Abstract

The problems to be solved in this study are: (1) The types of academic and student services are provided by the Social Sciences Faculty?, (2) how far principles of public service pinsip applied in the Social Sciences Faculty provides academic and student services?, ( 3) Sejaumanakah academic and student services are organized Social Sciences Faculty is based on the Standard Public Service?, (4) How big is the level of customer satisfaction (students, stakehoulder, and communities) to academic and student services provided by the Social Sciences Faculty?. The purpose of this research is to solve the problems mentioned above.This research took the location of the Social Sciences Faculty, especially in the areas of student services at  the 2nd foor of Building C7. Object of  this  research  is excellent service performance demonstrated by the Social Sciences Faculty (FIS) Unit of analysis is the study of service providers implementing academic and student who coordinated the FIS and the Head of the TU leadership ranks of the faculty involved. The things that will be examined and dianalis in this study are: (1) the forms of academic services (booking courses, KRS printing, etc.), (2) application of the principles of public service organized by the Social Sciences Faculty , (3) application of public service standards in the service of academic and student affairs, (4) measuring the level of customer satisfaction (students and other stakehoulder) for academic and student services provided by the Social Sciences Faculty (FIS).Source of research data is the primary and secondary. A primary source is data obtained from the FIS service providers and students. Study sample as many as 96 people obtained by snowball sampling technique and incidental sampling. Secondary data obtained from the database of students, faculty profles, and SOP academic and student affairs. This research data collected through questionnaires, observation, interviews, and Focused Group Discussion (FGD). To test the validity of data, used triangulation methods. Further data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. From the results of research and feld fndings, it can be concluded the following things: (1) academic and student services provided by the Social Sciences Faculty is in conformity with principles, principles, and service standards as set by the government, (2) students and stakeholders Other interests satisfed with the services provided by the Social Sciences Faculty, (3) the general performance of the Faculty of Social services better, but in some service elements still need improvement, namely the responsibilities of staff, assurance / compliance costs of service, speed of service, and certainty / precision service schedule. Based on our research, suggested the need for increased responsibility and speed of service by way of: (a) The unit leader should coordinate and synchronize routine tasks, (b) the leadership of the faculty and administration (the administration) should do the monitoring and evaluation of staff performance or employees, (c) the need for a refresher and increase staff competence in accordance with its tasks through

Abstract

One of the implementations of Multiple Intelligences (MI) theory is to view all students intelligent in their own talents. This concept has replaced the concept of intelligence Quotient (IQ) which unconsciously has differentiated students to be intelligent and stupid. This concept, in the past, became one of the barriers for the “stupid” students to get their education appropriately, and this was clearly to be in the contrary with the philosophy of Education for All (EFA), for every student, whatever their “intelligences” are, has his/her right to get the basic education. The advantage of the implementation of “Multiple Intelligences” concept on learning instruction is that this concept uses developmental approach, therefore it focuses more on the students’ strengths to be developed; while the concept of “Intellectual Intelligence” still uses  remedial approach, therefore it focuses more on the students’ weaknesses to be remedied. This approach is also in the contrary with the learning principle of the Behaviorism which considers “reward” in higher priority than “punishment” in learning process. Abstract

Perjanjian bagi hasil tanah pertanian  dalam Undang-undang Nomor 2 Tahun 1960 tentang Perjanjian Bagi Hasil, tidak dapat dilaksanakan oleh masyarakat petani. Kabupaten Ngawi yang masyarakatnya bermatapencaharian di bidang pertanian, masih melaksanakan perjanjian bagi hasil tanah pertanian, tetapi  tidak didasarkan pada UU tersebut. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah yuridis empiris, spesifikasi penelitian bersifat deskriptif analitis, sumber data adalah data primer dan sekunder, teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara,  dan studi kepustakaan,  dan dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian: 1) Pelaksanaan perjanjian bagi hasil tanah pertanian di Kabupaten Ngawi tidak berdasarkan Undang-undang Bagi Hasil, tetapi berdasarkan hukum adat. Bentuk perjanjian  tidak tertulis berdasarkan kesepakatan para pihak, tidak ada saksi dan tidak dilakukan dihadapan Kepala Desa, serta tidak ada ketentuan jangka waktu berakhirnya perjanjian. 2) Hambatan yang timbul adalah bahwa para petani tidak mengetahui adanya undang-undang dan berdasarkan kebiasaan setempat berasaskan kepercayaan. 3). Peraturan ke depan hendaknya harus mengindahkan nilai-nilai hokum adat, yang bersifat konkrit dan kontan dan undang-undang bagi hasil tanah pertanian seharusnya diganti.

Abstract

Indonesian state, with the culture of patriarchy inherent in community life, always put women in positions that are diffcult and cornered. With his power, often state that does not make policy gender sensitive. Including today, where the bill becomes law product APP disturbing for some people. This study raised  the  issue about How Semarang citizen opinion about  the Pornoaction and pornography? How Semarang citizen opinion about the content of RUU APP and position of women in society? What factors are inhibiting the implementation of the bill into law APP? The purpose of this study was to determine public opinion of the Semarang citizen about Pornoaction and pornography, knowing the public opinion of the Semarang citizen about the content of bill APP and the position of women in society and what factors are inhibiting the implementation of the bill into law APP. The results of this study is the emergence of the Draft Law on Anti-pornography and Pornoaction, provides an illustration of the growing infuence of the state to the women’s bodies. This led to a public anxiety about the position of women is increasingly cornered. Pros and cons of the contents of the Bill of APP caused by multiple interpretations of the contents of the articles RUU APP. In addition, also due to the assessment and perspectives of different communities about the content of this RUU APP. Community pro Semarang RUU APP argues that the existence of RUU APP can protect the nation from moral destruction, especially for the younger generation. While that does not agree with the existence of this bill due to cultural differences, as well as the position of women that are cornered.Keywords: Pornography, Pornoaction

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas modul ekonomi dengan pendekatan saintifik yang telah dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang berpedoman pada model Borg & Gall dengan tahap yaitu tahap pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap pengujian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri Mandailing Natal. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan SPSS. Uji lapangan operasional menggunakan  desain one group pretest – postest design. Analisis hasil tes belajar siswa di analisis dengan menggunakan uji t-test (independent samples test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: keefektifan modul pelajaran ekonomi dengan pendekatan saintifik menunjukan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan modul yang dikembangkan sebesar 85,00 dari sebelumnya sebesar 65,00, dan kelas kontrol memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 78,00 dari sebelumnya 66,00. Nilai tersebut menunjukan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara efektif.

Abstract

This article tried to discuss the optimization of village potential in the tourism sector. It started with the assumption that changing a village into a tourist village would have a good impact on economic and socio-cultural aspects. This research was conducted in Pejagatan Village, Kutowinangun Sub-district, Kebumen Regency, which is basically a tourism village with the main product of pottery. The discussion emphasized the need for efforts to understand the characteristics and local elements in the village before determining the direction of the policy to be developed. Besides, the participation aspect of the community became the second part in an effort to discuss the optimization of a village's potential. This research was carried out utilizing a qualitative method with case studies as an effort to explore the main data. This method was accompanied by looking at previous studies and related documentation as supporting data.

Abstract

There is a harmony formed between congregations in BalapulangKulon village. This article intends to study a form of harmony and socio-cultural factors that influence the occurrence of the harmony. This study uses qualitative methods. Location of the study wasBalapulangKulon village, Tegal regency. Subjects were resident congregations and local Muslims. Research informants are boards of Gereja Kristen Jawa (Javanese Christian Church) Slawi, Islamic religion leaders and village officials. Data collection techniques used is observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data usessource triangulation techniques. Techniques of data analysis include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Form of harmony between the Muslim and church congregations in BalapulangKulon village is a joint effort and deliberation. Socio-cultural factors are the same region of residence, kinship, tolerance, community performance position, economic interests, self-awareness, and education. Suggestion for BalapulangKulon village government should be able to provide the same rights in society for Muslims and Javanese Christian Church congregation in Slawi and eliminate domination efforts against Christianity who belong to minorities so that inter-religious harmony can be maintained.

Abstract

Nikah siri is not a new phenomenon in Indonesia, but based on positive law and Marriage Act 1974 violate norms despite siri marriage in Islam is a legitimate action in accordance with the terms valid throughout the wedding. The act of marriage siri is not   only done in certain circles, people with socio-economic and educational status of established, can not be separated from action siri marriage.  Negative implications posed by siri siri marriage but marriage still exist and flourish in society, because marriage siri functional for the culprit. various factors that shape a person to take action siri marriage, for example; strict rules state certified, and low levels of economic hardship, low education, knowledge of the concept of marriage, and personal experience.

Abstract

Growing informal sector in urban areaswas not only in volve adultage group, but also involves theage groupof children. The participation of children in the informal sector because of the high level of competition, the difficulty of life, and economic conditions in the city. The economic conditions areall difficult, all family members, including children, are required toseek additional income. Prolonged economic crisis makes the kidsdo the work they should not be doing. Empirically, the involve ment of children in informal economic activities as collector stend to beprone to premature exploitation and can interfere with their physical, psychological and social development. This study aims to examine the forms of violence and survival mechanism saga in stacts of violence against the childs cavengers in Surabaya. This study used qualitative method stotake a placein the Location Landfill Waste (LLW) in Surabaya. Informants selected accidentaland continued with thes now ball method. Data were collected by using observation andin-depth interviews, and thenanalyzed using descriptive analysis. This study shows that the child scavengersin LPA Sampah Surabaya have experienced violence, both physical abuse (beatings), psychological (insult, aspersion); economic violence (exploitation) and sexual violence (sexual abuse). Experiences cavenger children against violenceled to strategies to survive (survival mechanism), both just resigned to do ing resistance.

Abstract

The aim of this study : (1) to determine the teacher competence in analizing Silabus that contain the point of multicultural; (2) to determine the teacher competence in order to make a Lesson Plan in multicultural basic; and (3) to determine the teacher competence in learning of sociology in multicultural basic. The result of this study showed: (1) The teacher is still analizing the basic competence and learning the point of multicultural, (2) The teacher is still difficult to make a Lesson Plan in multicultural basic; and (3) The multicultural basic made it difficult for teacher to learning and doing by themself. From this study finding that professional competence learning in sociology based on multicultural is still relatively low, so we can derive the suggestions as follows: (1) analize basic competence and learning education training which containing the point of multicultural; (2) training how to make the Lesson Plan in multicultural basic, especially inhow to find the purpose of the learning, how to choose and organize the point of the learning, how to choose the effective source for the learning, approximation methode for the learning and the final evaluation from the learning methode; and (3) training methode sociology in how to planing, doing, and evaluation in based on multicultural learning.
