Abstract

Abstract: The Great Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI) defines a reference book as a guidance, hint source, or referencing source. The designing process of this reference book will elucidate the cosmetic characteristics of Surabaya dance (Tari Surabaya) in which most of the society have less recognition about it. The character in the designing process of this reference book represents the cosmetic characteristics of Surabaya dance that. The cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance reference book projected to design the cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance reference book as an information medium for Surabaya society. In order to support the book, the research employs photography technique that believes could produce a clear, and high quality image. By the existence of the photography technique, the information about cosmetic characteristic of Surabaya dance could become informative and interesting. Abstract

Miners Sulfur is a very hard job even their health is at stake to have the purse - purse rupiah. Sulfur miners life is inversely proportional to the abundance of natural resources which should make life more prosperous miners. Wages are not appropriate to make the miners live in poverty, as the backbone of the family who is obliged to make a living, can cause health problems and even death. It was all a picture of life sulfur miners. The lack of public concern to the mining of sulfur makes the sulfur miners living with difficulty and hard work. Therefore, this study aims to create a book of essays photography Sulfur Miners To Illustrating Rural Community Livelihoods Paltuding. Creation of this photography book essay using qualitative data collection methods, namely by interview, observation, documentation studies, literature studies, study competitors are very important to determine the design concept of the study. Abstract

This research deals with the design of the Keraton Sumenep visual communic ation through photography books to introduce the historical heritage. The background that makes Keraton Sumenep as the main focus in this research because the Keraton Sumenep is one of the accessible historical tourism place in the city. But there are many people who do not recognize the Keraton Sumenep                Keraton Sumenep photography book design aims to introduce the Keraton Sumenep to public because nobody has recognized it yet. Because this is an asset that we should recognize. The book is well choosen as a media to stimulate people’s emotional feeling and it can be printed regularly.                In the study, the researcher applied the qualitative approach and they obtained the information from interviews, literatur studies, observation, documentation, and competitors. Qualitative research design has flexible and changeable nature of appropriate condition in the field. These data was taken from Keraton Sumenep during study.                By the existence, it could produce a book of photography of the Keraton Sumenep that contains photographs of the area and the building of the Keraton Sumenep, the valuable goods and its annual event. Abstract

conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept design of rebranding. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. rom the analysis of the data found few keyword refers to the communication strategy rebranding which will be used to achieve the intended targets of the audians. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design of rebranding of "Smart". The description of the concept is smart thinking and the nature of the child that shows intelligence. The concept of "Smart" aims to show that the Zoo in Surabaya was the tour has the identity pndidikan, ex-situ, research and recreation. The concept of smart aims to convey the identity of Surabaya Zoo to the tourists to pay a visit to the place that is capable of offering entertainment and education for children. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design Photography Books Animal Names With Indonesian Broadcasting System ( SIBI ) For Deaf Children Learning Media in TKLB - B Karya Mulia Surabaya . Education is now very much forward to the next generation , just to note again is the children who have physical limitations . They need to be learning and understanding more through special books especially for children with hearing impairment. Abstract

The design of this book aims to increase the reading interest of children by using the media of pop up books and Cindelaras fairy tales. The story of a fairy tale that began to be left by children who are currently switching on television. Pop up book is one of the efforts to introduce the fairy tales story that began to be abandoned. The research used in this design is a qualitative method that conducts interviews, observations, documentation, and literature to obtain the data used to support the illustration design concept from the Cindelaras fairy tale pop up book. After the data analysis process has been done, then found a design concept is "Joyful". Basically, "Joyful" has the meaning is fun. Joyful meaning is actually the concept of an interactive storybook that will be used as a means to provide moral education to the target audience about the story of the Cindelaras fairy tale.The result of this research is to produce a cindelaras pop up book that can cultivate the curiosity of the target audience to recognize or recall the folklore, especially Cindelaras.Kata kunci: Buku Pop Up, Cerita dongeng, Teknik V - Fold.

Abstract

Asma'ul Husna are the names and attributes of Allah SWT. Asma'ul Husna is also the science of Islamic teachings of Tawheed. By studying Asma'ul Husna for a Muslim can get closer to Allah SWT, the Creator. In Asma'ul Husna's learning is usually only a vocal or singing Asma'ul Husna pronunciation. This makes the researchers want to create new learning media Asma'ul Husna. The research was conducted by using qualitative research method that is by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and literature study to get the data used as supporting the design concept of pop up book design of Asma'ul Husna. The results of this design is for the learning media on the target audience. Abstract

Wedang ronde merupakan salah satu minuman khas yang memiliki manfaat yaitu mampu menghangatkan badan. Hal ini di latar belakangi oleh keinginan penulis agar warisan kuliner nusantara dapat lebih dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Salah satu Ronde yang terkenal di Salatiga adalah Wedang Ronde Jago. Telah berdiri selama hampir 1 abad lamanya, tepatnya telah berdiri sejak tahun 1964. Wedang ronde adalah minuman khas warisan budaya yang dari sekian banyaknya masyarakat belum mengenal wedang ronde khususnya Wedang Ronde Jago. Untuk itu, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengenalkan Wedang Ronde Jago melalui film dokumenter yang menceritakan tentang proses pembuatan wedang ronde dari pengolahan bahan baku sampai menjadi wedang ronde siap saji. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan film ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, studi literatur, studi eksisting, pencarian internet. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini berupa karya film dokumenter dengan durasi di bawah 60 menit. Dengan dibuatnya film dokumenter ini, diharapkan dapat menambah wawasan masyarakat mengenai minuman Wedang Ronde Jago, Salatiga.

Abstract

PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines is a shipping company established since 46 years ago. Since the company established, has no visual communication media to support the promotion or introduce the company to the public. One of the promotional activities to introduce the company to the public during this time is a promotional event by participating in the Job Fair event. Thus the need for visual communication media through a media campaign. The objectives of this study is to design the visual communication media PT. Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines based culture to increase brand awareness. The method used is a qualitative method is to conduct interviews, observation. documentation. and literature to get the data used to support the manufacture of visual communication design concepts. From the analysis of data on visual communication design is found keyword "Progressive". Abstract

Researchers made direct observations and found that Museum Dr. Soetomo has no logo or visual identity that can describe the characteristics of this place to the wider community. In this design, researchers will focus on the logo design process in an effort to increase brand awareness. The concept of logo that has been designed is the inspiration obtained from the analysis of data and keywords. Inspiration concept means the spirit to the fore. A spirit of inspiration for youth through the history education of Dr. Soetomo. In addition to creating logos, this design also designs brand guidelines that aim to provide an explanation of the value and essence of the brand that Museum has Dr. Soetomo along with guidelines for the use of logos and their applications for the implementation of design.
