Abstract

Starting in 2016, It is compulsory for every child in Indonesia to learn in kindergarten school  for 1 year according to the rules of UNESCO. This rule makes a lot of kindergartens providing alternative extra curricular such as Basic English extracurricular to attract parents to educate their children at the school. But unfortunately sometimes the school neglect the quality of school teachers who will teach the English extracurricular. It is make the writer provides an alternative solution for the kindergarten school to make an Basic English application. The created applications is the application of a basic level of English language by using the learning by playing method as an alternative learning. Method of learning by playing is a method of studying subjects for kindergarten children using the game. Therefore, application of Basic English is made using such methods. The benefits of the basic English application using the method of learning by playing are 1) to help teachers who teach basic English to minimize the errors in teaching, 2) to alleviate expenses to recruit new English teachers, and 3) to save the youth Muslim generation’sintelligence from an early age.

Abstract

It is the fact that technology has developed rapidly today. Such a development has influenced communication pattern among people, including communication in the field of education, particularly the process of instruction in a class between teacher and student. Audio visual aids began to be utilized to deliver educational messages. In this case, these audio visual aids were functioned  not merely as device aids in education but more than that they can function as an effecitve educational message deliverer. To support the success of teaching and learning process in a class, the utilization of audio visual aids need to be maximized. The utilization of instructional media, especially the ones based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is a must and need to be adopted by all teachers today if they wish to have effective and efficient instructions. This is valid for not only teachers who work in formal educational institution like a school, but also for teachers working in non-formal educational institution such as educational park of the Quran (TPQ).

Abstract

Joyful Learning as a learning process in which there is a strong cohesion between educators and learners, without any feelings of forced or depressed to make learners dare to do, dare to try, dare to ask, express opinions, and defend opinions so as not to fear wrong, ridiculed , underestimated and depressed. The purpose of this article is to illustrate the empowerment of madrasah English teachers with Joyful Learnig-Based Social Constructivism Pedagogy in the EFL Class. In implementing the concept of joyful based social constructivism pedagogy, the program is designed in four stages including socialization and training; class-class modeling; teacher engagement in classroom practice; and mentoring teachers to practice independently in the classes. In general, the English teachers in the two accompanying madrassas have been able to implement the concept of joyful based social constructivism pedagogy through a variety of methods and techniques that vary especially in brainstorming and ice breaking.Joyful Learning  sebagai suatu proses pembelajaran yang didalamnya terdapat sebuah kohesi yang kuat antara pendidik dan peserta didik, tanpa ada perasaan terpaksa atau tertekan sehingga membuat peserta didik berani berbuat, berani mencoba, berani bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat, dan mempertahankan pendapat  sehingga tidak takut salah, ditertawakan, diremehkan  dan  tertekan. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah menggambarkan pemberdayaan guru bahasa Inggris madrasah dengan Joyful Learnig-Based Social Constructivism Pedagogy dalam Kelas EFL. Dalam mengimplemetasikan konsep joyful based social constructivism pedagogy ini, program didesain dalam empat tahap yang meliputi sosialisasi dan pelatihan; pemberian modelling dikelas-kelas; pelibatan guru dalam praktik di kelas-kelas; dan pendampingan guru untuk praktik secara mandiri di kelas-kelas. Secara umum, para guru bahasa Inggris di dua madrasah yang didampingi sudah mampu mengimplemetasikan konsep joyful based social constructivism pedagogy melalui berbagai macam metode dan teknik yang bervariasi khususnya dalam brainstorming dan ice breaking.

Abstract

Waste management is still defined as limited to collection, transportation and garbage disposal. The follow-up of the meaning is the provision of facilities such as garbage bins, garbage trucks and waste collection land. Waste management has not included waste separation. Segregation of waste can minimize the amount of waste that must be discharged to the final place. Segregation of waste can supply recyclable raw materials and handicrafts made from garbage. The manufacture of handicraft products from garbage is still local and requires socialization and training. It is needed to increase the number of craftsmen and garbage absorption on the crafters. Through careful socialization and training, citizens' awareness of waste management becomes advanced by making handicrafts of economic value from waste materials.

Abstract

The seriousness of the school/madrasah in updating instructional media hampered by the incompetence of some teachers use ICT-based learning media as one way of presenting the material. Mastery and knowledge of information technology will facilitate the teacher in finding the source of learning, so that students will not get bored attend classes. ICT training has been able to change mindside teacher of the conventional learning becomes more interactive learning. Teachers are becoming more aware that the presence of technology is inevitable in the learning process. Rapid technological developments should be exploited so that teachers who emerges is a positive impact, and not vice versa. The use of technology can help the learning process becomes more effective and efficient, and fun.

Abstract

Community empowerment activity through Lecturer Dedication Program (KPD) utilization of yard for conservation and agribusiness this is the first step to stimulate the growth of spirit of self-help and community participation. KPD program is a step to build the foundation for a social change that led to empowering society (empowering society). Some changes that have been achieved through this KPD program are: 1) The occurrence of mental attitude changes and mindset (mindset) and entrepreneurial spirit on the subject of assistance, so that they are aware of the local potential around him that can be developed into a high value commodity. 2) The occurrence of changes and the creation of habituation of the working patterns of the targeted subjects which put forward the concept of hard and intelligent work, which in the end is expected to increase productivity. 3) The birth of assisted subjects who have a set of knowledge and skills (life skills) to develop local potentials into commodities of production with higher selling value. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program Karya Pengabdian Dosen (KPD) pemanfaatan pekarangan untuk konservasi dan agribisnis ini merupakan langkah awal untuk merangsang tumbuhnya semangat swadaya dan partisipasi masyarakat. Program KPD merupakan tahapan untuk membangun pondasi bagi sebuah perubahan sosial yang berujung pada pemberdayaan masyarakat (empowering society). Beberapa perubahan yang sudah dicapai melalui program KPD ini adalah: 1) Terjadinya perubahan sikap mental dan pola pikir (mindset) dan jiwa entrepreneur pada subyek dampingan, sehingga mereka sadar akan adanya potensi lokal di sekelilingnya yang bisa dikembangkan menjadi komuditas yang bernilai jual tinggi. 2) Terjadinya perubahan dan terciptanya habituasi pola kerja subyek dampingan yang mengedepankan konsep kerja keras dan cerdas, yang pada akhirnya diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produktifitas. 3) Lahirnya subyek dampingan yang memiliki seperangkat pengetahuan dan ketrampilan (life skill) untuk mengembangkan potensi lokal menjadi komoditas hasil produksi yang memiliki nilai jual lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Hygiene management is an issue that is very important for the sustainability of a healthy environment. However, people in general seem difficult to implement a clean and healthy life. The presence of plastic in conjunction with the development of manufacturing has resulted into a big problem for the environment. On the other hand,  Islam strongly encourages cleanliness and environmental management. Based on the above considerations by taking the focus of activities in Islamic boarding house, and to use “dialog warga”approach  with the ABCD method,  this program aims to change the behavior of students to be aware of the importance of hygiene, garbage sorting and understand the principle of using the principles of reuse, reduce and recycle. After the end of the program found that the process of habituation behavior of cleanliness must be preceded by changes in the knowledge system.

Abstract

The role of learning media, especially animation media, is very important in learning mathematics especially to explain abstract problem become concrete, motivate student, stimulate student learning activity, help effectiveness of learning process. Community service activities are aimed at making teachers able to create self-directed learning media. By making their own, the teacher can increase his insight and improve his creativity in creating animation media. In this training, teachers are trained to make animation media using powerpoint and flash. Subjects assisted in this devotional activity are math teachers in Semarang City. The math teachers showed great enthusiasm in training and felt the tangible benefits of community service. Teachers can create their own animated learning media, using either powerpoint or flash.

Abstract

The case of bullying often affects children, both at home and at school. Even in school kindergarten (TK) or at Early Childhood Education (ECD) also cases of bullying. Children's early childhood was the golden age in which cognition, emotion and physically is undergoing rapid development. It takes skill of teachers to recognize, identify and overcome. Teachers as a companion of children in school need training in child psychology, especially in dealing with cases of bullying in order to give a proper stimulant in shaping the personality of the child character. The success handler bullying include many factors that surround, the readiness of educators, environmental conditions protégé, to the learning environment that is used in educating.

Abstract

This paper intends to see the extent of legal awareness of the community in the village area of the santri against family law derived from national legal products. The results of the study show two main points, first, the understanding of Islamic civil law (marriage and inheritance) of Mangkang region society is dominated to the accepted understanding of classical fiqh. The people of Mangkang region are not anti-starch against the civil law of Islam issued by the state in the form of positive law. Although the Mangkang area people see that both are ijtihadiyah products, but the existence of Indonesian civil law that has an administrative effect on others makes them accept a good denan. Second, a persuasive approach in the form of a cultural approach is more readily accepted by citizens. Mangkang area people feel comfortable when invited to dialogue and discussion related to Islamic civil law of Indonesia. In the end, by reaching the common point and the good that might be obtained, Indonesian civil law can be understood and well accepted. Tulisan ini bermaksud melihat sejauh mana kesadaran hukum masyarakat di wilayah kampung santri terhadap hukum keluarga yang bersumber dari produk hukum nasional. Hasil dari kajian menunjukkan dua hal pokok, pertama, pemahaman hukum perdata Islam (penikahan dan kewarisan)  masyarakat wilayah Mangkang didominasi kepada pemahaman yang diterima fiqh klasik. Masyarakat wilayah Mangkang tidak anti pati terhadap hukum perdata Islam yang dikeluarkan negara dalam bentuk hukum positif. Meskipun masyarakat wilayah Mangkang melihat bahwa keduanya merupakan produk ijtihadiyah, namun keberadaan hukum perdata Islam Indonesia yang memiliki dampak administratif kepada yang lainnya menjadikan mereka bisa menerima denan baik. Kedua, pendekatan persuasif dalam bentuk pendekatan budaya lebih mudah diterima oleh warga masyarakat. Masyarakat wilayah Mangkang merasa nyaman ketika diajak berdialog dan berdiskusi terkait hukum perdata Islam Indonesia. Pada akhirnya, dengan mencapai titik temu dan kebaikan yang mungkin akan didapat, hukum perdata Islam Indonesia bisa dipahami dan diterima dengan baik..
