This study aims to determine the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Learning Model on the Social Science Problem Solving Ability of Elementary School Students. The method used in this research is the method of Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group-Pretest-Posttest Design research design. This study's findings indicate that the average post-test is higher than the pretest average of students' social studies problem-solving abilities with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The average pretest value is 58.10, while the post-test average value is 75.40. Calculation of the hypothesis using the t-test, namely the paired sample T-test, and obtained at a significant level of 0.05 indicates that the probability value (significance) is 0.000. Because the significance of 0.000 <α = 0.05, Ho is rejected. This proves that there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on solving elementary school students' social studies problems.

This study aimed to determine the effect of Word Square learning model on the social science learning outcomes of the fourth grade students at SDN Gugus II Kecamatan Lingsar in the academic year 2020/2021. The type of this study was experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design with a type of quasi experiment. The population in the study was students at grade IV SD Gugus II, Kecamatan Lingsar, totaling 108 students, while the samples were grade IV SD Gugus II Kecamatan Lingsar District, totaling 85 students. Data in this study were collected through documentation and questionnaires, while the instruments were social studies learning outcomes documents and Word Square model questionnaires. Then, the data were analyzed by the normality test, linearity test, and simple regression test in order to determine the effect of Word Square model on learning outcomes. The results of normality and linearity test obtained that the data were normally distributed and had a linear relationship. After going through the prerequisite test, a simple regression test was carried out obtaining the sig value. of 0.000 <0.05 or using a comparison of the value of tcount (3.974) > ttable (1.988). This means that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Thus, Word Square learning model significantly influenced the social science learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN Gugus II, Kecamatan Lingsar in the academic year 2020/2021."

This research aimed to determine the steps for the development and feasibility of bilingual Pop-up Book learning media for fairy tale material. The research method was Research and Development (R&D) method, referring to Borg and Gall model adapted by Sugiyono. This model consisted of 10 stages (1) potentials and problems (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) small group product trials (7) design revision (8) testing large group products (9) final stage product revision (10) mass production. However, in this study it was only limited to 6 stages. Expert validation was carried out by material experts, linguists, and media experts. The subjects of this research were grade III students at SDN Unyur, totaling 10 students for limited product trials. The results showed that the percentage of material expert validation was 79% with feasible category; the linguist validation score was 79% with feasible category; the media expert validation score was 89% with very feasible category; and the assessment score in limited trialswas 82% with very good category. Based on the research results, it was concluded that bilingual pop-up book media was suitable for learning to read fairy tales.

The Covid 19 pandemic caused the need for an adaptation in all areas including in the field of education. The online learning was the way to adapt with the pandemic. Many institutions increased their human resources through training for the preparation of online learning tools. The result was that the teachers were able to make HOTS-based interactive quizzes oriented on local wisdom at Kab. Tulungagung through the quizizz application and its implementation. The goal was that interactive quizzes through the quizizz application could be applied and provided benefits to online learning. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of HOTS-based interactive quizzes oriented on local wisdom at Kab. Tulungagung. The scope of this research included question making, interactive quiz implementation, and evaluation. The study involved 25 students at grade V SDN Mojosari 1 consiting of 11 male and 14 female students. The process of making evaluation questions started from making the question lattice then converted into multiple choice questions by paying attention to HOTS based on local wisdom at Kab. Tulungagung. The implementation of the interactive quiz resulted in the effectiveness of the interactive quiz by 88%. The result of evaluation of HOTS interactive quiz implementation based on local wisdom at Kab. Tulungagung found that 1) interactive quizzes through the quizizz application were needed as an online learning assessment instrument; 2) the use of interactive quizzes eased the teachers to provide assessments without having to make manual corrections as well as being able to analyze the questions made; 3) it fostered competition between students.

Research objectives include; (1) analyze the needs of lecturers and students related to learning media, (2) produce learning media that is worth using in learning, and (3) know the effectiveness of interactive learning media basic concepts of IPS in higher education. This research is a development research by doing 7 stages. These stages are the stage of analysis of potential problems, information collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product creation and limited product trials. Research instruments are given to lecturers and students during the learning of basic concepts of IPS. Techniques in data collection used include interviews, documentation, observations, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis techniques through media needs data analysis, validation test and product effectiveness test. The results showed that (1) Analysis of the needs of the basic concept learning media of IPS in universities is demonstrated by the results of materials and presentations delivered in full. (2) The development of interactive learning media in the basic concept course of IPS is feasible for students and lecturers in learning in higher education. (3) The maturity of interactive learning media is effective in IPS learning. This is seen from the results of his study showing that 0.001.

This research aimed at investigating the difference in science learning achievement between students studying through problem-based learning and those studying through conventional learning. 10 grade IV elementary school students were selected as research samples and they were divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. Those groups had been equalized by conducting Product moment analysis. This study utilized a post-test-only control group design. Learning achievement data were collected by using a multiple-choice test method. The test validity was examined by using Point Biserial while the test reliability was examined by using KR-20. Before testing the hypothesis, the data were processed with prerequisite test namely Normality Test (with a significance = 0.2), Variant Homogeneity Test (with a significance of 0.158), Box'M Test (with a significance = 0.146), and the Correlation Test between Dependent Variables / Multicollinearity (Tolerance and VIF =1). Then, the hypotheses were tested by using MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance). The research finding showed that: there was a significant difference in science learning achievement between students studying through problem-based learning and those studying through conventional learning (F=5.574 and sig.=0.046; p<0.05).

This study aims to analyze WhatsApp group-based learning on the achievement and learning difficulties of elementary school students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The population of this study was elementary schools in Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency. Through purposive sampling technique from several informants. Informants consisted of teachers, parents of students, and students. Data collection in this study was carried out by: (1) interviews; (2) observation; and (3) documentation. Data collected through interviews, observation, and documentation were then analyzed using inductive descriptive techniques. Data analysis was carried out by data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the study an average of the three respondents agreed with WhatsApp-based learning as much as 28.5% and those who disagreed were 71.48%. These results indicate that WA-based learning is not a problem carried out in elementary schools, but in its application, there are obstacles experienced by teachers, parents, and students, including the lack of facilities owned, and students are bored with the learning process.

The study aimed to develop a descriptive essay writing guidebook. The method of this study was R&D (Research and Development) with the research design of Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono. The result of this study was a descriptive essay writing guide book based on go to your post. Based on the result of the feasibility test by the media experts, the book was feasible with an average value of 79%. Then, the results of validation by material experts obtained that the product was very feasible with an average value of 87.31%. Moreover, the results of the validation by linguists found that the guide book was appropriate with an average value of 76%. Finally, the results of students’ response questionnaire on the limited trial obtained an average value of 92% with Very Good criteria. Based on these results, the final product of the guide book for writing descriptive essay based on go to your post was declared suitabel to be used in the learning activities for grade 5 elementary school students.

This research aimed to develop a cultural encyclopedia book based on the local wisdom of Banten on social scence subject at the 4th grade elementary school. This research was conducted at grade IV SD Negeri Rawu. This research used research and development methods (RnD). The product of this research was a cultural encyclopedia book containing materials about historical heritage in the local environment for social science subject at grade 4. The feasibility of this product was validated by some experts including media experts, material expert, linguists, and education experts. This research subjects were 20 grade IV students at SD Negeri Rawu. The results showed that the average validation score of the encyclopedia was 90.57%, so that it was categorized as“very feasible”. Then, the result of product trials (limited trials) obtained that the average value of the product was 99.05% with a “very good” criteria, so it can be concluded that the cultural encyclopedia book based on the local wisdom of Banten was feasible to be used as learning materials for social science subject at grade IV elementary school.

This research aimed to find out that the implementation of Jigsaw-type cooperative learning to improve students’ thematic learning outcomes at grade V SD Negeri 003 Rambah. This research was classroom action research. The technique of data analysis was conducted by collecting several instruments such as students’ and researchers’ activity sheets and question sheets. The results of this study showed that at the first meeting in cycle I, 20 students (64.51%) reached KKM with the class average score of 72.25. Then, at the second meeting in cycle I, 21 students (67.41%) reached KKM with a class average score of 74.83. Moreover, at the first meeting in cycle II, it was found that 26 of 31 students (83.87%) reached the KKM with an increased in the average score to 84.03. Then, at the second meeting, the students’ learning outcomes obtained a very satisfied result, in which 28 of 31 students (90.32%) reached KKM with an average score of 86.12. The conclusion of this study was that implementing Jigsaw-type cooperative model in learning thematic improved the students’ learning outcomes at the fifth grade SD Negeri 003 Rambah.
