Abstract

Artisanal fisheries playing an important rule to preserve the economic stability of tradisional fishermans. This type of fisheries are very vulnerable to climate change since the habitat of target fishes are very narrow, area limited, and usually those area are sencitive to the  physical changes of water colomn. One area which is artisanal fisheries can be found broundly and in a huge number was in Fisheries Management Area of 713 (WPP 713) (PERMEN KP No. 18 Tahun 2014). In order to identify the profiles and characters of artisanal fisheries in WPP 713, sampling have been conducted at Paotere fisheries port and Mamuju fisheries port. The results shows that artisanal fisheries in WPP 713 has a character of using several various fishing gear according to their targeted fishes which is also fickle. In other hand, they also has a habit to move their fishing ground from one place to anothers. This profile are a potential to be developed into an adaptation strategy to facing climate change effect of global warming. However the government?s participation become very important on this situation as the authority that managed the fishing gears type, recommending the location and period of fishing ground in order to pursue the sustainable fisheries optimally.

Abstract

Mangrove forests are one of the natural ecosystems that make a large contribution to the population as a food source, one of which is gastropods. The purpose of this study was to determine the density of mangroves, the abundance of gastropods and the discussion between the density of mangroves and the abundance of gastropods. This research was carried out in September - November 2018 in the area of 12 ha KKMB. The research method used was a survey method by conducting direct research on 12 plot points with a plot size of 10 x 10 meters were in each plot there were 3 sub-plots made 1 x 1 meter randomly carried out in the plot to take gastropod samples. The collected data are grouped by type variable, mangrove density as a variable (X) and gastropod abundance as a variable (Y). The results showed that the mangrove yields in the area obtained by KKMB belonged to the very solid (good) category with a value of 11.700 ind / ha. The highest gastropod abundance is dominated by the type of Cassidula aurisfelis with the number of 79 individuals  and the lowest abundance of the type Littoraria scabra with the number of 14 individuals . The low level of gastropod abundance is reduced due to the low density of mangrove species and the low food source in the mangrove area. The relationship of mangrove density with gastropod abundance using simple linear regression analysis obtained the value of determination coefficient (R2) of 0.227, while the coefficient value was 0.4766 which means that it is positively correlated.

Abstract

The amount of capture fisheries production in East Kalimantan according to district/city 2016 is a case study in this study. This paper aims to analyze the existence of spatial autocorrelation in capture fisheries production data in East Kalimantan by the district /city in 2016. The method used to analyze global spatial autocorrelation is the Moran Index method and the Local Spatial Autocorrelation (LISA) indicator to analyze spatially automated correlations local. The results of the analysis are automatic spatial correlation of capture fisheries production in East Kalimantan in 2016. The Moran index score obtained is - 0.322304 which indicates that there is a negative autocorrelation or spread pattern and does not have similar characteristics in adjacent locations. Meanwhile, through LISA, it was concluded that there were no significant district/city groupings. Where there is only Berau affected by other regions with a significant value of 0.1%

Abstract

Sbobet wap was gastropod which is a herbivore. Have a natural habitat in coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific waters. In addition to consumption, shell Sbobet wap. has the highest economic value which caused the demand is high, and resulting the reduction in natural populations. Sbobet wap including one of protected species in Vietnam. Basic information about the ecology and reproductive biology of Sbobet wap can provide the knowledge to assure the survival and availability of these organisms in nature. Sbobet wap plant-eating animals, and eat green plants and red algae (Cyanophycae and Phaeophycae). They also looking in benthic area for diatoms and benthic foraminifera (Asano 1944). The Natural habitat of Sbobet wap in the coral reefs, usually found in the area of reef flat. Maximum density found in reef areas are facing the wind but can also be found on the coral reefs that are at lower limit of the wind, in the intertidal zone and subtidal zone in shallow water (Kitutani and Yamakawa 1999). The maximum depth of Sbobet wap to growing was to 10 m, although they can also be found at a depth of 25 m (Bertram 1998). Sbobet have spawning at the high tide, with external fertilization and performed at night (nocturnal spawning). According to Sims (1988), Sbobet wap approximately three to five times a year. Small Sbobet can growth faster than adults. The higher of Sbobet growth rate is in the dry season (March to October) compared to the rainy season (November to March). Keywords : habitat, feed habit, reproduction, life cycle
