Abstract

The construction of an efficient mathematics classroom in primary school requires us to use various technical means and advanced design concepts comprehensively. The most important thing is to fully tap and release the inner potential of students through the use of these comprehensive technical means so that students can master knowledge more accuratelyand efficiently and learn and apply it flexibly. In real life, think about some practical problems with mathematical thinking and mode to carry out creative solutions for a problem. Therefore, under the guidance of information technology, the effective path of efficient primary schoolmathematics classroom, let us firmly seize the opportunity to develop The Times in the age of information technology and let the student's learning effect further improve

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the observation results and the researchers’ experience that integrated thematic learning at grade IV of elementary schools, especially in two subjects: IPS and PKn, which linked one another. This research was conducted at UPT SDN 08 Mandeh for as many as 28 students in grade IV. This study aimed to produce and reveal the successful use of animation media using the Sequenced model in integrated learning in grade IV elementary schools. This media was applied for social sciences and civics learning. This study utilized the Sequenced model, including several stages, namely: (1) sequence, (2) series, or (3) series. With limited articulation across disciplines, teachers could rearrange the order of topics so that similar units could intersect. Two related disciplines were sequenced so that the content of the two subjects could be taught in parallel. By ordering the topics, the activities of each of these disciplines could improve one another. This study was research and development. After the production stage, the initial product was produced and validated by a content expert, learning design expert, and instructional media expert. Furthermore, the product was tested on students through three stages: individual trials, small group trials, and field trials. This research concluded that the animation video learning media is expertly validated and attractive

Abstract

This study aimed to create a website-based learning media. The product development adopted the ADDIE model, which guided in designing the training program tools and infrastructure that were effective, dynamic, and supported the training performance itself. The researchers used this model to develop web-based learning media on solar system material.Written interviews (questionnaires) were used to reveal the level of needs at MI. The result of the needs analysis stage obtained that the learning was teacher-centered, the use of media was less attractive, and the internet facilities were not maximal in learning. The criteria of media required for a learning process were developed into web-based science learning media for solar system materials. This product was validated by a material expert, a lecturer at IAIN Salatiga, and was declared feasible after the revision. The sample test was randomly carried out at grade VI students, and the results with an average value of 80.7% were categorized as very feasible. The product effectiveness test was carried out on 30 grade VI students using the paired sample t-test on the questionnaire items. The results obtained that t-count was 8.605with p = 0.00 <0.05. It can be concluded that the pre-test and post-test results had significant changes

Abstract

The learning process explains the materials based on basic competencies and relates to the development and use of learning media. The media is used as input for educators to make it easier for students to achieve learning and make them enthusiastic in learning to facilitate students' understanding of learning. This study aimed to develop e-learning materials based on picture stories for grade II of Elementary School on the theme of Clean and Healthy Living, the sub-theme of Clean and Healthy Living at Home. This study was development research that used the Borg and Gall model modified by Sugiyono's six steps of the development design. The study involved teachers and the second-grade students of SDN Banjarsari. Two students were involved in the individual small group trial, ten students particisated in the first session trial, and ten students were included in the 2nd session trial. The trial results obtained a very high level of feasibility of the teaching materials. The results indicated that the validity of materials from media expert 1 was 88%, and media expert 2 was 93%. Then, the validity result fro

Abstract

One of the phases in child development is cognitive development. This cognitive development is based on the opinion that cognitive abilities are fundamental in guiding children's behavior. Cognitive development began to be studied in the middle ages when scientific advances rose. Vygotsky's cognitive theory states that children's knowledge is obtained through social interaction activities among individuals or between individuals and groups and in an environment. Several Vygotsky theories applied in the classroom learning include ZPD scores of children; it is not the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) but the use children's learning proximal development zone. According to this theory, children learn through more skilled peers as teachers, who monitor and help children use private speech and place teaching in a different context. Learning becomes meaningful and useful if children are trained to use thinking tools. For example, children can solve problems, make it easier for them to act, expand their thinking, and do something according to their natural capacity. The method used was descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observations, interviews, and documentation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to improve students' listening skills through the media of children's fairytales recording at grade IV of SDN Banget 2, Kelurahan Kwadungan, Kabupaten Ngawi in the academic year of 2021/2022. The method used in this study was classroom action research. The results showed that appropriate andrelevant learning media increased students' understanding of the materials because students were directly involved in the learning process. By directly experiencing the learning process, students quickly understood the concept of learning materials. After applying recording media for children's fairy tales, the students' listening ability increased. It was proved by the increase in students' learning achievement through the evaluation, showing that the average score in the pre-cycle was 62.5, and it increased to 70 in the first cycle and 82 in the second cycle. This study suggested that as a key instrument of educational success, teachers should continually improve their pedagogical competence through several KKG activities, educational workshops or seminars, and training. Meanwhile, students must often practice listening to a story or a children's fairytale to comprehend the materials better.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' writing skills through picture series media. This research was classroom action research which was believed to improve students' learning outcomes. The study was conducted at the first grade of SDN 014 Pengalian Enok. The subjects in this study were 29 students consisting of 12 male students and 17 female students. The results showed that picture series media improved students' writing skills. It was evident from the improvement of daily test results. The initial score of the students' daily test was 58, which was still below the KKM set by the school. Then, after the learning reflection on the first daily test, the average score of students' learning outcomes increased to 72. The students' scores increased by 12.4% compared to the initial data. Then, the average score on the second daily test also increased to 88, meaning that the students' learning outcomes increased by 15.6%. Therefore, using picture series media improved the students' writing skills at grade 1 of SDN 014 Pengalian Enok.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation, either partially or simultaneously, of the students’ sentence structure mastery (X1) and critical thinking (X2) towards their expository writing skills (Y). The research was conducted at SDN Wilayah Binaan I Makassar, East Jakarta, for the academic year of 2019/2020. This study was a quantitative approach with a written test survey method that applied correlational techniques (connectedness). The study took the samples through cluster random sampling technique. The results of the analysis showed that (1) there was a strong correlation of the students’ sentence structure mastery and expository writing skills; (2) there was a strong correlation of the students’ critical thinking skills and expository writing skills; and (3) there was a very strong correlation of the students’ sentence structure mastery and critical thinking skills towards their expository writing skills.
