Abstract

Malang has a lot of potential for tourism in abundance and has many thematic hometown with a distinctive rural atmosphere. In addition, Malang also has cultural villages. Kampung 1000 Topeng is one of them. Starting from the gateway to the area, visitors will be greeted hundreds of masks with a variety of colors and a variety of characters as in the tales of Panji. This village was known as kampung topeng because storing and displaying a wide variety of character topeng malangan. Researchers have been observing the Kampung 1000 Topeng that is located in the Tlogowaru village, district Kedungkandang, Malang City and find the fact that it needs help in order to be known by audiences as the only thematic Topeng Malangan hometown. Therefore a solution that can be given by researchers is doing the design of the visual identity of Kampung 1000 Topeng in an effort to brand recognition. To support the creation of visual identity that is good and right then the researchers also designed the graphic standard manual which contains guidelines and rules from elements that support the visual identity like logos, colors, typography, etc. Not only that the graphic standards manual can also be used as a reference for manufacture and use of the logo in the future. Then the researchers also made some media promotion expected can be informative for prospective media tourists to get to know these destinations better again.

Abstract

The goal of Loka Jala Crana Museum of Surabaya brand identity design is to introduce the laboratory for education to society. The design used within this thesis research is the methods of qualitative data collection which is done by conducting interview, observation, documentation, and study of existence which is very important to determine the design of the research concept. Of the data analysis result, the concept design obtained is enchant. In the next stage, the word discover is then chosen to follow the word enchant. When the term Enchanting Discovery is translated into Bahasa, it means penemuan mengagumkan, that further is taken as the concept. Enchanting is the description of learner’s curiosity on what they've been found while exploring the history at Loka Jala Crana Museum of Surabaya. Then, it becomes the strategy to introduce Loka Jala Crana Museum of Surabaya as the laboratory for education. One of them is to explore the heroic story, educate, empower, and improve the effectiveness of campaign media to schools. Abstract

Permasalahan pada Tugas Akhir ini adalah bagaimana merancang sebuah video iklan layanan masyarakat sebagai bentuk informasi kepada masyarakat, sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia belum menerapkan bagaimana cara hemat listrik yang tepat karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang cara menghemat listrik, sehingga perlunya dibuatnya video iklan layanan masyarakat dengan hasil penelitian yang telah melalui tahap observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan begitu solusi yang akan diberikan adalah suatu informasi yang berisikan cara cara menghemat listrik yang bijak, dengan ini masyrakat diharapkan dapat mengetahui dan menerapkan cara menghemat lsitrik.

Abstract

Remo dance is an opening dance of an event and dance typical of East Java that has meaning about the courage of a prince. Remo dance can be obtained from within a person's soul and the emotions that represent the people of East Java. Remo dance started in District Diwek, Ceweng, Jombang regency in 1850. originally this dance was created by some singers dance at that time. In the era of Cak Durasim in 1927 Remo dance was successfully performed in Surabaya society which was presented in the opening of Ludruk theater and other cultural performances.                The lack of public understanding of the meaning of the Remo Dance movement attracts researchers to preserve local culture with the cultural conditions of Indonesia that are beginning to disappear by outside cultural values, aimed at not being eroded by the times. The development of the current era is more advanced, especially people living in big cities know less and understand about traditional dance dance Remo. This is due to the lack of insight into the traditional dance arts that are consumed by modern times today, due to the less desirable cultural preservation. The displacement of traditional art by the development of the times can be understood because the exposure to the community is less informative.                The purpose of the researcher is to design the story photography of remo dance book as an effort to preserve the traditional dance arts of Surabaya with a focus on the meaning of a movement and the meaning contained within the movement.                From the results of the analysis of the data then the concept obtained is Expressive which has a meaning as a picture or expression of traditional art Remo dance. and then,  the story photography of remo dance book designed by investigators as evidence Surabaya preserve traditional dance arts that have an authentic cultural values strong      Keywords : Story Photography, Remo Dance, Expressive, Surabaya Traditional Dance
