Abstract

Pengukuran tingkat produktivitas organisasi atau perusahaan penting dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi pencapaian dan melakukan perbaikan pada indikator produktivitas yang kurang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui tingkat produktivitas dari sebuah perusahaan dan mengevaluasi indikator yang kinerjanya paling buruk. Studi kasus dilakukan pada perusahaan dompet kulit yang sedang mengalami penurunan produktifitas selama periode tahun 2018, dimana jumlah produksi tidak mencapai target yang diharapkan sehingga harus menambah jam kerja/lembur untuk mencapai target. Dengan penambahan jam kerja, perusahaan mengeluarkan biaya lembur karyawan. Metode untuk mengukur tingkat produktifitas perusahaan adalah metode objective matriks atau OMAX dan penelitian ini mengacu pada langkah-langkah OMAX, yaitu menentukan kriteria produktivitas pada lini produksi, penentuan bobot, penentuan level-level pada objective matrix, perhitungan index produktivitas, dan analisa produktifitas dengan traffic light system.  Pembobotan untuk menentukan bobot setiap indikator produktifitas dengan sistim linkert.  Selanjutnya digunakan Traffic Light System (TLS) untuk pengelompokan level pencapaian indikator dan melakukan perbaikan untuk level indikator yang buruk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata produktifitas keseluruhan pada tahun 2018 adalah 5,410. Indeks produktifitas tertinggi dicapai pada bulan Agustus sebesar 62,59%. Dari traffic light sytem, diketahui bahwa indikator produktifitas yang paling buruk adalah pada faktor defect/cacat. Indikator produk cacat perlu perhatian khusus dalam rangka perbaikan untuk meningkatkan tingkat produktifitas perusahaan.

Abstract

This research is to uncover the events spiral out of control ( out of control ) that often occurs at the plane quadcopter causing loss or damage. The importance of taking this topic because the results of the research will be of great benefit in the development of microelectronic technology , especially for the design of UAV aircraft in Indonesia. Sequence starting from designing the study continued until the plane quadcopter flight test. Reliability and accuracy control flying distance flight test conducted and supported by the increase in equipment and repair kirnerja control algorithm. Success of the flight test aircraft reliability and security, determined on setting position effective control distance . Most aircraft can not transmit information if the aircraft in unsafe conditions distance position .  Benefits and the subsequent development of this quadcopter eg sensor system to detect and send the data somewhere air conditions can be developed. For aerial photography at an affordable cost while the control plane algorithms can be applied to steer the rocket to the right targets. Thus the results of the design and control algorithms on the plane quadcopter distance is very useful for science and the general public.

Abstract

This research was the preliminary study analysis for the mental workload for creative industries. There were issues of productivity during the work performed by the employee. This paper aimed to measure the mental workload based on three job positions for two batik creative industries. The method that used is NASA-TLX, which involved 6 employees. There are variations based on three job positions (production, administrative and packaging) in both industries. The mental workload obtained during the research is 41.67 for UKM Batik 1 and 70.44 for UKM Batik 2. In overall, both batik industries having high mental workload, only in small portion is in medium position. The highest mental workload was for production process in UKM Batik 2. The further research should be conducted on improving the work system design for all positions, especially on production process.

Abstract

        In panels or components, there are holes for joinning with other part. There are two method for manufacturing a hole, i.e. by boring and molding processes. The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of hole manufacturing method on the tensile properties of hybride composite reinforced  chopped strand mat of E-glass fiber and woven roving fiber of plastic bag.         The materials in this research are plastic bag fiber, chopped strand mat of E-glass fiber (300 gr/m2), unsaturated polyester 157 BQTN-EX, and MEKPO hardener. The composite was made using press mold method, prepared with 4 laminates of glass fiber and 3 laminates of plastic bag fiber. The weight fraction fiber (Wf) of the composite was around 38%. The tensile test specimens were produced according to ASTM D 5766. In the middle of each specimen, there is a hole with 4, 6, or 8 mm in diameter. There are two types hole, i.e. holes were manufactured using boring  and molding process methods.         The result shows that the highest tensile strength of the composites occurs on the composite with 6 mm in diameter of hole manufactured by boring and molding process. It can be recommended that composite has the higher strength for 6 mm in diameter of hole for joining. The composites with 4 and 6 diameters of holes manufactured by molding process have higher tensile strength compared to that manufactured by boring process. In contrast, the tensile strength of the composite with 8 mm in diameter of hole produced by boring is higher than that of the composite with 8 mm in diameter of hole produced by molding process.Keywords : plastic bag fiber, E-glass fiber, molding process, boring.

Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the magnitude of minimum blank holder gap to prevent wrinkles and cracks defects of the rectangular cup with T4 material Tin Plate CA. Punch-die domensions are determined based on the standard tool designed. The methods of this research are an analytic, finite element (FE), and experimental approach, respectively. Each method in this study had been mutually compared to other methods. According to the research, minimum blank holder gap is recommended by 120% to 130% of the thickness of the initial material (about 0.24 ÷ 0.26 mm). By using the value of this gap, the height of wrinkles is very small, and the magnitude of the drawing force is still below the critical limit, so the product does not occur wrinkles and cracks.

Abstract

This research is conducted to get a method to make-up tension and hardness of low carbon steel through double-phase steel with a specific parameter of heating temperature at 732oC, 770oC, and 810oC with the variation of detention time 5, 10, 20, and 30 minutes. Before conducting the process, all of specimens are normalized at temperature 900oC within 20 minute  to get early condition of homogeneous structure after double phase forming, hereinafter every specimen get the treatment process  at  200oC holding time 20 minutes to make-up of the resilient and less the tension, hereinafter conducted the ossification stretch to make-up the tension and its hardness. Result of this research indicate, that  with the double phase forming at low carbon steel can increase the tension equal to 83% (from 310 N/mm2 to 567 N/mm2) and make-up of hardness 40% (from 133.1 HV to 186.6 HV) which reached with the treatment process at warm-up temperature 770oC with the time during 20 minutes. This result indicates that this method may be used as an alternative to increase of the mechanical nature of low carbon steel. Keywords: low carbon steel, double phase steel

Abstract

The energy demand of the world is foreseen to be increased due to improvements on the living standard of developing countries and the development of global economy. The increase in sustainability of energy supply must be considered as a must to avoid spoiling natural resources for the next human generations and more dramatic effects such as global atmospheric warming. The utilization of CO2-free energy sources, as renewable energy, is one of the most promising way. Nevertheless, massive energy production with such energy sources are far from being practically feasible in short-medium term and an innovative solution should be put implemented CO2. This general assumption is also applicable to any energy carrier such as hydrogen or electricity. In this paper, analysis of the hydrogen production processes conducted and the discussion of the need to develop a CO2- free production scheme like methane cracking is shown

Abstract

Lubricant oil is used to lubricate machines especially gasoline machine. To have ahighs performance lubricant oil, additive agent is added. Additive agent used for anti oxidant, anti rust of time worn, and anti foam. This research want to know the influence of temperature change on tension penetrate of lubricant oil. The sample use are lubricant oil SAE 40 and transformator oil (Diala-B). The experiment result shows that the tension penetrate of both oil are increase for increasing temperature, but lubricant oil SAE 40 have smaller increase than Diala-B. Abstract

One of the company efforts in increasing the sales volume of a product is with maintaining and increasing the quality of a product that have been produce by the company. Therefore, it is very important for the company to analyze and identify the problems that have been caused during the production process so the company can increase the quality of the product and productivity. Problems that cause during analyzing the defect product in production is how to arrange the optimal setting from each factor that significantly related so the company can minimize the defect product. This research was done at CV Tunggal Jaya Plastics and took the Morning Fresh (Lime) 1000 ml case product. Taguchi method is one of the methods that can be used to minimize the defect product by applying robust system for uncontrollable factors. The final result is to know factors that related significantly to the defect product and suggest the level of each factor therefore the defect product can be minimized.

Abstract

Competitive advantage is the keyword for Small Medium Enterprise (SME) to survive. One of the effort that could be conducted by the SMEs is doing temporary cooperation. The SMEs would arrange work contract hence all of the SMEs could work in same corridor. Development of Information Technology (IT) will support such cooperation and the SMEs would form a Virtual Organisation (VO). In VO, the management is called as meta-management, that contained several actions to coordinate all of the SMEs in the VO. Technically, the meta-management contained basic activities including analysing and tracing prerequisites, allocating requirements fulfilment and adjusting optimum criteria for every UKM. In term of management control, it requires a tool to measure success of the meta-management so that strategic actions could be arranged for future improvement. This paper presents the use of Fuzzy Logic (FL) to measure success of a meta- management. The success itself is measured based on the three aspects explained above, and the proposed FL is used to model uncertainties in every aspect. A numerical example from previous research is taken to show how the proposed method works.
