Abstract

Entrepreneurship education is one aspect of education that is directed to produce individuals who are able to seize opportunities and create new economic activity. Entrepreneurship education will equip students with entrepreneurial spirit and sufficient life skill to build new business. Implementation of entrepreneurship education can be developed by utilizing the students cooperative institution. Entrepreneurship education is done through two channels. Entrepreneurship education is first developed in the internal cooperative students through formal, nonformal and informal. Second, cooperatives are used as a laboratory for students to conduct entrepreneurial lectures.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether students ‘motivation factor, the interest of students, teachers and parents’ income affect student learning outcomes in economic subject, and what the dominant factor affects student learning outcomes in economic subject. The data were collected with questionnaires and report cards. The study used multiple regressions. The study showed that motivation and interest of students, teachers, and parents’ income affected significantly the students’ learning outcomes. Motivation is the most dominant variable which affected the students’ learning outcome.

Abstract

The study was intended to examine the effect of wage and working environment on the employees’ work productivity in Written Batik Gedog firm, UD Budi Karya Kerek Tuban. The study was quantitative research. The data were collected with payroll, questionnaire, and production list. The data were then analyzed with multiple linier regression.The findings showed that wage and working environment affected significantly the work productivity of employees. The effect of wage and working environment on the work productivity reached by 76.8 %, while other variables affected 23.2 % of the work productivity. Wage had dominant influence on the productivity.

Abstract

 The research was conducted to investigate the use of blog (e-learning) to achieve the learning mastery of the students in entrepreneurship course. Specifically, it was intended to find out the teachers’ and students’ activities in learning process, the students’ learning result, and response to the use of blog. The study was classroom action research. The results revealed that the students’ and teacher’s activities improved in the second cycle. The percentage of students who achieved the learning mastery in the first cycle was 79.48 %. In the second cycle, it increased by 89.74 %. The students had positive response to the use of blog (e-learning) as a learning medium.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to examine the effect of the mastery of productive accounting course and interest on the success of industrial internship among the eleventh graders in the accounting program of SMK Negeri I Lamongan. The subjects were 38 eleventh graders of the school.The data were collected through documentation and questionnaire. The data were then analyzed with multiple regressions. The result of the study showed that the students’mastery of productive accounting course and interest affected their success in industrial internship by 19.4 %, while other variables affected the rest.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to examine the use of instructional module of service firm accounting to increase the learning mastery of eleventh graders of SMA Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman. The classroom action research consisted of two cycles. The data collection techniques were observation, test, and documentation. The data were then analyzed through cyclical reflections. The result of the study showed that through the use of instructional module, the students’ and teachers’ instructional activities improved. Additionally, all students in the designated class achieved the learning mastery.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to examine the use of reciprocal teaching on macro-  and micro-economic topic to achieve the students’ learning mastery. The study was  classroom action research. The subjects of the study were all students in class X-6 at SMA Negeri I Manyar Gresik. The data collection methods were interview, observation, test, and questionnaire. The data analysis technique was descriptive qualitative. The result of the study indicated that the use of reciprocal teaching was able to help the students to achive the learning mastery. In addition, the teacher’s classroom management improved, and the students’ activities were also good. The students also responded positively the use of the reciprocal teaching.

Abstract

The aim of the study is investigate whether there is a difference in the assignment score and formative test score. The population was all the tenth year students of Accounting classes at SMK Negeri I Mojoagung in the academic year 2008-2009, while the sample was the tenth year students of Accounting class I.  The data were collected through interview, documentation, and tests. The data were then analyzed with t-test. The result indicates that there is a significant difference   in the students’ assignment score and formative test score.

Abstract

The study is aimed to scrutinize the role of agro-industrial sector in boosting the people’ income, employment, to analyze backward and forward effect relation of agro-industrial sector and the output of farming sector, and to analyze the variables influencing the production increase of agro-industrial sector, and determine the prioritized farming commodities to create higher employment in East Java Province.  The data were analyzed with input-output and econometric analyses. Econometric analysis reveals that investment, export, and import have a positive association with the increased production of agro-industrial sector. In addition, theinput-output analysis shows that mills are a seeded sector if viewed from the distribution indicator, and food industries are a seeded sector if seen from the number of related sectors and sensitivity degree.

Abstract

 The research is intended to develop a learning material in Accounting Equation, to describe the suitability of the material with assessment criteria issued by BSNP, and to describe the students’ response to the learning material. The research uses four D model, but confined to the level develop. The data collection techniques were validation sheets of learning materials and questionnaire of students’ response. The result shows that the learning material has already met the criteria up to 61 % in terms of content and presentation. The students responded positively to the content and presentation suitability of the learning material.
