Abstract

Keywords: e-nose, formalin, multivariat

Abstract

Abstract

Fish Siganus (Siganus Sp) is one type of fish that have high economic value, especially rabbitfishes write (Siganus javus) because these fish have a tasty meat flavor and delicious and nutritious because they contain high protein which is around 35% - 46%. By looking at the potential importance of fish Siganus javus so it will need an appropriate management through research on fish Siganus javus order to remain sustainable existence. Research on rabbitfishes has actually done that is about how to feed and cultivation of Siganus javus and Siganus Canaliculatus, but research on aspects of reproductive and morphometric rabbitfishes write (Siganus javus) is rarely done. Fish sampling was conducted from January 2004 until December 2004 by using samples taken from catches of fishermen in the waters around Jepara. This research use descriptive research design. Data collected by sampling. Data obtained from the sampling results is an estimated data (estimate value). Sampling was conducted using a purposive sampling. Based on the analysis of male fish from Demaan village, Jepara, where fish can reach a maximum length (L ∞) equal to 30.409 cm, while for female fish can reach a maximum length (L ∞) equal to 30.054 cm. Achieved by growth in rabbitfishes both male and female writing related to the availability of food in the surrounding waters in Jepara as a feeding ground or select one of the area as a place to seek food from rabbitfishes write (Siganus javus). The availability of adequate food, will make rabbitfishes writing can be grown. For the male fish will run faster growth from the age of 0-150 days, then will run very fast at the age of 150 days to 250 days age. After the age of more than 250 days, the growth in length remained relatively constant or slow down again until it reaches zero at this very old fish. Key words : Ikan Beronang Tulis (Siganus javus), Growth, Von Bertalanffy

Abstract

Brackish water pond is one of human making ecosystem.  Commonly, It’s use for fisheries production especially  shrimp or fishes purporting. In Coastal of North Kalimantan, to running its have been used traditional system.  This system is depending to the natural condition. The good water quality  is one important thing for supporting life in the waters column and management system. This study for management life organisms in pond we must know about water quality in every day for turn of the risk. Daily and weekly observations on water quality in the pond water obtained under unfavorable conditions. This is indicated by dissolved oxygen conditions which tended lower than normal organisms as well as an increase in the content of ammonia in the course of shrimp farming. To further efforts should be made to the improvement of water quality conducted from land preparation.

Abstract

Several years ago since it was first found to play a role in metastasis, Kisspeptin (encoded by Kiss1) that has GPR54 cognitive receptors is known to act as a regulator to initiating reproductive factors, involving GnRH secretion in some vertebrates, including fish. However, each of the other vertebrates will express different kinds of Kisspeptin based on the types and its evolutionary line. The aims of this research is to confirm the Kiss2 type along with the GPR54 receptor on Tilapia. RNA isolation, cDNA cloning and DNA amplification was made from samples of tilapia testes. The DNA amplification result will then be sequenced by MACROGEN. Inc. The amplified results of the Kiss2, GPR54 and β-Actin (positive control) genes observed using agarose gel electrophoresis show the product size of each gene is 199 bp, 155 bp and 197 bp. Confirmation of sequencing results by the BLAST method for Kiss2, GPR54 and β-Actin genes were: 100%, 97% and 100%, respectively. Based on the research, it can be concluded that the results of each target isolated from the gonad of tilapia indicate the homology/similarity of the sample of each target nucleotide sequence with the world database sequence (gene bank). Keywords: Kiss2, GPR54, Reproduction, Nile Tilapia

Abstract

Teleostei Fish, as members of other vertebrates have a body defense system when the body is infected by foreign agents from both types of bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi. Fish has two defense systems that was natural defense system (innate immunity) and the adaptive defense system (adaptive immunity). Major Histo Compatibility (MHC) is a group or complex of genes that play a role in recognition and signaling between immune cells. T cell receptor (TCR) is an antigen that presented by MHC molecules, both MHC class I or class II MHC, to T cells and then bound by a receptor located on the surface of T cells Cytokines are soluble protein mediators (sometimes bound in the cell membrane ) which bind to receptors on cells target and trigger, regulate, or inhibit cellular functions. Detailed knowledge about the molecular expression of immune cells in fish can be used as a basic reference for designing the construction of peptide-based vaccines that are immunogenic and specifically identify a variety of viruses and bacteria that often infects fish. Keywords :            Fish, adaptive immunity, Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC), Reseptor Sel T, Sitokin
