Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and communication on performance by mediating social capital (Study at District Secretariat of Batang Regency). Defined population for this study was Civil Servants at District Secretariat of Batang Regency as much as 145 person with a defined sample at 100 people are proportionally distributed. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Data analysis using multiple regression. Results of hypothesis testing showed that transformational leadership positively impact on social capital with a significance at 0,000, communication positively impact on social capital with a significance at 0,000, transformational leadership positively impact on performance with a significance at 0,004, communication positively impact on performance with a significance at 0,035 and social capital positively impact on performance with a significance at 0,000. Mediation testing suggests that social capital is not a mediating variable of transformational leadership effect on performance. Social capital is the mediating variable of communication effect on performance, meaning social capital are better able to explain the influence of communication on performance through mediation of social capital. Abstract

This research in conduct to test and analyze (1) The influence of empowerment and self efficacy toward commitment organizational, (2) The influence of empowerment, self efficacy and commitment organizational toward employee performance. Located research in Inspektorat Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Research sample amount to 90 respondent by using census. This research is explanatory research. Measurement to use scale likert with 7 (seven) alternative answer. This result of multiple regression analyze show coefficient determination amount 0.333 or with other word different on commitment organizational which have to description by The influence of empowerment and self efficacy amount 33.3 percent. Different on performance which have to description by empowerment, self efficacy and commitment organizational amount 54,1 percent. This research shows these following result (1) by empowerment and self efficacy have on significant effect toward commitment organizational, (2) by empowerment, self efficacy and commitment organizational have an significant effect to employee performance. Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze The role of job characteristics, empowerment and motivation on lecturer performance with organizational commitment as mediation on Akpelni Semarang. This study was conducted using population and carried on in Akpelni lecturer who has minimum term of 5 years. Engineering test data used in this study include validity, reliability testing, regression analysis, t test and mediation. The results of the analysis and discussion showed that the job characteristic positive and significant impact on Organizational Commitment, Empowerment and no significant negative effect on Organizational Commitment, Motivation positive and significant impact on Organizational Commitment, Job Characteristics and no positive effect was not significant for Lecturers Performance, Empowerment influential positive and significant for Lecturers Performance, Motivation no positive effect and no significant effect on performance and Lecturer of Organizational Commitment positive but not significant effect on performance Lecturer. The results showed that job characteristics does not affect performance directly Lecturer, Empowerment Lecturer directly affect performance and motivation are not directly influence the performance Lecturer. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of empowerment and job characteristics on the job performance through motivation and organizational commitment (A Study in Distric Kragan of Rembang Regency).The population in this study is the all civil service in the area of distric Kragan amount to 174 people. This study use proportional sampling, where samples are selected based on the particular purpose. As for the acceptance criteria for the samples are limited only for employee who’s with minimum service of 5 years . Thus reduced the samples into 115 people.This study using statistical tests that include validity test with factor analysis, reliability test using Cronbachs alpha, double regression analysis, and significance test using the coefficient of determination to prove the validity of hypothesis and for mediation tests. The results of this study correctly proved that model’s ability to explain correctly , the variable of empowerment, job characteristic, motivation and organizational commitment’s influence to job performance is amounted 96,3% . Whereas the other’s is 3,7% as explained by variables outside the data-model. Mediating effect test proved that the effect of empowerment and job characteristic to job performance is not mediated by motivation and organizational commitment Keywords : empowerment, job characteristics, motivation, organizational commitment and job performance

Abstract

This research aim to analyze the role of school organization culture moderate the influence of school principal’s leaderships and competence to teacher performance in SMP at Kesesi district of Pekalongan residenceThe population in this research is all SMP teachers at Kesesi district of Pekalongan residance there were 134 people. Data colleting methode is use quesionery. The measurement use likert scale on 7 alternative answers. Instrument measurement with validaty and realibity test. The classic assumption test using normality test, heterokedastisty test, and mulicoloneriety test. While testing model using coeficient determination test and F test (goodnes of fit). Hiphotesys test by using regresion analyze.The result of research is showing that (i) teacher competances is positif and significant influence to teacher performance (ii) school principal’s leadership is positif and significant influence to teacher performance, (iii) school organization culture is positif and significant influence to teacher performance, (iv) school organization culture not moderate the influence of teacher competence to teacher performance (v) school organization culture not moderate the influence of school principal’s leadership to teacher performance. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of compensation and motivation on employee performance is mediated by job satisfaction in employees of PT .Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero)Tbk Semarang Metro Area. The population in this study was the BRI bank employees 300 people, where sampling technique with purposive sampling criteria have become a permanent employee minimum term of 5 years, in order to obtain a total sample of 103 people. Testing the research instrument to 40 items using validity by factor analysis with Alpha Chrombach reliability test, whereas data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression.The study found that the direct effect of compensation on performance. Compensation is formed especially in the form of material and social compensation, namely the existence of insurance coverage, a bonus in the achievement of targets, the promotion of an employee, and the comfort of working space. As for the performance achieved the employees in the form of quantity of work, which is achieved through teamwork targets, the division of labor, and complete the work in accordance with the procedure. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate the effect of compensation on employee performance and motivation PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia because the results obtained are not significant. Abstract

This study was investigated about the role of school culture moderated influence commitment and competence on teacher performance. Specifically, this study examine and analisys whether the role of school culture moderated influence commitment and competence on teacher performance. The contribution of this study is explain and explore the previous research about the influence school culture, commitment, and competence on teacher performance. The study population was a primary school teacher in UPT Bawang District of Batang Regency. This research data is the primary data collected directly from the respondents to the questionnaire. This researc method approach with computer software SPSS for windows version 16. The method of data analisys using moderation regression analisys (MRA) type quasi moderator. The result of this study shows an interesting empirical conditions to be further investigated as follow; the cometence was significant influence to teacher performance, but after interacting with school culture, the role school culture to weaken influence of competence on teacher performance. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of local revenue (PAD), the General Allocation Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and Fiscall Stress on Fiscal Decentralization Degree of Regency / City in Central Java province in 2007-2011. The data used is Realized Budget Report regencies / cities sampled, published on its website www.djpk.depkeu.go.id. The sampling method used is the census because the object of this study is the all of 35 district and city in the province of Central Java. Types of data used are secondary data with panel data (pooled data) because it is a combination of time series and cross section data. The method of analysis used is the analysis of panel data with Pooling Least Square (PLS) and Generalized Least Square (GLS). The results showed that the variables local revenue have positive and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, DAU have negative and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, DAK have negative and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree, FiscallStress have positive and significant impact on Fiscal Decentralization Degree. Dependent Variable is Fiscal Decentralization Degre influenced by independent variables PAD, DAU, DAK and Fiscall Stress at 96.5% while the remaining 3.5% is explained by other variables outside the model. Abstract

This research analysis the influence of the working discipline and motivation to the teachers’ performance to with the mediation of job satisfaction at State SMK sub Rayon 04 Semarang. This research is aimed to : (1) analyze the influence of the working discipline to the job satisfaction; (2) analyze the influence of the working motivation to the job satisfaction; (3) analyze the influence of the working discipline to the teachers’ performance; (4) analyze the influence of the working motivation to the teachers’ performance; (5) analyze the influence of the job satisfaction to the teachers’ performance;The data collection of this research is using survey method and it is a population research (sensus study) which has 99 respondents. This is an explanatory research, and data analyze is using statistical analyze by the help of SPSS software for Windows Release 20.0.The results show that : (1) the working discipline has positive and significant influence to the teachers’ job satisfaction; (2) the working motivation has no significantly influence to the job satisfaction of the teacher; (3) the working discipline has positive and significant influences to the teachers’ performance; (4) working motivation has positif and significant influence to the teachers’ performance; (5) job satisfaction has positive and significant influence to the teachers’ performance; Keywords : discipline, working motivation, job satisfaction, teachers’ performance
