Abstract

This study discusses learning music through flashcard media to instill character values in early childhood at the Indonesian Music School (SMI) Semarang, Program Foundation of Music (FOM). There are 3 (three) main character values that will be discussed in this study. They are the value of discipline, the value of independence and the value of curiosity. The research questions of  this study are the 3 (three) main character values instilled in early childhood in the Program FOM, SMI Semarang. This study uses an Inculcation Approach. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. In addition, the data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that by cultivating 3 (three) main character values; discipline, independence and curiosity, students can implement them and continue to the next stage of development. So that it is in line with the purpose of character education, which is to create superior and dignified student characters.

Abstract

Since October 20, 2022, the Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 36 of 2022 concerning the State University of Legal Entity, Semarang State University, has been issued, which was signed directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ir. Joko Widodo. The management of a legal entity university requires speed and accuracy in processing existing and created archives. Semarang State University, which has transformed from a Public Service Agency University to a State University of Legal Entity, consists of eight Faculties and Postgraduate Programs. Archives management has so far been managed by each processing unit spread across each location of the unit. The processing of these distributed archives is something that really needs to be organized and managed in an orderly, regular and systematic manner. Dynamic archive management and static archives are managed by each unit with models and methods developed by the unit, and with diverse human resources and existing facilities. The fulfillment of archive management which is still decentralized results in the archives stored depending on the facilities and infrastructure owned by each unit. The purpose of this study is to provide a classification of archives managed at each unit level at Semarang State University and used as data for integrated archive management. With the achievement of this data, it is hoped that archive management can be stronger and more agile. The Centralized Model of archive storage in the form of Archives Unit 1 (one) is an effective way to manage and store properly. The renovation of the UPT Archives Building of Semarang State University which was inaugurated by the Chancellor of UNNES on Friday, January 27, 2023 is a momentum to be able to integrate archives throughout UNNES.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an academic crime that greatly disrupts the performance of a University. The creative works of writing created by the academic community of Semarang State University need to be protected for their authenticity. Sometimes students' writings in the process of creating written works in the form of theses, dissertations and dissertations must include other written works as citations to support the novelty of their writing. Since 2021, the Semarang State University Library Unit has been appointed as the gateway for selecting student writings to be submitted to the Final Assignment Examination. Through the procedures that have been prepared, each student who will take the final exam submits online in the form of a document file that will be processed by the Library Unit staff and provide the results of the document. From the documents that have been sent and uploaded in the Turnitin application, a similarity presentation is produced. The results of this similarity make it an interesting material to study the percentage level of the initial writing and the improvements sent in the similarity submission. This study will look at Turnitin data submitted in 2022. The data is 8000 Turnitin submission data and its improvements. From this data, it can be expected that this study aims to determine how effective the use of the Turnitin application is in filtering final assignment writing from students before being tested by the examining committee at the Faculty. After being tested and declared passed, this final assignment will be published in the Unnes repository on the page http://lib.unnes.ac.id . The output produced in this study is targeted to be published in a national journal indexed by Sinta, namely the Journal of Educational Research https://journal.unnes.ac.id/nju/index.php/JPP . This study is expected to be used as a reference for managers of library materials from students' work that are ready to be published so that they are safe from plagiarism.
