Abstract

This research aims to find the main themes and research categories regardingnumeracy difficulties (Dyscalculia). For the data taken to fulfil the objectives of this research, the author searched for several relevant sources from Google Scholar and Scopus (SAGE et al.& Francis). Four combinations of keywords determined articles; then the articles were included in the data collection, and researchers applied a systematic literature review method. Articles that will be research sources are limited to the last six years. The dominant researchmethodology of the articles reviewed is qualitative. The four main themes revealed from the qualitative content analysis are dyscalculia, causes of dyscalculia, cases of dyscalculia, and solutions to overcome dyscalculia. Articles are filtered starting from topic description, eligibility criteria and search strategy. The total number of articles reviewed was 198 from different sources, namely Springer, Elsevier, SAGE, Eric, and Taylor & Francis. Then, it was reviewed again to obtain 87 articles. Then, reviewed again according to the theme in the title, 50 articles were found that were most suitable. Of the 50 articles that are most suitable for deeper study, dyscalculia occurs throughout the world. The cause of dyslexia can be due to developmental errors during pregnancy or other factors such as physical defects or the child'shabits. The solution offered by the teacher is to use several learning methods and media that are appropriate for the child's condition.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the observation results and the researchers’ experience that integrated thematic learning at grade IV of elementary schools, especially in two subjects: IPS and PKn, which linked one another. This research was conducted at UPT SDN 08 Mandeh for as many as 28 students in grade IV. This study aimed to produce and reveal the successful use of animation media using the Sequenced model in integrated learning in grade IV elementary schools. This media was applied for social sciences and civics learning. This study utilized the Sequenced model, including several stages, namely: (1) sequence, (2) series, or (3) series. With limited articulation across disciplines, teachers could rearrange the order of topics so that similar units could intersect. Two related disciplines were sequenced so that the content of the two subjects could be taught in parallel. By ordering the topics, the activities of each of these disciplines could improve one another. This study was research and development. After the production stage, the initial product was produced and validated by a content expert, learning design expert, and instructional media expert. Furthermore, the product was tested on students through three stages: individual trials, small group trials, and field trials. This research concluded that the animation video learning media is expertly validated and attractive

Abstract

This study aimed to create a website-based learning media. The product development adopted the ADDIE model, which guided in designing the training program tools and infrastructure that were effective, dynamic, and supported the training performance itself. The researchers used this model to develop web-based learning media on solar system material.Written interviews (questionnaires) were used to reveal the level of needs at MI. The result of the needs analysis stage obtained that the learning was teacher-centered, the use of media was less attractive, and the internet facilities were not maximal in learning. The criteria of media required for a learning process were developed into web-based science learning media for solar system materials. This product was validated by a material expert, a lecturer at IAIN Salatiga, and was declared feasible after the revision. The sample test was randomly carried out at grade VI students, and the results with an average value of 80.7% were categorized as very feasible. The product effectiveness test was carried out on 30 grade VI students using the paired sample t-test on the questionnaire items. The results obtained that t-count was 8.605with p = 0.00 <0.05. It can be concluded that the pre-test and post-test results had significant changes

Abstract

One of the phases in child development is cognitive development. This cognitive development is based on the opinion that cognitive abilities are fundamental in guiding children's behavior. Cognitive development began to be studied in the middle ages when scientific advances rose. Vygotsky's cognitive theory states that children's knowledge is obtained through social interaction activities among individuals or between individuals and groups and in an environment. Several Vygotsky theories applied in the classroom learning include ZPD scores of children; it is not the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) but the use children's learning proximal development zone. According to this theory, children learn through more skilled peers as teachers, who monitor and help children use private speech and place teaching in a different context. Learning becomes meaningful and useful if children are trained to use thinking tools. For example, children can solve problems, make it easier for them to act, expand their thinking, and do something according to their natural capacity. The method used was descriptive qualitative research with data collection through observations, interviews, and documentation.
