Abstract

Based on observations while at SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir, discovered the phenomenonamong others: (a) the majority of teachers who often do not come on time even did not comefor no apparent reason; (B) the majority of teachers who often leave the office during workinghours; and (c) the tasks and activities provided by the principal to the teachers not run asexpected, especially when the task outside the official school hours, many of the teachers werenot prepared for the learning tools they should have. Remedial and enrichment programs notrunning as it should, so that learning becomes less than the maximum. This study aims toimprove the performance of teachers through supervision. This type of research is actionresearch school (PTS) located at SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir, aimed at teachers. The mainreason is of the observations and information from the teacher, that teacher performance isstill relatively lacking. Place of research is in SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir. When the study wasconducted in February 2015. The number of samples set out in this study were 20 teachers.From the description of data processing and discussion it was concluded that teacherperformance is obtained in the first cycle of 57% with good enough category and the secondcycle increased to 80% in both categories. This means that the supervision activities canimprove the performance of teachers in SMPN 1 Kubu Rokan Hilir is successful.

Abstract

The problem in this research was social studies student achievement in fourth grade (IV) SDN 169 Pekanbaru still low with average value 63.88 (with KKM 75). The purpose of this research was to improve the student achievement of the fourth grade (IV) SDN 169 Pekanbaru with the implementation of Problem Based Learning model. This research was classroom action research with two cycles in first semester 2015. Before implementation Problem Based Learning average 63.88, after implementation of Problem Based Learning, UH I was 71.25 that improve 11.54% from before exam with average 61.62. UH II was 80.38 that improve 25.83%. Teacher’s activities with the implementation of Problem Based Learning at first meeting of first cycle was 70% (good category), and second meeting was 80% (good category) that improve 10 point. At second cycle, teacher’s activitiesat first meeting was 90% (very good category) that improve 10 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 95% (very good category) which improve 5 point. Students activities at first meeting of first cycle was 65% (good category), and second meeting 75% (good category) that improve 10 point. At second cycle, student activities at first meeting was 80% (good category) that improve 5 point from second meeting of first cycle. Second meeting of second cycle was 85% (very good category) which improve 5 point. Abstract

The problem in this research is the low of Civics learning outcomes in fourth grade (IV) SD Negeri 19 Balik Alam, this can be seen from the average grade, that is 66,23 (with KKM 70). The purpose of this study is to improve the results of learning Civics fourth grade students SD Negeri 19 Balik Alam with the application of quantum teaching learning model. This research is a class action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. Based on data analysis of research results after applying quantum teaching model, the average percentage of teacher activity in cycle I 66.66% increased to 85.4% in cycle II. The average percentage of student activity also increased by 56.25% in the first cycle increased to 87.49% in cycle II. Student learning outcomes on the basic score with the average class 66,23 and in the first cycle has increased with the average grade grade 71.11 with the percentage increase in learning outcomes 8.87% and the percentage of students who complete 73.07%, and on the second cycle increased again with the average class of 77.60 with the percentage increase in learning outcomes 17.16% and the percentage of students who complete 84.61%. The results of this study showed that the application of quantum teaching model can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 19 Balik Alam.

Abstract

This research is a research on the development of moral-based cooperative learning models in the application of the 2013 curriculum in elementary schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity and feasibility of the developed model. This research is a research and development (R&D and R&D) at SDN Dumai City. This development is carried out on the moral-based cooperative learning model in the application of the 2013 Curriculum at SDN Dumai City. The results showed the Graphic Design indicator got a validation score of 79.00 in the good category, the language effect received a validation score of 78.00 in the good category, and the content content effect received a validation value of 83.00 in the good category. While the results of the implementation, the results showed in SDN 002 Big Chart the results of the first trial got a score of 78 with a percentage of 46.33%, after the second trial the results of the study increased to 101 with a percentage of 59.83%, and again increased in the third trial to 134 with a percentage of 79.33%. While the implementation in SDN 004 Bagan the first tryout got a score of 61 with a percentage of 48.4% and increased in the second trial to 80 with a percentage of 63.4%, while in the third trial again increased to 91 with a percentage of 72%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the development of a moral-based cooperative learning model in the implementation of 2013 curriculum produced a valid and reliable moral-based cooperative manual (KBA) and was able to increase student interaction and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Cheating on Elementary School Students has occurred for a long time but it is still hard for teachers and the schools to overcome this phenomenon. Cheating will cause the children to be dishonest in achieving a high score. Besides, cheating will also be impactful until the students become adults. This behavior is harmful to other students who have studied hard and been honest in completing exams and assignments from teachers at school. Cheating is an act that is dishonest, fraudulent, and justifies anything to get a high score in completing the task, especially on tests or exams. This article applied a literature review as the research methodology to explain the situational, dispositional, personal, and external factors causing cheating. It was observed that cheating mostly acted by students were changing the answers in the exam after reading notes when the teacher was out of the classroom, using the notes prepared for answering the questions, looking at or asking for answers from other students, and allowing other students to view or copy his answers. This article encouraged the participation from parents, classroom teachers, and school institutions to work together to improve the students’ self-awareness in order that cheating would not become a habit to reach a high score in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying the method VII.2 classassignment sheet giving students conducted in March and April 2016. Subjects were seventhgrade students of SMP Negeri 2 Dumai totaling 26 students. The parameters in this study isthe absorption and mastery learning as well as student activities and teacher activities assupporting data. The research instrument used is the study and data collection instruments.The device consists of a learning syllabus, lesson plan, test, observation of student activitysheets, activity sheets teacher observation. The survey results revealed absorption of studentsin the first cycle is 70% with moderate category and second cycle increased to 78% in thehigh category. Mastery learning of students in the first cycle is 88.46% and 88.50% in thesecond cycle students completed. Activities of students in the first cycle an average of80.76%% (very good) and the second cycle is an increase of 97.5% (excellent). It can beconcluded that the method of administration of the student assignment sheet can improvestudent learning outcomes in the classroom ecosystem VII 2 material SMP Negeri 2 Dumai.

Abstract

The problem on this researchis is that low students’ achievement on social science in fourthgraderes at SD Negeri 56 Pekanbaru within average score 60 and clasical completenes 40%within minimal completenes criterion stated is 70. The purpose of this research is to improvestudents’ achievement on social science of the fourth graderes in SD Negeri 56 Pekanbaruwith the application of cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. This researchwas classroom action research consisting 2 cycles within 4 procedures: planning, doing,observing, and reflecting, and each cycle consists of three meetings. Instruments on thisresearch are sylabus, lesson plan, and student work sheet. Instruments for collecting data areobservation sheet and test. Data which was collected were learning outcomes and teacher’sactivities during the lessons. After impelentation of cooperatif learning model type GroupInvestigation it was abtained students’ outcomes in UH I within average 70,50 (improvedfrom basic score 17,50%) with classicall completeness 60%. The average score form UH IIwas 80,83 (improved 34,72%) with classicall completeness 81,82%. Teacher activities resultsin the first meeting of the first cycle was 59,38% (fair category), 71,88% (good category) forthe second meeting in cycle I. Meanwhile in the first meeting of the second cycle was 84,38%(very good category), 90,63% (very good category) for second meeting in cycle II. Students’activity in the first meeting of the cycle I was 56,25% 9fair category), 65,63% (goodcategory) ) for the second meeting in cycle I. And then in the first meeting of the secondcycle was 81,25% (very good category), 87,50% (very good category) for second meeting incycle II. Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of students mathematics learning outcomes. This is because passive students in participating in learning, and in group learning activities, group less responsible members of the group, resulting in lower student learning outcomes. This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes mathematics using cooperative learning model NHT. The research was conducted in classes VI SDN 011 Kerumutan Beringin Kecamatan Makmur. Research was conducted during two cycles. The research instrument consists of a sheet of teacher activity observation and student activity and learning outcomes. Based on the results of research and discussion, that the learning outcomes of students has increased after learning activities using cooperative learning model NH. This statement is supported by the results that have been raised previously, namely: (1) the results of the initial test results of learning mathematics students get an average of 54.00 with learning completeness percentage of 48%; (2) in the first cycle of students' mathematics learning outcomes increased with an average value of 64.00 with learning completeness percentage of 84%; and (3) in the second cycle students' mathematics learning outcomes increased with an average value of 67.00 with learning completeness percentage of 92%. This shows that the classical completeness has been reached, in which the research is successful if the completeness achieved 80% of students obtaining a minimum value of 70. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model NHT can improve mathematics learning outcomes SDN 011 Beringin Makmur Kecamatan Kerumutan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the results of student learning science VI low grade of primary school 9 DuriBarat with an average value of 67.14. Therefore, the researchers provide learning alternatives to the applicationby implementing role playing model in class VI SD Negeri 9 Duri Barat. This research aims to improve studentlearning outcomes VI Elementary School science class 9 Duri Barat Application by implementing role playingmodel. This research is a form of classroom action research (PTK) with 2 cycles. Based on research data anlisisafter applying by implementing role playing model, the average percentage of the activity of teachers in the firstcycle of 62.5% increased to 85.25% in the second cycle. The average percentage of student activity alsoincreased 50% in the first cycle increased to 83.3% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in basicscore with an average of 67.14 with 50% completion percentage of classes and the first cycle increased with anaverage value of 75.17 class with an increasing percentage of learning outcomes of 11.96% and the percentageof students who complete 57, 14%. Then the average value silus class II increased to 87.85 with the percentageincrease learning outcomes by 30.84% and the percentage of students who completed was 85.71%, after theimplementation by implementing role playing model. These results indicate that the implementation byimplementing role playing model can improve student learning outcomes Elementary School science class VI SDNegeri 9 Duri Barat.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter tanggung jawab siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya kesadaran siswa akan tanggung jawab di sekolah dan di rumah. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru yang berjumlah 136 siswa dan sampel berjumlah 48 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas V SDN 136 Pekanbaru bertanggung jawab baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis siswa mengerjakan PR sebanyak 74.48%, mengulangi pelajaran di rumah persentase sebanyak 58.68%, membantu orangtua di rumah persentase sebanyak 66.87%, mengerjakan tugas piket kelas sebesar 70.31%, mengerjakan tugas kelompok bersama dengan teman kelompok sebesar 68.75%, mengerjakan tugas individu sebesar 70.31%, menjaga kebersihan sekolah sebesar 69.44%, meminta maaf kepada teman jika bersalah sebesar 61.20%. Dapat disimpulkan siswa kelas V SD Negeri 136 Pekanbaru bertanggungjawab baik di rumah maupun di sekolah. Dengan demikian, pihak sekolah maupun guru hendaknya dapat lebih meningkatkan penanaman karakter tanggung jawab di sekolah.
