Abstract

Abstract; This class action research uses global intuitive method and involves the parents of the deaf student on the learning process wheter it is in the school or the house. The purpose of the research are to in crease the students ability of reading and writing and to in crease the parents involment on learning process in the school or the house. On the first cycle, it is found that the students ability of reading and writing sample sentence get 77 % and the parents activity on the involvement of the learning procers is 79,08 %. Based on the result of the first cycle the researcher continued to the action reseach on second cycle, on this cycle the researcherincrease the home visit to the students parents,uses the same age child as contemporary tutor, repair the parents guidance in home. Those three aspect show the result of the study completely, which is more than 80 %. Based of the result of the research, it can be concluded that the result of the beginning of reading and writing ability is better and more increase on the second cycle than the first cycle, especrally on reading the simple sentence the students have written. The parents are also more intensive or involve the their childrens education.

Abstract

Abstract; The purpose of this study is to determine whether these is an increase on speaking skills through the medium of telephone game for mild mentally retarded students class IV in SLB Tunas Harapan I Tembelang Jombang. The approach in this research is qualitative and this is a class action research which is done in two cycles with some steps; plan: to make preparation for action, implementation of the action, observation and evaluation and reflection. Research is conducted in class IV in SLB Tunas Harapan I Tembelang Jombang with 4 mild mentally retarded students. The results showed that media phone game can improve the mild mentally retarded students’ speaking skill that is above 75%. Based on the result of research it can be recommended that the media phone game can be used as a medium for students learning Indonesian because mild mentally retarded students are proven to work to increase understanding of children in conversational skill in daily life

Abstract

Abstract; The aims of this research are to analyze the application of cassete recording media to reading comprehension, describe the increase of reading ability through cassette recording media,and to minimize students “mistakes in reading comprehension. This is a classrrom action research  which uses Kemmis and Taggart model with 4 stages i.e. planning, action,observation and test.  The data collecting techniques are interview, observation and test.The data analysis was carried out descriptively through reflections of the cycles. The research was conducted in 2 cycles in five meetings . Cycle I consisted of thre meetings with mean = 64%,and it indicates that the students have not achieved mastery learning (75 % ). In the next cycle that is cycle II which consisted of 2 meetings, the mean = 76 % ,which indicates that there is 12 % increase and it shows that the students have achieved mastery learning. Based on the finding of the research,it is concluded that “the reading comprehension ability of the blind students increases if cassette recording media is used in the teaching and learning process “.

Abstract

Abstract; This research was an attempt  to find out an alternative to improve student competency and to solve the learning problem in the class, because the researcher use PTK ( Classroom Action Research ). It held by two Cyclus. And the cylus consist of three meeting and act in the class. So the cyclus have three test. Data collecting obtain sheet observation method and test.  Data was analyzed by quantitative and qualitative’s descriptive. Based on result of data analyze, it can be conclude as follow student comprehension of vocabulary. The subject of matter was Bahasa Indonesia, through the method applying role play to upgrade verbal and vocabulary for mental retardation grade IX SMPLB-C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II Surabaya. The increase of comprehension Mastery learning 80 % on 2nd meeting 3th.  The result revealed that through apply Role Play could be reach and  upgrade Verbal And Vocabulary also minimize false of the student to learn vocabulary’s symbol for Mental Retardation Grade IX SMPLB-C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II  Surabaya.   Abstrak; Penelitian ini merupakan upaya pemecahan masalah belajar siswa di kelas, sehingga peneliti menggunakan penelitian tindakan  kelas.Pelaksanaannya terdiri dari dua siklus, tiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan ( tindakan ), sehingga tiap siklus diadakan tiga kali tes .Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan metode observasi , dan tes. Untuk menganalisis data digunakan analisis secara kuantitatif dan analisis secara kualitatif. Dari analisis data didapatkan hasil bahwa, terdapat peningkatan pemahaman kosakata dalam pelajaran bhasa indonesia melalui penerapan metode bermain peran pada siswa kelas IX SMPLB C Alpa Kumara Wardhan II Surabaya. Peningkatan pemahaman itu dibuktikan dengan pencapaian target belajar tuntas sebesar 80 % pada siklus 2  pertemuan 3. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meningkatkan pemahaman melalui penelitian  tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan pendekatan bermain peran dapat membantu meningkatkan pemahaman kosakata pada siswa Tuna Grahita Kelas IX SMPLB C Alpa Kumara Wardhana II Surabaya. Dengan Menerapkan pendekatan bermain peran dapat meminimalkan kesalahan siswa Tunagrahita kelas IX dalam menyatakan lambang kosakata.   Kata kunci: Bermain peran, kosakata, anak tunagrahita

Abstract

Abstract; Children with special needs is the children with their physic, mental/intelectual, social and emotional problems. These problems effect to psychic value of children learning. Eventhough, with their condition, it doesn’t mean they lost the opportunity to live like other children. The children with this special label have to get any good room for live and opportunity to build their potential. One of the way to help the children with special needs is guiding counseling by give them service of learning, guiding learning, social guiding  personal, guiding career. With these services hopely the children with special needs could develope their potential, increase their learning potential and have society with normal children. Abstrak; Anak dengan kebutuhan khusus merupakan  anak-anak yang mengalami gangguan (disfungsi) secara fisik, mental/intelektual, sosial, dan emosional. Keadaan gangguan itu akan mempengaruhi psikis dan prestasi belajar anak. Meski demikian, dengan segala keadaannya, bukan berarti mereka kehilangan kesempatan untuk memperoleh hidup seperti anak-anak lain pada umumnya. Anak-anak dengan label kekhususan ini tetap harus mendapat ruang hidup yang layak dan kesempatan yang sama untuk memngebangkan  potensi yang mereka miliki.Salah satu cara untuk membantu anak berkebutuhan yaitu  Bimbingan konseling dengan memberikan layanan berupa bimbingan belajar,  bimbingan pribadi sosial, dan bimbingan karier. Diharapkan dengan adanya ketiga layanan tersebut anak berkebutuhan khusus dapat mengembangkan potensi, meningkat prestasi belajar dan dapat bersosialisasi dengan anak-anak normal lainnya.   Kata Kunci.: Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, Bimbingan Konseling

Abstract; Media had important role in attracting and motivating the pupil during entering for learning process in the class especially for special need children as autism children. The purposes of this research were (1) to descript the application af autism children learning in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (2) to descript and analyze the usage of visual media in autism children learning in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (3) to descript the visual media used in learning for autism children in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri.This research used descriptive qualitative. The data sources were primer and secondary. The data collection techniqueused interview, documentation, and observasiton. The research location was in SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri. The result data was analyzed by interactive. The results were (1) about the application of learning to autism children in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (2) about the usage of visual media in the form of picture in autism children learning in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (3) about visual media used in autism children learning in the fifth class of SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri. Abstrak; Media memiliki peran penting dalam menarik perhatian dan motivasi anak didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran di kelas, terutama bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus seperti anak autis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran anak autis di kelas V SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (2) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penggunaan media visual dalam pembelajaran anak autis di kelas V Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (3) mendeskripsikan media visual yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran bagi anak autis di kelas V SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian, yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Lokasi penelitian di SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian tersebut yaitu (1) tentang pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada anak autis di kelas V SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (2) tentang penggunaan media visual berupa gambar dalam pembelajaran anak autis di kelas V SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri (3) tentang media visual yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran anak autis di kelas V SDLB Kerabat Mulia Kepung Kediri. Abstract

Abstract; Under conventional approach currenlty practiced in elementary schools, some subjects are delivered in both partial and integrated model. Partial model is addressed to strengthen student understanding concerning the structure of subject matter. While integrated model is addressed to strengthen the student understanding concerning in the connection among related subject matters. This model will create deep understanding upon concept learnt by each student. This study aimed to identify the impact of thematic approach (application) on teaching mathematic in elementary school. Using a case study, it was conducted in SDN Medaeng I during 2011/2012 academic year. Research subject were students of grade 3. Results showed that there was a significant difference in mathematic achievement between thematic and conventional teaching treatment. The t-test revealed that thematic approach reached higher (79,091) value compared to conventional approach (54,615). Another result revealed that during experimenting thematic approach, students stated as enjoy learning mathematic (73%) and claimed asa get many experiences and knowledges from thematic approach during teaching time. It is recommended that teacher of Grade 1,2 and 3 should apply thematic approach while teaching Mathematics. Abstrak; Di bawah pendekatan konvensional yang sering dipraktikkan/dilatih di sekolah-sekolah dasar, beberapa mata pelajaran diberikan dengan model parsial dan model terintegrasi. Model parsial diberikan untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang/terkait dengan struktur dari bahan-bahan mata pelajaran. Sementara model terintegrasi diberikan untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa tentang/terkait dengan hubungan yang berelasi dengan bahan-bahan mata pelajaran. Model ini akan menciptakan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai konsep oleh setiap siswa. Pembelajaran ini ditujukan/bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi manfaat/akibat dari pendekatan tematik (aplikasi) pada pengajaran matematika di sekolah Dasar. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan di SDN Medaeng I selama tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Orang-orang/subjek-subjek yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas 3. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada hasil yang berbeda dan signifikan dalam pencapaian pembelajaran matematika antara pendekatan tematik dan pendekatan konvensional. Uji T menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan tematik mencapai nilai lebih tinggi (79,091) dari pada pendekatan konvensional (54,615). Penelitian lain mengungkapkan bahwa selama percobaan pendekatan tematik, murid-murid yang menyatakan nyaman/menikmati percobaan pendekatan tematik (73 %) dan merasa/meyakini memperoleh pengalaman dan pengetahuan yang banyak dari pendekatan tematik selama proses pembelajaran direkomendasikan untuk guru kelas 1,2,3 harus segera mengaplikasikan pendekatan tematik  selama mengajar Matematika.   Kata Kunci: Sekolah Dasar, Pembelajaran Matematika, pendekatan Tematik.

Abstract; This research had purpose to analyze whether there was influence of modification usage of sorting square media toward introducing space structure skill to the first class blind children in SDLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya. The design was one group pre test post test. The method used for collecting data was test method. To analyze the data it was used statistic non parametric analysis technique. The research result could be concluded “There is significant influence of modification usage of sorting square media toward introducing space structure skill to the first class blind children in    SDLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya” with ZH value= 2,05 Ztable 5% 1,96. Abstrak; Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan yaitu untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan modifikasi media kotak sortasi terhadap kemampuan mengenal bangun ruang pada anak tunanetra kelas I di SDLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya. Desain penelitian menggunakan pola: The one group pre test post test. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data yaitu: metode tes. Untuk analisis data penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis statistik Non Parametrik. Hasil Penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan modifikasi media kotak sortasi terhadap kemampuan mengenal bangun ruang pada anak tunanetra kelas I di SDLB-A YPAB Tegalsari Surabaya”, dengan nilai ZH=2,05 > Ztabel 5% 1,96.   Kata kunci : Modifikasi Media Kotak Sortasi, Kemampuan Mengenal Bangun   Ruang, Anak Tunanetra.

Abstrak; Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji penerapan media kaset rekaman pada membaca pemahaman, mendiskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman melalui media kaset rekaman, meminimalkan kesalahan siswa dalam membaca pemahaman. Penelitian ini merupakan tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model PTK Kemmis dan Taggart dengan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi., teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan tes. Sedangkan analisis data pada penelitian ini, analisis data diskriptif melalui refleksi berdasarkan siklus – siklus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan 2 siklus dalam 5 kali pertemuan. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian maka simpulan yang dikemukakan adalah “Kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa tunanetra meningkat jika pembelajaran melaui media kaset rekaman” saran yang diberikan adalah sebaiknya materi pembelajaran membaca memakai media pembelajaran yang dapat memotivasi siswa untuk meningkatkan hasil belajarnya dan dapat menimbulkan minat serta motivasi belajar sehingga siswa dapat memperoleh manfaat yang maksimal baik dari proses maupun hasilnya.   Kata kunci  :  Media kaset rekaman, membaca pemahaman, anak tunanetra.

Abstract

Abstract; Vocational skill is needed job skill as a preparation for life sustaining needs to be independence. Mentally retarded student require vocational skills because their intelligences are below the average, so it is less likely to be working in the field of intelligence that requires intelligence. It means that vocational skill is needed by those students, especially those mild mentally retarded students who still can be given vocational skills. The purpose of this research is to simplify the process of making tempe kedelai to improve vocational skill on mild mentally retarded students of class XI SMALB / C AKW Kumara II Surabaya. So simplifying the learning process of making tempe kedelai can be used as motivation for teachers to improve skill of mild mentally retarded students. The results showed that simplifying the process of making tempe kedelai can increase the vocational skill of mild mentally retarded students of increased acquisition value after learning held in balance with the demonstrated the students’ independent. Abstrak; Kecakapan vokasional merupakan keterampilan kerja yang dibutuhkan sebagai bekal untuk menopang kebutuhan hidup mencapai kemandirian. Anak tunagrahita membutuhkan kecakapan vokasional sebab anak tunagrahita memiliki kecerdasan dibawah rata-rata sehingga kurang memungkinkan untuk dapat bekerja dibidang yang membutuhkan kecerdasan intelegensi. Maka kecakapan vokasional sangat diperlukan oleh anak tunagrahita khususnya anak tunagrahita ringan yang mampu diberikan kecakapan vokasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah penyederhanaan proses pembuatan tempe kedelai untuk meningkatkan kecakapan vokasional bagi anak tunagrahita ringan kelas XI di SMALB/C AKW Kumara II Surabaya. Maka pembelajaran penyederhanaan proses pembuatan tempe kedelai dapat dijadikan motivasi bagi guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bagi anak tunagrahita ringan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyederhanan proses pembuatan tempe kedelai dapat meningkatkan kecakapan vokasional anak tunagrahita ringan berupa peningkatan perolehan nilai setelah diadakan pembelajaran seimbang dengan ditunjukkannya kemandirian siswa.   Kata Kunci : penyederhanaan proses pembuatan tempe, kecakapan vokasional,
