Abstract

The background of this study is the low listening skills of third-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru. This researchis a classroom action research, which is carried out by applying storytelling strategies. The results of the study stated that thelistening skills of students had increased in cycle 1 meeting 1 number of students who scored between 80-100 totaling 12students, on the internal score 60-79 totaled 3 students, at an interval of 40-59 amounted to 4 students, at intervals of 20 -39numbered 2 students and in the interval 0-29 there were 0 students. Whereas in cycle 1 meeting 2, the number of students whoobtained grades between 80-100 totaled 13 students, in the internal score 60-79 totaled 10 students, at intervals of 40-59amounted to 0 students, at intervals of 20-39 amounted to 0 students and at interval 0-29 contains 0 students. In cycle 2 meeting1 listening skills increased the number of students who got grades between 80-100 totaling 15 students, in the internal score 60-79 totaled 8 students, at intervals of 40-59 amounted to 0 students, at intervals of 20-39 amounted to 0 students and in theinterval 0-29 there are 0 students. Whereas in the second cycle of meeting 2 the number of students who got a score between 80-100 totaled 19 students, in the internal score 60-79 totaled 4 students, at intervals of 40-59 amounted to 0 students, at intervalsof 20-39 amounted to 0 students and at intervals 0-29 consists of 0 students. Based on these values, it can be concluded that thestorytelling strategy can improve the listening skills of third-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 6 Pekanbaru

Abstract

Interactive Learning Media (ILM) has been developed to represent base of number concept turn into more interactive andmeaningful learning. The first design of ILM is multimedia supported computer that explore number concept in existingconceptual. Pre-service elementary teachers should be provided with the learning that can optimize the number conceptions. Tocollect and analyse data comprehensively, researchers developed a 4D developing method which has comprehensive stages:define, design, develop, and desseminate. The 4D developing stage has been utilized to describe ILM comprehensively. Based ondata analysis, it can be concluded that ILM could effectively improve pre-service teachers‟ conceptual understanding and couldfacilitate self-study of pre-service elementary teachers about number concept.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low learning outcomes of students in natural science learning at elemantaryschool 58 Balai Makam, Mandau District. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning process and improve thelearning outcomes of science in the fourth grade students of elementary school 58 Balai Makam through the application ofdemonstration methods. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students totaling 26 people. This study consisted of twocycles. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 67.42 with 16 students who were completed and 10 studentswho were not completed, while in cycle II obtained an average of 75.80 with 22 students who were complete and 4 students whohad not complete. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that through thedemonstration method it has been proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of students in grade IV elementary school58 Balai Makam.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low activity and learning outcomes of Civics students in grade 1 012 SD Negeri 012Pangkalan Baru, for this reason, improvements are made to learning through classroom action research using example nonexample learning models. The purpose of this study is to increase Civic Education activities and learning. This research is aclassroom action research conducted at SD Negeri 012 Pangkalan Baru. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students with 23students. This study was carried out in two cycles, which were carried out in four stages: planning, implementation, observation,and reflection. The results of the study showed that students' learning activities had increased, in cycle 1 meeting 1 in the verygood category got 28.99%, in the good category was 29.13%, in the sufficient category was 31.88%, and in the poor categorywas 10 00%. At meeting 2 in the very good category was 46.38%, in the good category was 31.88%, in the sufficient categorywas 21.74%, and in the less category was 5.00%. In cycle 2 meeting 1 activity in the very good category was 53.62%, in the goodcategory was 33.33%, in the sufficient category was 13.04%, and in the poor category was 4.60%. At meeting 2 in the very goodcategory was 73.91%, in the good category was 18.84%, in the sufficient category was 7.25%, and in the less category was0.00%. In addition, student learning outcomes have increased, in cycle 1 meeting 1 the number of students who completed was18 students (78.26%), at the second meeting reached 21 students (91.30%). In cycle 2 meeting 1 reached 19 (82.61%), and at themeeting of 2 to 20 students (86.96%).

Abstract

This study aims to improve PKn learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru with the application ofSTAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a classroom action research conducted in SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru, thesubject of this research is the fourth grade students with a total of 40 students. The results showed that the students' learningoutcomes on the baseline score an average score of 48.61 increased by 16.95 points to 65.56 in cycle I. In the second cycle theaverage value of 71.67 increased from the first cycle of 6.11 points . Classical completeness in the basic score of 33% (18students). In the cycle I test, the completeness increased to 72.5% (27 students). In cycle II, classical completeness completes to87.5% (35 students). From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model studentteam achievement division (STAD) can improve the learning outcomes of Civics students in grade IV SD Negeri 79 Pekanbaru

Abstract

This study aims to uncover spelling errors (letter use errors, word writing, and punctuation use) of fifth grade students ofelementary schools in South Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency. To achieve this goal qualitative descriptive research iscarried out with steps: collecting data on students' language errors and conducting language error analysis. The researchsubjects were fifth grade students of Margacinta Elementary School, Manangga Elementary School, and Pasanggrahan IElementary School, South Sumedang District. The results of the study showed that there were errors in language in students'narrative essays which included spelling errors (letter usage errors, word writing, and punctuation errors). Spelling errors thatoften appear are errors in capital letters, incorrect writing of prepositions, errors in the use of punctuation, errors in writingwords that are not in accordance with the rules of the correct language, and errors in writing of particles. The largest number ofmisspellings is Manangga Elementary School with a number of spelling errors of 52 (43.33%) and the smallest number ofmisspellings, namely Margacinta Elementary School with 27 (22.5%) errors.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low level of learning outcomes of science in fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 011 Desa Baru.For this reason, improvements to the learning process were carried out by applying the PROBEX learning model. This research isa classroom action research conducted in class IV SD Negeri 011 Baru Village with a total of 28 students. The data used in thisstudy are students' learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study obtained data that learning outcomes have increased afterapplying the PROBEX model. This can be seen from the average completeness of student learning outcomes in completeness precycle only 36% after the first cycle reached 64.28% and after the implementation of the second cycle reached 78.5%. Based on thisacquisition, it can be concluded that the PROBEX model can improve the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students ofSD Negeri 011 Desa Baru.

Abstract

Primary school extracurricular activities are additional activities of the compulsory learning process that must be possessed bystudents so that they can develop their talents, skills, and also characterize elementary school children as a provision in theirlives. The purpose of this study is to describe the extracurricular activities of elementary school art in Pekanbaru. This study usesdescriptive qualitative research methods. The extracurricular activities in Pekanbaru consist of drum band, tambourine, dance,nasyid, choir, painting. some schools run well and some only run if there are competitions or school events.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Bahasa Indonesia subject matter, and the topic isabout intrinsic and extrinsic elements of prose literature work. The method used is crossword puzzle method for grade V studentsof state elementary school no 165 Pekanbaru. This research is classroom action research (CAR) with guidance from classroomaction research Wardani and Kuswaya Wihardiet (2019). classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. To find outstudents' knowledge, a pre-cycle test is conducted. Then the planning for correction is carried out in cycle I and cycle II. Thesubject of the study was the fifth grade students of state elementary school no 165 Pekanbaru, with the number is 45 students.Data collection method is carried out based on documentation, observation, and tests. Data analysis techniques by analyzingdata through data collection, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This CAR is carried out in two cycles, each cyclearranges lesson plan, Procedures for implementing, evaluating, reflecting, learning outcomes of Bahasa Indonesian with a totalscore 3230 averaging 70.22; the first cycle is 3353 with an average of 48.89; and cycle II increased to 97.78. For studentscompleteness in pre-cycle is 26.67 cycle I increased to 48.85% and cycle II becomes 97.78%. It can be concluded that the use ofcrossword puzzle method can improve learning outcomes and learning activities of fifth grade students of state elementary schoolno 165 Pekanbaru.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in learning natural sciences at SD Negeri 21 Balai MakamKecamatan Mandau. The purpose of this study is to improve the learning process and improve student learning outcomes byapplying cooperative learning models Type Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS). The study was conducted in two cycles. The subjects ofthis study were 33 grade V students. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2016/2017 school year in August2017. Student learning outcomes in cycle 1 obtained an average of 74.53 and in cycle 2 it was obtained an average of 82.25 withan average increase in student learning outcomes of 25.83%. So it can be concluded that with the application of the Cooperativelearning model Type TSTS can improve the learning outcomes of Natural Sciences grade V students of SD Negeri 21 BalaiMakam Kecamatan Mandau.
