using the injection system is smaller than using conventional systems. Power at 1800 rpm engine speed uses an injection system that is 210 Nm with a thermal efficiency of 42.97% and uses a conventional system that is 240 Nm with a thermal efficiency of 48.20%.

Abstract

This study aims to find the value of the L/D gradient ratio, the value of the compression ratio of thick thickness (λ) and roundness value. The method used in this study is an experiment with data collection on; spindle speed (n), cutting depth (a), angle (α), and tool corner radius (nsr) vary. The results achieved at an L/D ratio of 3.28, cutting depth (a) 0.6 mm, spindle rotation (n) 250 rpm, tool corner radius (nsr) 0.2 mm and a sharpness angle of 2.5˚ experienced compression ratio the largest thick thickness (λ) is 2.53, while at the 2.62 L/D ratio, the cutting depth (a) 0.2 mm, spindle rotation (n) 500 rpm, tool corner radius (nsr) 0.2 mm and the steepness angle of 2.5˚ experiences the lowest compression ratio of thick thickness (λ) of 0.53. With a large compression ratio of thick fur (λ) the roundness value will also be large, in the compression ratio of thick thickness (λ) 2.53 get a roundness value of 1.3 µm. While the lowest roundness value of 0.5 μm occurs in the compression ratio of thick thickness (λ) 0.53.

Abstract

In the industrial world the use of centrifugal pumps is often used to distribute water that is to support the smooth running of industrial processes or to cool a machine. Centrifugal pumps have a very broad scope of use with the head and the resulting capacity is very large and varied. In this final project, a centrifugal pump with a capacity of 30 m3 / hour, a pump head of 10 meters, a shaft rotation of 1500 rpm and a pressure difference of 10 bar in and out is planned. In the planning of centrifugal pumps, CF Turbo 10.2 software is used. Fluid is water ("Water") with a temperature of 200 C. Specific gravity of 1 kg / dm3. The output of the software includes blade diameter, shape, number of blades and geometric representation of blades. In planning this centrifugal pump as a comparison material, the specifications of the centrifugal pump are available. 5-level centrifugal pump is planned, each level has a head of 10 meters, a discharge of 30 m3/hour.

Abstract

The rapid development of the industry gave rise to better technological innovations to develop the quality capacity of a production. Jig fixture is a production tool used in the manufacturing process, so that accurate part duplication is produced. Jigs fixture specifically designed to facilitate the setup of materia; which ensures uniformity in the shape and size of products in large quantities (mass products), and commemorate the time of production [2-4]. Jig fixture functions to hold and direct the workpiece, so that the manufacturing process is more efficient and product quality can be maintained as specified quality. Rong and Zhu (1999) in Ahmad Rizki (2003) state that an object consists of several surface surfaces. In the use of a fixture, the placement process (locating) is the process of placing multiple surfaces of a workpiece until it touches the locator, which is then followed by the clamping process of the workpiece that comes in contact with the locator called a locating surface. In a workpiece there are 6 degrees of freedom (degree of freedom) of movement, ie linear motion in the direction or counterclockwise with the X, Y, Z axis and rotational movements towards the X, Y, and Z axis in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

Abstract

The cooling system at work of a gasoline engine functions as a protective engine by absorbing heat. Engine heat is produced from combustion of fuel in the cylinder. The heat is something that is deliberately created to produce energy, but if left unchecked will cause excessive heat (over heating effect). Excessive heat is the cause of changing mechanical properties as well as the shape of the engine components. The purpose of the study was to determine the temperature of the cooling water on the convector / radiator on the convector / radiator on the ferroza official car that has been modified using a multi point injection system. This cooling system does work simultaneously with the combustion system, so as to produce engine work which is the output of the engine. The cooling system is a support system of engine work. The system is not the main system that is the basis of the engine  to do work and effort, but both systems have a very vital function.

Abstract

Ceiling installation auxiliary tool is auxiliary tool for installing a ceiling with a simple method. Namely by placing the ceiling above the cross section and moving the gears to the ceiling can reach the desired height. This auxiliary tool is needed to help to lighten the workload and save the ceiling installation time. This auxiliary tool can reach places or rooms that have narrow access, because this tool can be dismantled pairs. This tool can hold the user load up to 80 kg and the weight of the ceiling up to 47.3 kg, so the total weight reached 127.3 kg. This auxiliary tool has four pedestal wheels that can move as desired.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much capacity that could have produced a conveyor according to the rpm speed of the motor and conveyor dimensions as well as to  determine the selection of the components that are used as system power supplier. This research was carried out based on the calculation of the design of conveyor design guide book and catalogue containing components of belt conveyor. Results of the design  is to be used as a guide for designing a conveyor to transport box containing intravenous fluids in PT XY. After the design resulted in two conveyors with 22.5 m long dimension, 40 cm wide belt and 0.5 m / s speed with inclination angle of 300 and 250. The conveyor has a carrying capacity of 300 boxes / hour (4.3 ton / jam). For power supply systems used 1.5 kw AC motor, WPX 80 type gearbox reducer ratio 1:10 s / d 1:60, S 400/4 type belt, drive pulley ???? 500 mm, roller idler ???? 89 mm, take-up type screws, transition roller chain number 40, number of teeth Z1= 21 and Z2=50, sprocket ???? 90.5 mm and ???? 209.5 mm, SAE type 10 oil (43 cSt, 200 SUS at 37.80C).

Abstract

The use of hydraulic systems for various applications supporting work equipment is very widely used because of the nature and strength of the good and easy in its design. Hydraulic tracking can be widely applied in various needs. The principle of this work tool is designed for the release of bearings / mounting on a shaft or a ball bearing house vertically or horizontally. From the results of the hydraulic tracking planning analysis using solid works software, in this simulation to find static nodal stress (the received tensile strength) obtained the highest load is shown in the orange part of the tool with a stress value of 17.49 million N / m2, the load experienced is only 15% of the permitted maximum limit of 24,800,200,000 N / m2.then the strain that occurs in the highest value is shown on a scale with an orange of 0.03946 mm on the upper beam component, that value 1 mm means that the hydraulic frame tracking can be used properly.

Abstract

Compressor is a compressing device or compressing air in other words a compressor is a compressed air generator. Because of the compression process, air has a higher pressure compared to environmental air pressure (1 atm). In this Final Project the compressor is planned with an output pressure of 140 bar, a flow rate of 5000 m3 / hr, 4 levels, a shaft rotation of 15000 rpm. In the compressor planning, TURBO 10 CF software is used. Input from the software is the flow rate and pressure of each level. As output is the impeller diameter, the output pressure of each impeller. Power of each level. The average impeller diameter is 596 mm. The air coming out of each level is cooled. The cooling system is not planned in the final project.
