Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of promotions, price perception, and the need to find variations, collectively or partially against the decision of brand switching on Im3 GSM card to Simpati. The data used in this research is the primary data. The population in this study is Stikubank Semarang University students who switch brands Im3 GSM Card to Simpati. Determination of the number of samples by using the formula Djarwanto and Subagyo. Based on this formula, then the sample size in this study as many as 100 students. The sampling technique using purposive sampling, namely choosing a sample in according with certain criteria. Data already collected then tabulated and tested by using validity and reliability. After fulfilling the criteria of valid and reliable, then the multiple linear regression analysis to obtain information about the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. These results indicate that brand switching decision positively and significantly influenced by promotions, price perception, and the need to find variations. The variable most dominant influence brand switching decision Im3 GSM Card to Simpati is Promotion. Keyword: promotions, price perception, the need to find variations, and brand switching decision.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR),Cost Inefficiency (INEF),LDR and Bank Size (SIZE) on NPL in commercial banks. This research was conducted using secondary data. Population in this research was a commercial bank in OJK from 2011 up to 2013. Sampling technique used was purposive sampling. There are 56 commercial banks being analysed. This study uses regression analysis. The research proves that the CAR have negative and not significant impact on NPL,Cost Inefficiency (INEF), LDR and Bank Size (SIZE) have positive and significant effect on NPL. Adjusted R Square is 0,141 this means thant 14.1% of the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variable , while the remaining 85.9 % is explained by other causes outside the model Keywords: NPL, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Cost Inefficiency, Loan to Deposit Ratio, and SIZE.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to examine the effect of Firm Size, Growth, Devidend Policy, and Profitability to Firm Value in an industrial manufacturing company that go public on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling method inthis study using purposive sampling method with the studyperiod of 2010 to 2013. The data used in this research is data from manufacturing companies that meet the selection criteria. The analytical method used in this study is multiple regresion analysis.The multiple regression shows that Firm Size, Devidend Policy, and Profitability have significant positive effect on Firm Value, while Growth haven’t significant positive effect on Capital Structure. Adjusted R Square value of 0,848 can illustrate that the dependent variable is explained by the independent variable variabelitas for 84,8%%, while 15,2% are influenced by the other variables. Abstract

This research  aims to investigate the influence of the ratio  profitability, company size (firmsize), and leverage to bond rating. The financial performance consisted of profitability (return on equity), firm size (total assets), and leverage (DER) . The sampels in this research were obtained by using purposive sampling method that consists of bonds issued by companies listed on the Stock Exchange the period 2010- 2014 and rated by PT Pefindo. This  reserach uses a model of logistic regression analysis.Results of this test proves the profitability ratios significant positive effect on bond ratings, while the size of the company and leverage is a variable that does not affect the bond ratings. Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of work discipline, competence, and compensation awarding on employees performance. Object of study in this paper is the PT Aquarfarm Nusantara Semarang. The sampling technique in this research is to use simple random sampling (random) sample of 90 respondents as a data collection method using a questionnaire (questionnaire) by distributing a list of questions to the respondentin order to obtain information. The research objective wash formulated to determine the effect of work discipline, competence, and compensation awarding on employee performance. The data were analyzed using factor analysis to test the validity of the question items, Cronbach alpha formula to test the reliability of each of the independent variables were tested by regression analysis. The results of the research are : (1) work discipline has a positive and significant influence on imployee permormance. (2) competence has a positive and significant impact influence on imployee permormance. Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of Product Quality and Customer Value on satisfaction and customer loyalty Starbucks Paragon Mall Semarang. The population in this study is a Starbucks customer Paragon Semarang. The minimum sample size in this study, the number of indicators of the study were 19 so that the number of samples is 5 times the number of indicators or as many as 5 x 18 = 90. However, in this study the samples are rounded to 100. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The criteria for the samples in this study are customers who have made purchases of more than 3 times. The analysis tool used is the test of validity, reliability, multiple linear regression and test of mediation. The results of the analysis can be concluded that: product quality positively affects customer satisfaction. Customer value positive effect on customer satisfaction. Product quality positively affects customer loyalty. Customer value positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction is not as mediating variables influence product quality to customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction is not as mediating variables influence customer value on customer loyalty Keywords: product quality, customer value, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of work discipline, work environment, organizational culture on employee performance. The object of research in this paper is the Office Dintanbunnakikan Blora district. Sampling technique in this research is using Simple Random Sampling (random) amount to 50 respondents in the sample data collection method using a questionnaire (questionnaire) by distributing questionnaires to the respondents in order to obtain information. The research objective formulated to determine the effect of work discipline, work environment, organizational culture on employee performance. Data were analyzed using factor analysis to test the validity of the question items, Cronbach alpha formula to test the reliability of each independent variable in the regression analysis test. The results of the research are: (1) the discipline of work and no significant negative influence on employee performance. (2) the work environment and no significant negative influence on employee performance. Abstract

Consumer brand switching is a complex phenomenon influenced by behavioral factors, competition, and time. Consumer brand switching is done due to the variation search. But the brand switching can also occur through sales promotion. Some of the things that cause dissatisfaction among consumers, advertising and the price of competitors products better and affordable for consumers. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the decision to switch brands ex Blackberry users to Samsung at the Faculty of Economics UNISBANK among other factors perception of pricing, advertising, and consumer dissatisfaction. This research is descriptive. The total sample of 100 respondents. The research instrument using a questionnaire. Analysis of data using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the perception of price is positive and significant impact on the decision to switch brands in UNISBANK Semarang. This shows that the better the perception of the price of Samsung, the decision to switch from Blackberry to Samsungs brand will increase. Advertising is positive and significant impact on the decision to switch brands in UNISBANK Semarang. This shows that the better the ads Samsung, the decision to switch from Blackberry to Samsungs brand will increase. Consumer dissatisfaction is positive and significant impact on the decision to switch brands in UNISBANK Semarang. This shows that the higher consumer dissatisfaction Blackberry hence the decision to switch from Blackberry to Samsungs brand will increase.
