Abstract

ABSTRAK                  Mempelajari matematika bagi beberapa siswa masih dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang dianggap sulit. Lebih-lebih kelas rendah, perlu meletakkan dasar yang benar dan jangan sampai salah langkah. Tujuan penelitian dilakukan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas I semester II pada mata pelajaran matematika,materi tentang berat benda melalui penerapan metode Demostrasi dengan alat peraga timbangan bambu. Penelitian yang dilakukan berupa penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan berdasarkan analisis hasil belajar siswa pada prasiklus yang belum mencapai KKM sebesar 70. Karena pada prasiklus hanya menggunakan metode caramah  dan tidak menggunakan peraga. Pembelajaran siklus I dan siklus II dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil refleksi pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebelumnya dengan menggunakan metode demonstrasi dengan alat peraga timbangan bambu. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh dari  tes formatif tiap tiap siklus dan dianalisa secara komparatif. Penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukan hasil yang sangat memuaskan terbukti dari hasil belajar prasiklus,siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM  sebanyak 9 anak atau 34,61 % , kemudian pada siklus I naik menjadi 16 anak atau 62 % dan pada siklus II mencapai 24 anak atau 92 %. Dari data tesebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa penerapan metote demonstrasi dan penggunaan peraga timbangan bambu dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kata kunci : Matematika, Metode Demonstrasi, dan Alat Peraga

Abstract

This research aims to obtain a valid, practical, and effective instructional design of circle material for grade VIII of SMP-TQ Muadz Bin Jabal Kendari. Instructional design has developed based on Isman model (2011). To develop a design, learning devices and instruments were developed. The prototype were validated and the test showed by the average of validity value. The practicality was shown by the average percentage of achievement from the observation of teacher activity. The analysis result of the effectiveness of the design is measured based on the average of achievement from the observation of student activity, the average of circle reasoning ability and the average of the percentage of achievement of student responses questionnaire. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that the instructional design of circle material with Isman model for grade VIII of SMP-TQ Muadz Bin Jabal Kendari were valid, practice, and effective.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mnegetahui adakah pengaruh yang signifikan anatar keaktifan dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar dalam implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD materi turunan fungsi kelas XI IS 2 SMA Negeri 15 Semarang. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini yang merupakan penelitian studi kasus pada populasi siswa kelas XI IS SMA Negeri 15 Semarang dengan sampel siswa kelas XI IS 2. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kekaktifan dan motivasi belajar, sedangan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar. Teknik pengambilan data pada kekatifan (X1) diperoleh dari lembar angket motivasi (X2) dan pada data hasil belajar (Y) diperoleh dengan cara tes. Untuk mendapatkan tujuan penelitian ini maka dilakukan uji regeresi linear ganda pada data yang diperoleh. Hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa persamaan regresi linear ganda  = 15,114 + 0,203 X1 + 0,551 X2 dengan Sig. = 1% < 5%, sehingga tolak  dan terima  artinya persamaan regresinya adalah linier. Selanjutnya besar pengaruh keaktifan dan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar dalam implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada materi turunan fungsi sebesar 72,5%.

Abstract

AbstractProses belajar mengajar dalam dunia pendidikan merupakan suatu sistem yang menumbuhkan kemauan seorang pengajar untuk melakukan pengelolaan pengajaran secara keseluruhan. Dalam proses belajar mengajar dosen menempati kedudukan sangat sentral, sebab peranannya sangat menentukan.  Dosen harus mampu menterjemahkan dan menjabarkan isi yang terdapat dalam kurikulum, kemudian mentransformasikan isi tersebut kepada mahasiswa melalui proses belajar mengajar. Lepas dari hal tersebut, peningkatan dan pengembangan mutu pendidikan selalu diharapkan. Oleh karena itu, cara peningkatan dan pengembangannya pun merupakan masalah bagi kita semua. Baik pemerintah, masyarakat, maupun masing-masing individu harus merasa berkewajiban menanggungnya.Dalam belajar, ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi besar sekali peranannya untuk memajukan suatu negara. Untuk menjadi negara yang maju, maka bangsa itu harus cerdik, pandai dan banyak pengetahuannya, baik ilmu pengetahuan sosial, ilmu pengetahuan alam, pengantar probabilitas dan ilmu pengetahuan lain yang sifatnya ketrampilan. Tanpa mengesampingkan pengetahuan yang lain, peranan pengantar probabilitas kiranya sangat penting dan perlu penanganan yang serius. Pengantar probabilitas merupakan disiplin ilmu yang mempunyai sifat khas dibandingkan dengan disiplin ilmu-ilmunya. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan belajar dan mengajarnya diperlukan suatu metode, mengingat mahasiswa yang berbeda-beda tingkat kemampuannya.Pengantar probabilitas timbul karena pikiran-pikiran manusia yang berhubungan dengan ide, proses dan penalaran. Pembelajaran pada materi tersebut masih menggunakan metode ekspositori. Di dalam penelitian ini, akan digunakan model Realistic Matematics Education (RME) dengan berbantuan e-learning. Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah pengantar probabilitas dengan model RME berbantuan e-learning.

Abstract

Learning Multimedia is a graphical software made through Camtasia Studio that has advantages in knowing the position (position) of an image from an algebraic equation or inequality, quadratic function, etc. The application of multimedia learning will be able to improve spatial quotient, which is spatial quotient is one of multiple intelligences that focuses more on the ability to analyze images or space and the subject matter Algebraic Structure is one of the material that prioritizes analyzing images or graphics. Based on the description above, in this study will use the Quantum Learning method based on Camtasia StudioThe purpose of this study is to produce learning devices as an implementation of the Camtasia Studio-based Quantum Learning method through research and development (Research and Development). The expected output of this study is a draft textbook Introduction to Algebraic Structure and Quantum Learning methods with Camtasia Studio.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research consisting of 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were all 4th grade students of SDN Dadapayam 01. Techniques for collecting data were formative tests and observation sheets. The results showed that using Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type with Media Realia can improve students mathematics learning outcomes. This can be seen when the pre-cycle students who completed the KKM were 6 students (40%), the first cycle increased which was around 9 students who met the KKM (60%) and in the second cycle there was a significant increase of 13 students (87%) students has reached KKM. So it can be concluded that the use of STAD model with Media Realia in Mathematics learning can improve learning outcomes. Teachers can use the STAD model on other glasses and students are expected to be more active and responsible for group discussion activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the process of creative thinking of students according to the theory of Wallas, and reviewed of the cognitive style of psychology. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The subject in this study amounted to 6 students from SMP Kristen 2 Salatiga, which consisted of 3 students with cognitive style Field Independent (FI), and 3 students with cognitive style Field Dependent (FD). The subject taking technique is a purposive sampling. Based on the results of analysis and discussion, the subject of FI can carry out all stages of the process of creative thinking according to Wallas's theory (preparation, incubation, illumination, verification) well, compared to the subject of FD.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the ability of mathematical literacy’s male and female students in Grade VIII. Based on the results of the interview, teacher accustomed to adopt problems of the textbook and national exams. Mathematical literacy was important to resolve the real problem in the form of the story matter. The research method used descriptive research. Data obtained from the mathematical literacy ability tests and interviews. The data was analyzed by observing the stages of how students in solving a problem were given. The results of the study were male students mathematical literacy ability was good enough in the settlement of the question of tests and reasonable when interviewed. Female students already have pretty good abilities in tests but were still lacking in reasoning and confident at interview sessions. Both of the students were men and women overall have been able to meet the competencies of mathematical literacy

Abstract

The purposes of this research is elaborating the capability of thinking critically FRISCO (Focus, Reason, Inference, Situation, Clarity and Overview) in solving problem based on Polya stage (Research is underdtanding the problems, Creating the plan, Implementing the plan and Reviewing), as reviewd by cognitive style of Field Dependent (FD) and Field Independent (FI). It is such a kind of qualitative descriptive and purposive technical sampling research used in this thesis, after some experiments the author found 1 particular subject in each style wether it from Field Dependent (FD) style of Field Independent (FI) style which was taken from Christian 2 junior high school Salatiga. Based on the research, FD subject incapable of implementing Polya stage, while FI subject capable of implementing Polya stage. Based on those four stages: FD is lack of capabillities compliying the criteria of FRISCO, while FI subject meets the requirements of FRISCO.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research. The research was conducted on November 5-24, 2018. The population in this study were class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Jelimpo in the 2018/2019 school year of Landak Regency, which consisted of class X MIA, X IIS A and X IIS B totaling 109 students. The sampling technique is Cluster Random Sampling. Data collection methods used tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with prerequisite test consisting of balance test, normality test and homogeneity test, followed by a hypothesis test consisting of two-way unequal cell anava test and further test. Based on the calculation results obtained: (1) the TAI method is better than the Pair Checks method of understanding concepts, (2) high learning interest has better understanding of concepts than moderate and low learning interest, and moderate learning interest is better than low interest in learning, ( 3) In each learning method high learning interest has better understanding of concepts than moderate and low learning interest, and moderate learning interest is better than low interest in learning, (4) At each level of learning interest students have high and moderate learning interest in the TAI method and the Pair Checks method has the same good concept, so for students who have a low interest in learning with the TAI method they have a better understanding of the concepts than students with the Pair Checks method.
