Abstract

This study aims to find out whether there is an increase in learning outcomes using integrated regional-based thematic models of residential areas compared to MoEC-based learning in 4th grade elementary school learning. The type of research used is real research (true experimental). The sample of this study was 4th grade students of SDN Pasekan 03 as an experimental group. The data analysis technique used the average difference test (t test). The normality of the experimental group was 0.449> 0.05 and the control group was 0.434.> 0.05, the two groups were normally distributed. The homogeneity of the experimental group and the control group was 0.855> 0.05, so the two groups were homogeneous. The results showed t count 1604 with a significance of 0.0115 <0.05, so Ha accepted means that the learning outcomes using area-based housing around higher than the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Abstract

The curriculum and technology development hand in hand very rapidly, so it takes a concept and mechanism of ICT-based teaching and learning. The transformation process of conventional education into digital form, both in its content and its system. The progress of this technology should be utilized by the students as a provision in the classroom learning. Students are required to innovate and apply ICT in learning. Based on these things required a design and supplement learning materials so students can carry out in accordance with the demands. The one of innovation form is android-based learning media on n statistical education subject. The stages of this android system using pretest, practice working on the matter, as well as a posttest. In addition, the whole tutorial material such as SAT, RAT, concept maps and materials could be obtained by students through media-based android. The purpose of this research is to 1). know the process of developing android-based learning media is valid, 2). know the response of the students towards the implementation of the android-based learning media. The subject of this research was students of UT-UPBJJ Semarang pokjar Kendal. The development of the design and supplement learning materials used the 4-D model of Thiagarajan, Semmel Semmel and IE (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The method of data collection used interviews, observation, and question form. Based on the stages of the learning media development can be concluded 1). the android-based learning media development on educational statistics subject. The validity got 4.22 and included within the category of very valid. 2).The students ‘responses on the media-based learning android on education statistics subject had good responses. The students’ responses categories were very good 3.40.

Abstract

Education of the generation of the nation, especially the younger generation, is one of the things that must be considered in order to improve and develop the Indonesian nation. All parties related to the achievement of educational success must cooperate. Starting from the school, parents, government, or the community. One of the successes of education can be seen from learning achievement. In terms of learning, discipline is one of the factors that must be considered. Based on observations made by researchers at Semarang State High School 15, there are still many students who still violate school rules. Therefore, researchers want to know the effect of discipline on student learning outcomes. The research sample was 60 students from 252 students of class X-IPA. The method of data collection is done by using questionnaires and observations. The results of this study indicate that student discipline on student achievement is very influential and it can be seen that the average student discipline is 3.1 which includes the Very Good (SB) category. The Very Good categorized average is directly proportional to student achievement results with an average of 82.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a problem-based mathematical module in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research with the method used is ADDIE. The subject of this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Ngabang, Landak District. The instruments used were validation sheets, observation sheets and student learning outcomes tests. The result indicates that a problem-based mathematical module has been developed in the material system of two-variable linear equations of class VIII SMP students that are valid, practical and effective. Based on the results of the validity test, it can be stated that the problem-based mathematical module produced is valid with a validity value of 79.11. The implementation observation results show that the problem-based mathematics module is in the practical category with a practical value of 82.18. Then the results of student learning tests showed that the average value of the learning outcomes test was 83.00 and the effectiveness of the problem-based mathematics module was 87.50% and included in the effective category. When viewed from the results of the tests performed, the development of problem-based mathematical modules in the subject matter of the two-variable linear equation system has been successfully developed and is suitable for use in Ngabang 1 State Middle School.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of Addition and Reduction of Fractions in class IV are partly due to: (1) a tedious learning process, (2) lack of use of ICT as a source and media of learning. To overcome this problem the research team developed student-centered learning through e-learning learning in the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) model. This study is a true experiment using the Pre-Test Group Control Post Test Design. The population is Sambiroto 02 elementary school students as many as 75 students in the 2017/2018 school year. The E2 group with EAD learning using the STAD model reached the highest mean value of the three groups, amounting to 88.67, followed by the E1 group with STAD learning at 74.54 and the K group with expository learning at 63.10. Regression analysis showed a positive relationship between motivation and activity with learning outcomes in groups E1 and E2 so it can be concluded that the higher the student's motivation and activity score the higher the student's learning achievement in addition and subtraction operations in elementary schools.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics in fifth grade students of Cebongan 03 Elementary School through the three-dimensional model of Discovery Learning. This research was conducted in two cycles through the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection is done using observation sheets for the learning process and test questions for learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out with comparative descriptive analysis, namely comparing student learning outcomes in the pre cycle, cycle I and cycle II. From this study the following results were obtained; in the pre-cycle of 21 students only 6 students (28.57%) were completed and 15 students (71.43%) did not complete with an average grade of 51.71. Furthermore, in the first cycle, after taking action by applying the Discovery Learning learning model, a number of 9 students (42.85%) were declared complete and 12 students (57.15%) were not completed with a class average of 63.80. Then in the second cycle results were obtained that a number of 19 students (90.5%) were declared complete and 2 students (9.5%) were not completed with a class average of 85.95. This shows that the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by the media is able to improve student Mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' thinking in solving mathematical problems and to find out the results of the application of Brunerd's theory in solving the problem of building a Limas room in junior high school students.Retrieval Techniques The subjects in this study were seen from the results of tests with high, medium, low categories. High categories were seen from the test results if the answers to the tests were all correct, the categories were seen from the test results if the answers to the tests still had errors, while the categories were low seen from the test results if the answer to the test is still wrong. This technique is used because researchers have a specific purpose for several considerations, namely to find out whether the application of bruner theory can be applied in mathematics subjects, considering that mathematics is considered a difficult subject for students. The subjects of this study were 6 students. Data collection techniques in this study used test, interview and documentation methods while the data validity techniques in this study used triangulation techniques which included 3 elements, namely sources, methods, theories. In this study researchers used data analysis techniques with 3 components, namely: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing.The results showed that subjects with a high category tended to have high-thinking profiles, they had no difficulty in doing tests and interviews. The subjects with the medium category were more likely to have thinking profiles, while they had a little difficulty in doing tests and interviews, while the subjects with the lower category were more likely to have low-thinking profiles, they had difficulty doing tests and interviews. This is what causes a difference between them. Based on the discussion, it can be concluded that junior high school students in their profile think in solving problems in the building of a limiter junior high school students are able to describe the building of Limas space means that SMP students are able to understand pyramid material shown to the sensitivity of students in learning to build Limas space so that junior high school students in their imagination are able to mention 1 example of a pyramid building and all junior high school students are able to mention the types of Limas indicated by the independence of junior high school students who are able to mention various types of building> 1 in terms of bases, and junior high students are able to say> 1 element the building elements of the Limas space means that junior high school students are able to understand the pyramid material shown to the sensitivity of junior high school students to be able to mention the Limas parts properly and correctly.

Abstract

Purpose this research is determine the effectiveness of using GQGA methods to students’ mathematics connection ability on vocational school. Methods in this research use quantitative methods. The sample selection by purposive sampling and the result is X class major in TKR. Result of this research is GQGA effective to students’ mathematics connection ability. This can be seen from the result of the students’ mathematics connection ability exceed KKM. Then using SPSS, significant of one sample t test smaller than alpha (0,05), and the result of the comparison of t observations with t table show that t observations greather than t table. Therefore, the GQGA method can be used in learning in Vocational Schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts through the use of Ms Math 4.0 software in the learning process. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. There are two sample groups in this study: the experimental group which was carried out using Ms Math 4.0 and the control group with conventional learning. The method used is quasi-experimental using the Mann Whitney U test for data analysis. From the analysis results obtained: 1) Understanding the concept of students who learn by using Ms Math 4.0 software is higher than those who do not use software; 2) Understanding the concept of students with high, medium and low initial ability who learn by using Ms Math 4.0 software is higher than students who study with conventional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to integrate local wisdom in the Indonesia-Timor Leste border area which was realized through the development of Ethnomatematics Student worksheet (LKM) based on the community's cultural in the border area. The method used in this research is development research with formative type which is consisting of preliminary analysis and formative evaluation. Data collection techniques include documentation; walk through, tests, observations, and interviews. While the data analysis technique used is the data analysis of qualitative descriptive. Results of the research that the student worksheets of ethnomatematics using the context of woven fabric motif of Kefamenanu community who have been developed meet criteria valid, practical and effective to improve the learning achievement of ethnomatematics.
