Abstract

In the industrial world, every industrial company wants to get maximum profit. One way to increase profits is to minimize distribution costs. PT Jasa Harapan Barat is one of the bottled beverage distributor companies Cap Badak which is not only known in the city of Pematang Siantar, but throughout North Sumatra, even outside North Sumatra. So, the right minimum trajectory is needed so that distribution becomes faster. This minimum path problem is included in the Traveling Salesmen Problem (TSP). One way to solve TSP is by using the Branch and Bound algorithm. With data obtained from interviews and direct observations, it was obtained that solving TSP with the Branch and Bound algorithm obtained minimum paths and the total minimum path was 25.49 km. The search for the minimum path is done with the help of WINQSB software, where the length of the path of each distributing vertex is taken from google maps. And if you apply the Branch and Bound Algorithm to solve the Traveling Salesman Problem at PT Jasa Harapan Barat, the distribution cost will be cheaper for Rp. 15,093 for each distribution of Cap Badak drinks.

Abstract

Learning mathematics does not only depend on what material is taught, but also depends on how the material resources are provided/delivered. The low interest in learning mathematics and the difficulty of understanding formulas means that many children are less interested in studying mathematics. The lack of innovative learning media provided by teachers, the use of cellphones for online games means that students rarely open their textbooks. Choosing the right learning media can be a factor in a teacher's success in carrying out learning activities. The use of comics as a mathematics learning medium is motivated by the low interest in reading and analytical thinking skills among students in Indonesia. One of the factors that can trigger enthusiasm for reading and thinking is designing comic media. Comic learning media is used to increase students' motivation to learn mathematics so that it can ultimately increase students' interest in reading and the level of analytical thinking in solving mathematics problems. This research aims to conduct a literature review related to the effectiveness of using comic media in mathematics learning. The research method used is SLR (Systematic Literature Review). The purpose of SLR is to analyze, find, review, and interpret previous research on the use of learning materials or media in mathematics learning. Data collection was carried out by documenting all articles that had similar research to this research. The journal articles used in this research were 10 national journal articles taken from the last seven years of research conducted by researchers obtained from Dimensions. Based on this research, it was found that comic media in mathematics learning really helps teachers to increase students' interest in reading and problem solving abilities so that it is useful in improving student’s analytical thinking abilities.

Abstract

In Indonesia, a dip of -20 degrees has been adopted for dawn, which so far has no known scientific reference and indicates that dawn in Indonesia is too early. The results of this research show that the MPSAS value and SQM angle have an influence in determining the time of dawn so that several considerations that can be made in researching the time of dawn using SQM include paying attention to the MPSAS value of a place, the direction of the SQM angle, moonlight, weather, calibration of the SQM tool, data processing methods. etc. Research at Pondok Permai beach shows changes in sky brightness, namely at a sun depth of 15 degrees and research at Sri Mersing beach at 14 degrees. There are differences in the value of changes in sky brightness in SQM which lead to different observation angles, if it is a sunny day the difference is around 0.25-0.75 degrees, whereas if it is a cloudy day the change in the graph at each angle does not remain at an angle of 0 degrees. From the results of the research carried out, there is more often interference in the form of clouds.

Abstract

Ethnomathematics is a mathematics learning approach that integrates local culture into the learning process. This method aims to increase students' relevance and understanding of mathematical concepts through the cultural context they are familiar with. This study uses the literature study method to explore various studies that examine the implementation of ethnomathematics in mathematics learning in schools. Research shows that the integration of ethnomathematics can increase learning motivation, understanding of concepts, mathematical abilities in problem solving, and appreciation of local culture. Implementing ethnomathematics in mathematics learning involves developing teaching materials that combine local cultural elements, teacher training, and curriculum adjustments. Various studies show that this approach is effective in improving student learning outcomes, especially in areas with diverse cultural riches. However, there are challenges in implementing ethnomathematics, such as lack of resources, limited teacher knowledge of local culture, and resistance to curriculum change. To overcome these challenges, cooperation between government, educational institutions and local communities is needed. This study also highlights the importance of further research to measure the long-term impact of the integration of ethnomathematics in mathematics learning. Thus, ethnomathematics can not only improve the quality of mathematics learning, but can also contribute to the preservation of local culture.

Abstract

This investigate points to depict how the Issue Based Learning learning demonstrate is utilized in free educational modules learning. To what degree is the utilize of PBL actualized within the learning prepare and what affect is delivered when utilizing the PBL show? This investigate strategy employments subjective inquire about strategies with a writing survey approach based on diaries. The inquire about stages were carried out beginning from article collection, article decrease, article show, dialog and conclusions related to the Issue Based Learning learning demonstrate and the free educational modules. The research data source is within the shape of diary articles taken from databases such as SINTA, Google Researcher, Measurements and other significant diary destinations. The comes about of the inquire about appear that the use of the Issue Based Learning learning show encompasses a critical affect with the normal increment in understudy learning results being over the KKM esteem. Problem-based learning coordinated at understudies is able to make strides basic considering abilities that can illuminate issues, so that it has an affect on expanding problem-solving capacities that make understudies able to fathom related issues. This is often in line with the goals of the autonomous educational programs.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the effect of using counting box media in addition and subtraction story questions on the ability to understand concepts in grade 1 students at UPT SD Negeri 29 Gresik and the obstacles to its use. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection in this research was carried out by interviews with class teachers and class 1 students, observations, concept understanding tests and also documentation. The data was analyzed in 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Testing the validity of the researcher's data uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this research show that the use of counting box media can have a positive effect on grade 1 elementary school students. The effect can be seen from the results of students' ability tests which have increased compared to before using the counting box media, students' enthusiasm becomes high when learning mathematics using the counting box media. This media also makes it easier for students to solve story problems on addition and subtraction of numbers 1-10. However, there were 2 obstacles experienced by students when using counting box media, including the container for holding objects that was not large enough, the cartoon image used as a marker of the subject's identity in the questions was vulnerable to falling off the glass.

Abstract

This research discusses the problem of how effective mathematics learning is using a scientific approach at MTs Negeri 2 Medan which was carried out in TP 2023-2024. The aim of this research is to determine the results of the analysis of the effectiveness of mathematics learning using a scientific approach for students at MTs Negeri 2 Medan TP 2023-2024. This research is a descriptive research. Research conducted on 44 MTs 2 Medan students in the field was to analyze the effectiveness of mathematics learning through a scientific approach. This research was conducted in class VII-2 students at MTs Negeri 2 Medan with the subject of transformation. Learning mathematics can be said to be effective by using a scientific approach. This is known from observations of the percentage of student learning recapitulation of 91% which is very active. And seen from each indicator of student activity, the percentage equal to 100% of students plays an active role. From the data obtained there were 3 students who disturbed their friends with a percentage of 5.75%, 16 students did not understand the problem with a percentage of 36.56%, and students understood the problem with the highest number of students, with 25 students and with the highest percentage of 57.69%. So it can be concluded that the average student activity is experienced in the learning process activities, so that there is Effectiveness in Mathematics Learning Using a Scientific Approach for MTs Negeri 2 Medan Students in the 2023/2024 academic year.
