Abstract

Identification of Elements and Spatial Patterns in the Dharma Giri Monastery Park in Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency, Bali. This research is motivated by the absence of a description of the spatial pattern used and the character of the forming elements at Vihara Dharma Giri in Pupuan District, Tabanan Regency, Bali. This study aims to identify the physical conditions, elements and patterns of space and the philosophical concept of the Vihara Dharma Giri Garden. The method used in this research is a survey method with data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, and literature study as well as descrictive qualitative data analysis. The results of data analysis are presented in the form of an illustration of the Dharma Giri Vihara space pattern. Based on the analysis, it is found that the characters are based on the Vihara Dharma Giri by the biophysical aspects and have a spatial pattern that follows the Tri Hita Karana concept. In the division of space, there is also a garden area which is also called a statue garden. The role and elements of society are needed in maintaining and caring for the Vihara Dharma Giri so that its sustainability is maintained. Abstract

Evaluation of the Management Landscape in Bendosari City Park, Salatiga. Bendosari City Park is a citypark located in Salatiga, Central Java. This City Park is one of the Green Open Spaces located on the side of the highway, has an area of 3.8 ha, of course requires maximum maintenance because there are two landscape elements in the park, hardscape elements there are buildings and public facilities for park visitors, while softscape elements there are vegetation in the form of trees dominating so as to make the atmosphere cool. The purpose of this research is to determine the existing conditions and landscape management of the park, then the characteristics and satisfaction level of visitors, so that an analysis of strength and weakness, opportunities, and threats of city park landscape management can be carried out, then produce recommendations for city park landscape management strategies based on the results of SWOT analysis. Therefore, we evaluated the landscaping management of Bendosari City Park using the SWOT method. Having the strength of the location with the highway, the weakness is the lack of experts who understand the maintenance of softscapes, the opportunities is the support from the city government, and the threats that have a lack of awareness of visitors about the cleanliness of the park, then the preparation of management strategies that can be recommended, such as maximizing the use of city parks as green open space by improving management that already exists, and draws up in writing the duties and responsibilities of the gardener to make it easier to understand.

Abstract

Tourism Landscape Development Policy Program Melasti Beach Tourist Attraction, Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung. Melasti Beach is located in Badung Regency, this natural tourist attraction is used for tourist activities and socio-religious activities. The tourism activity in Melasti Beach requires the landscape development must takes into account the supporting tourism aspects and the socio-religious aspects in it. The purpose of this research is to create a policy program for developing the Melasti Beach tourism landscape that is harmonious between the supporting tourism aspects and socio-religious aspects. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study. The stages in this research consist of preparation, data inventory, data analysis, data synthesis and making tourism landscape development policy programs. Analysis and data synthesis were carried out quantitatively using level of assessment and descriptive levels to obtain a reference for making tourism landscape development policy programs that refer to the Tri Mandala concept. The planned policy program are planned in the form of space management programs, recommendations for problem solving and circulation during religious ceremonies and other tourist activities.

Abstract

Planning of historical tourism interpretation route in Blahbatuh Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali. Blahbatuh village is one of the villages in Blahbatuh district, Gianyar regency, Bali, with historical heritage in the form of historical stories and sites. Blahbatuh village starts to develop tourism programs that involves historic sites. One of tourism program that can be developed in Blahbatuh is a historical tourism that utilizing interpretation activity. This study has two objectives, that are to identify the potential historical sites as an attraction for tourist, and to plan interpretation route for historical tourism in Blahbatuh. This study uses survey method with planning stage from Gold which consist of preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, and planning. Descriptive analysis is applied in biophysics, and tourism aspects which consists of attraction, amenities, accessibility, and ancillary. Quantitative analysis is applied to measure the variable of tourist attraction. The result is formulated into an interpretation route plan, that is based on themes, space programming plan, and circulation plan. The interpretation route of Blahbatuh Village’s historical heritage is developed from the era of Bali ancient kingdom, to the colonial time within the village vicinity of Blahbatuh.

Abstract

Increasing the Mixed Use Function of the Jendral Soedirman street Area, Salatiga City through Redesigning Pedestrian Pathways. Jendral Sudirman street is Salatiga's busiest business district and economic center. The Jendral Sudirman street business district is used for a variety of purposes, including shopping areas, traditional markets, modern markets, offices, places of worship, hotels, and education. Based on the amount of human movement in the Jendral Sudirman street business area, both by vehicles and pedestrians. However, the area lacks the adequate pedestrian infrastructure to support pedestrian activity. As a result, a review of the pedestrian path's planning and redesign was conducted, taking into account the site's location, materials, and the requirement for facilities and infrastructure. The study used qualitative descriptive method to determine the landscape, planning, and develop a design for the pedestrian path in the Jendral Sudirman street business area using the data obtained through analysis and synthesis. The newly designed tools are powered by Autocad for making siteplan and Google SketchUp for making visual 3D design. The pedestrian redesign of the Jendral Sudirman Road business district is based on the concept of keeping people safe and comfortable. The result indicate that Jendral Sudirman street business area is divided into three zones based on its characteristics, with each zone utilizing andesite stone guiding blocks and pedestrian lamps to increase safety and comfortable for pedestrians and people with disabilities in the night. In terms of comfort, there will be provided shade trees, trash cans, and benches to encourage pedestrian activity on Jenderal Sudirman street.

Abstract

Functional and Aesthetic Evaluation of Trees in the Road Landscape of Uluwatu I, Jimbaran Street. Uluwatu I, Jimbaran street must have a road landscape that can provide comfort and create high beauty forroad users to support tourism infrastructure on Uluwatu I, Jimbaran street. Therefore, this study aims toevaluate the functional and aesthetic value of road landscape trees. The method used is the observationmethod. There are two aspects of tree function that are assessed, namely the shade function and the pollutioncontrol function. In the assessment of all aspects of tree function, segment 2 received the highest percentageof assessment (64.6%). Each function has an average fulfillment of 54.1% for the shading function and 51.5%for the pollution control function, which is included in the medium category. For aesthetic value, in landscapephotos of similar tree groups there are only two landscape photos that fall into the category of high aestheticvalue, namely landscape photos 3 (segment 1) and landscape photos 7 (segment 4). In the mixed tree grouplandscape photo, there is only one landscape photo that is included in the high aesthetic value category, namely landscape photo 8 (segment 4). Therefore, intensive care is needed for young trees, so that tree height, branch height above the ground and maximum canopy shape can reach the ideal value. Adding a layer of plants, also adding tree planting to create a road landscape with high functional and aesthetic value.

Abstract

Melasti Beach Tourism Attractions Landscape Planning, Ungasan Village, South Kuta District, Badung. Melasti Beach is one of the natural tourist attractions in Badung Regency which is used for tourism activities and socio-religious activities. The increasing number of tourism activities in Melasti Beach demands that landscape arrangement must takes into account the biophysical and socio-religious aspects in it. The purpose of this research is to make a planning of the Melasti Beach landscape that is harmonious between biophysical and socio-religious aspects. The method used is a survey with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and literature study. The research stages in this planning consist of preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis and landscape planning. Analysis and synthesis of data was carried out spatially using an assessment level with the help of a Geographic Information System (GIS) to obtain three spatial zones that refer to the Tri Mandala concept, consisting of zones for tourism use, buffers and religious sacred ones. The circulation plan is divided into primary and secondary circulation paths with the circulation designation for Visitors with Religious Interests (PDKK) and tourists on each circulation path. The main activity plan consists of tourism activities and religious activities.

Abstract

Visitors' Perceptions and Preferences on the Denpasar Youth Park Design Application. Youth ParkDenpasar is one of the parks located in Denpasar which was created to flow the ideas and creativity of youngpeople in Denpasar. The construction of Youth Park Denpasar which has facilities that support several activitiesamong young people, it is necessary to have a design application or application of a good function accordingto the tastes and trends of today's youth, where an attractive appearance can affect the level of visitors to YouthPark Denpasar. In order to improve the appearance of Youth Park Denpasar, there is a need for research onthe perceptions and preferences of park visitors. This study aims to identify the perceptions and preferencesof visitors to the youth park and make recommendations as a solution. The study used a survey method withdata collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, literature study, and questionnaires, thatcollected 30 copies for 30 respondents. The visitor's perception of the Denpasar Youth Park design applicationshowed that most of them said it was good. Visitors' preferences for the Denpasar Youth Park designapplication show that the form of parking, lighting and still need to be improved. Visitors' perceptions andpreferences of the Denpasar Youth Park design application are used as information in the future developmentof Youth Park Denpasar or as a reference for making other parks, so that Youth Park Denpasar can be usedoptimally and comfortably according to visitors.
