The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. Abstract

The objective of this research is to improve accounting students’ creativity and achievement in the lesson of journalizing on XB class in SMK PL Tarcisius 2 Semarang in the Academic Year of 2011/2012 by PAKU media. It was a class action research which designed in two cycles. The subjects of the study were students of class XB in SMK Tarcisius 2 Semarang in the academic year of 2011/2012. The objects of this research were accounting learning creativity and accounting academic achievement. The data were collected by documentation, observation and tests. The results showed that (1) accounting learning creativity in learning journalizing  by PAKU media increased up to 12% from the initial condition to the first cycle, and rose 11% from the first cycle to the second cycle and 23% from the initial condition to the second cycle. (2) students’ accounting academic achievement in learning journalizing  by PAKU media also increased up to 25% from the initial condition to the first cycle, rose 17%  from the first cycle to the second cycle, and 42% from the initial condition to the second cycle.

Abstract

Kurikulum 2004 yang berorientasi pada kompetensi, mensyaratkan agar peserta didik menguasai dan mengembangkan kemampuan yang diperoleh selama proses pengajaran. Sebagai suatu institusi pendidikan, sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) yang menitikberatkan pada pembelajaran yang bersifat praktis terfokus dalam membekali peserta didiknya dengan ketrampilan-ketrampilan yang dibutuhkan oleh pasar (dunia usaha dan industri). Karena tujuan utama dari sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) adalah menyiapkan lulusannya agar siap memasuki dunia kerja. Penggunaan media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) jurusan perkantoran terutama dalam mata diklat manajemen perkantoran tidak terlepas dengan teknologi informasi yaitu computer dan internet. Dengan penggunaan teknologi informasi maka dapat tercipta pembelajaran yang interaktif. Implementasi penggunaan media pembelajaran mata diklat manajemen perkantoran yang berbasis teknologi informasi di SMK jurusan perkantoran menemui hambatan. Abstract

This research aims to how the use model problem based learning and whether model problem based learning can improving the analysis ability. The subject of this research is the class X IIS1 SMA N 1 Bandongan Kabupaten Magelang. The background of this research is the lack of improving the analysis ability, more over because the learning method that isused is not appropriateto use the oral speech without variation while the characteris annalistic and aplicatif. This studyis anaction research conducted in two cycles. The research finding showed that the percentage of activity of students in learning cycle I with good category and on cycle II increased with very good category, the percentage of the activity of the teacher in the learning cycle I that good category and on cycle II increased with very good category, the average grade achieved in cycle I with good category and on cycle II the average grade increased with very good category.

Abstract

The low students’ activeness level in the teaching and learning process willinfluence students’ achievement. Choosing the varied and appropriate learning methodis very important for the success of teaching and learning process. The purpose of thisstudy was to enhance the students’ activeness and students’ learning outcomes at thetopic of Fixed Assets Depreciation by using cooperative learning with match boxmethod, especially for students of class XI AK 2 at SMK N 2 Blora. It was a classroomaction research. The methods of the study were observation and evaluation. The resultsof the research showed that match box method can increase students’ activeness.Students’ activeness was only 71.05% at the beginning and after using the match boxmethod, it rose up to 84.21% and was successful to improve students’ learningoutcomes because students’ learning completeness rose from 28.95% to 65.79% .

Abstract

This paperhas objectives firstly, to explore the use of information and communication technology in accounting learning by vocational high schools used by vocational high schools teachers in Semarang City. The result showed that there were three ICT which mostly used by the accounting teacher. They were spreadsheet software like MS Excel to save grad, notes, etc, etc., computer laboratory based on learning, and word software like MS Word. Meanwhile, the most rarely ICT used by them were teleconference based on learning, online discussion with colleges and data analysis software like SPSS program. The complementary result showed that there was no significant  difference of ICT used by them were teleconference based on learning, online discussion with colleges and data analysis software like SPSS program. The complementary result showed that there was no significant difference of ICT used by teachers based on gender and teacher certification. This research suggests the decision makers to improve the intensity and quality of ICT in accounting learning process. Thus; it is expected that the further research can explain the determinant use of ICT

Abstract

The result of teaching-learning by using Think Pair Share method can improve the students’ activities. It can be seen from the steps to apply the Think Pair Share method that focused on student-centre. Think pair share learning has a simple structure, as a basic of the development ‘cooperative class’ which can help the learning process actively for students, thus it can improve the students’ study result. Students actively can show their ability to discuss and share and express the answer of questions in front of the class. Teachers in teaching- learning process by using think pair share method acted as mediator, facilitator and motivator. It is different with conventional teaching-learning process which focused on teacher-center. Students were passive in teaching-learning process. Students tended to be bored if the teacher was lack to give motivation for students to pay attention to the teacher. Thus, the using of think pair share would be more effective if we see on how the students interaction in learning process. Teacher can vary think pair share with conventional method or other method to improve the students’ activities in learning process, therefore the students’ result study will be increased.   Keywords: Think-pair-share, the increase of result study.

Intention of research this is to improve quality of study of public relations, to increase the spirit of learning student, to uplift skill teacher in developing model and study media and to increase the achievement learn student. Abstract

The statements of the problem are (1) How is the student’s perception due to  teacher’s ability in teaching on 2nd in class administration office education program at Palebon Vocational School Semarang (2) How is the student’s perception due to the class management toward students’ learning achievement  on 2nd class in Vocational School Palebon Semarang?, (3) How is the student’s perception due to teacher’s ability in  teaching and class management toward students’ learning achievement  on 2nd class in  administration office education program at Palebon Vocational School Semarang, the objectives of this research are : (1) to analyze the student’s perception due to the influence of teacher’s skill in teaching  toward learning achievement on 2nd class at Vocational School Palebon Semarang. (2) to analyze the student’s perception due to the influence class management toward learning achievement on 2nd class in Vocational School Palebon Semarang. (3) to analyze the student’s perception due to the ability of teaching and class management toward learning achievement on 2nd class administration office education program in Palebon Vocational School Semarang. The population of this research was students of 2nd class in office administration program with the number was 60 students. Result of study showed that the ability of learning and class management was in a good category. This can be seen from the percentage of 61,7%.  Teaching and class management was 58,3%, it was a very good category. Thus, The research gave a significant contribution towards learning achievement with multiple regression analysis: from the a regression analysis equality Y =  4,937 + 0,020 X1 +  0,024X2. The percentage effect of teaching ability towards learning achievement according determination coeficient value is 32,4%. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that student’s perception by the ability of learning  was in a very good category for 61,7 %. Besides that, the influence of teaching ability and class management was 10,3%. Thus, it is suggested that teachers should improve their teaching method, and can apply the teaching equipment and media. Key words: management class, teacher’s ability in teaching

Abstract

This research aims to know the effectiveness of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model comparing to Drill Model on Intermediate Financial Accounting subject. The research was a quasi-experimental research. Population was four classes of Accounting Education students in the year of 2014/2015 at Faculty of Educational Science and Teaching of Riau Islamic University (UIR). Sample was taken by using purposive sampling. Then, it used Problem Based Learning (PBL) at experimental class and Drill Model at controlled class. Data was collected by using interview, observation, and tests (pre-test and post-test). Moreover, data were analyzed by using independent sample test. Findings show that there is no any difference of learning outcomes between students who taught by Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model and Drill Model on Intermediate Financial Accounting.

Abstract

The Economics learning in SMP Nasima Semarang did not use an approach which involved students’ roles and potencies. Thus, it needs the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model and Digital Word Square technique through class action research to solve the problem. The data showed that students’ activities such as motivation and activeness on the 1st cycle and 2nd cycle increased significantly. Whereas, the average of evaluation test result on the 1st cycle was 6.00 and rose to 8.57 on the 2nd cycle. It increased up to 29.98%. Based on the data above, It can be seen that the STAD learning model and DigitalWord Square technique was effective to improve students’ competencies to understand the concept of Money and Banks for the 9th Grade of SMP Nasima’s Students in the academic year of 2011/2012.
