Timur Tengah menjadi destinasi keilmuan bagi para Ulama Nusantara sejak abad ke-16. Jaringan ulama Timur Tengah mempunyai andil besar dalam mengembangkan aneka ragam tradisi intelektual keislaman di Nusantara. Begitu juga yang terjadi di masyarakat Banjar. Dalam proses transmisi keilmuan, ulama Banjar banyak sekali terpengaruhi oleh pemikiran-pemikiran keislaman yang berasal dari sana, termasuk dalam pemikiran kalam, fikih, tasawuf, dan kajian hadis. Dalam artikel ini akan membuktikan sejauh mana pengaruh ulama Timur Tengah terhadap pengembangan tradisi intelektual ulama Banjar dalam kajian hadis. Metode penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah dengan cara membaca sumber-sumber primer, berupa naskah-naskah hadis karya ulama Banjar, kemudian silsilah sanad dan ijazah hadis mereka yang terhubung dengan ulama hadis di Timur Tengah. Pembacaan terhadap sanad dan ijazah tersebut akan membuktikan bahwa keilmuan hadis mereka terhubung kepada para ulama hadis yang otoritatif. Ulama Banjar yang masuk sebagai objek penelitian disini adalah ulama yang berasal dari suku Banjar, mempunyai naskah di bidang hadis, atau kajian hadis yang berbahasa Arab atau bahasa Arab Melayu. Dari standarisasi yang digunakan tersebut, ditemukan tujuh ulama yang masuk sebagai objek penelitian, Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari@, Muhammad Kasyful Anwar, Muhammad Anang Sya‘rani@ Arif, Abdul Wahid, Muhammad Syukeri Unus, Fahmi Zamzam, dan Muhammad Nurdin Marbu.

Kajian Ulum al-Qur’an dalam Pandangan Mufassir Nusantara Tgk. Hasbie Asshidiqie Agung Perdana Kusuma

In this paper, it contains the opinion of the mufassir nusantara in using the ulum al-Qur'an method applied to the commentary. Hasbie Ash-Siddiqie in his An-Nur commentary also uses the ulum al-Qur'an method. Not all the methods in ulum al-Qur'an are explained in this paper. Only a few examples of this method, the view of Hasbi Ash-Siddiqie applies in his commentary. The method used in this paper is a description-analysis that describes the problem associated with obtaining a comprehensive understanding. It starts with reading the life history of Hasbi Ash-Siddiqie. Then the background of the commentator in writing the commentary. After that, the speaker will analyze through ulum al-Qur'an from Hasbi Ash-Siddiqie. The data collection technique used in this research is literature study (Library Research). Then the data is analyzed qualitatively.

Ma’na-Cum-Maghza Sebagai Pendekatan Kontekstual dalam Perkembangan Wacana Hermeneutika Alquran di Indonesia Adi Fadilah

This paper seeks to uncover the theory of Ma'na-Cum-Maghza as the development of the Hermeneutic thought of the Quran introduced by Sahiron Syamsuddin and the methodology he used in developing the theory and how scholars debated the use of the term Hermeneutics in the study of the Quran in Indonesia. Through a descriptive analysis approach, I tried to present library data such as books and several scientific articles. This study concludes that there are differences of views between Muslim scholars in accepting the term Hermeneutics of the Quran, the theory offered by Syamsuddin does not came from the thought of Fazlur Rahman and Naṣr Ḥamīd Abū Zayd who put the text of the Quran as a product of historical culture, this theory explains that a reader must look for the initial meaning of the text (objective meaning) understood by the listener or the first recipient of the Quran, then sought for its significance in today's context.

Social changes faced by Muslims in the modern era have caused a number of serious problems relating to Islamic law. Islam aims to maintain basic human needs, namely: religion, body and soul, reason, honor (ancestry), and property. Among these five things, property is often a real problem inherent in human life. In Islam property is regulated through muamalah law and prohibits actions that can cause harm, such as theft, robbery, corruption, manipulation, smuggling, exploration of natural resources in an all-inclusive manner, including wasteful attitudes and consumerism. So that property has an important connection in social life. This is where al-Maraghi exegesis will explain the mal verses in the context of Indonesian society.

Ilmu Sharḥ al-Ḥadīth: Istilah dan Konsep Muhammad Anshori

This study aims to discuss the terms and methods in Sharḥ al-Ḥadīth. Literature study by referring books and relevant sources related to the theme used in this study. This research finds that the science of Sharḥ al-Ḥadīth has quite varied terms such as fiqh al-Ḥadīth, tafsīr al-Ḥadīth, garīb al-Ḥadīth, mukhtalif (ikhtilāf/mushkil) al-Hadis, ḥashiyah and ta'līq, which is each term has its own distinctions. In addition, the methods in the sharh Hadis is also various, such as taḥlīlī (analytical), ijmālī (global), muqāran (comparison/comparison), and mawdhū'ī (thematic).

This article discusses scientific interpretation of the Quran by ministry, done by of religious the researcher. This qualitative study discusses how the interpreters selected by the ministry interpret verses about the creation of human. This article finds that they interpret the verses of the Quran, using scientific sources and logic to explain them which are related to sains.

Islamic education as part of the national education system has a purpose want to achieve. In the process, Islamic education is inseparable from the problems faced. In the current postmodern era, Islamic education should be used as a forum the seedbed of tolerance to maintain harmony and peace. The Quran and Hadith as the main source of Islamic education must be reinterpreted and integrated with other approaches. One approach that can be integrated is with internalize socio-cultural values in learning. This approach offers a synthesis to deal with the seeds of intolerance that have begun to grow deep this nation's young generation. It is hoped that internalization of these values will be created social harmony that can be used as provisions by young Muslims in life sociable.

This paper discusses the historicity of the Quran in the view of John Wansbrough. By using the literature riview method, this study answers how Wansbrough views the historical aspects of the Quran. this study finds John Wansbrough addes another analytical consideration in understanding the history of the Quran. This is the application of the literary method which focuses on the analysis of the logic and the suitability of the use of language at the time of the revelation of the Quran.

This paper discusses the tawheed verses on the culture of keris maintenance in Java. The Javanese, considering the kris as a result of the process of creation, taste, intention, and work. Keris is a special weapon of the Javanese tribe and also as a weapon of ancestral relics to be preserved. Ancient keris function is as a weapon used to puncture at close range. The existence of kris, other than as a piercer weapon as well as a high value of artwork. So there is a change of perception in a keris is certainly there and become a separate phenomenon for the community. MT Arifin is a Javanese society of Islam from the Muhammadiyah group who believe the existence of a keris. He often saw his grandfather meram (bathing) the keris in suro month (Muharram), from where the beginning of his knowledge of the kris. MT Arifin is a Muslim from Muhammadiyah group who understands keris and expert in the science of pemberisan, besides he is also a political and military observer. Muhammadiyah is a group that strongly opposes the existence of tahayyul, bid'ah, and khurafat. The results showed that the keris is a typical weapon of the Javanese as evidenced by several temples on the island of Java. The temples on the island of Java some of them found an embossed image that describes the existence of a keris-shaped weapon. The function of the current keris is as a collection of objects that contain the meaning of pasemon (story). The benefits of a kris according to the Islamic view are as a means of protecting themselves from threats.

Makalah ini membahas fenomena radikalisme pemahaman keagamaan yang dimuat dalam media online. Dengan menggunakan metode observasi dan analisa isi, penulis mendiskusikan ayat-ayat jihad yang dimuat di media online sebagai ekpresi faham radikalisme agama. Studi ini menemukan bahwa terdapat penyalahgunaan ayat-ayat al-Qur’an dalam media online untuk mendapatkan simpatisan sebanyak mungkin dari para pengguna.
