Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Transformational leadership and empowerment on performance, moderated by the job satisfaction in Marine Polytechnic State of Semarang.The population of this study is 98 Lecturer of Polytechnic State of Semarang. Analysis of the data was using linear regression The result of this study find that the transformational leadership is affect in job satisfaction, the empowerment is affect in job satisfaction, the transformational leadership is affect the performance of lecturers, the empowerment is effect on the performance of lectures, the job satisfaction is effect on the performance of lecturer, the job satisfaction does not mediate the transformational leadership to the performance of lecturer because the indirect effect is smaller than the direct affect and job satisfaction does not mediate the empowerment to the performance of lecturers because the indirect effect is smaller than the direct affect. Abstract

The research is for examining the effect of work motivation and teachers competent for teachers job moderation in leading headmaster (study of PAUD Teachers in UPT Dinas Pendidikan Kec. Pati ).The research is a quantitative research that used survey method by analysis descriptive. The method that used in this research is census where the same sample with the amount of population is 135 teachers, whereas the data that process is 177 teachers. The measuring used Likert Scale with 7 answers alternative. The instrument is using validity and reliability. Whereas, the model of this research is Determination Coefficient (R2) and F (Goodness of Fit). The hypothesis in this research is using Regressed analysis. Based on this research can be concluded ( i) the work motivation can be positive effect and significant for teachers job, (ii) teachers competent can not positive effect for teachers job, (iii) the leading of headmaster can not positive effect and significant for teachers job, ( iv) the leading of headmaster can improve the effect of teachers competent for teachers job. Abstract

Social capital is very useful for teachers because it will support the work process . Teachers who have social capital is both easy access to the wider resources so as to improve the quality , relevance , and timeliness of the information necessary for teachers to support their work.Entire study population Teachers in public and private high school in Kendal district , as many as 133 teachers . The research sample of 100 teachers with proportional random sampling technique . Data analysis and hypothesis testing using multiple regression with SPSS 16.0 for windows release . Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the role of “The Role of Organitation Culture to Moderate Working Motivation and Social Capital Toward Teacher’s Performance of State Junior High School in Kendal Regency”. The problems in the research are:1) Whether working motivation has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance. 2) Whether social capital has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s kinerja performance. 3) Whether organitation culture has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance. 4)Whether organitation culture moderate the effect of working motivation towards teacher’s performance. 5) Whether organitation culture moderate the effect of social capital towards teacher’s kinerja performance. This research is done toward 103 state teachers in Kendal Regency. This research is a quantitative research that analize and prove the research hypothesis.The data analysis used double regression analysis that was run through SPSS software of version 16. The result of analysis got statistically were: 1) Working motivation has positive effect and significant towards teacher’s performance, shown with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .245 with significant level 0,002 that means smaller than 0,005 and means accepted hypothesis. 2) Social capital has positive effect and significant toward teacher’s performance, proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .453 with significant level 0,000 that means smaller than 0,05 and means accepted hypothesis 3) Organitation culture has positive effect and significant toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdizet coefficient as many as .222 with significant level 0,010 that means smaller than 0,05 and means accepted hypothesis 4) Organitation culture doesn’t moderate the effect of working motivation toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized interaction 3 (motivation x organitation culture) toward teacher’s performance has bête standartdized cooficient as many as -,045 with significant level .671 that means bigger than 0,05 and means unaccepted hypothesis Organitation culture doesn’t moderate the effect of social capital toward teacher’s performance proved with hypothesis test of beta standartdized coefficient as many as .009 with significant level .937 that means bigger than 0,05 and means unaccepted hypothesis. In moderation test proves that organitation culture is not the variable that moderates the effect of working motivation and social capital toward teacher’s performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the influences communication interpersonal teacher, work discipline, the importance work motivation have a role as mediator variabel to communication interpersonal teacher and work discipline for increasing of teacher’s job performance in SMK Theresiana Semarang.The population in this research are 90 civil servant teachers in SMK Theresiana Semarang that used for the research as respondents.The methodologies of data collection use questionnaires with Likert scale in the range 1 – 7, and are used as primary data or data got from questionnair’s answer respondents. Statistical technique used was multiple regression analysis.The results show that communication interpersonal teacher, work discipline, and work motivation communication among teacher and work discipline can explain variations in performance of teachers SMK Theresiana Semarang by 76.4 %, the rest explained by other factors not examined in this research. The work discipline have influenced is more dominant by 23.6% than the communication interpersonal teacher for increasing of teacher’s job performance, but work motivation can to mediation communication interpersonal teacher and work discipline for increasing of teacher’s job performance in SMK Theresiana Semarang. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational commitment and competence on employee’s performance through job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) mediation in Dinas Pendapatan dan Pengelolaan Aset Daerah, Central Java Province.The method used in this study was census, whereas statistic technique was using instrument test with validity test criteria with KMO>0.5 and matrix component >0.4, reliability test with cronbach alpha > 0.7, and multiple regression analysis with adjusted-R square criterion, F test, t-test and path analysis.Based on the results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1) organizational commitment has positive influence on job satisfaction. 2) Competency has positive influence on job satisfaction. 3) Organizational commitment has positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). 4) Competency has positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). 5) Job satisfaction has positive influence on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). 6) Organizational commitment has positive influence on performance. 7) Competency has positive influence on performance. 8) Job satisfaction has positive influence on performance. 9) Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) has positive influence on performance.Keywords: Organizational Commitment, Competency, Job Satisfaction, Organizational Citizenship Behavior, Performance

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of the quality of work life and PO Fit on the performance of employees with Organizational Commitment and OCB as mediators in Badan Pelaksana Penyuluhan Kabupaten Temanggung.The method used in sample collection in this study was sensus. Instrument tests used are validity and reliability test, with the criteria of KMO > 0.5, Loading Factor > 0.4 and Cronbach alpha > 0.7, while the model test used is Adj-R2 (coefficient of determination) and F-test (Goodness of Fit). Hypothesis test in this study is regression analysis using the t-test. Hypothesis testing is using t-value of frequency distribution at significance level (α) of 5%. While mediation test is using path analysis.Based on the results, the study can be summarized as follows: (1) QWL has positive influence on Organizational Commitment, (2) PO Fit has positive influence on Organizational Commitment, (3) QWL has positive influence on OCB, (4) PO Fit has positive influence on OCB, (5) Organizational Commitment has positive influence on OCB, (6) QWL has positive influence on performance, (7) PO Fit positively influencing performance, (8) Organizational Commitment has positive influence on performance, and (9) OCB has positive influence on performance. Abstract

This aims of this study is to examine the effect of job’s motivation, teacher’s competence and the leadership’s of Headmaster on teacher’s performance of Senior High School Teachers in Pati District. The Specific objective of this study is to examine the role of the Headmaster to moderates the influence of job’s motivation and teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance. The benefit of this study is to describe and extend previous study of the role of the Headmaster to moderate the influence of job’s motivation and teacher’s competence on teacher’s performance.This study used a sample of state junior high school teachers in Pati District. They are 90 teachers from 274 teachers. Sampling in this study is a nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling method, by taking data from teachers who meet the specific criteria of the overall population.Based on the results of the study can be summarized as follows: job’s motivation to work had no effect on teacher’s performance, teacher’s competence had a significant and positive effect on teacher;s performance, the principals leadership does not influence on the performance of teachers, the principals leadership does not moderate the effect of job’s motivation on teacher’s performance, the leadership of the headmaster strengthen the influences of teachers competence on teacher’s performance. Abstract

Purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of job characteristics , leadership styles on performance by mediating organizational commitment and job satisfaction ( a study at the Department of Agriculture , Agriculture and Forestry and the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Waterford County ) .Total sample number of 107 people . Primary data were obtained using a questionnaire developed from the indicator variable job characteristics , leadership styles on employee performance with the mediation of organizational commitment and job satisfaction . Top scores on the questionnaire using a Likert scale of 1 to 7 continuum . Methods of data using multiple regression analysis .Job Characteristics hypothesis testing results and did not have a significant negative impact on Organizational Commitment , Leadership Style has a positive and significant impact on Organizational Commitment , Job Characteristics and did not have a significant negative effect on Job Satisfaction , Leadership Style and Organizational Commitment has a positive and significant impact on satisfaction work, employment and Characteristics of Leadership Style has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance and Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Abstract

This study examines the question of how the influence of the effect of empowerment, motivation and organizational climate on employee performance with mediation organizational commitment in the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Plantation Temanggung Regency. The purpose of this stydy was to analyze a). Positively influence empowerment on organizational commitment, b). Positive influence motivation on organziational commitment, c). Positively influence organizational climate on organizational commitment, d). Positive influence employee empowerment on performance, e). positively influence employee motivation on performance, f). Positively influence organizational climate on employee performance, g). Influence of organizational commitment on employee performance. The study population was all employee who work at the Department of Agriculture and Forestry Plantation Temanggung Regency totaled 71 persons, using cencus techniques. Number of respondent surveyed was 71. Methods used in data collection questionnaire (questionnaire) given to the respondents. Test on instrument validity study conducted with factor analysis and Cronbach alpha reliability test, statistical test equipment being used is multiple regression analysis, t-test statistics to prove the hypothesis of the proposed research and trials to test the mediating effect of organizational commitment as a variable. Results of data analysis showed that the empowerment and motivation had no effect on organizational commitment, organizationa climate where as significant positive effect on organizational commitment. Empowerment does not affect on performance but employee motivation and organizational climate significant positive effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment not affect on employee performance. The study found no indication that the effect of empowerment, motivation and organizational climate to employee performance is mediated by organizational commitment variables.
