Harmonia: Journal of Arts Research and Education is published by Departement of Drama, Dance, and Music, Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang in cooperation with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Sendratasik Indonesia (AP2SENI)/The Association of Profession for Indonesian Sendratasik Educators, two times a years. Abstract

This research was done by comparing the texts of the three types of poems, then interpreting the meanings of nationalism according to them. Especially, the message of the language styles of the national song lyrics: Indonesia Raya, Bagimu Negeri, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Pada Pahlawan, and Bangun Pemudi Pemuda, is analyzed symbolically or poetically in the context of nationalism. From this research, some conclusions or results can be drawn. First, colonialism produces nationalism. Second, the poem Tanah Air expresses romantic nationalism which only admires the natural beauty of Sumatra. Third, the poem Aku reveals realistic nationalism which is based on the real resistance of the Indonesian people to expel the colonialist from Indonesia and reach the Independence of the Indonesian people. Fourth, the song lyrics: Indonesia Raya, Bagimu Negeri, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, Pada Pahlawan, and Bangun Pemudi Pemuda communicates human nationalism which asks the whole Indonesian people to do the best for the welfare of the whole Indonesian people and country. Abstract

Slawatan Angguk Rame merupakan kesenian rakyat yang bertemakan keIslaman. Kesenian rakyat merupakan seni bagi komunitas pedesaan. Slawatanmuncul di tengah masyarakat, berfungsi untuk mengikat solidaritaspendukungnya. Keterkaitan kesenian rakyat Slawatan Angguk Rame denganhidup dan kehidupan masyarakat terjelma melalui kebudayaan. Sifat-sifatbersahaja, spontan, responsif dan sederhana, sebagai cermin dari sebagian sifatmasyarakat pedesaan, terjelma dalam Slawatan Angguk Rame.Kata kunci : kesenian rakyat, kislaman, solidaritas.

Abstract

Tiadanya kritik berarti salah satu informasi budaya tak sampai. Tiada kritik,maka nilai-nilai dan kualitas karya seni tak dapat dikenali dan dipahami.Kritik bukan hanya bermanfaat bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangankhasanah seni, melainkan juga dapat memacu kreatifitas seni man danmeningkatkan daya apresiasi khalayak luas. Namun mengkritik karya senitidaklah mudah, karena membutuhkan kedewasaan dan kearifan daripengkritiknya. Selain itu, sebuah kritik seni harus mempertahankanaktifitas-aktifitasnya yang memancarkan kejelasan dan kekuatanproporsional dan mampu menyertakan posisinys (stage of the art) diantara jenis karya seni yang menjadi objek kritik .Kata Kunci : kritik, kritikus

Abstract

Dangdut merupakan salah satu jenis musik yang kemungkinan besarpenamaannya diduga diambil dari peniruan bunyi sepasang kendang yangdimainkan secara khusus dalam musik ini, sungguhpun dalam pekembanganselanjutnya keberadaan alat ini tidak mutlak ada dalam setiappenyajiannya. Sebagai salah satu musik yang sampai saat ini masih tetapeksis dan berkembang di tengah pencintanya dan musik jenis lainnya,secara kontekstual keberadaan musik ini setidaknya memberikan fungsisebagai hiburan bagi masyarakat pendukungnya, sementara secara tekstual,musik ini mampu beradaptasi dan berkembang seiring denganperkembangan musik lain yang ada sehingga dalam perkembangannyalahir warna-warna baru seperti disco dangdut, reggae dangdut, dangdutrock, dangdut jaipong dan lain sebagainya juga memiliki kedudukan yangsama dengan musik lain.Kata Kunci: Musik dangdut,perkembangan,fungsi,keberadaan

Abstract

Rodhat dance is one of the dances used for Bersih Sendang ritual in the slope of Mount Merbabu. This study investigated the role of Rodhat dance in Bersih Sendang ceremony. This study was conducted using qualitative method, and the data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The approach used in this study was anthropological approach. Data analysis techniques in this study were reduced, reformation, and conclusion. The result of this study shows that Rodhat dance is a folk dance used as a means of ritual in the society. The accompaniments of the ritual are sesaji (offerings) and ujuban (prayer). Acculturation occurred due to the mix of the ancestor’s worship tradition and Islamic tradition. The dance is conducted every year to free the spring from bad attitudes of human beings, so that the water in the spring is always available for the welfare of the local society. With the plentiful water, the people is happy because their farm is irrigated. Bersih sendang ritual is an expression of gratitude to The Creator who has given His gift to the people living in Gunungan Lor, Jeruk village, Sela sub-district, Boyolali regency.

Abstract

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is a genius figure and professionals in the field of musiccomposition. In addition to a composition he is also an expert in playing musicalinstruments, violin and harpsichord. He have many works of instrumental musiccomposition, vocal, even to the form of a symphony orchestra with choir produced. Somegreat works that have been created is a composition for string quartet chamber music.Eine Kleine Nachtmusik K.525 is one of his works, which is still often heard in thecorners of the world. The composition of this string quartet has a character andcharacteristics of light music and lively, so well known in the community. In this case, theauthor tried to assess Eine Kleine Nachtmusik in the development and function of thepresentation is still sound and well-known in this modern era. To discuss this paper usedqualitative methods with descriptive analysis, the approach to musicology. Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran musik di taman kanak-kanak pemanfaatan media musik menjadi bagian penting dalam membantu pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian di TK Hjh. Isriari dan TK Negeri Pembina Semarang diperoleh informasi bahwa di kalangan guru sudah memanfaatkan berbagai bentuk media musik dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajarannya. Di TK Hjh. Isriari pemanfaatan media musik oleh guru kelas berbentuk komposisi musik dan perlengkapan elektronik, sedangkan alat musik baru digunakan oleh guru ekstrakurikuler. Pengembangan media musik oleh guru mencakup memodifikasi syair lagu, mencipta lagu dan memanfaatan perlenglengkapan elektronik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Sedangkan di TK Negeri Pembina Semarang pemamanfaatan media musik oleh guru kelas juga mencakup pemanfaatan media musik yang berbentuk komposisi musik, alat .musik, dan perlengkapan elektronik. Sedangkan pengembangan media musik yang dilakukan oleh guru antara lain meliputi memodifikasi syair lagu, mencipta lagu sederhana, memanfaatkan alat musik ritmis dalam kegiatan ritmik dan bernyanyi, serta memanfaatan perlengkapan elektronik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kata kunci: media musik; pengembangan; aplikasi; taman kanak-kanak.

Abstract

Seni pertunjukan merupakan salah satu manivest dari kebudayaan yang awal mulanya  dikenal sebagai seni tontonan.  Seni pertunjukan mulai menjadi perhatian setelah meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat dan anggautanya untuk merefleksikan dirinya dalam berbagai medium. Diperlukan penelitian yang seksama dari berbagai disiplin  ilmu sosial terutama sosiologi seni untuk memperkuat landasan teori yang akan dibangun. Deskripsi sebagai sebuah model penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Sosiologi seni merupakan salah model analisis yang memadai. Seni pertunjukan merupakan proses dan produk kreatifitas pencipatan seniman berkaitan erat dengan masyarakat pendukungnya. Seni Pertunjukan rentan dalam ruang, waktu dan alat, sehingga kecermatan peneliti sebagai instrumen penelitian menjadi kunci untuk mengambil kesimpulan yang tepat. Performing arts is one manifestation of culture that was once known as a showbiz. Performing arts began to attract people’s interest since people and their members found the need for reflecting themselves in many kinds of medium. It is necessary to have a thorough study from various social sciences especially Art Sociology to bolster theoretical foundation. Description as a qualitative research model by means of Art Sociology approach is an appropriate analysis model. Performing arts is a process and a creative product of the artist in accordance with their supporting community. Performing arts is susceptible to space, time, and tools so that a researcher’s accuracy as a research instrument becomes the key to make a correct decision.

Abstract

Wayang kulit purwa surakarta telah berkembang dengan berbagai konsep garap.Pakeliraqn garap semalam lebih mantap, banyak mengandung nilai simbolis. Simbolismepakeliran terjadi pada semua tokoh wayang, garap catur, gerak dan juga garappendukungnya. Adegan jejer I, pedatonan dan perang gagal merupakan Simbolisme dariperjuangan hidup manusia sewaktu masih muda, ungkapan-ungkapan yang digunakanrelative lebih simbolis. Tinadakan simbolis juga terjadi pada aspek penanggap wayang,dalang, pembuat properties wayang, dan paraga pengiring pertunjukkan wayang.Kata kunci: Wayang kulit simbolisme, surakarta.
