Abstract

Some teachers of Islamic Kindergarten (RA) in Salatiga and Semarang District realize that there is still little absorbed information related to the preparation of instructional media. Even so, not many of them have high motivation to take a reflective action such as implementing a Classroom Action Research. This service activity that in the form of training of creating educative props (APE) and training on preparing the design of PTK aims to facilitate the teachers to achieve pedagogical and professional competence as well as achieve quality learning. The results show that both the preparation of media and the design of PTK will be more focused if using a reference; in this case the base is six child development scopes as set forth in Permendikbud No. 137 of 2014 on National Education Standards of Early Childhood.

Abstract

Research work, devotion lecturers are embodied with mentoring activity, making audiobook and a mastery vocabulary English often used with Smart Repetition and Brain Wave technology. Making audiobook with Smart Repetition and Brain wave technology done together the participants capital. Making audiobook it is not easy that calls for exercise and patience participants capital .But through frequent exercise , finally they can make audiobook according to what they want. Assistance mastery vocabulary English often used with Smart Repetition and Brain Wave technology do with some stage.An early stage done by building community using application Telegram.The next stage is for the delivery of material, training, and the interaction continuously between researchers and participants cooperate either directly or online until the participants cooperate graduated from college.

Abstract

In everyday life, we can’t escape from eating meat, but sometimes we often question about the status of halalness, that is whether it meets the criteria of halal slaughter according syara' or not yet. The effort to realize the halal slaughter is to conduct Halal Slaughter Training marching at the Walisongo Research Center for students of Walisongo State Islamic University of Semarang.The halal slaughterhouses training activities are designed in the form of intensive and continuous training accompanied by expert of the Food and Cosmetics Review Institute (LP POM) of Central Java MUI, experts of the Livestock and Animal Health Service (DISNAKKESWAN) and Walisongo Halal Research Centre (WHRC).The results of this dedication in the implementation of the halal slaughterer training is that students are able to understand the halal slaughtering way (according to Syara’ and MUI Standard) and be able to practice a professional halal slaughterer, while the sustainability of this training is Student/graduate of Walisongo State Islamic University of Semarang as “Profesional Halal Slaughterer” in their regions. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari kita tidak bisa lepas dari mengonsumsi daging, namun terkadang kita sering mempertanyakan tentang status kehalalan tersebut yaitu apakah sudah memenuhi kriteria penyembelihan halal sesuai syara’ atau belum. Upaya untuk mewujudkan penyembelihan halal tersebut adalah dengan mengadakan Pelatihan Juru Sembelih Halal berbasis pada Walisongo Halal Research Center (WHRC) bagi mahasiswa UIN Walisongo Semarang. Kegiatan pelatihan juru sembelih halal tersebut didesain dalam bentuk pelatihan yang dilakukan secara intensif dan kontinu dengan didampingi oleh tenaga ahli Lembaga Pengkajian Pangan Obat-obatan dan Makanan (LPPOM) MUI Jawa Tengah, tenaga ahli Dinas Peternakan dan Kesehatan Hewan (DISNAKKESWAN) dan tenaga ahli Walisongo Halal Research Center (WHRC). Hasil kinerja pengabdian dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan juru sembelih halal yaitu Mahasiswa mampu memahami cara menyembelih yang halal (sesuai Syara’ dan Standar MUI) dan mampu mempraktekkan menjadi juru sembelih yang halal profesional, adapun keberlanjutan pelatihan ini adalah Mahasiswa/Alumni UIN Walisongo Semarang sebagai“JuruSembelih Halal yang Profesional” di daerah asalnya masing-masing.

Abstract

This paper describes the strengthening of communication network of Community Da'wah Institution (LDK) as a strategy to empower the potential of religious residents in Banyumanik. This potential empowerment is aimed at the emergence of citizens' religious awareness, through the shifting of communication networks that are taking place in Banyumanik. Subjects consisted of four LDKs and one foundation. The method of devotion uses the principle of Participatory Rural Apraisal (PRA) with the Feminist approach. The results of the mentoring activities indicate that there is still a problem of religious awareness among residents in Banyumanik. Indication of religious awareness problem besides value system, indicated by the absence of consistency of behavior. Efforts are made to reduce the problem of religious awareness

Abstract

English Language Learning in some schools had not been conducted maximally.  One of the influencing factors was the pedagogic and professional competence of the teachers which had not met the standard as mentioned in the Permendikbud No 16 Year 2007. Lesson Study and Classroom Action was expected to enhance pedagogic and professional competence to meet the process standard and the quality of English teaching learning process in general.  The achievement indicators of this program were: (1) arranging lesson plan based on the requirement of process standard, (2) understanding and implementing contextual learning, (3) creating varied learning activities based on text-based learning, (4) choosing and developing learning media appropriately, (5) developing and delivering learning materials, (6) Arranging instrument and conducting assessment and evaluation, (7) doing reflective teaching, (8) enhancing teaching preparedness, (9) planning a Classroom Action Research.

Abstract

Jono Temayang Bojonegoro Village is known as a cultural tourism village. On January 20-February 19, 2016, 21 students of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and a lecturer supervising the community in Jono Temayang Bojonegoro village in Real Work Participatory Action Research (KKN PAR). KKN PAR is implemented to optimize the empowerment of the community of cultural tourism village Jono Temayang Bojonegoro. Based on the results of mapping and transect, it is known that Jono village has tremendous potential to be developed from agriculture, animal husbandry, culture, religion and education. Among the problems faced by the Jono community are environmental, religious and educational issues. Based on the existing problems, then the action of the team accompanying the community is to establish a garbage bank, planting a toga plant, holding a "ngaji together", and private lessons. Desa Jono Temayang Bojonegoro dikenal sebagai desa wisata budaya.Pada 20 Januari-19 Februari 2016, 21 mahasiswa UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya dan satu dosen pembimbing melakukan pengabdian masyarakat di desa Jono Temayang Bojonegoro dalam kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata Participatory Action Research (KKN PAR). KKN PAR tersebut dilaksanakan untuk mengoptimalkan pemberdayaan masyarakat desa wisata budaya Jono Temayang Bojonegoro. Berdasarkan hasil mapping dan transect, diketahui bahwa desa Jono memiliki potensi yang luar biasa untuk dikembangkan, baik dari sector pertanian, peternakan, budaya, agama dan pendidikan. Diantara masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat Jono adalah masalah lingkungan, agama dan pendidikan. Berdasarkan masalah yang ada, maka maka action yang dilakukan tim pendamping bersama masyarakat adalah mendirikan bank sampah, menanam tanaman toga, mengadakan “ngaji bareng”, dan les privat.

Abstract

Assistance to the community is provided in order to provide education using fast, good and correct learning methods. In addition to literacy education of the Qur'an, coastal communities who work as fish seekers on average also need to be equipped with skills (life skill). Through education and training, coastal communities will have two advantages at once, first able to study the Qur'an quickly, rightly and correctly, and both gain knowledge about fish waste processing. Devotion is done also provide life skill education (life skills) such as processing pellets / feed from fish waste. Supply provided is not limited to the training course but also helps in the management of production permits and feasibility of processing the pellet, and find opportunities in marketing the processed products.

Abstract

This paper attempts to unravel efforts made a majlis taklim to transform into an amil zakat institutions. The role of zakat institutions will be more pronounced benefits than just being a majlis taklim. It is to embody the image of Indonesian Islam as a representation of Islam, especially in relation to Social-economic welfare, should be formed either amil zakat institutions. Which of course is not merely the responsibility of the large organizations, but also social institutions that are rooted down to the lowest level so that the impact is even really be felt by the community. One of them is the Majlis Taklim az-Zahra who had attempted to pioneer its existence not merely as a study group that only focuses on spirituality problems alone, but also perform a variety of social activities. Abstract

“Tempe” is a traditional food in Indonesia that interested almost of all world. Most of vegetarian who using “tempe” as food alternative of meat. Because many devotees of “tempe”. “Tempe” is a food that made of soybean seed fermentated by tempe’s ragi. Tempe is a source of the best protein also, to result the qualified tempe, need the good tempe also and can process making tempe well and true. Producing tempe is one of for the studnets, or santri of life skill Daarun Najaah to endeavor and exercise autonomous spirit. Remember tempe is a product that interested from a various cityzen. Subservience process are 3 steps : preparation step, implementation step, and evaluation step. Until the student university can market the product tempe to the society, can process product mattered nature of tempebecome, the kind of nutritious food and rightfull with has value of sale, and teach to the society ability of producing tempe. Tempe merupakan makanan tradisional Indonesia yang diminati hampir di seluruh dunia. Banyak kaum vegetarian yang menggunakan tempe sebagai makanan pengganti daging. Tempe adalah makanan yang terbuat dari biji kedelai yang difermentasi menggunakan ragi tempe. Tempe juga merupakan sumber protein yang sangat baik. Untuk menghasilkan tempe yang berkualitas dibutuhkan pula kedelai yang bagus (berkualitas) serta dapat mengelola proses pembuatan dengan baik dan benar. Produksi tempe menjadi salah satu trobosan bagi mahasiswa santri Pondok Pesantren Life Skill Daarun Najaah untuk berwirausaha dan melatih jiwa kemandirian mengingat tempe merupakan produk yang diminati dan digemari dari berbagai lapisan kalangan masyarakat. Proses pengabdian meliputi tiga tahap, yaitu: tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. Dengan adanya tahapan-tahapan tersebut program ini dapat berkelanjutan sehingga mahasiswa santri mampu memasarkan produk tempe kepada masyarakat, mampu mengolah produk berbahan dasar tempe menjadi berbagai makanan bergizi dan halal serta memiliki nilai jual, dan mengajarkan kemampuan produksi tempenya kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

In the modern era, there are still many young people who dropped out of school, including at boarding school. Economic factor that make them could not be a formal education. Nevertheless, schools remains committed to make a breakthrough in order to provide life skills for students who drop out of school. Life skill education program through the manufacture of woven fabrics organized in boarding school Miftahul Huda Pabelan Kab. Semarang is expected to provide knowledge as well as to equip the students to have the skills to live. This activity involves several parties such as Home Industry "Afiq", the Ministry of Religious Kab. Semarang and Central Java MUI through the division of the economic empowerment of the people. Through these activities, students are expected to be able to make woven and develop it themselves.
