Abstract

An experienceof using a particular product lead to special attitutude against the pruduct. Whether he or she experience good or bad feeling about the product. It makes the customer to be always aware that a knowledge about the product is very critical to make a good decision. Otherwise, it is inevitablyto easIly switch the brand the purpose of the study is to investigate the role of the prior experience and the knowledge about the brand to the customers satisfaction. Further to explore the impact to brandswitching, data summitted from respondens who bought and owned particular brand of notebook. The result show that the customer satisfaction is greatly influnced by the prior experience and product knowledge. Abstract

This research aims to develop and test empirical model of development brand loyalty on the basis of product quality and brand image. The research was conducted at customer of Handphone brand of Nokia . The empirical test model used was regression analysis by using some software, such as: SPSS 13.0 and Microsoft Excel version. 2007. The sample size of the study was 100 customer of Handphone brand of Nokia in Semarang. The results showed that product quality affect positively towards decision of purchasing, and brand image affect positively towards decision of purchasing. Quality product, brand image, and decision of purchasing affect positively towards brand loyality. Furthermore, product quality have indirect effect to brand loyalty through mediating decision of purchasing, product quality have direct effect to brandloyalty so that total effect product quality to brand loyalty is equal to effect indirect plus effect direct. Brand image have indirect effect to brand loyalty through mediating decision of purchasing.Keywords: Product quality, brand image, decision of purchasing, and brand loyalty.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine factors that affect to capital structure policy on manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange.By concept factors that determine capital structure can be dividedinto two factors, Macroeconomics and Microeconomics.Macroeconomic factors are factors that Unconrtollable which in this study proxied by Inflation, Interest Rates and Economic Growth.Microeconomicfactors are factors that can be controlled, in this study proxied by profitability, company size, Intangible Assets and Retained Earnings. Statistical test results showed that all indicators Macroeconomic factorsinfluence capital structure policy, while indicators Microeconomic factors, not all affecting capital structure.Keywords: Capital Structure, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics.

Abstract

This study aimto analyze the influence of current ratio, total assets turnover, and return on investment to performance on food and beverage company that listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. The population in this study were food and beverage company that listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange. Sampling method were used in this study was purposive sampling. Regression analysis were used to testing influence current ratio, return on investment, and total assets turnover to performance which proxied by earning after tax. The results of this study found that current ratio and total assets turnover have positive andsignificant impact on performance. On the other hand return on investment has no influence to performance.Key Words: current ratio, total assets turnover, return on investment, performance.

Abstract

Housing is the oneof basic needs that people want. As the raising amount of population, the demand of this product also tend to increase. This fenomena is being an interesting opportunities for businessmen,especially for developers who supply housing as their product. For those, consumers will be faced with many kinds of product housing’s supplies to fulfill their need of housing as the home living. Related to the fact, thisstudy try to analize the influence of product, price, promotion and location to buying decision making of product housing at Graha Estetika Housing in Semarang. There were five hipothesis tested in this study byusing multiple linier regression. Convenience sampling is a method that used in this research to get the respondent as samples. The result show that there were got positive significant effects of product, price,promotion and location to buying decision making of product housing at Graha Estetika Housing in Semarang both as partially and simultanly.Key words: Product, Price, Promotion, Location, Buying decision making.

Abstract

Research about service quality has been done many times, but research of  service   quality in forming ofrepurchasing intention from merchant of fish at place auction fish is still rare. There fore this research is aimed to test model modification told by Parasuraman et. Al(1998) and Lupioadi(2001) , that is by interacting five variable or dimension of service quality with repurchasing intension measurement of service quality use gap beetwen perceived service with expected service.This research was conducted in REmbang REgency with with Research object of Fiash Auction Place and its subject is merchan of fish. Data was applied in this research was 126 of 150 questioner spreading. Result of this research indicated that  there  are negative gap beetwen percived service with expected service.Base of the result of this research management of fish auction place require to improve performance of service quality. so that repurchasing intention from merchant of fish in fish auction place  can be defended or is even improved thus, managerial implication of this research have beeb tried to be compiled in comprehensive analysis matrix to be able to reference.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to employees Hapi Motor Branch  of  Central  Java  with  respondents  overall  employee  Motor  Hapy  the  census.  Test  Result Statistics independent sample t-test showed the influence of hypothesis testing work motivation on employee performance can be summed up in partial Work Motivation significant positive effect on employee   performance   variables.   Hypothesis   testing   effect   on   Employee   Performance   Work Environment concluded in partial Workplace significant positive effect on employee performance variables. Results of R Square of 0.76 this means that 76% of variation can be explained by the Employee Performance variation of the two independent variables Work Motivation and Work Environment. While the remaining 24% is explained by reasons - other causes outside the model. Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Environment and Employee Performance

Abstract

The aim of this research is to prove the existance of intra industry information transfer which happen in dividend chabge announcemen by a firm that influence stock price of other firm in the same industry subsector. The population of this research incude all of manufactur firms that list in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2002-2004. Using purposive sampling method, obtained 15 firms that report dividend decrease and 15 firms that report dividend increase. From 15 reporter firms, there are 112 non reporter firms dividend decrease and 119 non reporter firms dividend increase. The results of this research show that intra industry transfer information only happen in h +4 and h +5 for dividend increase announcement. In h -4, there is contagion effect mean that dividend decrease regarded as sign that there is performance decrease in reporter firm that contaminates  to non-reporter firms in dividend increase  announcement. Only happened in h -5 information transfer in the same sector and happen competitive effect. Meanwhile, decrease and increase dividend announcement not influence to cummulative abnormal return. Key words:  divident announcement, transfer of information, contagion effect, competitive effect, cummulative abnormal return.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of self confidence, professional competence and idealized influence leadersiup to aifretive cummilmc’nl and the rok uf ickallzt’d in/luence kadership moderated tite influence of self confidence and pivfessional competence on a(frciive comrnitnwnt to the teacher of vocational secondary school in Barang Regency. This research uses explanatory rcwucrh. The populations in of the research are the teacher of y,cat,onal secondary school in Batang Regency. they are 120 people. Based lest validity, KMO in all variables of the model ¡n this stuth’ is greater ¡han 0., this is indicate that the sample is adequacy. The loading factor in all indicators t1ai used in this rescach is larger titan 0.4 and the value of’ Alpha cronhach is greater thais 0, 7. This means thai all indicators valid and reliahihtv. According so the data of Oiw-Sample Kobnogorov—Smirnov Test regression models to Normal and no l!eieroskedasticitv. Based on the hypothesis tes!, one of the kpothesis is accepted and four hypothesis are re/ected The results are self confidence has not effect on affrctive commitment, professional competence has positive efii’ct on affective commitment, idealized influence leadership has not effect on aljective commitment, idealized influence leadership does not moderate tite influence ‘ cell confidence on affective conunitme’nt,j idealized influence leadership does not moderate the influence ofprofrs.cs anal conspetence on affective co?nmitment.
