Abstract

Efek komunikosi dari suatu iklan akan tercermin dari tanggapan yang Diberikan oleh kansumen sejak mulai mengenal  atau menyadari akan kehadiran suntu produk sampai dengan keyakinan, wntuk melakukan pemhelian  Semua tanggapan yang dituju melalui komunikasi pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat menimbulkan atau  mendorong tindakan  pembelian , yang merupakan efek penjualan dari suatun iklan. Demikian pula halnya dengan BII dengan iklan produknya yaitu “Edu Plan” Efek penjualan pada masa yang akan dating diharapkan dapat terjadi melalui efek komunikasi. Guna melihat itu maka pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Hierarki Pengaruh (hierarki of Effect) dari Lavidge atau Steiner. Penelitian ini memodiifikasi model untuk mencari model yang paling sesuai MorJel yang paling  sesuai adalah model  alternatif 2 dengan menambah pengaruh dari pengetahuan  terhadap minat beli. Engel, et al (1994, h. 315) menyebutkan bahwa pemasar  mutlak perlu memeriksa apa yang sudah diketahui oleh konsumen, Apu yang konsumen beli, dimana mereka membeli, dan kapan mereka membeli akan bergantung pada pengetahuan yang relevan dengan keputusan ini. Semua hasil pengujian goodness of Fit model alternatif 3 adalah baik, yaitu ; CMin (4,152), probabititas (0,525), CMin/df (0,830), GFI (0,987)' AGFI (0,946), CFI (1.000), TLI (1.019), RMSEA (0 000) Hasil pengujian hipotesis menuniukkan bahwa pesan iklan berpengaruh pasitif dan sigiifikin terhadap kesadaran, pengetahuan, kesukaan, preferensi dan minat beli,  sesuai dengan HI, H2, H3, H4, dan H5. Kesadaran berpengaruh positif dan  signifikan terhadap pengetahuan, sesuai dengan H6. Pengetahuan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan ierhadap kesukaan, sesuai dengan II7. Kesukaan berpengaruh posltif dan silnifikan terhadap preferensi, sesuai dengan H8. Preferensi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli, sesuoi dengan H9. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa pengetahuan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap minat beli. Key words : Hierarchy of effect,  advertising,  post testing,  marketing mix

Abstract

Penetltian ini mengadopsi teori Sambandan dan Lord(r995), uiltuk melihat perilaku beralih merek.  Studi ini rnemfokuskan pada perilaku beralih merek produk handphone, khususnya di wilayah Pati. 141 responden yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yang didapat dengan purposive sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Struktural Equation Modeling(SEM). Riset ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku beralih produk (Switching behavior) dipengaruhi secara positif oleh Consideration Set, Size dan Retaile Search dan dipengaruhi secara negative oleh satisfaction. Retailer Search dipengaruhi secara positif oleh consideration set size dan consideration set size dipengaruhi secara negative oleh satisfaction. Satisfaction dipengaruhi secara positif oleh product knowledge, dan product knowledge dipengaruhi secara positif oleh prior experience. Abstract

Companies listed in stock exchange have a different ownership structure with ordinary companies. Baicaally, the main differences are that they have public stockholders beside managerial stock holders. There have suggested that there werw are relationship between ownership composition and firm value. Various researches had been conducted in this area with companies listed developed capital market as an object. So this is a motivation to do this research in emerging capital market mainly in Indonesia capital market. This research  aimed to scrutinize the impact of managerial ownership firm’s size, EBIT/sales and total debt/total asset on firm’s value which proxies with price book value. Indonesia Capital Market Directory and BEJ corner provided data needed, while 72 companies were obtaid\ned by using purposive sampling method as a sample in this study. Research question will be answer by using multiple regression metho technique. The findings shows that according partial mahnagerial ownership firm’s size EBIT/sales and total debt/total assets variable have significant value of 0.02; 0.02; 0.00 and 0.00, because significant value are under 5% so it will have significant impact on firm’s value. Public ownership haven’t significant impact on firm’s value, bcause significant value upper 5% that are 0.21%. in simultan way all independent variables are free to signicantly impact an firms value, because significant value is under 5% that is 0.00. coefisient determinant analysis is 37% so that variation independent variables can explained firm’s value in 37% and 63% explained uther factor outside model. Abstract

This study aims to provide empirical evidence of the influence of the information published financial statements, the accounting profit, cash flow components comprising cash flows from operating activities, cashflows from investing activities and cash flows from financing akrivitas on stock returns manufktur companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). During the observation period of 2006 - 2009 This study used a sample of 99 listed companies amounted selected using purposive sampling method. The data in this study is a secondary data obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory and IDX Corner at the Faculty of Economics, University of Diponegoro in Semarang. The statistical methods used to analyze the data using multiple regression analysis. Variable used is earnings accounting proxy retun on assets (ROA), a component of cash flows from the activities of the Operating Cash Flow, Cash Flow from Investing activities, cash flow from financing activities as an independent variable, while the Stock Return as the dependent variable. Of testing the hypothesis, this study produced findings that variable accounting profit / ROA has a significant positive effect on stock returns, the variable Cash Flows from Operating Akrivitas not have asignificant influence on stock returns, while Cash Flows from Investing Activities and Cash Flow from Financing activities influence significant positive stock returns.Keywords: Accounting Information, Accounting Earnings - ROA, Cash Flow Components and Stock Return.

Abstract

This study is aimed at analyzing the influence of corporate image, students’ trust towards students’ satisfaction and the implication to the students’ relational commitment in Economics Faculty of Semarang State University. It is also conducted to test the direct or indirect influence. The sample used in this study is 97 respondents. It was taken by applying proportional random sampling. There are several findings from this study: (1) the first hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between corporate image towards Economics Faculty students’ satisfaction (beta=0.472); (2) the second hypothesis is accepted indicating that there is a significant and positive influence between students’ trust towards Economics Faculty students’ satisfaction (beta=0.357); (3) the third hypothesis is accepted which shows that there is a significant and positive influence between corporate image towards Economics Faculty students’ relational commitment (beta=0.648); (4) the fourth hypothesis is accepted meaning that there is a significant and positive influence between trust towards Economics Faculty students’ relational commitment (beta=0.186); and (5) the fifth hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between students’ satisfaction towards Economics Faculty students’ relational commitment (beta=0.166). Variable of students’ satisfaction is not a median variable of corporate image towards Economics Faculty students’ relational commitment since the direct influence (0.648) is more than the indirect influence (0.078). Variable of students’ satisfaction is not a median variable of students’ trust towards Economics Faculty students’ relational commitment since the direct influence (0.186) is more than the indirect influence (0.059).Keywords: corporate image, trust, satisfaction, relational commitment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research examined and analyzed the Effect of Leadership, Motivation to Employee Performance with the Organizational Commitment as a mediation.The object of this research was employees atthe village of Batang Subdistrict. All member of population became sample research. The collecting data using the quistioner. The amount of responden 98. The Questioner completed only 96 respondent, 2 questioner failed (missing data). After the data was collected the data was examined validity and realiability. Abstract

This Research havea purpose to explain the influence at enableness of officer And job characteristic to officer performance mediation by Climate Organisation at office of Secretariat Pekalongan Regency. Researchpopulation is public servant of Civil at Secretariat Pekalongan Regency, while sample use the technique of purposive sampling. Method data collecting by using quesioner which passed to a responder. Examination toresearch instrument done with the validity test ( analyse the factor) and test the reliabilitas with the coefficient alpha of appliance to statistic test by multiple regression analysis regresi, test the t, test R2 and mediation test. Result of research indicate that the officer enableness have an effect is positive and signifikan to organizational climate and performance. Job characteristic have an effect on positive and signifikan to organizational climate. Job characteristic have an effect on the negativity but don,t signifikan to officer performance, while organizational climate have an effect on positive to performance but no signifikan.Keyword : Officer Enableness, Job Characteristic, Organizational Climate, Performance

Abstract

The purposes of this study are to test the influence of Local Government Original Receipt (LGOR) and Balancing Funds (BF) to the Regional Expenditure (RE) and to analyze the districts flypaper effect in CentralJava Province on the period of 2006 to 2008. The object of this research are the 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province which have published their reports of income and expenditure budget area (budget). Data andmodel have fullfiled the Econometrics tests. The LGOR, the GAF and the RS have positive significant effect on RE, while the SAF has not significant effect on RE.The results of t test comparisons, sig, R and R Square forthe GAF to the RE is greater than the revenue of RE, so that RE has flypaper effect. Abstract

This research propose to examine the effect organization culture, tranformational leadership, and compensation, on employee performance. Ninety eight respondents from PT Telkom Region IV Semarang, completed 65 items self-reported measures. The data collected survey method and questionares distributed to respondent. The statistic method used was Multiple Regression. As expected, result indicated that tranformational leadership and compensation has a positive effects on employee performance, while organization culture didn’t have effect on employee performance, it’s mean that ‘the telkom way 135’ which made since 2003 couldn’temployee perform, because before it telkom had strong organization culture. Furthermore, results show that tranformational leadership have a stronger effect on employee performance than compensation.Keywords: Organization Culture, Transformational Leadership, Compensation, and Employee Performance

Abstract

This research is conducted as a mean to test influence of leverage, company size and growth to profitability of Distric Drinking Water Company (PDAM) in Central Java Province during period 2004- 2007. Research sample taken on sampling purposive basis. Criterion of Sample fulfilling counted 21 companies. Analysis technique using multiple regression with of ordinary square least (OLS) technique. Amount of sampel fulfilling normalitas counted 81 was later on used for analysiseses. Result of analysis prove that by simultan variable of leverage, company size and growth of company have an effect on profitability of PDAM which in Central Java Province. This Result is shown with F sig 0,000 or at level less than 0,05. while by parsial, two independent variable the having an effect on is variable of leverage company size and posed at with signifikansi equal to 0,014 and 0,000 while variable growth of company do not have an effect on to profitability of PDAM.Keyword : Leverage, Company Size, Company, Growth , and Profitability
