Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengaktifkan siswa dalammengembangkan kemampuan berpikir dan menyelesaikan masalah. Populasi penelitianadalah siswa kelas XI IPA 3 SMA 6 Semarang yang berjumlah 42 siswa. Hasil penelitian padasiklus I menunjukkan kesiapan dan keaktifan siswa dalam kategori cukup, serta rata-ratahasil belajar dan ketuntasan belajar masing-masing sebesar 62 dan 61,90%. Pada siklus II,kesiapan dan keaktifan siswa meningkat dibandingkan siklus I menjadi kategori baik, sertarata-rata hasil belajar dan ketuntasan belajar masing-masing sebesar 68,3 dan 78,57%.Hasil penelitian pada siklus III meningkat dibandingkan dengan siklus II, yaitu kesiapan dankeaktifan siswa tergolong baik, serta rata-rata hasil belajar dan ketuntasan belajar masingmasingsebesar 71,4 dan 88,09%. Dengan hasil tersebut berarti penelitian yang dilakukantelah mencapai indikator keberhasilan penelitian yaitu 85% dari seluruh siswa memperolehnilai e” 65. Siswa menyambut positif strategi pembelajaran yang diimplementasikan. Kata Kunci : hasil belajar, IQRO, problem posing

Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang sangat penting diajarkan kepada siswa.Inkuiridapatdijadikansebagaisalahsatupendekatan yang dapatmewadahipengembangankemampuanberpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar hidrolisis garam bermuatan karakter berbasis inkuiri terbimbing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test design. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan meliputi (1) pendefinisian (define), (2) perencanaan (design), (3) pengembangan (develop). Subjekimplementasi pada penelitianiniadalahsiswakelas XI SMANegeri 1 Mandor (Kalimantan Barat)tahunpelajaran 2014/2015.Instrumen dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) instrumen lembar wawancara guru (analisis kebutuhan); (2) instrumen penilaian/uji ahli terhadap produk bahan ajar yang dikembangkan; (3) instrumen soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa materi hidrolisis garam; (4) instrumen lembar observasi afektif siswa; (6) instrumen lembar observasi psikomotor siswa; dan (7) instrumen lembar angket respon siswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar hidrolisis garam bermuatan karakter berbasis inkuiri terbimbing yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria valid dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa secara signifikan, serta mendapat respon positif dari siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran Treffinger berbantuan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar siswa SMA pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Model pembelajaran Treffinger berbantuan LKS membantu siswa lebih aktif dan kreatif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest only control design. Hasil posttest kelas eksperimen memperoleh rata-rata 80,72 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol memperoleh rata-rata 71,17. Dari data tersebut diperoleh persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 87,5 % dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 40,63 %. Kelas eksperimen telah mencapai ketuntasan klasikal tetapi pada kelas kontrol belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Treffinger berbantuan lembar kerja siswa dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa SMA pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Model pembelajaran Treffinger berbantuan LKS tidak hanya meningkatkan hasil belajar aspek kognitif saja, tetapi aspek afektif dan psikomotorik juga meningkat.This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the learning model Treffinger aided student worksheet to high school students to get greater learning outcomes on material solubility and solubility product. Treffinger assisted student worksheet help students to be more active and creative in learning. This research is an experimental research and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study used a posttest only design control design. Posttest results of the experimental group gained an average of 80.72, while the control group gained an average of 71.17. These data showed the gain percentage of classical completeness in the experimental group is 87.5% and in the control group is 40.63%. Experimental group has reached classical completeness, but not yet the control group. The conclusion of this study is Treffinger model aided student worksheet can increase student learning outcomes on the material solubility and solubility product. The learning model Treffinger aided student worksheet not only improve learning outcomes on cognitive aspects, but also in affective and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

Practicum taken place in schools is still verification, just to prove a concept or principle  that has been previously studied, resulting in not developing science process skills. Therefore, learning strategy is required to improve the students' science process skills by inquiry-based lab methods. This study aimed to obtain information science process skills improvement class X after applying the inquiry-based lab hydrocarbon material. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. Science process skills were measured using written tests and observation. The results show the value of KPS experimental class better than the control class. Measurements obtained by testing the highest increase in the experimental class and control class in predicting indicators, while the lowest increase in the experimental class and control class hypotheses indicator on the indicator hypothesis. Through observation of KPS, obtained the highest increase in the experimental class and control class observing indicators on communication indicator, while the lowest increase in the experimental class on asking questions and the control class on classification indicator. The results of KPS showed the increase of experimental class higher than the control class. Students give positive response to the inquiry-based learning lab at the hydrocarbon material because it gives students the chance to participate actively, and increase student motivation. Based on studies, it concluded that lab-based inquiry can improve the students' KPS. Keywords: Inquiry, Science Process Skills, Practicum

Abstract

Learning with the conventional method make competency achievement in chemistry subject is still low. This study aimed to determine the effect of Model Cooperative Class Experiment (CCE) type Team Games Tournament (TGT) on CBC and Learning Outcomes on high school students in the topic of redox reactions. Sample determination was using cluster random sampling technique, class X8 grade students is as the experimental class and X7 class is as control class. The method used in data collection is documentation, in the form of multiple choice test and an essay in the form of open-ended questions and observations. The results showed that analysis of CBC data test achieved fifth subindikator CBC in the experimental class gained an average of 73.75%, which means that students can develop CBC with good criterion, while the control class with an average of 64.68% in the CBC is sufficient criteria. The analysis data obtained rb 0.51 with the contribution of 26.29%. The results of this study concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model Class Experi ment (CCE) Study Team Games Tournament (TGT) type have signiffican effect on CBC and student learning outcomes in high school in Semarang on the redox subject with the contribution of 26.29%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengunakan model LSQ dan SRL. Permasalahan yang dikaji apakahada perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan model LSQ dengansiswa yang belajar menggunakan model SRL pada pokok materi larutan penyangga danmanakah hasil belajar yang lebih baik dari keduanya. Populasi adalah siswa kelas XI programstudi ilmu alam (PSIA) semester 2 yang berjumlah 243 siswa. Dengan teknik cluster randomsampling diperoleh sampel kelas XI PSIA-1 yang berjumlah 41 siswa (kelompok eksperimen1) yang belajar menggunakan model LSQ dan kelas XI PSIA-2 yang berjumlah 42 siswa(kelompok eksperimen 2) yang belajar menggunakan model SRL. Hasil uji t pada uji duapihak nilai post test diperoleh thitung = 4,144 dan untuk α = 5% dan dk= (41+42-2)= 81 diperoleht(0,975)(81)= 1,994. Karena thitung≥ t(0,975)(81) maka H0 ditolak, hal ini berarti ada perbedaanhasil belajar antara kelompok eksperimen 1 dengan kelompok eksperimen 2. Pada uji t satupihak diperoleh thitung = 4,144 dan untuk α = 5% dan dk= (41+42-2)= 81 diperoleh t(0,95)(81)=1,665. Karena thitung t(0,95)(81) maka H0 ditolak, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajarkimia siswa yang belajar menggunakan model LSQ lebih baik daripada siswa yang belajarmenggunakan model SRL. Kata Kunci: Learning Start With a Question, Self Regulated Learning

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kimiaberbantuan komputer antara yang berpendekatan chemo-edutainment (CET) denganyang tidak berpendekatan CET untuk materi pokok laju raksi pada siswa kelas XI SMAN11 Semarang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik random sampling, dandiperoleh siswa kelas XI-IA 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI-IA 2 sebagaikelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dantes. Analisis data terdiri atas analisis tahap awal dan analisis tahap akhir. Faktor yang ditelitiadalah peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif yang diukur dengan tes obyektif. Dari hasil penelitiandapat disimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar kimia berbantuankomputer antara yang diberi pendekatan CET dengan yang tidak diberi pendekatan CETdan peningkatan hasil belajar kimia berbantuan komputer yang diberi pendekatan CET lebihbaik daripada yang tidak diberi pendekatan CET untuk materi pokok laju reaksi pada siswakelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Semarang.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar kimia, pembelajaran berbantuan komputer, chemo-edutainment

Abstract

Kimia merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari- hari, dari segi lingkungan teknologi, maupun masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan modul pembelajaran kimia bervisi SETS berorientasi CEP pada materi larutan asam basa yang layak dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar, minat wirausaha, dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Uji coba kelayakan produk pada penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MA Mu’allimin Mu’allimat dengan model penelitian one group pre-test and post-test design dan di MAN Rembang dengan model penelitian pre-test and post-test control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan metode validasi, observasi, dokumentasi, tes, dan skala Likert. Hasil validasi ahli materi, ahli media, dan praktisi menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran kimia bervisi SETS berorientasi CEP sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia dengan skor ratarata pada aspek kegrafikan 95,00, aspek penyajian 95,33, aspek kebahasaan 95,00, dan aspek kegrafikan 94,44. Hasil uji coba modul di MA Mu’allimin Mu’allimat menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi 20%, minat wirausaha 25%, dan hasil belajar siswa 79%. Uji coba modul di MAN Rembang peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, minat wirausaha, dan hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 27%, 17% dan 66%, sedangkan peningkatan kelas kontrol secara berturutturut 0,4%, 11%, dan 24%.Chemistryis one of the subjects related to everyday life, in terms of environmental technology, and society. The purpose of this research is to produce visionary chemistry learning modules SETS with CEP oriented on acid-base materials which properly and effectively use in learning to improve learning motivation, entrepreneurial interest, and student learning outcomes. This research is development reaserch. Testing the product viability on the research carried out in MA Mu'allimin Mu'allimat with research model are one group pre-test and post-test design and in MAN Rembang with pre-test and post-test control group design. Data obtained by the validation, observation, documentation, testing, and Likert scale method. Validation results or matter experts, media experts, and practitioners shows that the chemistry learning modules with SETS vision and CEP oriented very fit for using in teaching chemistry with an average score on the graphical aspect 95.00, presentation aspects 95.33, linguistic aspects of 95.00, and graphical aspects 94.44. The module trial results in MA Mu'allimin Mu'allimat showed the increase of motivation 20%, interest in self-employment 25%, and student learning outcomes 79%. Module test in MAN Rembang increased the student motivation, entrepreneurial interest, and student learning outcomes in experimental class by 27%, 17% and 66%, whereas the increase in the control class, respectively 0.4%, 11% and 24%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of inquiry-based learning Group Investigation Guided influential in improving learning outcomes of chemistry in competence of Colloid Systems and how the responses of teachers and students towards applied learning. Sampling used cluster random sampling technique, obtained class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and the XI IPA 4 as control class. Retrieval of data used techniques: tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the average grade of experimental  class was higher than the control class based on the test of the right hand, with both of the posttest score of t count  6.89 over t table of 2.00. The results of the analysis of the magnitude of the effect between variables obtained coefficient of determination 73.38%, mean that the inquirybased learning Group Investigation Guided Contributed to increasing students cognitive learning outcomes of 73.38%. On Affective and psychomotor assessment, the average grades of the experimental class learning better than classroom control. Analysis of the questionnaire responses of teachers and students also indicated that inquiry-based learning Group Investigation Guided obtained a good response. This study concluded that the implementation of inquiry-based learning Group Investigation Guided influenced in improving learning outcomes chemistry class XI student with competencies related colloidal systems and obtained good response from teachers and students.Keywords: Group Investigation, Learning Outcomes, Inquiry-Guided

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to describe the efectiveness of using virtual chemistry laboratory to improve the chemistry students’ learning. The subjects of this study were the students at grade I of Tadris Kimia IAIN Walisongo Semarang in the academic year of 2011/2012.The subjects was 40 students. The research uses cluster random sampling technique. Class TK-IA is chosen as experimental class (the students who are taught using virtual chemistry laboratory), and class TK-IB is chosen as control class (the students who are not taught using virtual chemistry laboratory). The result showed that the average score for eksperimental class is 31,4 for the pre test and 74,4 for the post test. While the average for control class is 31,6 for the  pre test and 62,2 for the post test. The calculation using the t-test showed the value of the t-test is higher than the value of the t-table.the value of t-test is 4,332 while the value oft-table on alpha 5% is 2,02 (4,332>2,02). It can be concluded that there is a significant difference in student’s learning between students who are taught using virtual chemistry laboratory than students who are not taught without it. So, we can conclude that using virtual chemistry laboratory is effective to improve the chemistry students’ learning.
