Abstract

Abstract:    The  research  of  spatial  and  socio-cultural  changes  as megaurban  impacts  in  urban fringe  area  of  Semarang  has  several  aims:  (1)  to  discover  and  examine  what  factors  cause megaurban process,  (2)  to  find a mechanism or process megaurban place, and  (3)  to  study  the effects of the process (especially spatial, socio-cultural, economics and demography. The  location  of  this  study  is  the  outskirts  of  Semarang.  The  city  was  chosen  because  it  has  a strategic  role.  This  research  will  be  approached  in  an  integrated  paradigm  is  naturalistic  or phenomenology.  This  approach  does  not  mean  denying  the  positivistic  paradigm,  but  instead attempt  to  "complement  each  other."  In  the  understanding  of  positivism,  its main  approach  is  a quantitative method with  key words  such as: hypothesis,  test  the  sample,  population,  deduction, theorem,  generalization,  and  so  on,  whereas  in  a  more  naturalistic  approach  leaning  towards qualitative analysis method. The research concluded that the development of Semarang as a major city in the fields of industry, commerce, services and education have an  impact on suburban areas.  Influence are:  (1) Aspects of demography:  there  is  livelihoods suburbs change  from agriculture  to non-agriculture,  (2) sociocultural  aspects:  acculturation  occurred  between  the  settlers  and  natives  suburbs,  (3)  physical aspects  of  spatial  :  land  conversion  occurs  suburbs,  from  agricultural  land  into  residential  land, trade and industry. Keywords: megaurban, Semarang city, the suburbs, social culture   Abstrak: Penelitian  tentang perubahan spasial dan sosial-budaya sebagai dampak megaurban di daerah pinggiran Kota Semarang memiliki  tujuan:  (1) menemukan dan mengkaji  faktor-faktor apa yang menyebabkan  terjadinya proses megaurban;  (2) menemukan mekanisme kerja atau proses megaurban  berlangsung;  dan  (3)  mengkaji  dampak  yang  timbul  dari  proses  tersebut  (terutama spasial, sosial-budaya, ekonomi dan kependudukan. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah daerah pinggiran Kota Semarang. Kota ini dipilih karena memiliki peran yang  strategis.  Penelitian  ini  akan  didekati  dengan  paradigma  terpadu  secara  naturalistik  atau fenomenologi.  Pendekatan  ini  bukan  berarti  mengingkari  paradigma  positivistik,  namun  justru upaya untuk ”saling melengkapi”. Dalam paham positivisme, pendekatan utamanya adalah metode kuantitatif  dengan  kata-kata  kunci  seperti:  hipotesis,  uji  sampel,  populasi,  deduksi,  dalil, generalisasi,  dan  sebagainya,  sedangkan  dalam  pendekatan  naturalistik  lebih  condong  ke  arah metode analisis kualitatif Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Perkembangan Kota Semarang sebagai kota besar di bidang industri, perdagangan,  jasa dan pendidikan memiliki pengaruh  terhadap daerah-daerah pinggiran kota.  Pengaruh  tersebut  adalah:  (1)  Aspek  kependudukan:  terjadi  pergeseran  mata  pencarian penduduk daerah pinggiran kota dari pertanian ke non pertanian;  (2) aspek sosial budaya:  terjadi akulturasi budaya antara para pendatang dan penduduk asli daerah pinggiran kota; (3) aspek fisik spasial:  terjadi  alih  fungsi  lahan  daerah  pinggiran  kota,  dari  lahan  pertanian  menjadi  lahan permukiman, perdagangan dan industri. Abstract

Public city transportation is an integral part of the system of the city that make both interaction between the pattern of area with the system of transportation. If the public transportation is bad, so the captive group will try to fulfill necessity of transpotation service becomes choice group which usually happen in the cuty. In preparation of the system of public transportation service involve user, operator and regulator. Regulator is a controller between operator and user, to instruct the performance system in operational technic or financial economic and give the specification for the system of public transportation. The diserection of policy becomes a standard for the grade of public transportation supply which leader by service concept, with anticipate a number of challenge in order to get a dracnetion whicih can answer the problem effectivelly and correctly.Pelayanan angkutan umum perkotaan merupakan bagian integral dari sistem kota yang menyusun interankasi timbal balik antara pola tata guna lahan dengan suatu sistem transportasi. Bila pelayanan angkutan umum itu buruk, maka kelompok captive akan berusaha memenuhi kebutuhan jasa transportasi menjadi kelompok choice yang banyak terjadi di masyarakat perkotaan. Dalam penyelenggaraan sistem pelayanan angkutan umum itu melibatkan user (pengguna), operator (pengusaha) dan regulator (pemerintah). Regulator sebagai pihak pengontrol antara operator dan user, mengkaji performansi sistem dalam teknik operasional maupun ekonomi finansial, dan memberikan spesifikasi bagi sistem pelayanan sistem angkutan umum. Kebijakan regulator menjadi tolak ukur bagi tingkat pelayanan suplai transportasi umum yang dilandasi oleh konsep pelayanan, dengan mengantisipasi sejumlah tantangan agar kebijakan yang diambil dapat menjawab secara tepat dan efektif.

Abstract

Prestressed concrete with reinforcement of waste tires can improve significantly the flexural strength. The problems when applied in the project is difficult to move from the production site to the location of the structure. One method to overcome this is applied precast segmental. Molded concrete blocks with a shorter length is easy to carry to the project site. Connectors between concrete beams segment plays a very important thing. This study tried to determine the influence of length of connectors on the precast segmental concrete. Three specimens are concrete beam with no connections, segmental concrete blocks with a connection length of 10 cm and 15 used in the experiment. Flexural testing was conducted to determine the carrying capacity of the three beams. The result showed that the length of the connection contribute on flexural strength of concrete beam. However, segmental concrete beam flexural capacity was still below the concrete beam flexural capacity without connection. Beton prategang bertulangan limbah ban dapat meningkatkan kuat lentur yang cukup besar. Kendalanya ketika diaplikasikan di lapangan adalah kesulitan memindahkan dari tempat pengecoran ke lokasi struktur. Salah satu metode untuk mengatasi ini digunakanlah pracetak segmental. Balok beton dicetak dengan ukuran panjang yang pendek sehingga mudah dibawa ke lokasi proyek. Penyambung antara segmen balok beton memegang peranan yang sangat penting. Studi ini mencoba mengetahui pengaruh panjang sambungan pada jenis sambungan yang sudah tertentu. Tiga buah benda uji yaitu balok beton tanpa sambungan, balok beton segmental dengan panjang sambungan 10 cm dan 15 digunakan dalam eksperimen. Pengujian lentur dilakukan untuk mengetahui kapasitas dukung ketiga balok tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa panjang sambungan berpengaruh terhadap kuat lentur balok beton segemental. Namun kapasistas lentur balok beton segmental masih dibawah kapasitas lentur balok beton tanpa sambungan.

Abstract

The increase in population in Semarang City affects the trends in land use. Limited availability of land in contrast to the increasing demand for land has prompted residents to choose a place to live in a location not following its designation. Several settlements in Semarang City have developed in disaster-prone locations. This study aimed to determine the characteristics of settlements in disaster-prone areas, including aspects of land use, levels of vulnerability to natural hazards, and settlement distribution patterns. The research is a descriptive quantitative study with a spatial approach and utilizes images from remote sensing and Geographic Information systems (GIS). The results show that the settlements covering an area of 5,577 hectares or 33.5% of the total settlement area of Semarang City are in disaster-prone areas. Most disaster-prone areas have a moderate level of vulnerability. There are three patterns of settlement distribution in the study area, namely clustered, random, and dispersed patterns. Most districts in Semarang City have a random pattern of disaster-prone settlements. The settlement distribution pattern reflects the characteristics of each disaster-prone area.

Abstract

Abstract. Square columns is a rectangular column which has a single stirrup shape and wide distances in - between. In addition, the round column is a column with a spiral section and has a relatively short distance or a relatively smaller distance in - between. Parameters in column planning include reinforcement requirements, column slenderness, buckling factors, interaction diagrams, and ductility. The study used existing rectangular column data with dimensions of 3.5x3.5 m from Kali Kendeng Bridge in the Semarang-Surakarta Toll Road Construction Project. From the field data, variations in the shape of the columns became rounded columns by calculating the moment of inertia of the two cross sections. Variations in dimensions was performed by calculating reinforcement ratio requirements, aiming to produce an effective column design. The first step is to analyze the bridge loading with earthquake loading SNI for the 2833: 2016 bridge and SNI loading for the bridge 1725: 2016. After that, do the calculation of reinforced concrete column requirements and be checked through the SAP2000 application. Then analyze SAP2000 output, so that the moment and shear forces are obtained in square and round columns. Then with the same material that is 30 MPa quality concrete and 390 MPa quality steel, the results obtained slenderness, bending factor and the radius of inertia between square and round columns are the same. The maximum moment value in a square column is 60704.8718 kN-m and the maximum shear is 2358.14 kN. In addition, the round column obtained a maximum moment of 60685.1944 kN-m and a maximum shear of 2358.65 kN. An overview of the relative ductility aspect of 2.7 kN between square and round columns and the ductility value shows the reduced cross-sectional area the smaller the ductility value. Therefore, it is concluded that a round column is better in terms of holding moment and sliding, than a square shaped column.

Abstract

The main resource in the execution of project to ensure the project goes according to the plan is the availability of funds that must be possessed by providers. The contract form and manner of payments made between service users and service providers during the implementation of the project would bring a significant impact for service providers to prepare a specific fun. Where funds provided will be used to maintain the condition project's cash flows remain positive or avoid a deficit. This study aims to inform the provider of construction services in the calculation of the most favorable providing funds where the payment method that is observed is a payment method payment stage. Sumber daya utama di dalam pelaksanaan proyek untuk menjamin proyek tersebut berjalan sesuai rencana adalah ketersediaan dana yang harus dimiliki oleh penyedia jasa. Bentuk kontrak dan cara pembayaran yang dilakukan antara pengguna jasa dan penyedia jasa pada saat pelaksanaan proyek akan membawa dampak yang cukup signifikan bagi penyedia jasa untuk menyiapkan sejumlah dana tertentu. Dimana dana yang disediakan tersebut akan dipergunakan untuk menjaga kondisi arus kas proyek tetap positif atau terhindar dari kondisi defisit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi masukan bagi penyedia jasa konstruksi dalam melakukan perhitungan penyediaan dana yang paling menguntungkan dimana metode pembayaran yang diamati adalah metode pembayaran stage payment.

Abstract

Nonlinear response analysis of soil in Semarang city is needed currently. There is change in earthquake map in Indonesian Building code from Earthquake with 500 years return period to 2500 years return period. The earthquake records in Indonesia are rare. In this paper Taft earthquake record is used. The calculation of nonlinear response of soil properties was done by finite difference analysis. Viscoelastic, elastoplastic constitutive relations are introduced and the need for using hyperbolic models are mentioned here, nonlinearity is treated by selecting strain compatible soil properties such as shear stiffness and viscous coefficient. Stepwise material properties are taken as the instantaneous slope and assumed to be constant within the given time interval. Case study is hypothesized site in Erdik (1982). The nonlinear analysis is compared with RSNI 03-1726-201X response spectrum for Semarang city. From graphic shown that for period less than 1 sec the response is below of the RSNI 03-1726-201X but for period more than 1 sec the response is more than of RSNI 03-1726-201X.Analisis respon nonlinear tanah pada kota Semarang saat ini sangat diperlukan. Perubahan peta gempa di peraturan bangunan Indonesia dari peta gempa dengan kala ulang 500 tahun menjadi 2500 tahun mengakibatkan terjadi perubahan pada bentuk respon spektrum. Data rekaman gempa bumi di Indonesia sangat sulit didapatkan. Pada tulisan ini dipakai rekaman dari gempa bumi Taft.Perhitungan respon dinamis nonlinier tanah ditunjukkan dengan menggunakan formulasi beda hingga. Viskoelastik, hubungan konstitutif elastoplastic diperkenalkan dan penggunaan model hiperbolik disebutkan di sini, nonlinier diperlakukan dengan memilih sifat regangan tanah yang kompatibel seperti kekakuan geser dan koefisien kekentalan. Sifat material  tahap demi tahap diambil sebagai kemiringan seketika dan diasumsikan konstan dalam interval waktu tertentu. Untuk studi kasus ini parameter tanah menggunakan data dari Erdik (1982). Hasil dari analisis nonlinear tanah dibandingkan dengan respon spectrum dari RSNI 03-1726-201X untuk kota Semarang. Pada grafik terlihat bahwa respon spectrum analisis terletak dibawah dari grafik respon spectrum RSNI 03-1726-201X. Tetapi pada periode lebih besar dari 1 detik terletak diatas respon spectrum RSNI 03-1726-201X.

Abstract. The development of the region towards the outskirts of the city has become a common phenomenon of cities in Indonesia. The area that was formerly a deserted area is now a sought-after area of urban society. This is due to limited land in the city center causing the start of the spread of occupancy in the suburbs. The development of suburban areas that will undergo a transition causes a change of space in the region This phenomenon can be found in the city of Semarang. One of them is the district of Mijen Semarang. The area that was formerly a small settlement with the potential of rubber forest farming has changed into one of the elite areas in the city of Semarang. The emergence of housing Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) as a catalyst has a great impact on the development of the surrounding environment. Bukit Semarang Baru (BSB) in Mijen District, Semarang City is a new city concept housing that provides housing, education, industry, recreation and other commercial facilities. The transfer of land from rubber plantation to BSB housing is estimated to cause the transformation of space related to the function and land use in the surrounding settlements, especially the area directly adjacent to the village of Wonolopo. This research uses a rationalistic approach with qualitative paradigm, which in this study aims to understand and know the pattern of settlement transformation in settlements that occur in the village Wonolopo, Mijen, Semarang. Through this research is expected to be able to analyze and know how big the change of settlement space

Abstract: In a practical planning sometimes does not need to do a soil test as a whole. Therefore requires  an  approach  from  the  soil  properties.  To  obtain  an  approach  tersebutperlu  holding  of repeated experiments in the laboratory, so it can be described in a graphical form of the elationship between naturesifaat  land. From garfik  if one of  the  factors  / characteristics are known  then  the other properties can be determined. This study used clay from  the site Pucang  Ivoire (Semarang), Jalan  PedurunganGenuk  (Semarang),  Karangawen  (Demak),  Hut  (Purwodadi),  Godong (Purwodadi).  And  conducted  research  in  soil  mechanics  laboratory.  From  the  research  results obtained by  the  relationship between CBR and PI  is PI = 137.866.792 CBR and PI = 90.796  to 4.574 CBR, CBR at an angle with the shear angle in the ground: Ф = 18.379 + 1.155 CBR and 1.71 Ф = 10.496 + CBR , CBR connection and cohesion, namely: CBR C = 0.165 0.279 and C = 0.174 CBR 0.5996, and PI relationship with the land gesr angle Ф = 49.9160.4 PI Keywords: Plastic Index, California Bearing Ratio, Strength Scroll, Clay Soil   Abstrak: Dalam suatu perencanaan praktis kadang tidak perlu melakukan percobaan tanah secara keseluruhan. Oleh karena itu membutuhkan suatu pendekatan dari sifat,sifat tanah tersebut. Untuk memperoleh  suatu  pendekatan  tersebutperlu  diadakannya  percobaan  yang  berulang,ulang  di laboratorium, sehingga dapat digambarkan dalam suatu bentuk grafis hubungan antara sifat,sifaat tanah tersebut. Dari garfik tersebut jika salah satu faktor /sifat diketahui maka dapat ditentukan sifat yang  lain.  Penelitian  ini  menggunakan  tanah  lempung  dari  lokasi  Pucang  Gading  (Semarang), Jalan  Pedurungan,Genuk  (Semarang),  Karangawen  (Demak),  Gubuk  (Purwodadi),  Godong (Purwodadi).  Dan  penelitian  dilakukan  di  laboratorium  mekanika  tanah.  Dari  hasil  penelitian diperoleh  hubungan  antara  CBR  dan  PI  yaitu  PI  =  137,86  –  6,792CBR  dan  PI  =90,796  – 4,574CBR, CBR dengan sudut dengan sudut geser  tanah dalam yaitu  : Ф = 18,379 + 1,155CBR dan Ф=10,496 + 1,71CBR, hubungan   CBR dan kohesi yaitu  : C = 0,165 CBR – 0,279 dan C = 0,174CBR – 0,5996, dan Hubungan PI dengan sudut gesr tanah dalam Ф = 49,916 – 0,4PI Kata kunci: Plastik Indek, California Bearing Ratio, Kuat Geser, Tanah Lempung

Abstract

Water distribution systemis made to fullfil the need of water in a city or community and the management of water service in Semarang City is carried out by Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Moedal. The aim of this study is to evaluated the performance of water distribution ability in providing the minimum customers service covering at water flow. Based on the result of water meter record flow analysis, it was found that the reliability level is 63,64%, where the system was in failed condition for 4,63 months. The failure level varies ranging from 1,39% to 19,05% deficit. From this study, it can be concluded that the service of water distribution of PDAM in Banyumanik Area within te period of this study was still not satisfactory.Sistem jaringan air bersih dibuat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih suatu kota atau komunitas dan untuk Kota Semarang, pengelolaan air bersih dilaksanakan oleh Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum (PDAM) Tirta Moedal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja layanan jaringan air bersih yang dikelola oleh PDAM Tirta Moedal dengan cara menganalisis unjuk kerja layanan jaringan terhadap kemampuan jaringan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan minimum pelanggan dari sisi debit air. Berdasarkan hasil analisis debit dari pencatatan meter air diketahui bahwa tingkat keandalan sekitar 63,64% dengan lamanya sistem berada dalam kondisi gagal sekitar 4,63 bulan dengan tingkat kegagalan yang bervariasi antara 1,39% sampai dengan 19,05% defisit. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian tersebut adalah pelayanan jaringan air bersih oleh PDAM di Perumnas Banyumanik Semarang sesuai dengan waktu penelitian belum memenuhi harapan.
