Abstract

Abstract: Seeing the extent to which the role and constraints of Islamic women in village development in Bone Bolango district, Gorontalo Province is interesting to observe. At least because the context of bone bolango is so strong in its customs and Islam that often differentiates women and men. Although in Islam the role of women is not a problem. However, in the context of Gorontalo custom, more specifically in Bone Bolango, there is a place that has a traditional nuance, which women cannot enter. However, there is something that can be said to be an anomaly, namely the presence of women in filling the sub-district office. There are even female deputy district heads who were born from a direct election process. This type of research is Mixed Method Research (MMR) with Explanatory type. The research location is in Bone Bolango district. Using a structuration theory framework approach which includes structure and agency the researcher concludes several things namely women have a big role in village development in Bone Bolango Regency. Structurally, women receive support including significance (stock of knowledge), legitimacy (rules that favor women) and domination (authority/power that is pro-women). In terms of agency/women themselves have the capacity and capability, especially in terms of networking. Even so, it cannot be denied that culture contributes to hindering the role of women. Abstract

Islamic countries are currently facing two major strategic issues: modernization and regional security. This study aims to examine the relevance of diplomacy in supporting the modernization agenda and maintaining regional security in Islamic countries. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive-analytical methodology and utilizing a critical approach theoretical framework to examine issues such as diplomatic modernization and regional security. The results of the study show that Modernization and regional security are two interrelated and crucial concepts in the development of Islamic countries. Abstract

This article aims to explore the philosophical dimension of Sufism in the Sufi interpretation of Ibn Ajibah's Al-Bahr al-Madid fi Tafsir al-Qur'an al-Majid. Based on the paradigm that this interpretation is a late-period Sufi interpretation, the authenticity of this interpretation methodology is questioned. To address this issue, this article uses the paradigm of the dichotomy of Sufi teachings into Sunni (practical) and philosophical Sufism, with content analysis through the exploration, selection, and classification of collected data. This study concludes that: First, methodologically, Ibn Ajibah's Sufi interpretation is consistently based on presenting the literal meaning as the main reference before reaching the inner meaning. Second, the philosophical dimension of Sufism in Ibn Ajibah's interpretation is found in the application of concepts such as fana', baqa, ittihad, and hulu.

Abstract

Purwokerto is known as a city with a distinct cultural identity. Nicknamed the “Ngapak City,” it is characterized by the straightforward and unpretentious dialect of its people, reflecting an open and egalitarian social character. The acculturation between Islam and local culture in this region has given rise to a unique expression of religiosity. Islam did not arrive as a dominating force seeking to replace existing traditions but rather merged harmoniously with long-standing local values. This study aims to explore the dynamics of Islam in Purwokerto using a phenomenological approach to understand religious practices in a deep and holistic manner. The findings reveal that Islam has become an integral part of daily life, evolving through a process of acculturation that fosters diverse yet respectful expressions of faith. At least five typologies of Islamic expression can be identified: Kejawen Islam, Kampung Islam, Sufi Islam (Tarekat), Moderate Islam, and Puritan Islam. This diversity reflects a dynamic and pluralistic face of Islam, yet one that remains harmonious. These typologies represent a contextualized, grounded, and culturally rooted form of Islam in the Ngapak City.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the psychology of Sufis in the industrial era 4.0 from the perspective of the Koran. This research is library research using the tafsir maudhu'i method (based on theme in the Koran interpretation) which refers to the verses of the Koran. The results of the study show that Sufi psychology directs and guides the moral and spiritual decline of modern humans to become human beings with Qur'anic character in increasing productivity and creativity in the industrial era 4.0. Sufi psychology presents a path of balance between the body and the spirit. The Sufi psychology approach in responding to modern human life in the industrial era 4.0 is carried out by contextualizing the verses of the Koran based on Sufi psychology. Sufistic verses of the Qur'an in various terms, namely, al-taubah (repetance), al-sabr (patient), al-faqr (a situation where the heart does not need except to Allah), al-zuhud (the decision to forget the world to love Allah SWT alone), al-wara', al-tawakkal and al-rida, is used as a basis for guiding and directing dynamic and diverse developments and changes in the contemporary modern era 4.0. Sufi psychology also serves to revitalize moral and spiritual disorientation in the contemporary modern era.

Abstract

This review aims to examine how the intellectual movement of the Rausyan Fikr Foundation can play a significant role in shaping the discourse of Islamic philosophical scholarship and the extent to which the influence and reality of the Rausyan Fikr Foundation's religious intellectual movement in Yogyakarta. This paper employs a qualitative method and analyzes the extent to which the preaching methods developed by the Rausyan Fikr Foundation are linked to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The sociology of religion is the author's choice for analyzing the role of the Rausyan Fikr Foundation's religious intellectual movement. The findings of this paper indicate that the intellectual movement of the Rausyan Fikr Foundation has Islamic philosophy discourse as its identity. The works of Shia scholars in Iran serve as the main reference for activists of the Rausyan Fikr Foundation. With idealism as their foundation, the Rausyan Fikr Foundation is not trapped by practical political interests because the Foundation itself has independent business units through the sale of Shia-oriented books. It is this idealism that consistently garners positive responses for the Rausyan Fikr Foundation, especially among students.

Abstract

The Islamic community's ability to understand the Koran and Hadith has given rise to various forms of understanding with a variety of practices. The response of people in an area to religious practices is often entrenched to the point that it becomes a community tradition. Such as understanding the text of the Koran and Hadith regarding the reception and implementation of practices on the Muslim victory day (Eid al-Fitr). Performing prayers, listening to sermons, visiting graves, gathering and so on decorates Eid al-Fitr in various parts of Indonesia. The practice of interpreting the meaning of Eid al-Fitr in Koto Padang Village is of particular interest in this research, because before the Eid al-Fitr prayers there is a tradition of respecting previous ulama who have made a major contribution to the development of Islamic religious knowledge in this region. This form of attitude of respecting and remembering the cleric is actualized by the community in the practice of visiting and performing sunnah prayers at the cleric's house. Then proceed with prayer or pilgrimage at the cemetery of the cleric named Sheikh Haji Ismail. Interestingly, this tradition is not carried out individually. But it is carried out by the congregation and Eid prayer officers. In the local community's understanding, this phenomenon is a form of interpretation of the Koran and Hadith which is realized in the form of practice. In analyzing the phenomena in this research, field research was used with qualitative methods, living Qur'an and phenomenology approach models. By conducting observations, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The aim of this research is an effort to reveal the community's reception and the connection between this tradition and the meaning of certain verses as a basis for implementing this routine tradition. The community's interpretation of this tradition has functional and spiritual values which include acts of respect for ulama, tawassul, friendship, and self-introspection (remembering death).
