Abstract

Research by using real object media aimes to prove its influence to the increase of ability in finishing question story form of math to the dyscalculia students. In this research used real object media since this learning media could stimulate and motivate student in learning activity that student can easily absorb learning materials. Analyzing data by using technigue the sign test, it shown result Z counting = 2,68 and Z table = 1,64. It means 2,68 > 1,64 so, Ho denied and Ha accepted that can be concluded that there is an influence of using real object media in increasing ability of finishing question story form of math to the dyscalculia studened in SDN Kedungsumber Balongpanggang Gresik. The conclusion of this research is that there is improvement of ability in finishing question story form of math by the second year class  dyscalculia student  (40 %) by using real object media in SDN Kedungsumber Balongpanggang Gresik, showing form the increasing result of students tests before using real object media (28%) and after using real object media (68%).

Abstract

The general purpose of this study is to get data from the ability of mild mentally retarded student in occupational therapy through hair decoration skill in Malang Putra Jaya special education school. Knowing further the problem that are faced by the children in the ocupational process and also know the stage of achievement after get ocupational therapy thourgh hair decoration skill. Technique analysis data in this research used non statistic research in form of analysis of descriptive. In the stage of data analysis in qualitative research generally started since data collection, data reduction, displaying the data, and the conclusion verication. This research which has processed in the application of occupational therapy through hair decoration skill to mentally retarded students in the Malang Putra Jaya special school after six timestreatment which has been given. The occupational therapy shows the result that mild mentally retarded can perform the activity well and show significant result It is justified cumulatively with have sutficient category, which mentally retarded children in Malang Putra Jaya special school. The children must get a lot of practice to achive the material of hair decoration skiil in order to get increasing ability of motoric nerve movement and focusing ability of children concentration.

Abstract

In this research has purpose to prove whether the Indonesia Realistic Mathematic Approach can increase mathematic achievement the student with hearing impairment. Besides, it investigated  whether it appropriates to be given for student with hearing impairment. On practicing this research used “randomized control group pretest posttest design”. That divided the second elementary student in two groups, is a experiment group with multiplication learning by realistic approach and  a control group with memorizing multiplication learning. The result in this research would be analyzed with Mann Whitney test formula. And used questionnaire to seeing student response toward this approach.The result by Mann Whitney test formula was U = 1,5, mean = 10, deviation standard = 4,08 an standard value = -2,08 it mean reached  Ho decide  “there is no effect from realistic mathematic approach learning toward achievement mathematic of Karya Mulia student is denied. And than the result from questionnaire seeing student response toward realistic approach was 80% student in experiment groups has stated like learn mathematic with realistic approach, And 75% student in control groups was not like learn mathematic.

Abstract

In recent time assessment type on special school score only with number only, so the need and advancement of students can not be known by the parents or the teacher. The objective of this study is students in SLB C Bina Bangsa Taman Sidoarjo. This study uses Classroom Action Research Design. Instrument which is used on this study i.e: Lesson Plan, Observation sheet, Activity Students Sheet (LKS), and Teacher Respon Sheet.Based on the data result analysis evaluation on cognitive aspect on 1st cycle can be summarized that the students ability 70% and 2 nd cycle the ability of students in increased to 80%. The result of afective aspect in the 1st cycle is 70% and 2nd cycle the ability students increase 80%. Psychomotor aspect in 1st cycle 70% and the ability students  and 2nd cycle increase 80%. The result of this study is increasing significantly  10% advancement result through conducting portofolio assessment on cognitive, afective, and psychomotor aspect.

Abstract

The goals of this research increase pre vocational skill at blind children in SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya, add institute teaching material as ability of pre vocational skill for blind child and as future benefit and life of blind children in society.This research is pra experiment research which use research design is one group pre test and post test with technique analyze statistic non parametric with sign test ZH. This research use observation, interview, and test method in data collection.And the result of this research is obtained ZH value = 1,8 bigger than critical Z value 5% that is 1,64 so it refuses Ho, it can be concluded that give play guitar training  can increase pre vocational at blind children in SDLB-A YPAB Surabaya.In this research, researcher give advice for parents to guide child’s interest to special skill. By increasing the skill in non formal education (course); teachers should know through child’s interest early and guide as a skill; and for blind children use their skill with play guitar continuously.

Abstract

Abstract; One of the individuals with special needs are children with autism. Autism with various types and levels of both heavy and light, both are disorders of child development are very influential on subsequent developments. The effect of these developments, such as the ability of communication with others. They have difficulty interacting and expressing what they want. Children with autism early age with such a condition, are in need of intensive treatment in the form of therapy and teaching in an integrated way. Children with autism early age not only directly following their education in special schools, but many of them follow the process of play and interact in early childhood education institutions in general. It is very likely to occur because of several factors, for the communication between parents and teachers in this school is needed. The existence of effective communication between both parties, it would be very positive impact on growth and development of children with autism itself, and the groups of children or to the existence of these institutions.

Abstract

Abstract; The research was aimed at finding out effectiveness of backward chaining method in teaching self managenet skills, especially in putting on T-shirt skills to the  imbeciles of elementary level. The research objects incvluded imbeciles student of elementary level III of special scholls “C” in Makassar City.The research applied an exceptional method with Posttest Only Control Design. The research has two group, experiment and control group.The treatment was self management skill exercises, especially putting on T-shirt excercises using backward chaining method. Data collection was conducted through the direct observation to the students performance in doing the tasks given, especially in putting on T-shirts.The result of research show the existence of difference of efficacy of child of imbecil elementary class three in special scholls “C” Makassar City in putting on T-shirt among the student was trained using backward chaining method with conventional method. This matter indicate that there is influence of applying of backward chaining method to ability in putting on T-shirt of imbecil elementary levels in special scholls “C” Makassar City, so that can be used as an alternative method  in the teaching of self management skills to the imbeciles.

Abstract

Abstract; This is a summary of a comprehensive study through library and empirical research on conducting inclusive education for students with visual impairment (tunanetra). The Objective of the study is to develop an ideal model of conducting inclusive education for students with visual impairment. The study was conducted through qualitative  approach. the data was collected from observations and focus group discussions with teachers and principals in special schools and regular schools in Jakarta and Bandung. The model consists of thirteen dimentions of conducting the inclusive education that include (1) model of enrollment, (2) identification and assessment, (3) curriculum, (4) learning process, (5) classroom management, (6) human resources, (7) facilities and equipment, (8) lesson plan, (9) learning resources, (10) supporting system, (11) evaluation, (12) school management, and (13) financial.

Abstract

Abstract; This study aims to examine the influence of media on the subject History of Independence poster against cognitive skills (understanding of the material) of children in special impaired and mentally retarded schools C YPPLB Ngawi. The study design used was "The One Group Pre-test Post-test Design" with before the experiment approach, namely the study used one group without a comparison group of population, in this study were students in class X impaired and mentally retarded SLB C YPPLB Ngawi which consists of 4 students aged 15-25 years. The method used in this study is the documentation and tests. Intervention materials are given in six sessions, where each end of the meeting of intervention, children are invited to conclude their discussions poster with mild and frequently asked questions about the intervention materials. Analysis of the data used is a non-parametric statistics (Sign Test). From the results obtained the conclusion that the media posters on Independence History lessons have an influence on cognitive abilities (understanding of the material) of children in special impaired and mentally retarded schools C YPPLB Ngawi.

Abstract

Abstract; The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of simple discourse writing skill through a natural method of discourse and picture series on children with hearing impairment of Class III in SDLBN Bugih Pamekasan. The subject of this study was children with hearing impairment of class III that consisted of 4 children. This class action research conducted in three cycles each cycle consisting of two meetings each meeting takes 60 minutes. Methods of data collection using the method of observation and tests, data were analyzed qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the results of student activity on the cycle I got an average score of 4.17 % at the firts meeting then it increased by 5.7 % in the second meeting. In cycle II the average score was 63 % in the firts meeting then increased by 70 % at the second meeting. Cycle III it was 75 % in the first meeting and it increased by 80 % at the second  meeting. Student learning outcomes in the cycle I got an average score of 4.25 % in the first meeting and then it rose by 5.2 % in the second meeting. In cycle II, the learning outcomes of students in average was 65 % in the first meeting and it rose 72.5 % in the second meeting. In the third cycle, it was obtained the average score of 75 % in the first meeting then it increased by 80 % in the second meeting. The data taken during the learning process of skill implemented in simple discourse writing.
