The research is aimed to see and give the description whether the using of card as a learning media can increase the students` achievement in learning japanese language this research design uses action research that consists of two cycles. Every cycle consists of plan, action, observation, and reflection. The instrument used to know the students` activity during the teachung and learning process.This research consists of two cycles. Every cycle consits of four meetings. If there is a weakness in the first cycle, it result will be repaired in the second cycle. The result of the research is that 1, 56% students listens teacher`s explanation, 14, 06 % students take note from the tacher`s explanation, 44, 53 % students give opinion, 23, 44 % students ask questions, and 43, 34 % students answer the questions. By using card as media in learning process, it is hoped that the students will be motivated and interested in learning japanese language.Key words : media card, development of the result learning

Natural Sciences (IPA) is one of the important lesson in learning. Even for the upper secondary level or high school level, this subject to one program penjurusan which will determine the students majoring in College. In addition, this science subjects also joined the national final examination (UAN) who became the main requirements for students graduating. The research design used in this research is the class action research (PKT). The aspect that is observed on each cycle and is the result of the learning and teaching process subjects source of energy and its benefits using media pictures. The subject of the learning improvement activities are the students of class 2 SDN 78 Pekanbaru with the number of students 39 people with the details of 20 students of male and female students 19 people. The results of research on the pre cycle, the value of the results of the learning science students, the average 43,08 and there are no students who achieve KKM. Then on the cycle I the results of learning science students an average of 1.807 and students who achieve KKM 9 students (23%). At cycle II, the value of the average student learning results reach 82,56 and students who achieve KKM 39 students (100%). The implementation of the media image can improve the results of learning science students on the subjects of energy sources and benefits. The learning process explains the source of energy and its benefits the sequence on each cycle apply media image and be led by the researchers and observers.

This research is motivated by the differences in the implementation of 2013 curriculum learning with the previous curriculum. This study aims to describe the competence of teachers in the implementation of K13 learning on the theme 1 sub-theme 3 of class IV SDN 181 Pekanbaru, and the subjects in this study were IVB class teachers. The research design in this study is descriptive qualitative. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses data analysis techniques Miles and Huberman. Data analysis techniques are done by collecting, reducing, presenting, drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the implementation of educative learning carried out by teachers through initial activities, core activities and closing activities in one sub theme of learning for four meetings is 62% of the criteria set. Based on the category on the multilevel scale the teacher's competency in the implementation of learning is at a poor interval.

This study aimed to determine the worthiness of Geoboard media and to identify the students' mathematical understanding ability after the implementation of Geoboard media in learning mathematics at grade IV SDN Serang 11. Geoboard media is a tool for teaching mathematics at elementary schools to embed the concepts/geometry, such as introducing plane figures, instilling the understanding about the concept of plane figures, and determining the area and perimeter. The method of this research was Research and Development (R&D) with the stages of problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and limited product trials. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Geoboard Media which was designed like a chessboard was developed based on the validation results with the score reaching 90% from material experts, 88% from media experts, and 93,5% from students’ responses. These results were categorized as Very Appropriate. Using Geoboard media for learning plane figures was considered to be effective to enhance students' mathematical understanding as it was obtaining that the average score was above the KKM (81.75%). After conducting several stages of validation, the final product of Geoboard learning media was considered to be very suitable, efficient, and attractive to be used as a learning media for mathematics learning, especially for plane figures materials, at grade IV SDN Serang 11.

This research was motivated by the activity and motivation of students to learn social sciencesis still low. This is shown in their behavior when the following study social sciences. Based onthe test scores of the first half of social sciences with KKM (minimum completeness criteria)was 65 known that 58% of students have graduated KKM while 42% of students did notcomplete. Under the conditions described, we can conclude that student learning outcomesare still low. Researchers also conducted interviews with several students. Some students saidthat the conditions were not conducive classes, friends who like crowded in the classroom, theway teachers deliver material is less clear, the reason for the lazy student learning so thatlearning is low. The objectives to be achieved in this research is to determine the applicationof cooperative learning think pair share (TPS) in improving learning outcomes for socialsciences at the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 001 Ukui Satu. lessons classroom actionresearch (PTK) planned two cycle. Each cycle in action research consists of four stages,namely: 1) planning (planning), 2) the implementation of the (acting), 3) of observation(observing), 4) reflection (reflecting). This study was conducted in SD Negeri 001 Ukui Satuin the fourth grade, while the timing of this research is in the second semester of the academicyear 2016. In this classroom action research that is the subject of research is the students ofclass IV consisting of 34 students with a composition of 11 male students-Eighteen and 23female students. Data collection techniques in this study is the observation, testing,documentation and interviews.

The background of this study is the low learning outcomes of mathematics students, from 20 students only 7 students (35%) with an average value of 56.00. This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes by applying the image media in the learning process. This research is a classroom action research, conducted in class IV SDN 003 Tembilahan Kota, this research is conducted in two cycles with four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The result of research indicate that the acquisition of mathematics learning outcomes of students in cycle I the total number of students who completed totaled 13 students (65.00%) with an average score of 72.50. In cycle II the number of completed students amounted to 19 students (95.00%) with an average score of 83.25. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of image media can improve student learning outcomes of grade IV SDN 003 Tembilahan Kota, Kecamatan Tembilahan, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir.

Reading is very important for life because reading can make us know all the information we need. Students are able to read not by chance or by inspiration, but because they are taught. Reading is not a natural activity, but a set of components that are mastered privately and gradually, which are then integrated and become automatic. However, at present there are still problems with reading in primary schools, namely the lack of students' reading skills in high grades. This research is motivated by the low reading ability of fifth grade students at SDN 105 Pekanbaru. There are 2 students who became the object of this study because of their lack of reading ability compared to their other friends. In connection with these problems, researchers conducted a study of fifth grade students at Pekanbaru Elementary School 105 with the aim of knowing what factors influenced students' reading ability. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the method used is the survey and observation methods. Data collection conducted in this study was by interview and documentation as supporting material. Based on the results of data analysis obtained from the triangulation of data collection observations and interviews conducted by researchers of this study concluded that the factors affecting reading ability of students in SD Negeri 105 Pekanbaru are intellectual factors and psychological factors.

WORKSHOP TECHNIQUE SUPERVISION TO IMPROVE TEACHERS’ PEDAGOGIC AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN TEACHING AT SDN 18 BATANG BARUS, KABUPATEN SOLOK Jonrivisman Jonrivisman; Ahmad F; Farida F

This research was initiated by the lack of teachers’ pedagogical and professional competence at SDN 18 Batang Barus in performing the teaching and learning process. The research aimed to describe the implementation of workshop technique supervision to enhance the pedagogical and professional competence of the classroom teachers at SDN 18 Batang Barus. The method of this research was school action research which was conducted in 2 cycles at the end of semester I academic year 2017/2018. This research involved 9 classroom teachers as the research subjects. The research data were collected through the observation of the implementation of workshop technique supervision and the assessment of pedagogical and professional competence of classroom teachers. The results showed that the implementation of workshop technique supervision at SDN 18 Batang Barus followed the procedures which was divided into four main steps: (1) planning, including setting workshop goals (output to be achieved), formulating the main points, determining the troubleshooting procedures, and determining tools and supplies used during the workshop, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection including formulating the difficulties faced and formulating an action plan as a follow up activities. After applying workshop technique supervision, this research revealed an increase of pedagogical competence of the classroom teachers at SDN 18 Batang Barus, which was initially 51.61 and increased to 69.40 in cycle I and became 86.05 cycle II. Moreover, it was also found an improvement of the professional competence of the classroom teachers after applying workshop technique supervision, which was initially 43.75 and increased to 65.19 in cycle I and became 86.11 in cycle II. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that workshop technique supervision could be used as an alternative way to do supervision for teachers who mostly faced the same problems.

This research is motivated by the lack of motivation to learn mathematics student class VSDN 010 Ujung Batu. Goals to be achieved in this research is to improve student learningmotivation math class V SDN 010 Ujung Batu through the game card numbers as propscarried out for 1 month. This research was conducted in SDN 010 Ujung Batu. Classes thatthorough research is a class V with the number of students as many as 30 people. Thisclassroom action research was started in August 2014. This form of research is classroomaction research. The research instrument consists of instruments teacher and student activitysheets and achievement test. Based on the results of research and discussion can beconcluded that the application of the card game of numbers as props can increase studentmotivation to learn mathematics in the subject matter of integers class V SDN 010 UjungBatu, as it is seen in the first cycle of students' motivation by category reached 59.9% prettygood, and increased in the second cycle in which student learning mnotivasi be 71.3% withgood category, dnegan this shows the card game as props able to increase students'motivation in learning mathematics

Mathematics learning proses which was done by teachers in grade II SDN 034 Tarai Bangundid not use interesting methods that made students pasif because the teacher just explainedtheory without inviting students to find the mathematics concepts and real activity. Thisresearch aims to know whether using beads media on Realistic Mathematics Educationapproach can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes at II.A of SDN 034 TaraiBangun in 2013/2014 with 26 students. From data analysis of pretest and posttest, thelearning outcomes increased from both classes (experiment and control). In experiment classaverage pretest score increased from 60,95 to 75,42 with improvement percentage 23%.Meanwhile in control class average pretest score increased 55,16 to 58,06 with improvementpercentage 5%. From the explanation above it shows that using beads media on RealisticMathematics Education approach can improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes atII.A of SDN 034 Tarai Bangun. T-test is used to know whether or not significantly differentbetween both classes with t-test and 60 degree of freedom. t count was bigger than absolute t tablethen Ho was rejected, or H1 was accepted. As a conclusion there is a significantly different ofstudents’ outcomes between experiement and control class.Key Words: Beads media, Realistic Mathematics Education approach
