Abstract

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is a genius figure and professionals in the field of musiccomposition. In addition to a composition he is also an expert in playing musicalinstruments, violin and harpsichord. He have many works of instrumental musiccomposition, vocal, even to the form of a symphony orchestra with choir produced. Somegreat works that have been created is a composition for string quartet chamber music.Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K.525 is one of his works, which is still often heard in thecorners of the world. The composition of this string quartet has a character andcharacteristics of light music and lively, so well known in the community. In this case, theauthor tried to assess Eine Kleine Nachtmusik in the development and function of thepresentation is still sound and well-known in this modern era. To discuss this paper usedqualitative methods with descriptive analysis, the approach to musicology. Abstract

Then study was coducted clasroom action research study in which was 8th-gradestudents. The study was conducted in two cycles beginning with the pre-cycle andfollowed-up with the cycle II which each cycle through the for stages, namelyplanning, implementation of action, observation and reflection.Data collection techniques used were technical tests, observations, andinterviews. Techniques of data analysis using quantitative techniques toprocess data from the test results of students based on the number of values,while the techniques used to analyze qualitative data such as non-testquestionnaire, observation, and interviews. The results showed that an increasein each cycle, from pre-cycle of 38 students who attended by 37 studentsbecause of 1 student permit in sick, as many as 24 students or 64.85% completeand as many as 13 students or 35.15% have not completed. In cycle I of 38students there are 34 students or 89.47% have been completed and 4 studentsor 10.53% have not finished studying. In cycle II, an increase of more than 38students by 36 students or 94.74% and 2 or 5.26% of students have not studiedthoroughly. Based on the above results it is impotant that learning to cooperatewith jigsaw technique is one alternative that can be used to improve the qualityof teaching and student learning outcomes.Kata kunci: optimalisasi, hasil belajar, melodi, tangga nada perubahan, jigsaw

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe the extent to which provision of independent tasks canimprove learning achievement at the Cultural Arts ensemble material. The method used in thisstudy is the class-action research using a descriptive approach to quantitative and qualitative.The model was used with step cycle: planning, action, observation and reflection. Data wasanalyzed in each cycle of observation and reflection. The results showed that: independent taskmethod can enhance students learning achievement 8th-grade students of Watumalang JuniorHigh School, was seen from the increase in the percentage of success from all cycles. In cycle I,the success of students only 10.7% good, cycle II, the success of students increased to 82.1% good,and the third cycle of increased student success more to 96.4%. Suggestions in this research are:(1) Teachers can socialize independent assignment method and implementing these methods inlearning and Cultural Arts as far as the condition of their students with students who have thecondition in this study that students have the responsibility, discipline, willingness andenthusiasm for learning high.Kata Kunci : prestasi belajar seni budaya, tugas mandiri, ensambel musik.

Abstract

Orchestra is the most popular instrumental music group in Western. As other bigcities in the world, Jakarta also has some orchestras as the result of culturaldiffusion influence. The growth of orchestra in Indonesia is not as good as that inWestern, however, the presence of orchestra in Indonesia has aroused variouscultural phenomenons. The gathering of sixty to seventy musicians and evenmore in an orchestra can form a new community. The cooperation intertwinedwithin the community can create a beautiful and fascinating musicalperformance. A high music quality of an orchestra will not emergeunintentionally without adeguate mastery of the skill. Abstract

Changes in society have an impact on culture and creativity. Changes in societywill lead to changes in orientation to the values espoused. Among previousMangkunegaran temple, not allowed to create a dish Bedhaya dance, becausedance Bedhaya considered sacred dance, which should only be presented in theenvironment Kasunanan Sultanate of Surakarta and Yogyakarta. Because ofchanges in value systems and supporting artists, then in Mangkunegaran thencreated Bedhaya dance. Bedhaya dance originally created the dance BedhayaAnglir clouds as a monument honors the first Mangkunegara services. In theprocess, because internal and external influences, the creation of dance BedhayaSumirat Surya Bedhaya dance that resembles the other. Surya Bedhaya DanceDance Sumirat is a new creation as the creativity to meet the need forentertainment. Surya Sumirat Bedhaya Dance is a fusion of traditional dance andcontemporary dance. Location of novelty, observed through the makeup,dressing, dance movement and impression of movement. Surya SumiratBedhaya Dance performed according to the needs. Abstract

Semar is the mysterious puppet charaters and vague. Semar is present in all versions ofleather puppet theater performances. Stories in puppet shows, Semar is present in twomain roles, first as a supporter of the birth of the holder of the most important role in theplay, namely the presence of seeds that will take a decisive position in the theater, precededby his presence because, seond Semar become major stakeholders in play as an example:Kilat Buana, Semar Kuning, Semar Papa, Semar Mbarang Jantur. Semar represent sudrafigures, also represent the people in general. In the play lebet containing about philosophyof life, the presence of Semar preceded by events because it is an extraordinary event. Garagarain the puppet shows are usually marked by a major event in the universe caused by avariety of puppet characters. It appeared to subside after Semar figure. As the atmosphereConditioning, Semar comes with poise, dignity many illustrations that can be interpretedfrom him. Semar restore the harmony of the play that ended mulih play according to plan.Things returned to normal play Semar sometimes even appear as a fresh air carriers and thehumorous seasoning with punakawan others, can be used to establish rapport with theaudience. Semar is a symbol characters will be elected to the presence of a knight, who has agenuine spirit of struggle, and the birth of world harmony.Kata Kunci: Semar, pertunjukan, wayang kulit jawa, gaya Surakarta.

Abstract

Lelagon dolanan (children) contains a variety of high values of national culturewhich is useful for building character and identity of the nation. Dewasa inikondisi lelagon dolanan (anak) ibarat hidup segan mati tak mau. He wassurrounded by a variety of industrial art products that appear more glamorous,practical, and economical. To preserve, develop, and distribute it needs to supportfrom various parties both actors musical arts, government, media entrepreneurs,and society. Javanese gamelan music art perpetrators should be creative,innovative, creative, and productive working lelagon dolanan (children) whoactually follow the new development era. The government is expected to makepolicy, especially through formal education institutions in favor of thepreservation and development of lelagon dolanan. Employers can participate in themass media through the production and dissemination of copyrighted workspublicly lelagon dolanan. Abstract

This research is aimed to give an image of aesthetic education implementation through art inLanguages and Arts Faculty in Semarang State University. Applied method in this research isqualitative method. Data collection technique are done by observation, inter view, anddocumentation. Analyzing data is done by using interactive analysis. Technique of checkingrelevance data done by using triangulation. The result of this research shows that aestheticeducation implementation through art in Languages and Arts Faculty are done in form of formaland non-formal aesthetics. Formal aesthetic education are done by all of students in languagesand arts faculty through art materials. Non-formal aesthetics education are done by academicconsists of students, lecturers, employees, as well as the head of faculty. Non-formal estheticseducation mainly are done as a coordinating institution of students’ activity unit. Aestheticseducation for lecturers, employees, as well as the head of faculty mainly done through artappreciation and creation by watching art exhibition, watching art performances, doing artactivities which held by faculties and majors events.Kata kunci : seni budaya, estetika, pendidikan, apresiasi, kreasi

Aesthetic is not only presents beauty that give pleasure without any interest of thesense, but also gives an recognition for people in terms of developing social,economic, politic, and culture phenomenon. Aesthetic which gives beauty has essenceof recognition social and culture phenomenon changes system and culture, changesvalue system in society. Reality life is imagination, fantasy, and absurd dreams,whereas the truth and kindness of beauty only occur in ideas which create beauty of lifemanagement and the value of culture system itself. Abstract

Barongsai is a traditional art of Chinese ethnic in Semarang, which comes from China. That art still existsand develop until nowadays although have lot of pressures both from Orde Lama and Orde Baru. Researchstudies were: (1) origin of Barongsai, (2) form of Barongsai art performance, (3) function of Barongsai art,(4) meaning of Barongsai art for Chinese ethnic in Semarang. Applied research method is qualitativemethod. Techniques of data collection are observation, interview, and documentation studies. Techniqueod data analysis are reducing, clarifying, decrypting, concluding, and interpreting all informationselectively. Techniques of checking relevance data were dependability and conformability. Research resultshows that Barongsai is an art comes from China entered Semarang by Chinese merchant. Form ofBarongsai performance are divided into three stages, those are flag play, Barongsai play, and ending.Function of Barongsai art for Chinese ethnic in Semarang are ritual, entertainment, and politic function.Whereas meaning of Barongsai art for Chinese ethnic in Semarang are symbolic meaning and strategymeaning.Kata Kunci : kesenian barongsai, fungsi, makna, masyarakat etnis Cina
