Abstract

Visual communication is a way of communicating through a visual picture or later will be the identity of the product. Visual communication into a means of conveying information and instructions fatherly, aims to show the relationship between a thing with other things such as pointers, direction, position, and scale. Taking one brand from Surabaya namely Revolt Industry to do the design of visual communication Revolt Industry uses photography as an effort to increase brand awareness. Problems in this final project is how to design a visual communication in Revolt Industry products such as efforts to increase brand awareness in order to increase sales had declined in the last 6 months. The research method uses qualitative methods with data collection technique using observation, interviews, literature, existing studies, and study competitors. The concept used in the design is "interesting". Results from the design of the visual communication industry Revolt is an attempt to communicate the products Revolt Industry so that more people know Revolt Industry as well as educate the public about the quality of handmade goods. Abstract

Teknologi informasi dan komunikasi khususnya media sosial merupakan salah satu teknologi yang sangat perlu untuk mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari semua pihak, terutama penggunanya. Berkembangnya pemanfaatan teknologi komunikasi dan komputer menuntut masyarakat dapat menyaring informasi dan menyebarkan informasi yang berguna bagi lingkungan sosial mereka. Seperti yang terjadi belakangan ini kasus self harassment secara verbal lewat media sosial cukup ramai dibicarakan di Indonesia. Self harassment yang dibahas yakni sexual harassment dan juga body shaming. Banyak sekali dampak yang diakibatkan oleh tindakan tersebut yang tidak dipahami oleh masyarakat. Oleh karena itu peneliti akan membuat media utama berupa video iklan layanan masyarakat dengan Teknik motiongraphic yang akan membahas mulai dari penjelasan apa itu sexual harassment dan juga body shaming serta dampak yang diakibatkan hingga solusi bagaimana cara menghadapi tindakan tersebut. Dan juga media pendukung berupa flyer, poster, xbanner, stiker dan juga pin.

Abstract

The purpose of this illustration book design is to make it easier for deaf children learn to know the names of professions. Research conducted using qualitative research methods, namely by doing interviews, observation, documentation, library and study to get the data used as the supporter of the creation of the concept of the design of book illustration. The data were analyzed by using multiple stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data and conclusions. From the analysis of the data found some keywords which refer to illustration design strategies that will be used to reach the target audiance who ditujuh. After analysis of the data, the concept of virtue or keyword design book illustrations of "creative". Abstract

Indonesia is an country that has 17,504 islands, from these islands Indonesia has many diversitiessuch as ethnicity, culture, and religion. Currently there are many arts and cultures along withethnic groups in Indonesia that are not yet known by the public. One of them is the Sumba tribelocated in the Sumba island, East Nusa Tenggara. Sumba Island has indigenous tribes Sumbatribes located in several places in West and East Sumba, East Sumba has several tribes such asLewa, Pariawang, and Rindi. The tribes are scattered in several places such as lewa, karera, andpariawang. They had a lot of culture such as dance, ikat weave, and music.

Abstract

Wapand Resto Eduentainment is a company which run in a culinary field with their specialty in Chinese and Javanese cuisine made with halal ingredients. Main dishes which usually used in other menus are chicken, shrimp, fish, squid and beef. Wapand also has a huge area which contain fishing pond, ferris wheel, and boutique. But until now, Wapand Resto Eduentainment doesn’t have corporate identity that represent the company which run in a culinary field as well the promotion media. Wapand’s condition right now doesn’t have a logogram which can represent halal culinary company of Chinese and Javanese cuisine, has different logos in every promotion medias, also using red, black, white and yellow as their color identity. So the effort that cneeds to be done for Wapand to represent their culinary business and to compete in a creative industry right now, is to re-design their company’s logo.                Keywords: Resto, Corporate Identity, Brand Awareness

Abstract

Aksara Jawa bukan hanya sekedar tulisan, bagi masyarakat Jawa khususnya Jawa Timur yang paham dengan aksara Jawa, aksara Jawa memiliki keunikan selain berupa tulisan yaitu arti dan filosofi aksara Jawa yang luas, meliputi kehidupan bahkan meliputi keTuhanan. Aksara Jawa memiliki tiga unsur, yaitu Tuhan, manusia, dan kewajiban manusia sebagai ciptaan-Nya. Ha-naca-ra-ka dapat juga diartikan utusan, yaitu utusan untuk hidup, berupa nafas yang berkewajiban mempersatukan jiwa dan jasad manusia. Aksara Jawa memiliki satu arti utuh berupa amanah atau titipan. Untuk memberi pengetahuan tetang makna dan filosofi aksara Jawa maka dalam tugas akhir ini dibuat untuk memperlihatkan pada khalayak umum bahwa film ini menceritakan tentang gambaran makna dan filosofi Aksara Jawa dimana makna dan filosofi aksara Jawa dikemas dalam bentuk Film. Dalam Penelitian jurnal Penulis, metode penelitian yang akan digunakan oleh penulis berupa metode kualitatif dengan teknik mengumpulkan data berupa wawancara, studi literatur dan studi eksisting. Pengapliksian alur dalam film ini menggunakan alur maju agar dapat dipahami penonton. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah film pendek bergenre drama tentang makna Aksara Jawa yang berjudul “Hannah”. Harapan pada tugas akhir ini terbuatnya film pendek bergenre drama tentang makna dan filosofi aksara Jawa.

Abstract

The purpose of design media promotion Sanggar Gubug Wayang  Mojokerto in video youtube based culture in an effort to increase brand awareness is as a source of information in order that the large public can know and preserve the culture of Indonesia. Than, this research using analysis research with descriptive-qualitative that is observation, interview, and literature study to get the data used to support the production of design media promotion Sanggar Gubug Wayang Mojokerto in video youtube. And analyzed using several stages, that is observation Extend, Improve persistence, Triangulation, negative case analysis, use of reference materials, Using check. After analysis of the data found a design concept or keyword design media promotion that is "interest". Description of "interest" is interesting. The concept of "interest" the purpose to influence adolescent and lovers of culture and art community Indonesia which has the properties Conserve (preserve) and Art (creating something of high value). The development of household appliances industry, especially the kitchen equipment in Indonesia can be said is not comparable with the development of the culinary industry very rapidly in Indonesia, which until now, according to the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia, the food and beverage industry grew by 13% or approximately Rp. 390 Trillion per year (http://www.kemenperin.go.id:04/03/2016) One of the producers of cookware that has existed since 1998, Prima Boga made products, especially pan kitchen equipment that can be said the main component in cooking in some countries in southeast Asia such as Vietnam, China and Indonesia and markets its products in various cities in Indonesia, one of Surabaya. Although it has long stood as a manufacturer of kitchen appliances in Indonesia with an extensive distribution chain, the public is not fully aware of the existence and reputation of the company. Pasuruan is one of the regencies in East Java province has many attractions but not yet terekpose perfectly. Pasuruan not only has a beautiful nature, but also a tourist destination worth to visit. The study was conducted using qualitative research is to conduct interviews, observation, documentation, and literature to obtain data to support the drafting. Data were analyzed using multiple stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. the concept of "Original" presented to provide information to the target audience that Ranu Grati has a natural beauty and beautiful and natural panorama that can be enjoyed by families who want to travel to Ranu Grati.
