Abstract

Batik is Indonesia's cultural heritage has been recognized through this UNESCO.Hal impact increased competition among industry batik.Salah an effort in order to win the competition is to determine the performance of supply chain industry batik.Pada this study measured the performance of the supply chain of industrial production type Make-batik toStock, case studies Batik Gunawan Setiawan using the SCOR model and weighting 11.0 AHP.Tujuan this study was to determine the performance of supply chain at Batik Gunawan Setiawan. The results of this study, the measurement of each attribute using the SCOR model 11.0 to 98.17% batik Reliability, Responsiveness 64.40 today, 14:39 today Agility, Cost Rp. 185 173. 537, -, and Asset Management 20:15 today. The measurement results batik 97.65% Reliability, Responsiveness 40.78 days, 14.70 days Agility, Cost Rp. 273 292 491, -, and Asset Management 18:04 today. And the measurement results batik combined 97.60% Reliability, Responsiveness 60.19 days, 17.61 days Agility, Cost Rp. 271 219 750, -, and Asset Management 21:17 today. The average results of measurement are included in the category of Average. Large attribute weights using AHP ie Reliability 0079, responsivenes 0194, 0035 Agility, Cost 0689, and 0003 Asset Management. Weights tge ie Cost. The results of the industry supply chain performance measures Batik Gunawan Setiawan ie 68.79% included in the category of Average. Recommendations are given is to eliminate the patterning process of batik as an Innapriorate processing. Reducing the waiting time from the process of negotiation and supplier selection colouring. Doing to improve the performance of the procurement of raw materials.

Abstract

Increasingly high demand for fuel oil and gas to encourage people to look for alternative renewable fuels. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of redesigning the biogas reactor. This tool can be used to produce biogas from livestock manure into energy alternatives. Redesign was done due to the initial reactor construction, yet provide optimal results. Analysis carried out on parts of the construction that needs to be fixed, then redesign done by means of the duplicate revers engineering and develop existing ones. The result of this redesign later in the simulation with the help of software with tuuan to determine the output results are given. The results of the simulation showed that the redesign of the construction of a biogas reactor output that can add more gas from the biogas reactor construction that has been there for 4 kg or produce a pressure of 0,127psi in the morning, while the afternoon of 2 kg or produce a pressure of 0,090 psi of tank which has been used as a digester.

Abstract

Batik is an Indonesian heritage which has variety of motifs and colors. It has visual and philosophical meaning in every scratch. Wax is used to cover fabric surface so that the pattern can be formed during the coloring process. There are two kinds of wax which are tembokan wax for batik tembokan and klowong wax for batik klowong. Batik klowong has a line and dot motifs and ornaments on the cloth asdecoration. The objective of this study is to determine the composition of opal resin required on wax batik klowong and to know its effect on the finished batik. This study uses qualitative and quantitative methods such as materials measurement, observation by using tools, questionnaire and count the number of voters. The composition of making klowong wax is night wasp, resin, and white paraffin. The independent variable is night wasp with the composition of resin (10 g, 20 g, 30 g, 40 g). Four samples of opal resin were created to test the composition of batik klowong wax on the coloring result. Ten respondents fill the questionnaire as a test to visually see and choose the best samples according to their opinions. The results show that sample D has highest quality and sharpness of color.

Abstract

The bio-oil production from baggase using pyrolysis process was investigated in this study. A fixed bed reactor was utilized to investigate the effect of pyrolysis temperature and biomass particle size on the yield of bio-oil, tar, biochar and gas and properties of bio-oil. The pyrolysis temperature was ranging from 450 to 550oC, while variations of particle size were -20+30 Mesh and -30+40 Mesh. The operation conditions of the pyrolysis were 15 minutes of resident time, 25oC/minute of heating ramp and 0.5 L/min of N2 flowrate.  Optimum conditions obtained for the maximum bio-oil yield (28.11 %wt) were 550oC and -30+40 Mesh of particle size. However, pyrolysis for -20+30 Mesh of biomass particle size had optimum temperature on 500oC which had 27.89%wt of bio-oil yield. On the other hand, all bio-oils were characterized in detail by determining their density, viscosity, pH, acetic acid content and heating value. Bio-oils produced have the following properties: density of 1.0667-1.0867 gr/ml, viscosity of 1.3034-1.7821 cP,  pH of 2.3835-2.7865, acetic acid content of 0.4320-0.5600 mg/ml bio-oil, dan heating value of  9.3168-10.8173 MJ/kg. The highest heating value is contented by bio-oil produced with 550oC of temperature pyrolysis and -30+40 Mesh of biomass particle size.

Abstract

Production of acetic acid from ethanol by electrolysis (electrosynthesis) in alkaline (0.008 M KOH) and acidic (0.08 M HClO4) mediums has been carried out using platinum wire electrode. Besides that, the electrochemical study by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in different scan rates and electrolyte (alkaline and acidic mediums) also had been done. The study shows that the oxidation potential of ethanol ranges from 600-1065 mV in 0.008 M KOH and 700-1125 mV in 0.08 M HClO4. The electrooxidation products were analyzed using the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Keywords: Ethanol, acetic acid, electrolysis, electrosynthesis.

Abstract

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a disease that most cause mortality in Indonesia. CAD is caused by cholesterol-containing deposit (plaque) that make the coronary artery become narrow and can cause a heart attack. Stent implantation is the most common treatment to opens or alleviates the narrowing coronary artery. A preliminary study has done to simulate the expansion of coronary stent with negligible balloon method. The negligible balloon is less accurate and far from realistic condition because it neglects the presence of the balloon. This study has proposed another method to simulate the stent expansion. Hyper-elastic balloon method is used to investigate the stress distribution, outer diameter change, and dogboning phenomena of the stent.

Abstract

Several criterions used to determine the security measure of ciphers, have been researched for tens years. Shannon recommended two concepts for designing of algorithm encryption: confusion and diffusion. These criterions have been expanded with other criterions addition like avalanche property, Strict Avalanche property, Key-dependence avalanche, sequence complexity, Binary derivatives, and Bit dependencies. This paper will try to discuss if the criterions that have been proposed by researchers have succeeded to counter to cryptanalysis. In this paper, six-round-DES is examined. The result of the research showed that the DES reduced to six rounds has satisfied the criterions, but failed to counter to differential cryptanalysis (DC). Some researchers have proposed to strengthen DES by making all subkeys Ki independent. So, for DES reduced to six rounds with independent subkeys, the number of keys is 6x48 (288 bits). However, DC can break the cipher by analyzing only 256 cipher texts.Keywords: Block cipher, differential cryptanalysis, DES, criterions, subkey.

Abstract

Deterioration problem is due to a decrease in engine performance the machine used constantly. Deterioration of the engine can cause production system problem. In this research, the development of optimization models taking into account the production and quality cost component in the multistage production system. All products will undergo inspection by sampling or census. Good product after sampling inspection will be delivered to the consumer, while the nonconforming product will be inspected prior to the census carried out rework. Dynamic programming used to optimize the decision-making process over the entire stage which was later named the optimal policy

Abstract

Various studies in the field of traumatic effect or stress after disaster, commonly known as PSTD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder have been caried out. Many researchers have tested the effects of disasters and PTSD, but the correlation value are different. The purpose of this study was to obtain the actual value of the correlation. This study collected the correlation value of 21 existing research results. The results of this study showed that the average of correlation is 2SD greater than 0 equal to 0.069864. This value has been indicated that there is positive correlation between disaster and Stress (PTSD), so the hypothesis is accepted by the population correlation value 0.074256, sampling error 0.43%. It shows that disaster variable always positively correlated to increased stress behavior among adults.

Abstract

Bamboo is widely used as a product application material. More and more enthusiasts of products produced with bamboo laminate materials require special equipment with good performance for production. The existing bamboo laminate production equipment still requires much innovation for that purpose, which required improvement and addition of mechanism to improve its performance. The addition of a motion mechanism to the bamboo splitting tool improved the tool performance by 54%, and decrease in rolling time for bamboo from 23 seconds to 0.85 seconds. Increased performance of bamboo splitter will have a positive impact on production costs for small and medium enterprises, thereby increasing profits and increasing the competitiveness of products.
