Abstract

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) has now become a trend in the world of health care. Lot of obstacles and barriers that interfere implementation of EMR. This paper discussed the eleven factors suspected to affect the implementation of EMR, with a case study hospital in Banyumas. By using logistic regression analysis obtained eight of the eleven factors that significantly affect the implementation of RME. The eight factors are financial factors, Human Resources (HR), the process of changing, psychological factors, legal factors, the time factor, organizational factors, and ICT trends. Technology, infrastructure, and social is a factor that does not significantly affect the implementation of EMR in hospital. ICT trends are new factors that significantly affect the implementation of EMR in hosital.

Abstract

Pest in agriculture can raise plant disease and fail to harvest. The pest problem in agriculture can be solved by using pesticide. Pesticide usage must be done proportionally. So, the manufacturer should fix standard pesticide active ingredient in pesticide production. Forecast is a prediction of some future evens. In forecast problem, there are any parameters which should be determined. Parameters can be estimated by exact method or heuristic method. Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is inspired from the cooperative behavior of ant colonies, which can find the shortest path from their nest to a food source. In this research, we use heuristic method like ACO to estimate exponential smoothing parameter on pesticide active ingredient forecast and pesticide sample weight forecast. From the simulation, on the first iteration, all ants choose parameter randomly. At the optimization process, we update pheromone until all ants choose the similar parameter so that process converges and variance approaches to zero. The optimal exponential smoothing parameter can be applied in forecasting with minimum sum of squared error (SSE).

Abstract

In this paper, we discuss about completeness property of Orlicz sequence spaces defined by an Orlicz function. Orlicz sequence space is generalization of p-summable sequence space, for every   which is also an Orlicz sequence space. Based on the property of convergence sequence on norm space, we define $\Phi$-convergence sequence on Orlicz sequence space. Moreover, we define $\Phi$-Cauchy sequence and $\Phi$-complete on Orlicz sequence space. In this paper, we show the relationship between the (ordinary) convergent sequence, $\Phi$-convergent and $\Phi$-Cauchy sequences. Finally, it will also be shown that Orlicz sequence space is Banach space and $\Phi$-complete space.

Abstract

Upaya pengkajian pakan ikan kerapu terus dikembangkan. Pemberian pakan dilakukan secara at satiation.

Abstract

Isolation of vanilin from vanili fruit by two method; maseration and Soxhlet using ethylacetate, ethanol and chloroform solvents has been investigated. Extraction result was hydrolized using sodium hydroxide by acidification using chloride acid. Filtrate was extracted by using chloroform and the targeted vanilin was separated by evaporation. Putrification was enganged by rechrystallization using aquadest-ethanol. Elucidation to the compound structure was performed by FTIR spectrophotometer, H-NMR, C-NMR, HMQC and HMBC. It is noted that vanilin isolation by soxhletazion procedure was more effective compared to maseration. Ethylacetate was more effective solvent than chloroform and conversely ethanol is inefective for the isolation.   Keywords: vanilin isolation, soxhlet isolation, maseration

Abstract

The synthesis of diethanolamide surfactant from used cooking oil was systematically studied using modified zeolite as catalyst. The activated zeolite was obtained by dispersing natural zeolite in sulfuric acid (H2SO4) solution.  Potassium carbonate (K2CO3) was loaded into activated zeolite by wet impregnation method. The methyl ester obtained from transesterification reaction of used cooking oil was refluxed with diethanolamine (C4H11NO) solution over K2CO3/zeolite catalyst in the production of diethanolamide surfactant. The amidiation reaction over K2CO3/zeolite effectively produced 92% of diethanolamide surfactant with the highest selectivity of methyl oleate. Diethanolamide surfactant showed stable foam and emulsion with the reduction of surface tension as much as 3.3 dyne/cm.

Abstract

Data mining is an activity to extract the knowledge from large amounts of data as very important information. The type of data in the era of 4.0 is data in the form of text, which is very much derived from social media. Recently, text becomes very important in some applications, such as the processing and the conclusion of a person's review and analysis of political opinion which is very sensitive in almost all countries, including Indonesia. Online text data that circulating on social media has several shortcomings that could potentially hinder the analysis process. One of the drawbacks is the people can post their own content freely, so the quality of their opinions cannot be guaranteed such as spam and irrelevant opinions. The other drawback is the basic truth of the online text data is not always available. Basic truth is more like a particular opinion, indicating whether the opinion is positive, negative and neutral. Therefore, the main objective of this study is to improve the forecasting accuracy of online text data analysis from social media. The method used os Hidden Markov Model (HMM) with Viterbi Algorithm that applied to extract the dataset sentiment at the 2015 elections in Surabaya from the popular site micro blogging called Twitter. The result of the study is Viterbi algorithm has predicted the best route with the candidate Tri Rismaharini gained a prediction of neutral sentiments, whereas ratio candidates gained sentiment negative predictions as well. The proposed Model is accurate to predict candidate features. It also helps political parties to introduce candidates based on reviews so that they can increase candidate performance or they can manage broad publicity to promote candidates.

Abstract

Functional materials are becoming an increasingly important part of our daily life, e.g. they used for sensing, actuation, computing, energy conversion. These materials often have  unique physical, chemical, and structural characteristic involving very complex phase.  Many mathematical model have been devised to study the complex behavior of functional materials. Some of the models have been proven powerful in predicting the behavior of new materials built upon the composites of existing materials. One of  mathematical methods used to model the behavior of the materials is the differential equation. Very often the resulting differential equations are very complicated so that most methods failed in obtaining the exact solutions of the problems. Fortunately, a relatively new approach via Lie symmetry gives a new hope in obtaining or at least understanding the behavior of the solutions, which is needed to understand the behavior of the materials being modeled. In this paper we present a survey on the use of Lie symmetry and related concepts (such as  Lie algebra, Lie group, etc) in modeling the behavior of functional materials and discuss some fundamental results of the Lie symmetry theory which often used in solving differential equations. The survey shows that the use of Lie symmetry and alike have been accepted in many field and gives an alternative approach in studying the complex behavior of functional materials.
