Abstract

This research focuses on an effort to look improvement of activities and a biology subject result as an effect of implemention of Numbered Head Together (NHT) in learning. This research was done at SMP N 25 Pekanbaru on biology subject, with subject was 40 students of class VII-1, 19 females and 21 males. After this research has been done, the average students’ activities increased on activity of listening teacher’s explanation from 90% in the first cycle into 94 % in the second cycle. Then it was a proof that learning biology process with using Cooperatif Learning Model Type Number Heads Together can increase students’ participantion in learning process on classroom discussion. Meanwhile, students’ result on Biology learning, Animal Classification, in class VII-1 on SMPN 25 Pekanbaru using Cooperative Learning Model Type Numbered Heads Together increased from first to second cycle. In can be seen from thoroughness percentage of students who achieved above school standar, KKM, namely 27 person (68%) on the first cycle and 34 person (85%) on the second cycle, or it increased 17%.Keywords: numbered heads together, learning activity, learning result.

Abstract

Based on the author's experience teaching for this in SD Negeri 010 Banjar PanjangKerumutan, and based on observation and early reflections by the author seen low creativityof students in learning that ultimately ends up in the low student learning outcomesthemselves, especially on the subjects of Natural Sciences. After many tests on the midtermturns lower student learning outcomes. Completeness class only reach 50% or 10 out of 20students, KKM for subjects of Natural Sciences which has been set in the class IV SD Negeri010 Banjar Panjang Kerumutan is the number 70. As Judge things that cause children lowvalue, from the aspect of teachers are: teacher always using methods lectures, learningachievement of children have been considered equally by teachers, and the learning processis dominated by the teacher. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). Class actionresearch through the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Fromthe research data is a result of learning of natural science at the top can be seen learningoutcome science students from the action on the preliminary data for the first cycle to thesecond cycle by improving student learning outcomes that menigkat are significant, the initialdata of students who achieve mastery only 50 % and cycle to the first increase has reached70% and the thoroughness of the class in the second cycle reaches 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe learning outcomes through the application of PAKEM learning model. The subjects of the study were the students of grade IVb SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari. Improvement of learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely the ability to absorb, the effectiveness of learning, mastery of student learning both mastery of individual and classical completeness and mastery of learning outcomes. Instruments used for data collection are oral tests and written tests in the form of LKS conducted after the learning process. The results showed that the percentage of student completeness increased from 19.40% to 55.40% categorized well, the effectiveness of learning is categorized very effective with an average of 88.46%. While the completeness of student learning outcomes expressed. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of PAKEM learning model can improve learning outcomes on the material of the students of class IV B grade SD Negeri 013 Mekarsari.

Abstract

Low reading skills, preferably reading students, a family environment that has never accustomed to a culture of reading and the development of increasingly sophisticated technologies, such as cell phones, usually children prefer the main game on cellphones to read and increase motivation. The point must be instilled in you who are reading is one means to improve the quality of self because by reading someone will get a lot of information. the purpose of receiving support through this research is to describe the reading skills of grade IV students with scanning techniques in Pelita Jaya Elementary School. The place of research is Pelita Jaya Cluster Elementary School consisting of 8 schools with a total of 274 students and a sample of 163 students. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive research with test instruments. The results of this study were the ability to read by scanning techniques from 163 students who became a sample that received students who received very good categories for 31 people, 32 good categories, then only 19 people were categorized, and 81 people were categorized less than 81 people. support the number of classified as sufficient, with an average value of 55.92.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the implementation of the learning based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) for social science subject at grade V, especially when learning was conducted online. HOTS-based learning began to be applied when the 2013 curriculum was refined. Therefore, schools in Indonesia started to implement HOTS-based learning in order that the students achieved a superior level of thinking. In addition, the refinement of the 2013 curriculum has also been linked to smart predictions occurred in the 21st century, in which everything is based on students, for example how students build their skills to live and work, to innovate, and skills to manage technology. These skills are related to everyday life in which a person performs social activities. This social life is summarized in Social Sciences (IPS) subject taught to students in elementary schools. Social science subject is influential in educating the students since the materials are very helpful for the students to understand their world. However, students are candidates of the society, so that provision is crucial before they start to socialize. IPS is presented to provide learning on order to fulfill their social nature as humans or social beings.

Abstract

This study is a class action that aims to improve learning outcomes IPA SD Negeri 004 Simpang Pulai. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes IPA. It is based on the observation of only 50% or 11 students out of 22 students who completed study results. The reasons for this are: (1) the use of a lecture by the teacher; (2) teacher-centered learning; (3) passive students, and quickly get bored and eager in the following study. Based on this the researchers want to do research through the application of the method of demonstration. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of the method of demonstration can improve learning outcomes IPA SD Negeri 004 Simpang Pulai Kecamatan Ukui? The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes through the application of the method demosntrasi IPA. In this study, the research was conducted for two cycles. The result showed that the learning outcomes of each cycle IPA has increased. In the first cycle increased from 65 in the initial data becomes 69.25. In the second cycle increased increase with the acquisition of 74.5. Based on these results we can conclude that through the implementation of demonstration method can improve learning outcomes IPA SD Negeri 004 Simpang Pulai, Kecamatan Ukui, Pelalawan.

Abstract

SD Negeri 011 Beringin Makmur, especially in the fourth grade, KKM to subjects who haveditatapkan PPKn is by KKM is 65. Particularly in the fourth grade SD Negeri 011 BeringinMakmur PPKn low student learning outcomes. It can be seen from the students after the testin midterm average value of only 61.5. Based on the preliminary study authors, the lowstudent learning outcomes PPKn caused by several things, the strategies used in teaching theteacher does not comply with the demands of learning and students during lessons PPKnfrequency only ask very little because the material is only presented in the form of lectures.The purpose of this study is to improve learning outcomes in subjects PPKn through theimplementation of inquiry learning model SD Negeri 011 Beringin Makmur fourth gradestudents. This research is a classroom action through the stages of planning, implementingaction, observation and reflection. Design research is the model cycle of improvementplanning, implementing action, observation and reflection. The subjects were students ingrade IV SD Negeri 011 Beringin Makmur with the number of 30 people, including 15 womenand 15 men. While the object of the research is PPKn student learning outcomes, the dataused in this study focuses on learning outcomes data PPKn only. From the results of theaction, can be seen learning outcome Civics students from before action is taken (preliminarydata) cycle I and after the action on the second cycle by improving student learning outcomesthat have been achieved, known completeness class on preliminary data only 15 or (50 %) ofall students and after repair in the first cycle has increased to 26 people or 87% of the totalclass IV student SD Negeri 011 Beringin Makmur. After the improvement in cycle II to beincreased to 27 students or 90%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of “the characteristics andneeds of creature” the score obtained by students is still under the criteria of minimal Exhaustiveness that is 70.To achieve the score determined then the authors use the method of media images. This method involves a lot ofstudent activities. Subjects in this study were students of class III A Elementary School 017 Kundur. Datacollection procedures by using observation which contains teacher learning procedure consist of learningimprovement planning, teacher and student observation data and result of initial and final test. Data analysisuses qualitative data. This study was conducted in two cycles. Every cycle has planning, implementation,observation reflection and assessment. To see pre-cycle student learning outcomes. In pre-cycle, score obtainedfor the first complete one is 12 people (54,55%) not complete as many as 10 people (45,45%). The first cycle is15 people (72.73%) and not complete as many as 7 people (27.27%). Cycle II has completed totally 22 people(100%). For the range of score 80 - 89 and the criteria of high assessment. In conclusion, the use of imagemedia methods can improve the results and motivation of students' learning grade III A state elementary school017 Kundur.

Abstract

Local scripts are the priceless cultural heritage of the nation. The existence of local scripts today is increasingly eroded by the use of Latin writing. A few young people are able to write local scripts. One of the forgotten local scripts is the Sasambo script in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). This study aims to describe the learning interest of PGSD students on local scripts. This research was designed in a quantitative descriptive form. The data was collected through surveys. The instrument used were a closed questionnaire and interview guidelines. Data analysis used descriptive statistics. The subject of research was PGSD students of University of Mataram. The results showed that PGSD students' interest in learning about local scripts was very low. The indicators showed that few students have ever learned local scripts, the number of students interested in learning local scripts was small, the number of students who were willing to read literature was small, the number of students who had interested on local scripts was small, the use of local scripts was also small and the assumption that local scripts were not important to learn. The reason for the lack of interest in learning about local scripts was because local scripts were difficult to learn and were not needed anymore in practical life. Based on the findings, it needs various efforts to increase student interest in learning local scripts Sasambo through learning innovation. By learning local scripts, it is expected that the preservation of local scripts will be maintained.

Abstract

This research intent to see how big influence of approaching aptitude treatment interaction (ATI) to mathematics concept grasp student brazes VIII SMP Country 25 Pekanbaru. This research constitute my research experiment attention. Subjec in observational it is student braze VIII4 as agglomerate as experiment by totals student 40 person and VIII3'S classes as agglomerate as controls by totals students 40. Base analisis data to pretes's score to know student startup ability on agglomerate experiment and control group. On student experiment group that will study by ATI'S approaching has average early learned result mathematics (pretes) as big as 17,15. Meanwhile on group controls student who will study by ordinary learning (conventional) have average early learned result mathematics (pretes) as big as 13,85. Analisis is data to postes's score on agglomerate learned student experiment with ATI'S approaching has average final learned result mathematics (postes) as big as 74,63. Meanwhile on group controls learned student with ordinary learning (conventional) have average final learned result mathematics (postes) as big as 62,93. Of quiz result distinctive both of average usufruct to study mathematics finals (postes) that points out that there is difference which signifikan among both of experiment class with control class.Keywords: aptitude treatment interaction (ATI), mathematics concept
