Abstract

Teacher’s competence is a significant factor in enhancing the quality of education in the way the teachers’ way of teaching affects the students’ learning achievement. This study , therefore, intended to find out the extent to which the economics teacher influenced the students’ achievement. On the base of the value of determinant coefficient, it indicated the influence of 50 % between independent variable and dependent variable, and another 50 % was influenced by other variables( other than variables X1 and X2). The result of F test showed that the influence of independent and dependant varibles were significant. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the economics teacher’s competence to the  achievement of the eleventh graders at SMA Negeri 2 Bojonegoro was significant.

Abstract

Since the employment of the floating currency system, the movement of Rupiah currency is determined by the market mechanism, or in other words, the fluctuation of currency depends on the supply and demand in money market. The study uses multiple linier regression analysis, in which the independent variables are the difference of national income growth level(X1), difference of inflation rate  (X2), difference of interest rate  (X3) in Indonesia and United States of America, while the dependent variable is the fluctuation of Rupiah against US dollar (Y), and another independent variable is the prior currency  (t-1) (X4). The result of the study indicates that (X1), (X2), (X3) do  not have significant influence on the fluctuation of Rupiah against UD dollar, while (X4) does. To sum up, in addition to macroeconomic factors, non economic ones also influence the fluctuation of Rupiah against US dollar.

Abstract

The advancement of the information and technology has affected computer-based accounting information system. One of which is myob accounting. The study is aimed to know whether the learning result of accounting cycle and computer skill and information management to the operation of myob accounting software or not; also the research wanted to know to what extent the learning competence of accounting cycle and computer skill and information management contribute to myob accounting. The result of the study shows that calculation of F test was 11.874 with F table of 3.25. From the data analysis, its contribution is considered significant, which is 62%. Meanwhile, the individual contribution for learning result shown with calculation of t test was 3.297 with “t” table is 2.03. The learning result of computer skill and information management against software operation of myob accounting shown by the calculation of “t” test was 2.184 with t table 2.03. Thus, both hypotheses are proved.

Abstract

The achievement report of a student must consider the student’s task assessment and daily examinations. The study, therefore, is intended to find out (1) whether the task assessment and daily examination contribute integratedly to composing the achievement report of accounting subject of the eleventh grade students of social science at SMA Hang Tuah 2 Sidoarjo, (2) whether task assessment and daily examinations discreetly contribute to the achievement reporting, (3) which of the two variables is the most dominant in contributing to the achievement reporting. The study uses descriptive qualitative approach. The data were collected through interview and documentation. The data then were analized with double linier regression analysis. The study shows that(1) there is asignificant influence of varieble X1 and X2 integratedly on the achievement reporting, which is 36.013, (2) there is also significant influence of X1 and X2  discreetly on the achievement reporting which is up to 5.642, and (3) the most dominant variable is task assessment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is (1) to know the influence of machine / equipments investment growth on the electronic machine metal industry and various production value in Waru District in year 2002-2007, (2) to describe machine/equipment investment growth, electronic machine metal industry and various production value in Waru District. The study uses descriptive statistics in the form of tables, graph, or diagram through calculation of percentage. To find out the relationship between machine/equipments investment, electronic machine metal industry, and various production value in Waru District, the study uses linear regression with SPSS version 12. In conclusion, there is very unidirectional and strong relation between machine/equipments investment and electronic machine metal industry and various production value. Because F hit value > F tab of hence Ho refused. It means that there is influence between machine/ equipments investment on electronic machine metal industry and variety production value in Waru District.

Abstract

The research is intended to find out the implementation of active learning with group study strategies. This classroom action research consisted of three cycles, each of which included four stages. The data collection techniques were observationand testsin each cycle. The data were analyzed in descriptive qualitative manner by calcualting the average scores of the students’ learning results. The finding showed that the classical learning results in cycle 1 is 43.24 %, in cycle 2 is 83.78%, and in cycle 3 is 94.59 %. It means that active learning with group study strategies can be used in other lesson materials.

Abstract

 Auditing is the  reverse process of accounting cycle , that is, tracing from financial report to transaction evidence. The process of teaching Auditing, therefore, has the lecturer explain clearly, demonstrate accurately, and perform a model, monitor, and give exercise and  feed back. The method of teaching suitable for this course is direct instruction. This study is aimed to enhance the D3 students UNESA in auditing skill a financial report of a company through direct instruction. The target was that an individual student  learning mastery (score > 65) and the classical learning mastery (e” 80 of all students) were achieved. The research showed that the students’ score increased continuously and the target was reached. In the first cycle 54, 55 % of the students gained B, in the second and the third cycle 72,73 % and 81, 82 % respectively.

Abstract

Workers’ productivity has close relationship with the competency of each worker, that is to improve work. Productivity of a company refers to the demand of needs by Maslow.  This research is aimed to know whether motivation, environment, discipline, and work spirit have an effect on workers’ productivity at production division of  PG. Gempolkrep Mojokerto. The population was the workers of production division at PG. Gempolkrep Mojokerto which consisted of 140 person.  103 person were chosen as  respondents by using proportional random sampling technique. Then,  the data obtained with questionnaire were analyzed with multiple linier regression analysis aided with SPSS programers 11.5 for windows.
