Abstract

The aims of this research is to study consumer characteristics and the influence of promotion, price, product and place on consumer purchase decision of Toyota Yaris car at PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado. The data is primary data collected from questionnaire of which distributed to 100 buyers as well as owners of Toyota Yaris car at PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado. Data analysis result is obtained using cluster analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The result of cluster analysis shows that there are three clusters: cluster 1 with lower middle-income buyers, cluster 2 with upper middle-income buyers, and cluster 3 with upper income buyers. The results of multiple linear regression analysis are: partial result on consumer decision with the correlation coefficient of promotion (X1) is 80.3%, price (X2) is 51.4%, product (X3) is 82.4%, and place (X4) is 62.4% which means these four variables have strong relationship on consumer decision, and simultaneously test result shows that promotion, price, product, and place contribute 74.5% with Fcount 69.373 and under 0.05 level of significance

Abstract

This study discusses the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on turnover intention and job satisfaction of medical nurses at Bethesda General Hospital Tomohon. Data collection method in this research is questionnaire with population as well as the sample as many as 180 medical nurses.  Data analysis method is simple linear regression. Research result shows that OCB (X) has no significant and negative influence on turnover intention (Y1) of medical nurses at Bethesda general hospital Tomohon. It means turnover intention of medical nurses at Bethesda general hospital Tomohon has no relationship with OCB behavior. Research result also shows that OCB (X) has significant and positive influence on job satisfaction (Y2) of medical nurses at Bethesda general hospital Tomohon. This research indicates that behavior of OCB performed by employees determine their job satisfaction. The more intense of OCB behavior, the higher job satisfaction is.

Abstract

The results of research are as follows: (1) learning orientation has significant and positive influence on competitive advantage of state university. This influence shows that the higher learning orientation applied by the management of state university, the higher competitive advantage is. It means that learning orientation is a strong determinant factor of competitive advantage for state university; (2) market orientation has significant and positive influence on competitive advantage. It shows that the higher market orientation, the higher competitive advantage of state university is. Therefore, competitive advantage of state university besides determined by other factors, cannot neglect market orientation for it has strong determination; and (3) both learning orientation and market orientation simultaneously have significant and positive influence on competitive advantage. Abstract

The objective of this research is to discover the influence of compensation, motivation, work environment, and work stress on employee performance. Research instrument is questionnaire in the form of structured questionnaire. Closed questionnaire is used as it is question models with answer choices provided so that respondents only choose from alternative answers according to their opinion or choice. Those closed questions explain respond from respondents on variables of compensation, motivation, work environment, work stress, and employee performance. Analysis method is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of research shows that compensation, motivation, work environment, and work stress influence employee performance, partially and simultaneously at PT. BCA KCU Manado. It is suggested  that company always raises salary, facilitates employees to strengthen employees relationships, create comfortable work environment for its employees, develops skills and abilities of employees to improve their performance and thus profitable to the company

Abstract

The Korean Wave is a way of Korea to transmit its influence or culture into another countries using entertainment. The enchantment of Korean Wave has brought a lot of positive influence on image and culture of Korea in the eyes of international consumers. Manado city as one city that absorb many interesting things from overseas also as soft target for this charming and influencing Korean Wave. The influence of Korean Wave is easily to be absorbed by young generation in Manado especially via entertainment. Korean entertainment businesses with their entire formats start to and spread into so many young people in Manado.  This research aims to examine determinant factors in attractiveness of Korean entertainment on young consumers in Manado. Analysis data is factor analysis. The result of research shows that there are six determinant factors in attractiveness of Korean entertainment, namely: psychology, product, closeness, positive stimulus, similarity, and price.

Abstract

Manado city is one of cities in Indonesia that grows rapidly and has good economic growth that business people to introduce their products target it. One company that introduce its products is Daihatsu Terios. Daihatsu Terios is an SUV car production. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of product quality, price competitiveness, brand image, and reference group on consumer purchase decision of Daihatsu Terios car in Manado. Based on partial analysis, it shows that product quality, price, brand image, and reference group influence consumer purchase decision of Daihatsu Terios car in Manado. It means, according to consumers, product quality, price competitiveness, brand image, and reference group are considered important when purchase Daihatsu Terios car. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of job placement, work environment, job characteristics on performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable. Hypothesis can be concluded that job placement, work environment, job characteristics, and job satisfaction influence performance at PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado partially and simultaneously. Primary data is used through questionnaire to as many as 62 employees of PT. Hasjrat Abadi Manado. Data analysis is path analysis. The result shows that the influence of job placement (X1), work environment (X2), job characteristics (X3) on job satisfaction (X4) simultaneously has contributed to job satisfaction (X4) as much as 38.0%. Variables of job placement (X1), work environment (X2), job characteristics (X3), and job satisfaction (X4) to employee performance (Y) used simultaneously to test the influence at 0.05% level of significance

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan spiritual dan kecerdasan intelektual terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Bank Sulut Kantor Pusat.            Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori tentang kecerdasan yang terbagi dalam tiga aspek yakni emosional, spriritual dan intelektual serta teori kinerja terhadap karyawan.     Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh manajer dan karyawan kantor pusat Bank Sulut. Sampai dengan Juli 2012, jumlah karyawan di kantor pusat Bank Sulut adalah 208 orang. Penelitian mengambil sampel yang akan digunakan berjumlah 120 orang. Analisa data menggunakan X2 (Chi Kudrat) dan Regresi Berganda.Dari nilai Fhitung sebesar 17,806 dan dengan menggunakan nilai signifikansi sebesar 5% dan derajat kebebasan, df1 = 2 dan df2 = (n-k-1) = (100-3-1) = 96 dimana n adalah jumlah responden dan k adalah jumlah variabel bebas, maka didapatkan nilai Ftabel sebesar 3,0912. Bila dibandingkan, maka nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (17,806 > 3,0912), sehingga Ho ditolak.Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kecerdasan intelektual (IQ), kecerdasan emosional (EQ), dan kecerdasan spiritual (SQ) secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor pusat PT. Bank Sulut. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengujian tentang pengaruh kecerdasan intelektual (IQ), emosional (EQ), dan k spiritual (SQ) yang dimiliki karyawan kantor pusat PT. Bank Sulut terhadap kinerjanya sebagai karyawan. Pengujian ini dibagi menjadi 5 (lima) hipotesis yang diteliti, baik secara parsial maupun secara keseluruhan. Dari ketiga jenis kecerdasan yang diteliti, kecerdasan intelektual yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan kantor pusat PT. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis beberapa variabel yang dapat mempengaruhi Kinerja karyawan yaitu: kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja. Apakah variabel tersebut secara simultan dan secara parsial mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Hipotesa yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) diduga kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja  secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.  (2) diduga Kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja dan kemampuan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pegawai di PT. Pertani (Persero) Area Pemasaran Sulawesi sejumlah 62 orang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan model analisis regresi linier berganda.  Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) faktor-faktor kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, motivasi kerja  dan kemampuan kerja  secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai PT. Pertani (Persero) Area Pemasaran Sulawesi, keempat faktor ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai sebesar 69,2% dan yang sisanya 30,8%  adalah kontribusi oleh variabel lain di luar 4 variabel bebas yang diteliti. (2) Seluruh faktor Kepemimpinan, Lingkungan kerja, Motivasi  dan Kemampuan kerja secara parsial berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai             PT. Pertani (Persero) Area Pemasaran Sulawesi. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Iklan Televisi Produk Aqua Dengan Menggunakan Metode EPIC model dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Produk Aqua di Kota Manado secara parsial dan simultan. Metode Analisa yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode EPIC model dan analisis regresi berganda serta pemrosesan data menggunakan program SPSS Version 18.0.Dan dalam Metode Regresi Linear Berganda menjadi Y = - 2,344 + 0,167X1 + 0,065X2 + 0,084X3 + 0,087X4.. keempat variabel yang digunakan memberikan pengaruh yang sama yakni berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian. Angka R Square biasa disebut dengan koefisien determinasi, angka tersebut berarti 70,2% keputusan pembelian konsumen dipengaruhi oleh variabel emphaty, persuasion, impact, dan communicatio sedangkan 29,8% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian.
