Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of innovation, logistics performance, and human capital on export diversification of the manufacturing industry based on technology intensity in Indonesia. This study uses the method of moments approach with estimation using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM). The research was conducted using dynamic data panels belonging to Indonesia and 30 main export destination countries as research objects. The results show the average Global Innovation Index (GII) of Indonesia and export countries, the average Logistics Performance Index (LPI) of Indonesia and export destination countries, the labor force with intermediate education, labor force with basic education. Indonesia's GDP has a positive and significant effect on the diversification of manufacturing industry commodity exports in Indonesia across all technological intensities. Still, the importers' GDP and exchange rates positively influence the spread of diversification exports of manufactured industrial commodities in Indonesia, but some models show no significant relationship.

Abstract

Indonesian government imposed a social distancing policy in response to the declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemic but still allowed companies to operate their business with several restrictions. As a result, retail companies had to manage their working capital more prudently in order to keep the stability of their business operations. This research aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the working capital management of Indonesian retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results of the current study showed that the COVID-19 pandemic did not affect profitability (measured by return on assets and return on equity) and the working capital management (measured by cash conversion cycle and working capital requirement) of retail companies. However, other proxies of working capital management (i.e., net liquid balance and operating cash flow) were found to be significantly different before COVID-19 and during the pandemic.

Abstract

Technology development is so rapid in the era of society 5.0, one of which is a financial technology company, PT Cicil Solusi Mitra Teknologi. In 2019-2021, PT Cicil Solusi Mitra Teknologi experienced a decrease in revenue, so the company must maintain its existence by using the right marketing strategy to increase its revenue. In addition, the coverage is still at 62,24% for cities and 10,82% for campuses in Indonesia that have just accessed it. This study analyses the right marketing strategy recommended to companies to overcome these problems. This research uses SOAR methods and the QSPM matrix to produce several alternative marketing strategies. The results of this study obtained an alternative strategy with the highest TAS score of 3,03, which is routinely holding attractive discount promotions at certain events regularly both to prospective users, users, and special members and maximizing to increase student interest in getting to know services and transacting in the future and this strategy becomes a top priority to be recommended in PT Cicil Solusi Mitra Teknologi.

Abstract

The Correctional Division of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights DI Yogyakarta is divided into several Correctional Unit Pelaksana Teknis Yogyakarta consists of 5 units, namely Yogyakarta Class IIA Prison, Yogyakarta Class IIA Women's Prison, Yogyakarta Class IIA State Detention Center, Class I State Confiscated Goods Storage House. The sample in this study was 120 employees, who were recruited using a sampling technique with probability sampling and a stratified random sampling method. The findings revealed that training and transformational leadership positively and significantly affected job satisfaction and performance. Job satisfaction served as a moderating variable between training and transformational leadership on performance. According to the findings of this study, Unit Pelaksana Teknis Yogyakarta can improve training and transformational leadership to increase job satisfaction and employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to explain consumer buying behaviour on the Internet in three dimensions: shopping lifestyle, social influence, and unplanned purchases that influence consumer intentions to buy used clothes online on Facebook—conducted this research in the city of Kupang, a sample of 215 respondents. The analytical method used is SEM PLS Version 3.0. The results of this study indicate that shopping lifestyle has a significant effect on purchase intention, social influence have a considerable impact on shopping lifestyle and purchase intention, and impulsive buying substantially impacts purchase intention. Therefore, preloved business people need to consider current lifestyles, social influence and impulsive buying to increase recent preloved buying decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of self-service technology service quality on customer loyalty, behavioral intention, and customer satisfaction, the effect of self-service technology service quality on customer loyalty and behavioral intention mediated by customer satisfaction, and the effect of self- service technology service quality on customer loyalty mediated by brand image. This study uses a quantitative approach using an online questionnaire data collection method (Google Form) and will be disseminated via social media (Line, WhatsApp, and Instagram). The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling – purposive sampling with 218 respondents. The results of the research conducted prove that all hypotheses in the study are supported, including service quality self-service technology has a positive effect on customer loyalty, service quality self-service technology has a positive effect on behavioral intention, service quality self-service technology has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship between service quality self-service technology on customer loyalty positively, customer satisfaction mediates the relationship service quality self-service technology positively on behavioral intention, brand image mediates the relationship service quality self-service technology positively on customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of social engineering at government-owned commercial banks and national private commercial banks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature study. The research results show the bank's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. In addition, several strategies are recommended for banks to prevent social engineering attacks, namely building information technology in banking according to the standards and regulations of the Financial Service Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan), utilizing social media as an educational tool, training employees, monitoring and optimizing data security and banking information technology networks, suppressing the circulation of social issues on behalf of banks that can trigger social engineering, increasing financial literacy and awareness of data security personal customers and employees. To prevent social engineering attacks, banks can implement strategies that are considered adequate.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine whether the characteristics of the board of commissioners in Indonesia affect the level of corporate environmental sustainability reporting, as well as to examine the moderating effect of political connections on the disclosure of environmental sustainability reports. The sample used was 80 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2021. The analysis technique used is Moderated Regression Analysis to examine the moderating effect of political connections and the effect of board characteristics on the disclosure of environmental sustainability reports. The results show that the board size variable has a significant positive effect on the disclosure level of environmental sustainability reports. Additionally, this study found that political connections weaken the influence of gender diversity on the disclosure of environmental sustainability reports. These findings provide valuable insights and evaluation for stakeholders aiming to implement good corporate governance practices to enhance environmental sustainability reporting performance. They can also serve as input for the government in developing guidelines for corporate sustainability reporting.

Abstract

The initial concept of a remote system (WFH) regulates flexible working hours, which can help employees determine work-life balance. The remote system gives employees the freedom to use their creativity to complete their tasks and responsibilities, which will greatly affect employee performance and work productivity. Central Statistics Agency (2020) shows data that the Zoomers generation is recorded as the generation that controls the next industry as active workers. The research method uses quantitative methods. This study uses the Smart-PLS 3.0 statistical tool with a sample of employees belonging to the Zoomers generation. Of the five hypotheses, three hypotheses were accepted, and two were rejected. The findings of this study can be an insight for businesspeople on whether the WFH pattern is still needed in increasing employees' productivity and performance.

Abstract

There are two purposes of this paper. Firstly, it deals with expectation formation. Secondly, it will be tested whether the expectation has a significant role in determining the current exchange rate in the case of Indonesian currency against the US dollar and Euro. This research will compare two kinds of expectation formation. Firstly, the expectation built from the fundamental economy is known as rational expectation formation. Secondly, the expectation formulated from past time series information, the Auto Regressive Moving Average (ARMA) model, is utilized. The steps to prove the role of expectation are stationary process, degree of integration, co-integration, and U-Theil's Inequality Coefficient Test (UTIC). It is found that both kinds of expectation formation have essential roles in determining the current exchange rate in Indonesia. However, according to UTIC criteria, a rational expectation better explains both current exchange rate movements.
