Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of Youth Organization in fostering social awareness of youth, any form of social care carried out by Karang Taruna of Perumahan and supporting factors and inhibitors of Bukit Permai Youth Organization in fostering youth social awareness. Theory uses Social Concern theory According to Crandall in Addision E. Gradel (2009: 35) includes motivation, understanding, empathy and contribution. The research method uses qualitative descriptive. Research informants from the Bukit Permai Housing Youth Organization and Pimpina in the Bukit Permai Housing Community Area. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and member check techniques. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results of the study regarding the role of youth organizations in fostering social awareness include (1) Karang Taruna members providing motivation to youth by inviting them to contribute to social activities for their development and the environment, (2) asking for proposals for ideas and ideas from non youth members, ( 3) providing an understanding of the implementation of social activities needed so that the community environment is conducive, (4) inviting youth to be involved in youth activities, especially planning social activities. Forms of social activities such as community service cleaning sanitation channels, cleaning public facilities, installing street lighting in each block, conducting fogging, donating activities to the poor and disaster, making hydroponic parks in collaboration with RTs, focus group discussions, youth discussion activities internal routine.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai implementasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air dalam kegiatan pembelajaran berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 khususnya pada perencanaan pembelajaran yang bermuatan penguatan karakter cinta tanah air, proses pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air melalui kegiatan pembelajaran, serta perilaku peserta didik setelah diterapkannya pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas 1. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan model analisis data Miles dan Huberman ialah proses pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perencanaan pembelajaran yang bermuatan penguatan karakter cinta tanah air yang dapat memaksimalkan kegiatan pembelajaran melalui program penguatan pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air dan teknis guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, dalam proses pelaksanaan implementasi pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran berdasarkan kurikulum 2013. Serta dengan persiapan yang matang dalam proses pembelajaran dan bimbingan dapat diketahui perilaku peserta didik setelah diterapkannya pendidikan karakter cinta tanah air melalui kegiatan pembelajaran baik dari aspek afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor. Kata Kunci : Implementasi Karakter Cinta Tanah Air, Kegiatan Pembelajaran Kurikulum 2013.

Abstract

Location of Sukalaba village located in the hilly area and far away which causing to lack of attention and monitoring by the regional government. The main problem of Sukalabans is disease threat because they are lack of knowledge and awareness in implementing health protocols and the garbage is not managed causing lots of flies around the settlement as a result of the large number of chicken farms. Focus of these service activities are public health and environment aspect. These activities aimed to change community behavior which led to a clean and healthy lifestyle (PHBS) to prevent disease transmission including covid-19, increase community hygiene and environmental health. The applied approach is communication approach with Extended Parallel Process model which focused to components of message, perception, and self-efficacy. The results of community activities covered educational communication of preventing of Covid-19 transmission, integrated waste management planning, and door-to-door counseling about use of fly poison. Other supporting activities are healthy exercise regularly, community service to mosque cleanliness, and planting 1000 trees.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the program of religious habituation activities carried out at SDN Serang 11 online, how teachers carry out religious habituation activities for the moral formation of students during the Covid-19 pandemic through online learning, and the results of the program of religious habituation on the formation of moral participants. students. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the process of forming moral values in students through online religious habituation activities has not been implemented optimally by teachers. So it can be concluded that the implementation of religious activities towards the formation of moral values of students that are carried out online at SDN Serang 11 is in the unfavorable category in the implementation process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang menggunakan dua bahasa (billingual)  yakni bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris sebagai upaya menghadapi tantangan revolusi industri 4.0 yang dilaksanakan di SDIT Widya Cendekia Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriftif, untuk memperoleh data peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Yang menjadi subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wali kelas serta peserta didik SDIT  Widya Cendekia kota Serang. Perencanaan pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada kelas billingual mengacu kepada kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum sekolah sedangkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran billingual menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan pendekatan saintifik, hal ini bertujuan agar peserta didik mempunyai keterampilan 4C (Critikal Thingking, Communication, Colaboration dan Creativity and Inovation) sebagai upaya mengahadapi tantangan revolusi industri 4.0.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media pembelajaran berupa audio visual sebagai alat penunjang belajar peserta didik terutama pada pembelajaran tematik serta tanggapan peserta didik terhadap media yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu  Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D (Four-D) yang terdiri atas define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelayakan dari media audio visual berdasarkan penilaian guru, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Skor yang diperoleh masing-masing sebesar 87.5% penilaian guru, ahli media memperoleh skor rata-rata skor 92.3% dan ahli materi rata-rata sebesar 79.2%. Kemudian tanggapan peserta didik terhadap media yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mencapai skor rata-rata sebesar 96.9%. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menghasilkan produk media audio visual berupa video pembelajaran dengan bantuan Google Drive pada pembelajaran tematik kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Hasil validasi guru dan ahli media mencapai kategori “Sangat Layak”, sedangkan ahli materi termasuk dalam kategori “Layak”. Penilaian tanggapan peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Sehingga produk dikatakan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study was to describe the teacher's role in instilling disciplined character in grade IV students at SDN Ciomas 1 Kabupaten Serang. The method in this research was the descriptive qualitative method, a series of activities to obtain data as they were without being under certain conditions, the results of which emphasized meaning. The population or the social situation consisted of three elements, namely places, actors, and activities that interacted in synergy. The data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that the teacher's role at SDN Ciomas 1 Kabupaten Serang in instilling the students' discipline at grade IV was good. Students who committed disciplinary violations were relatively small since the teacher gave punishments to those students. The factors that caused undisciplined participants came from the students themselves, their peers both in the school environment and those outside the school, and influences from parents and teachers as a result of the lack of classroom mastery and good teaching methods. Thus, it was concluded that the teacher's role was very important in instilling the students' discipline, for example, by providing a good example to his students. When students violated the rules or were not disciplined, the teacher gave educative punishments.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a comic as a learning media for grade IV students of elementary school. This research was conducted at SDN Cibomo in the academic year of 2020-2021. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D). The product of this research was a learning media containing the materials about understanding the relationship of symbols with the meaning of moral principles of Pancasila on Civics subject at grade IV of elementary school. The media was a comic printed with the size of A5. Expert validation was used to see the product validity. The validation was carried out by the media experts, material experts, and education experts. The subjects of this research were all grade IV students of SDN Cibomo Serang which were 20 students. Based on the data, the average validation score of the comic media was 94.1% with very feasible category. Then, the average score of students’ response was 94.4% with very feasible. Furthermore, the score from the educators’ responses was 94% which was included in very feasible category. In conclusion, the comic learning media on Civics subject about understanding the relationship of symbols with the meaning of the moral principles of Pancasila was feasible and it could be applied as the teaching materials at grade IV of elementary school.

Abstract

Indonesia and other countries in the world are being hit by a very extraordinary health crisis that is Covid-19. Covid-19 also has an impact on the implementation of learning in universities, implementation of lectures using the online method. Citizenship Education courses that teach about norm values are a bit difficult to implement online because they cannot directly observe student attitudes which are reflected in the course content. Inculcating social attitudes in learning during this pandemic is very important. Because it is expected that students have social awareness of the current situation. The importance of social attitudes in learning so that students have social skills so that they are able to establish good cooperation to achieve the learning object of citizenship education. Social Skill and social attitudes are one of the indicators in realizing the smart and good citizen goal of Civic education. Having a social attitude makes students more sensitive to problems that occur in the surrounding environment and can participate in finding solutions to problems that exist in the community. The purpose of this study was to find out how to instill Social Attitudes through Citizenship Education Learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic Era as an Effort in Formation of Student Social skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection observations, documentation and interviews. The results of the study show that the practice of social skills through Civic Education learning in this Pandemic era is carried out by habituation. Social attitudes that are instilled are honesty, discipline, responsibility, polite, caring, and confident. Habituation carried out in the learning process can take place through demonstrations and agreements made between students and lecturers together in the classroom. Inculcating social skills in learning is greatly assisted by online learning platforms such as LMS and social media. Researchers’ recommendation is that further research can develop the acquisition of other skills in Citizenship Education learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials based on appropriate Handout for IPS learning on the materials of Work Types and the Importance of Morale in Class III State Elementary School Ciwaktu. This research is a type of research development (research and development) which refers to the development of Brog and Gall that has been modified by Sugiyono. This research was conducted in Ciwaktu State Elementary School from July to August 2018. The research was conducted by steps: Problem analysis, Data collection, Product design, Expert Test Validity, Product Revision and Limited Trial. The developed product is tested its feasibility by validation by design experts, IPS (social sciences) study experts and test of educational experts before being tested is limited. Subjects were 10 students while the trial was limited. Instruments used to collect data are questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the validation of the design experts obtained the average score included in the category is feasible. The validation results of IPS study experts obtained an average score that falls into the very feasible category. Limited trial results obtained scores that fall into the very feasible category. Based on the results of these experiments, the Handout-based teaching materials are feasible for use in the IPS lesson on the types of work and the importance of work morale
