Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of competence and compensation to organizational commitment through achievement motivation in personnel who already have the certification of the procurement of goods and services in the Central Java Police Headquarters. Population of 100 people, with census sampling technique, so that the total sample of 100 people. Analysis using: test the validity of the factor analysis (KMO> 0.5), reliability testing with Chrombach Alpha (Alpha Chrombach> 0.6), the model test with Adjusted R2 and F-test, hypothesis testing with multiple linear regression and t test (t count> 0,05).The results: competence and compensation a positive effect on organizational commitment, and competence and compensation directly influence organizational commitment without mediation through achievement motivation. Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine the influence of education and training, social capital and organizational commitment to employee job satisfaction Secretariat General Affairs Section Regional Secretariat of Central Java Province. To examine the effect of organizational commitment mediates the influence of education and training in employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment mediates the effect of social capital on job satisfaction of employees of General Affairs Section Regional Secretariat of Central Java Province.In this study population used is the General Affairs Section Secretariat of Central Java province, amounting to 130 people. The samples are part of the population that is used as an object of research headcount above 130 people. The determination of the number of samples by using purposive sampling technique sapling which means sampling based on certain criteria that an employee who has a minimum term of 5 years . Based on these criteria produced a sample of 110 respondents.Pursuant to result of research which have been conducted by hence can know by training and education have an effect on positive to organizational commitment. Social capital have an effect on to organizational commitment. Training education have an effect on positive to satisfaction of job. Social capital have an effect on to satisfaction of job. Organizational Commitment have an effect on to satisfaction of job. Organizational Commitment do not education mediate and training to satisfaction work because indirect influence smaller than at direct influence. Organizational Commitment do not social capital mediate to satisfaction work because indirect influence smaller than at direct influence. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Brand, Product Quality, Price on the Product Value and its impact on Interests Buying Rambak Fish Skin. This research was conducted on consumers rambak fish skin in the district Batang with infinite population. Sampling technique using purposive sampling, with the criteria established by the requirement that consumers who have bought the fish skin rambak least 1 time purchase products rambak fish skin, and is domiciled in the district of Batang many as 100 people and statistical method are used to test the validity of the components of matrix, test reliability with cronbach alpha, multiple regression analysis, t test and the adjusted r square R2.The results reveal that the Brand has a positive effect with beta value = 0.000 and no significant effect on the Product Value rambak fish skin in the district Batang (sig = 0.994> 0.05). Product Quality has a positive effect with a beta value = 0.212 and significant 0.032 <0.05 on the Product Value rambak fish skin in the district Batang. Price has a positive effect with a beta value = 0.691 and significant 0.000 <0.05 on the Product Value rambak fish skin in the district Batang. Brands has a positive effect with a beta value = 0.103, and not significant 0.233> 0.05 on Buying Interest in the district Batang. Product Quality has a positive effect with beta value = 0.153 and not significant 0.168> 0.05 on Buying Interest. The Price has a positive effect and significant beta value of 0.303 with significant value of 0.012 <0.05 on Buying Interest, a positive effect the Product has Value beta 0.359 and significant Buying Interest with a significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. The Product Value does not mediate the effect of the Interest in Buying the Brand, the Product Value does not mediate the effect of the Interest in Buying the Product Quality, the Product Value does not mediate the effect of Price on Purchase Interest. Abstract

Research is done to all employees in the regional Secretariat Batang Regency that has numbers 143 people. From the numbers of employees who become respondent and eligible to be processed were 117 respondent. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze and employee performance.Based on the validity on the result, all variable have KMO values greater than 0,5 is career development 0,755; work satisfaction is 0,825; organisational commitment is 0,846; and 0,824 for employee performance. So, it can be concluded that the sample had to fulfill adequacy ratio. While the value of loading factor of each indicator variable is greater than 0,4, than it can be declared invalid. Whereas the reliability of test results showing the result of all variables is more than 0,6. So, it can be concluded that the variables used in this study said to be reliable. To test the ability of the model fit and the career development variables in explaining the job satisfaction organizational commitment variables was 55,5%. While variable capabilities career development, job satisfaction and organizational commitment variables in expaining the performance3 of employees is 64,5%.Results of hypothesis testing result show that the whole hypothesis is accepted. It means all independent variables positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. The result also showed that organizational commitment did not mediate influence of career development on employee performance. Similarly, the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance was not mediated by organizational commitment. Abstract

In principle, performance is a result being intended by a worker on procluded criteria. In practice, however , one who implements it needs to consider some factors such as organizational culture, locus of control, and job satisfaction. The research aims to analyze direct efeects of organizatitonal culture, locus of control on employee performance. Intervening variable in this research is job satisfaction of the employee of Office for Management of Regional Finance and Assets in Semarang City. Populations of the research are derived from all employee who works at Office for Management of Regional Finance and Assets in Semarang City having been officially civil servant. There are 241 individuals who attend a purposive sampling with category are working life, grade and education is 126 of them become respondent. Models to be developed during the research are five hypothetical models, which go for validity test with component matrix, reability test with cronchbach alpha, double regresion analitical, t test and adjusted r square.The result of research indicate that variable of organizational culture, have a positive and significant influenc on job satisfaction, variable of locus of control have a positive and significant influence on job satisfaction, variable of organizational culture have not influence on employee performance, locus of control have positive and significant influence on employee performance and job satisfaction have not influence on employee performance.Implication of the policy to be proposed by manager of Management of Regional Finance and Assets in Semarang City is organizational culture, contol on lucus of control and establishment of employee job satisfaction in order to improve their performance. Key words : organizational culture, lcus of control, job satisfaction and employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the variables that affect Local Revenue of the Government of Central Java Province . After reviewed the literature necessary that related to thhae variables defined in this study, this research Gross Regional Domestic Product , Inflation Rate and Total Customer Electricity could have impact Original Local Revenue. This research was a case study 35 regencies / municipalities in Central Java Province . Data analysis used panel data regression .Based on Normality Test showed that residual was to obtain a better panel data regression model this research used the Chow test and Hausman test . Chow Test results concluded that the FEM models was better than PLS models . While the results of Hauman test concluded that the FEM models was better than REM models . This means that the selected model is the model of FEM . Based on the FEM model the multiple linear regression equation is PAD = - 7.8289 + 2.3631.GRDP - 0.0021.INF + 0.0476.JPL . The result of model testing using adjusted R square and ANOVA technique was concluded that model was good.Then the result of hyphotheses testing procedure showed that The Inflation Rate and The Total of Electric Customers had no significant effect Original Local Revenue in Central Java Province. Only Gross Regional Domestic Product ( PDRB ) has a positive and significant impact Original Local Revenue. Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze the impact of Local Original Revenue (LOR), Revenue Sharing (RS), the General Allocation Fund (GAF) and Special Allocation Fund (SAF) on the Capital Expenditure Allocation ( CEA ) of District / town Goverment in Central Java Province. This research used realization data of budget accountability of 35 district / town government in Central Java province on the periode 2007-2011 of Fiscal Year. So that the number of cases in this research were 175 data (35 cross section and 5 year time series). The research used panel data technique with Pooled Least Square ( PLS ), Fixed Effect Model ( FEM ) and Random Effect Model ( REM ).Based on model testing procedure this research used Fixed Effect Model ( FEM ). The results showed that Local Original Revenue (LOR), Revenue Sharing (RS), the General Allocation Fund (GAF) had a positive significant effect on Capital Expenditure Allocation ( CEA ) of 35 district / town government in Central Java Province while Special Allocation Fund (SAF) had no significant effect on Capital Expenditure Allocation ( CEA .  Keywords: Local Original Revenue, Revenue Sharing, General Allocation Fund, the Special Allocation Fund and Capital Expenditures.

Abstract

This research is aimed to explain the effects of empowerment, career development and working environment on employee’s performance with the motivation mediation in CV Buana Raya Semarang. This research is conducted in t census method with the population of all the employees of CV Buana Raya. Survey data is collected from 77 employees with the method of collecting data by giving quesionare ( list of questions ) to the employees. To test the validity of the data gatheredit uses validity test ( factor analyze ) and reliability test with the coefficient alpha . And the statistictest which is used is regression R2 and t test to test the significancy ofregression coefficient. The result of this research shows that empowerment, career development, and working environment are significantly influence the employee’s motivation. This research also shows that empowerment, career development and working environment don’t influence the employees’ performance since they can’t interfere the three dimensions of performance i.e personal, psychology, and organisation. On the other hand motivation influence significantly to the employees’ performance. The conclusion is empowerment, career development and working enviroment don’t directly influence the performance but with the motivation mediation those three variables can influence the perfoemance of employees in CV. Abstract

In organizingthe activities of government and development position and role of civil servantsis very important. This is due toan elementof civil servants who carry out the state apparatus of governance and developmentin order to achieve national objectives. The human elementis an importantelement, becausethe human active and dominant rolein anyorganization. Programs and objectivesin order to achievethe necessary organizational support employee performance. The purposeof this studywas to analyzethe influence of personal characteristic sand job characteristics on employee performance with organizational culture of moderation. This study establishesthe employee population Department of Tourism Culture Youth and Sports, amounting to 12 0people with taking the censu smethod. Validit yanalysis tools, relibilitas test, test the coefficient of determination, F-test, regression analysis, Ttest, testm oderation.Results showed personal characteristics (X1) has apositiv eeffecton performance(Y). Job characteristics(X2) has apositive effect on the performance ofjob performance (Y). Ofthe independent variables, namel ypersonal characteristics and job characteristic sthat have a dominant influenc eon the performanc echaracteristics ofthe jobisvariable (X2).Personal characteristics variable sresults moderation with organizational culture, organizational culture variable sca nnot moderate the effect of job characteristics variables showed variable organizational culture organizational culture moderate theeffect ofjob characteristics on the performance variable. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of motivation on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction and organizational commitment . In this study, the population was an civil government employee at the District Secretariat of Pati Regency , amounting to 215 peoples. In this research, sampling using purposive sampling. The criteria used in the determination of this sample is Pati District Secretariat officials who have a service life over 10 years and a minimum of high school education. So, the number of samples in this study were 123 respondents. Testing methods using regression and path analysis with test results as follows: (1) motivation positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, (2) motivation positive and significant impact on organizational commitment, (3) job satisfaction positive influential and significant to organizational commitment, (4) motivation positive and significant impact on the performance of employees, (5) job satisfaction and a significant positive effect on employee performance, (6) organizational commitment and significant positive effect on employee performance, (7) job satisfaction proved to mediate the influence of motivation on employee performance , (8) organizational commitment shown to mediate pengarhun motivation on employee performance, (9) job satisfaction and organizational commitment shown to mediate the effect of motivation on employee performance Keywords : motivation, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and employee performance.
